: Rina is skilled with a bow and arrow at a master level. This too was learned from her time spent wandering The Shroud. Her training earned her the ability to become a bard and through the connection she has with the aether she is able to draw upon magic while playing to increase her own strength and the strength of those around her for short periods of time. While a bow is always her weapon of choice she has basic knowledge of how to use a spear, knives, and a sword.

Hair & Eyes
Czarina most often wears her hair in a half up braid to keep in from falling into her eyes while she works or performs. On occasion she might be seen pulling it all up into a high ponytail or letting it down completely. Hey eyes are the window to her soul, soft and inviting with a deep silver color and large, doe-like pupils.
Physique & Markings
Rina has a small, slender, but still full physique with round hips that sway as she walks. She maintains a proper and exceedingly graceful demeanor.
Hygiene & Attire
Czarina takes great pride in maintaining a clean and proper appearance. This does not mean that she is always clean as she frequently finds herself in situations that require her to get dirty. She often dresses in Eastern attire that includes silks, usually of white or lighter colors, that is reminiscent of her home. On occasion she will don gypsy or other attire pertinent to the situation at hand.
Personality
Psychological Profile
Rina is a kind and compassionate soul who wears her heart on her sleeve. She will never hesitate to risk herself to help another. She is fiercely loyal and brave. When pushed beyond her limit she sometimes tends to slip into an alternate and more "cold" personality that those around her will often perceive as not being typical of herself. She sometimes does and sometimes does not remember these episodes and they are usually only brought on by traumatic experiences or situations in which she is worried for the safety of someone she deeply cares about.
Voice
She speaks with a soft, sweet, mediumly high-pitched voice that has a melodic resonance.
Philosophy & Mannerisms
Czarina's faith in the Au Ra's Dawn Father god, Azim is still there, though it has wavered several times throughout the last decade of her life. She firmly believes that kindness is the key to a successful society, but logical enough to know that not everyone she encounters will be kind. This does not stop her from almost always attempting to take the kindest and most compassionate route she can to touch someone's heart, even if that person might not be kind or treat her well. She holds hope that every person has a seed of good inside them, no matter how deeply buried, and that the key to unlocking it is true compassion, understanding, and infinite patience. The only exception to this might occur when one of her personality trips is triggered. In this state, while not evil, she is much less compassionate and can even come off as "cold-hearted". She is more likely to react rashly with no thought to consequences and without considering other's feelings.

Sixth Astral Era
Childhood
Czarina grew up in a small village in the mountains of Orthard. It had a close proximity to Doma and therefore saw the occasional merchant caravan come through, but was otherwise fairly isolated. The village was predominately Raen and worshiped the Dawn Father Azim. Rina was raised from birth to become a priestess. She received a formal education which included instruction in the healing arts. On her 15th name day she was sent into the woods for a ritual that would mark her passage into the priestesshood, but was kidnapped before the ritual was complete. Though she never actually received a formal introduction as a priestess she considers herself to be one, believing that she is on a mission for Azim and that she is walking the path He has set for her.

Seventh Umbral Era
Adulthood
After the Calamity, Rina's adopted Grandmother, an Elezen by the name of Lauria, became ill. She retired with her grandmother to the location currently known as Hermit's Hovel to care for her until she passed away. After her passing Rina began to travel again, but did not return to the gypsy caravan. Instead she traveled alone working as a performer and fortuneteller to make gil. In her free time she began studying to enhance her magical skills in the healing arts. This included training at both the Conjurer's Guild in Gridania and the Astrologian's Guild in Ishgard. Despite the fact it had been years since the incident, Rina was still haunted be nightmares of her kidnapping. The man behind it, an Ul'danian merchant by the name of Daemyon, was still searching for her and as a result she avoided Ul'dah and much of Thanalan in general. During the times when her fear was too great, she would return to her home at Hermit's Hovel to meditate and relax in an attempt to steel her nerves.

In Recent Times
Moving Forward
Recently Rina had returned to Hermit's Hovel to meditate when an Xaelian man by the name of Ren Utgard appeared, drawn by the hot springs to relieve his tired muscles. Intrigued by the cold, yet mysterious man Rina invited him to rest. The pair began a discussion that led to Rina revealing to him her fears and inner struggle. The man then offered to train her so that she might be able to overcome and conquer both her fear and the man who caused them. Rina, considering the offer, accepted the risks and in turn became a companion and somewhat unofficial apprentice to the Xaela.

