Neutral Good. Bennett will help anyone he can, usually trying to stay within the laws of the area. If he knows he can avoid being caught, he may very well break laws to help people.

Quirks

• Seems to flinch whenever flustered, or when something happens near him that he doesn't think is right.
• Says Um or Er a lot, has a hard time talking or looking people in the eye when he's not telling the truth.
• Very easily flustered.

• Extremely naive, believes that everyone is a good person in some way.
• Lacks the resolve to kill people and beastmen.

Fears

• Nixes. Those giant frogs are no good, and almost ate him once. Bennett actively avoids nixes like the plague.

Talents

While he may not be very wise or book-smart, Bennett has a knack for learning things quickly. His ability to learn has made him compotent in healing people, defending friends, and surviving in the wilds against animals and deadly monsters. Constantly exploring has also earned Bennett the skill of finding trouble very easily.

Intelligence

Bennett is not very smart at all, and his natural curiosity would likely lead him to death if he wasn't so very lucky. However, he does know when to speak and when to stay silent. He's been around enough people to know how to act in public.

Personal

• Bennett is the self-proclaimed "Master of Hide and Seek".
• Being a lalafell, he has a natural affinity for magic, but prefers to use swords.

Weapons

• Bennett carries a small arsenal on his back almost all the time, in a yellow duffel bag the same size as him. He carries a greatsword, longsword, two smallswords, a shield, an axe, a lance, a healing staff, casting rod, and a flare gun. And to top it all off, there's still several pounds of fireworks in the bag. The bag is extremely heavy, and Bennett usually has to take it off during a fight.

• The longsword is his favorite weapon, and it is enhanced with materia to help Bennett parry his foes. For this reason, it is named the "Deflector".

Magic

Bennett is naturally able to use magic, but he doesn't like using it. He can't cast very strong spells, either.

• While he worked at the Gladiator's Guild, Bennett had to learn conjury to heal wounded Gladiators. As an adventurer, he uses Conjury often.
• To defend himself from dangerous mages, Bennett was talked into studying Thaumturgy as well.
• Under the training of Nyscera Alarone, Bennett is able to use Ninjitsu and Mudras.

Crafting

Bennett's crafting extent only goes to building mammets.

Relatives

• Dandri Cooper: Bennett's younger brother who decided to stay home in Merycidia. Bennett writes home to him often.

Positive

• Xero Aizngown: Bennett's best friend. Despite his odd past, Xero has become far more mellow and lives a relatively normal life as Heartwood's senior delivery boy. Occasionally, Bennett and Xero pull pranks on Heartwood's members or on each other.

• Vektis Sol: Bennett's role model, and the true Bestest. Bennett sees Vektis as what he would probably wind up being when he gets older.

• Didiloo Diloo: A very close friend of Bennett's, and one of the workers at Heartwood.

• Arylisse Dayhelm: Xero's adoptive mother. Ever since Bennett joined Heartwood, Arylisse was kind to him while having to take care of Xero. Bennett will always see her as a friend.

• Nyscera Alarone: Bennett's teacher. Nyscera has been teaching Bennett the ways of the ninja for some time now, and the techniques she taught him have saved his life repeatedly.

• Kaiya Ailbhe: The head doctor. Kaiya taught Bennett how to properly heal people without using aether, and has gotten him out of many a mess. Bennett believes that Kaiya is one of the smartest members of Heartwood, if not the smartest.

Neutral

• Domenick Devereux: Domenick, or "Mr. Sunshine" as Bennett calls him, seems to be one of the few Eldritch Collective members that have never immediately told him to get out of the Black Vault when he sneaks in. This is either because he never catches him, or because he doesn't care.

• Saruna Verselo: This guy once tried to cut off Bennett's hand while he was running away from Kett. Bennett never forgot that. He seems to try to help people now, though.

Negative

• C'tadhara Kett: The crazy blood-lady. She attacked several people in the past, including him, and eventually drove one of Bennett's friends insane. After spying on her, Bennett knows why she's done all of her awful deeds, and believes the only place for her to go is gaol.
