Height: 7 fulms 2 ilms Weight: 310 ponz Kel'ari is a tall Au Ra, but not overwhelmingly so, standing at a comfortable, if not above average height of 7'2. He is muscled in a distinct and particular manner that hints to a hidden vanity and a diligent self-care which belies his fiendish strength. The Auri has the build of a lithe, yet muscular acrobat, aimed for durability and flexibility with a powerful back, broad shoulders, a compact waist, and long, well trained legs. The Dotharl's skin is a rich, dark brown, with a myriad of faded battle scars crisscrossing his torso and arms, a new one being added every so often, though none seem to be of particular note or mention. Glimmering, black scales with a faint iridescence interrupt the smoothness of his flesh to cover his forearms, biceps, legs, back, and throat like their own thin plates of armor, while his long, spiny tail often seems to have a mind of its own in the way it dances and weaves while he is idle. The Auri's face is a smooth oval with a pointed chin, the scales of his throat running along his jawline and across the bridge of his nose. He has noticeably high and prominent cheekbones and a wide nose, the right nostril of which is pierced by small black stud. The lips of his face are softly feminine but masculinely shaped, dark, full, and plush looking. At times his lips seem almost inviting if not for the array of sharp teeth hinted behind them when he speaks or when twisted into an unconsciously devious grin. One of the more prominent features that Kel'ari possesses are his eyes. His are an almond shape, sit beneath long, fanned lashes, sharp, thick, brows, and are an intense, intimidating fiery-red orange, the limbal ring being a crimson red. His faintly glowing, eternally burning gaze is one that is captivating in an unsettling way, something about his unwavering, pinprick pupil stare that leads one to feel as though they are prey being sized up by a predator waiting in ambush. Thick, black, tribal tattoos underline these, and head upwards between them in a soft wave design, helping to give a fairly dark look about him. Kel'ari's hair is long, reaching between his shoulder blades, is the texture of goose down, and of a sky blue color, though in certain light can give the appearance of leaning more towards the silver spectrum. Pastel pink highlights are blended at the tips of the strands, the overall effect sometimes invoking reminisce of cotton candy. He wears it away from his face with flat, roughly cut, feather-like layers moving towards his nape, and the longer length towards the back being braided into a tight ponytail. His hands are large, his fingers long, and both lack the smoothness of the rest of him. Instead, they are rough and calloused, his knuckles noticeably scarred and conditioned to being smashed into things such as walls and people's faces. All of his digits end in sharp, well maintained, inch long claws which by no means are strangers from finding themselves embedded deep into the flesh of others. Kel'ari is a dynamic, dangerous, and unpredictable individual who has a propensity for being calculating, destructive, manipulative, and violent. His aura is quite hostile, his actions quite excessive, and the tone of his voice is often easily misconstrued as being overly aggressive and forceful; even when he does not intend it to be. While not being blind to these traits, or the negative effects of his actions, he seems to find difficultly in caring. In many ways, Kel'ari could be described as a moral nihilist, and as such unaffectedly brushes off labels of him being denounced as “evil,” apparently having no real concept of what that is, or what the opposite could be. This mindset is a defining characteristic of who he is, and what drives the subconscious motivations of his actions. The Auri possesses a strong blood lust and seems to find the most comfort, calmness, and stability in the midst of bloodshed. Over time however, he has managed to temper this instinctual impulse for destruction through necessity, which thus makes it uncommon for him to go on random, indiscriminate killing sprees. In fact, Kel'ari appears to be very judicious and discriminating when choosing his victims, and rarely ever are they anyone for whom great effort in avenging is expended. While he could be described as intelligent, his knowledge is based almost entirely on anatomy, physics, and a variety of other subjects that are related to causing pain and death. Though a good portion of this information is due to his upbringing as a Dotharl, the vast majority is the direct result of his unquenchable curiosity and slow, painful(for them) experimentation. He has spent thousands of hours methodically dissecting various beings, sapient and otherwise, he has come across in his travels; partially in an effort to gain a better understanding of what makes them tick(and how to most efficiently make that ticking stop), but also in the interest of his own amusement. In interacting with others, Kel'ari can be disarmingly charming when he needs to be. Through practice, he has learned that he cannot always get what he wants by force and intimidation alone, and that sometimes a honeyed tongue and feathered touch will net him better results. He has found this to be especially true when dealing with those who possess preconceived notions of Dotharls, and Auri in general. Because of this, he will always attempt to maintain a cool head when in large groups, or while in the presence of individuals he has not already decided to kill in the immediate future. While he is not an overly sociable person to begin with, he does enjoy other people's company, albeit in moderation. It may take a little to get him talking, but the Xaela is an active listener and seems to take genuine interest in what people say to him. His responses and advice are always objective and very carefully thought out, even if it is done so only to maintain a facade of gregariousness. To this end also, his demeanor can become quite jovial, friendly, and uncharacteristic of the image normally associated with the Dotharl, even if this too is only another aspect of the charade. Still, it can be fairly easy for just about anyone to enjoy his company under the right conditions. Kel'ari is engaging when dealing with others, and would not be best described as a wallflower as he is not at all shy, simply quiet when unfamiliar with you..
