The same story told over and over. Orphaned by war and poverty. Aysa grew up like many others without knowing a family. Stealing, fighting and taking odd jobs to get by. She was at least good at it. Well, in the grand scale of combat she would impress nobody, but a kid almost the size of a fully grown midlander could get a way with a lack of skill with brute force alone. As an adult she scraped by. While no longer stealing, she continued to fight. Plenty hires for a young pile of muscle who could hold a weapon and grunt in a menacing manner. The early years of her life were uneventful, it wasn't until she grew into into a more skilled fighter that she found a real home within Limsa's Yellowjackets.

The scruffy Yellowjacket has the build of a highlander, that of height and muscle. Her uncared for hair and her stout demand to never be seen in a dress left her looking on the edge of the feminine scale, she had yet held a reason to get of her way to look 'pretty'. While not completely peppered in scaring, she had a fair few marks about the face. One along the bridge of her nose, another behind an ear, one to the side of left eye. Thin, old scars from childhood for the most part, yet they added to the 'charm' of this boyish brawler. Aysa doesn't have a head for fashion. If she were to be found out of her uniform it would be in some loose fitting, easy to manage garb. Like the other Jackets making up Limsa's forces, the highlander would be quick to recommend some solid steel than she would any eye catching fabric.

Aysa liked to consider herself a friendly sort, but she had plenty of short comings. Only in her recent years after much prodding has she tried to be a little more social. Often times she comes off as a loner, moody with a preference for isolation. An early life in Ul'dahs best slums left her with an attuide of every woman for themselves. Under the shell one might find a friendly sort. Often, drink would be required to bring the more out going side of Aysa's nature into the light.

After her first real connection crashed around her, the highlander had taken to far more casual encounters, worried of personal connections that went deeper than surface level. This made her hard to work with, though it also helped her focus on certain aspects.

Recently, Aysa has...

■ Left the Pathfinders Free Company after finding herself a poor fit.

■ Taken to writing. She will never show another her scribbles. Never!

■ Joined the ranks of the Limsa Yellowjackets as a rookie. Patrols filled with bandits and giant crabs keep up most of her time.

Friends ● Yvenalise Tachibana - The term 'best friend' would imply Aysa was rolling in friendship. Still, Tachi was for lack of a better term, the highlanders best friend. A lancer who taught Aysa to open up and drive towards her goals, without her the highlander would likely still be guarding crates of carrots with a blunted sword and shield, going nowhere in life. ● Averill Rooks - The strongest person Aysa knows. While not often in his company, and pair have traded blows during tournaments and training enough that Aysa would consider him a friend, admiring his strength and willingness to act.
