Character

Rinh is a highly competitive, wandering monk and acrobat. She wasn't born in Eorzea but she has wandered the continent most of her life, at first with an acrobat troupe and later after being unsatisfied with her progress, alone to continue her martial arts training. Most of her wanderings are a direct result from getting lost however. Her competitiveness often times gets her into trouble, she can't back down from a challenge no matter how ridiculous. Sometimes this borders on the dangerous when she overestimates her abilities to take on more enemies than she can handle.

Yehn Miyuun - Her older sister whom she came with on a ship to Eorzea. She died on an accident on the boat before they even hit land.

Friends

Oliver Hoodwicks - A poacher of the twelveswood. After she helped him escape from imprisonment in Gridania he has followed after her, to keep her from getting lost. They fight like crazy but underneath it all they get along well...somehow. Jin'sae Hara - A Miqo'te boy she met in Limsa Lominsa. She's met a steady stream of people after running into him. Cythe Sundowner - A Rihdan'i warrior Rinh met in Limsa Lominsa. The way he carried himself led her to try and spark a rivalry between them...but it didn't work. She has however become close to him as of late.

History/Timeline

Her first memories are of being on a small wooden boat along with her sister and a male Hyur. It was cold, and fire was raining down upon them. She remembered the pain in the back of her head and the feel of warm blood against her fingers. She also remembers when the largest fireball fell onto the boat, killing her sister and the Hyur man as well as breaking the boat into pieces. She wasn't sure how she made it to land, but she was awoken by a gruff lalafell man who took her to recover at a camp belonging to a troupe of traveling acrobats and performers. Because of her young age, she was easily trained and soon became an asset to the troupe. The lalafell became something of a mentor to her, training her in both acrobatics as well as the art of the pugilist. As time wore on, her interest in the latter became more overwhelming and she began to neglect her place in the troupe.

In her mid-teens she parted ways with the troupe in order to concentrate further on her martial arts training. This led her to Ul'dah where she trained with the pugilists guild for a time and later met a practicing monk, who was impressed by her zeal and determination. Under the Monk she further honed her skills until the wanderlust took her and she found herself in Gridania. Here, she found herself broke and in an attempt to earn money she displayed her acrobatic skills...only to be stopped by the woodwailers.
