Appearance & Personality

K'yhia is very short, her skin is pale, her right eye is a deep blue and the other is colourless, with the flesh around it severely damaged. She often wears an eyepatch over her blind eye. Her face is abundant with white toned markings common to Keepers of the Moon.

When K'yhia first took up residence in Limsa Lominsa's Drowning Wench she didn't trust many people, if anyone. But over time after the Calamity she's opened up and become more active around Eorzea, eventually selling her skills as a mercenary... for the right price, of course.

She's generally not very well spoken, and uptight people can really get on her nerves. In a group situation she tends to hold back her thoughts unless she feels the discussion is taking the wrong course.

Biography

15 years before the Calamity K'yhia was born into a tribe, though her memory doesn't span that far back as at a very young age she was abducted and her tribe pillaged by Ul'dahn raiders working under hire for an underground organisation based in the Thanalan region. For most of her childhood and early adulthood she was forced to take up the Lance and fight as a child soldier for the same group that took her away, travelling around the region of Thanalan. Growing up she saw countless deaths of those close to her, and she eventually gave up on getting close to anyone.

She was proficient as a Lancer, eventually mastering her Lancer training and attempting to study the arts of the Dragoon. Because of her lack of an actual Dragoon to teach her she has developed a rather unique twist on the classic Dragoon skills, the quirks of which are noticeable to a trained eye.

After many years of warfare the calamity struck whilst she was on an operation. She used the chaos and frenzy to escape her "tribe", eventually landing in Limsa Lominsa where she has spent her time since, free from her ties but still wary of being caught out. It's for this reason that upon having to visit Thanalan and Ul'dah she wears a mask to cover her identity, and will not, under any circumstances, remove her armour or let her weapon out of her sight.

Since then she's taken up work as a Mercenary For Hire, no questions asked, as long as the price is right. Using her skills as a Dragoon she's yet to come across a job she couldn't handle.
