Workers found the boy disoriented, and clueless as to how he got there. The floor manager eventually wrote the incident off as a bizarre prank staged by an intern. A miqo'te scientist in charge of the containment cell took the boy in, naming him Lionel R. Desmond, and raising him as his own son. Roughly eighty years have passed, and to this day Lio still has no recollection of where he originally came from other than the general location of where he was found as a dragonet. Small pieces of scattered memories occasionally present themselves in dreams, but piecing them together has been futile.