Through her training with him Czarina was about to find the inner strength he believed she possessed. He, along with a Keeper woman named Saya Sandana whom they met during Rina's final training session, accompanied Rina to Ul'dah. The plan was to sneak into the city and kill the merchant, but when Ren and Rina stopped at a tavern near Blackbrush station for food and drink a man inside recognized the Au Ra girl and reported her location to the merchant. All this occurred without the Au Ras noticing. The two drank until intoxicated and then bedded down under a waterfall for the night. When Ren awoke in the morning though Rina was gone, two sets of footprints and her bow the only evidence of her disappearance.

Shortly after his awakening, Saya returned from a side mission. The two formed a plan to rescue Rina. The plan took a couple days to carry out. The two entered Ul'dah, hearing rumor Rina was to be found at the Quicksands. Upon investigation they found her bound by a magical slave collar, dancing against her will. Saya was able to use her magic to deactivate the collar while Ren bribed the guard watching her for time alone with the woman. The three then made their escape, spending the night in a cave outside the city.

The next day the trio began forming a new plan. Rina had heard that Daemyon would be traveling through the South Shroud on his way to trade. The three staked out a spot on the road and waited, attacking the merchant and his crew. Rina drew on the strength Ren had helped her find to send an arrow through the man's heart, killing both him and her lingering fears. Once he was dead Rina's nightmares subsided and she was able to live normally again. With her main objective fulfilled Rina agreed to accompany Ren and Saya in his search for his daughter, Ane. Their search led them down several paths as they followed the young girl's trail. Eventually it led to a fatefully sweet reunion not far outside Ishgard.

Throughout their search, Rina learned a great deal more about the past of her Xaelian companion and feelings of true affection blossomed in her heart. The two developed an intensely spiritual connection that led to a relationship. Talk of marriage was on the table, but never grew into fruition as Rina's destiny was pulled in a different direction and she lost contact with Ren, Saya, and Ane. She still thinks of them fondly and remembers their adventures as some of the happiest times in her life.

Rina's path led her to seek employment as a bartender at a club in the Goblet housing distict of Ul'dah. Though she knew the venue is not a place she belonged, she felt Azim calling her to help those in need there. But now her call from Azim, or perhaps her faith in general, is wavering and she has begun to search for her next calling if it is out there. She has begun to feel restless and longs for the adventure of traveling again. Her thoughts have turned to returning to her homeland to explore and see what she might find.

The following items are things that this individual carries on their person at all times. These are noted for pickpockets, and those watching her closely. RP Limits
I like to consider myself a flexible player who is willing to commit to a number of different types of scenes and role-play scenarios, but even I have my limits. If something is on the play list, assume it means yes, as long as it's within the context of the current play or ongoing plot. No's are typically a hard no, and it means don't ask.

RP Hooks
While the below is by no means comprehensive, it's a kind of spring board for walk-up RP. Longer plots that are meant to run for more than a few quick RP's, please feel free to send me a tell so we can work out a good reason for our characters to get to know one another. I'm always looking for RP, unless I'm actively spamming PvE content.

Player Information
Player Note
There is a lot of information on this character wiki, but it is by no means completely comprehensive. There are chunks of backstory that are left intentionally vague so that details can be later added as developed through creative writing or in role-play revelation. Feel free to use Common or Uncommon rumors freely, if you want to use a Rare Rumor as a plot hook or to spark RP, I would ask that you send me a tell first, to make certain it's alright.
Character Lore Adherence
Everything concerning this character that has not been confirmed by in-game lore should be taken with a grain of salt. Anything that has had to be changed because of lore shifting will be noted below.

Tropes & Explanations
A trope is a convention or device that is often found in creative works. In this case, the tropes below describe my character either in part, or as a whole. Their background, personality, appearance, etc, most of them can be described in the tropes below.
Trope Tropes are devices and conventions that a writer can reasonably rely on as being present in the audience members' minds and expectations. On the whole, tropes are not clichés.
