Sayuri is a princess.

Well, not really, but she was raised as a princess. Her personality was formed solely around sitting down, being quiet and overall, trying to look pretty. Overall she is stubborn and gives away a spoiled impression. She wallows in self pity when something happens to her, and can be overly joyful when something good happens.

But in her heart lies something different. On the inside Sayuri is a strong woman, capable of dealing with great mental strain and hardships. She is physically powerful, coming from a strong, proud Raen bloodline and she has the capabilities to grow into a strong, fine leader.

But her upbringing also left her naïeve and unsettled, and recent events have severely damaged her young heart, leaving her behind insecure and with a shattered world, lying at her feet.

Sayuri was born into purity. With hair as white as fresh snow and a silver skin, she is often looked at as something eery, almost from another realm. She has a slight build, almost like a child, but her muscles are toned and she is clearly fit. Her face is flickered with white freckles that fall beneath her crimson eyes, contrasting with the white scales she carries amply all over her body.

She can mostly be seen in 3 outfits. One is her armor, that changes from time to time. Another is a simple plain black dress. Her last outfit is a black and white patterned Kimono, consisting of several layers of clothing and a large black obi.

PAST Born into the ruling class of the Raen, Sayuri was destined to be born into great wealth. Born with a fair skin and light hair, her family decided quickly that as a girl, she was destined to be wed off to a proper suitor. Her first years as a child were spent in silence, as she was instructed to not cry, or yell or misbehave. She started receiving training on diplomacy and courtmanship at the tender age of 5. Around 7, Sayuri stole one of her brother's swords for the first time, soon after discoverings books that showed ancient hand-to-hand combat in her father's library. Intriguid she started to learn, both through the lessons she received, as the lessons she taught herself. As she grew older, and her face and body started maturing, Sayuri was dragged from ruling house, to ruling house, her parents presenting her to possible suitors time after time. She was mostly restricted to her room, as her father was afraid she might trip and fall, possibly damaging her flawless skin. During this time, she spent most of her time either gardening, or reading books, afraid to practice her fighting. Her father would regularly check her body to see if she did not have any bruises, that could possibly decrease her value on the market, and she quickly learned, that to men, she was seen as an object, a beautiful bird, supposed to be held in a pretty golden cage. In her late teens, a wedding between her and one of the house Yuzuka was announced, which would be held the day she would turn 20. The night before her wedding, she was introduced to her future husband, and upon seeing him, she turned around, knocked down both pair of parents and ran. . PRESENT As she ran away from home, in Ishgard she was stopped by a certain group of soldiers, the soldiers tried to separate her from the city, clearly with no good intentions. As she was trying to defend herself Victor Blakefield saved her and took her under his wing, teaching her how to fight with a greatsword and move fluently in an armor. She and Victor soon grew close and became mates, they both joined the Kindred and Victor granted her a stone that would enhance her magical abilities. After a short period of time, Victor took back off to Ishgard, seemingly in a hurry, leaving her only a letter that he had left her and he would not return. Not shortly after that, the crystal he gave her, started corrupting her, with members of the Kindred confirming that their was foul magic in play. The origins and consequences of the crystal being in the Kindred house, are for now, still unknown. --- Template was created by Bancroft Gairn, then adapted by Xheja Rajhera.
