General ☾

Magnai3.jpeg With her small frame and stature, the Xaela woman would easily be seen as a wandering child or any other sort of delicate thing. But, of course, she was neither such things. Being an Au Ra female, she was born small. Definitely on the smaller end of the spectrum for Au Ri, standing at a humble 4 fulms and 8 ilms. On top of her demure height, one would expect she would also have a more stouter body to match it, but in fact she is quite thin. She had a childish beauty about her, but a mature and alluring spark to her gaze that gives away her true nature.
The thing other than her small size on would notice about her, if not the first, would be her ridiculously, Rapunzel-like long hair. Her hair reaches all the way to her feet, where she often cuts enough so she didn't sweep the floor in her wake. It has a wispy and semi-wild look, but it is apparent that there is great care put into the health of her hair. Her hair is an odd, lavender-silver color, which she will occasionally dye whenever she sees fit to do so, though lately this hasn't been often. She often has her hair in updo styles, such as a ponytail or twintails, to keep them more tamed.
Magnai's eyes are almond shaped, upturned and large. Her eyes are a bright, blood red; clear and easily noticed in a crowd. They have a unique and fae-like look to them, even glowing when an event permitted it (such as performing magicks and the like), something that one would certainly notice. She has full and curly lashes that she occasionally dresses in cosmetics.
Despite her great love for evenings, her skin is a medium brown tan, with reddish/warm undertones. Her skin is unblemished, aside from rough hands and dirty feet, given her habit of ravaging for herbs and walking around barefoot.
Her scales are oily black with a slight violet sheen to them. At the tip of her tail, there is a slight gradient into paler scales, signifying her Raen heritage.

Clothing ☾

Magnai has a wide range of styles, going from furs passed down to her to more common Eorzean clothing. She has recently adopted a more Othardian style, with mixtures of Doman and Tribal Xaelan styles. Though, no matter the case, she still loves to get away with as little clothing as possible if she's able.

Family ☾

Vidarr Bellerose (Deceased)- Her late teacher, who was a travelling mage. Talented and wise, even for his young age, Magnai holds great respect and revere for him even after his passing. He came and saved her as a wailing child who had been tied and abandoned by her tribe for fear of the demon they believe to be inside of her. He taught her to be unafraid of the darkness and taught her many disciplines of magic, as well as survival skills so that she never needed to be afraid of loneliness ever again. He taught her how to live, to write, to control her demons... and most importantly, he taught her love. But even a man of such greatness could not live forever, he was attacked by a group of simple bandits. This drove the girl into a crazed vengeance, hunting each one by one and mercilessly killing them. Though, after she hunted the leader, she veil cleared and she felt the embrace of Vidarr's spirit ever with her. She vowed then to never kill again, and to take his original teachings of pacifism to heart, only fighting if there is no other choice.
Yesugen Qestir (Deceased) - Her birth father, a man she thought long dead. She recently found him again when she returned to Othard, only to discover he was dying. They shared a precious 3 days together, quietly alone. Despite his vow of silence as a Qestir, he broke it for her in his last moments, uttering his love for her with his last breath. He left behind several possessions, including a couple wolf pups, whose mother died soon after Yesugen did.
Ume Akagane (Deceased) - Her birth mother, a Raen. She believed herself to be full Xaela until her discovery of her mother after her father's passing. It seemed she had died some years ago rebelling the Garleans. Not much is known of her, other than she and Magnai were separated when she was a babe, thus landing her in the arms of the tribe that inevitably abandoned her.

Positive/Friends ☾

Parvaneh Shadi'ra (Alive, PC) - The Matriarch of the Shadi'ra Clan who found herself in a situation where she bit off more than she could chew. Magnai collected the nigh-lethally injured Keeper and healed her at her small cottage deep in the wood. Though Parva was difficult with Magnai at first, they have since reached a point of requited friendship and trust.
Kyren Yun (Alive, PC) - The Bodyguard of the Glass Sylph. A fellow Xaela, one of few she has met thus far. Though she would admit it was a bit jarring to meet such a traditional Xaela, she quickly warmed up to the man. Though his gaze causes her trust in him to falter, she has found his ingenuity and kindness causes this to be in the back of her mind.
Y'iska Tia (Alive, PC) - A Seeker man she had met once some years ago. He was severely injured after a battle to the death with his father, and she was the nearest healer. She was then still learning the craft, so there was only so much she was able to do for him. Though heavily scarred, it was by her hand that he yet lives. While in the healing process, they grew close, and became fast friends. Though unfortunate events caused them to separate, they went forward secure in each other's friendship.
Good StandingA'zaela Linh (Alive, PC) - A rather adorable girl she adventured for a time within Othard. She looks forward to another meeting.
Good StandingZahn Xetho (Alive, PC) - A peculiar and silent conjurer she met during her time within Glass. The keeper's tragic past sparks a curiosity in Magnai, with a slightly sick spark to it.
Name - Blahblah

Neutral/Foe ☾

Jaliqai Gharl (Alive, PC) - A Xaela she had met once on a hill while napping. Though the meeting was short and a bit random for her, she hopes to meet the man again. His odd way of carrying himself had sparked her curiosity.
Caex'ra Vaeriar (Alive, PC) - Parvaneh's mate. She has limited knowledge of the Keeper, but strikes her as a good person, though a bit too obnoxious for her liking.
Ireth Shadi'ra (Alive, PC) - Parvaneh's mother, if one could give her such a title. Racist and full of herself, Magnai has little to no desire to see this woman again.
