Despite her reasons for the hunting of innocent creatures of the Twelveswood, her unnecessary habit of kidnapping and torturing members of the Adders, Adventures, and Merchants alike has made her a folktale amongst the Shroud. Woodwailers on her trail, many would consider her somewhat of a fugitive.

♦ HER STORY

S'vokani and her brother S'ari grew up as the children of a Nunh's mistress; She was revered as beautiful amongst the clan, carrying very soft and motherly features. Despite their mother being a female, she was not responsible for hunting, instead spending her time teaching the infants of the clan about the world outside of the dunes; About Ul'dah's riches and Gridania's greenery, as well as the shimmering waters of Limsa Lominsa. It was this uniqueness and beauty that attracted their father initially, and it came to blossom into a relationship that surpassed simply procreation: As a nunh, however, his duties were not neglected. Most of his time was spent with his favored Mistress, and soon enough two beautiful children were born of their united feelings.

As children, both of their lives differed not from the life of the average Miqote; And as such, playing in the sand and throwing grubs and orobons at one another was commonplace. Around this time, the exposure of the Forest Zu clan occurred, exciting a few chance meetings that, their father had hoped, would be the union of the two clans. Their father had been foolish to expect such. As days passed, it became more and more apparent that the Desert Zu were being watched, however, by who was a completely different story. S'cadyr, head of the Forest Zu, had sent his brother S'lharum, to spy on their desert counterparts and pinpoint what exactly made their 'adversary' tick: What it would take to control and assimilate the clan into their way of thinking. They quickly surmised that this profound woman was the source of the Nunh's affections...

And so they hatched a devastating plan.

Varus Adelric Rosenthal || Quite possibly the most annoying figure in her life, the Magus known as Varus Rosenthal has been nothing but a harbinger of danger for S'vokani. Their first encounter was her fault entirely, having found him researching certain aspects of rock-faces in the Twelveswood. She couldn't help herself and attempted an attack upon him. In the end, she was coerced (if not threatened) into becoming one of the male's bodyguards: An occupation that entailed much more than just protecting him. She's just now found out that after a year of isolation, that Varus has disappeared, leaving virtually no reason for her presence in his estate. However...


Rukira Michaelis || Truth be told, these two have far from a friendship between one another. Their first meeting was an exchange of venomous words, and it'd become apparent to the Miqo'te that she (Rukira) had some very, very unrepressed jealousy issues and a need to get the stick out of her ass. After recent events, it seems as though Rukira has become more accepting of her presence amongst the ranks, and vice versa. Rukira and S'vokani's interactions since Varus' exodus have been bordering on friendly, the woman often giving advice and caring for S'vokani, whether she likes it or not.

S'datih Nunh || The only current man in her life that she can truly stand. S'datih is the only remaining member of the (Forest) subsect of the Zu clan, and therefore it's sole leader. Due to the ghosts of his past, he is far too weary of returning to the place where it all started, instead opting to wander. She finds this odd, and feels the need to pry into his life. She goes as far as to hunt in his 'territory,' and obstruct his alone time as much as possible. Deep down inside, however, she finds affections for him. She has sworn to herself one simple thing: She will never become a mistress to a Nunh, thus making her feelings for him complicated. Despite her conflicted feelings, the two work to have some sort of working relationship, despite the odds being against them.

S'ari Nunh || S'vokani's elder brother, the leader of her clan, and the only blind Miqo'te for miles. She finds nothing but contempt when it comes to him. Being the current leader of the dwindling (Desert) Zu clan, S'vokani has found her brother to be a failure of a leader. Rather than taking up other important responsibilities such as hunting (Which, while she understands that her 'sisters' will be much better at it than her blind brother would ever be, is something that is still of import to organize,) he spends all of his time procreating and trotting around with the trollops. She used to compare S'datih to her brother commonly, and it would cause quite a bit of animosity. Since their last meeting, the two have garnered a much more amiable view of one another: She's come to accept her brother's role out of respect, but otherwise still refuses to live by those rules.


S'tsunhe Tia || Acting representative of her Tribe, S'tsunhe is almost, quite literal, S'ari's right-hand man. The male is often away on trips to Ul'dah, finding and procuring ties for the tribe that will benefit them, as well as furthering his own personal agendas. Because of his mannerisms and lack of passion when he speaks, S'vokani truly can say that her relationship with the man is far from fruitful. She can't help but feel that her brother putting all of her trust into him could only turn out bad...
