Character
♫ Look into our eyes.
See the truth inside our core.
One soul sings while the other wishes greatly for...
A way to sail the darken seas of this agony.
Pain, Roses, blues with golds and greens.
Perplexing box of fate.
Wish to break this gilded cage.
Haunting melody, weaving its way surrounding me.
Suddenly can't see the light, is the sun setting?
Anyone there? Do we even really know?
The golden one is our mind.
Sweet and shy but is that so?
Wisdom leaks in golden lights
Dark ideas slowly unfold.
Tainted waters, shades of truth.
The heart always seems blue.
Oh soul of blue? Are you as rampant as a tsunami?
Storming currents, Never to be tamed.
When no one looks shes as soft as dew.
Let their emotions run as much as rain. ♫
~ Sung by Liana Blu
General
Her real name was Suri Blu, though after events of fusing with her sister she attached her sister's name to her own becoming Surilian (dropping a single letter 'A'). Hope was something this Miqo'te struggled to keep at her side. Her travels had brought her small bits of joy but mainly splashed and tainted in pain. She first came to Eorzea by boat. It wasn't a planned trip. Her past filled with pain and accusation, she hoped this new land would open her a better path then the accusations of 'murderer'. Once off the Limsan port she decided to look for the parents that out-casted her. She only wished to know if the rumors were true. There on the carriage she became ill from motion sickness and fell off the cart. After a while of awakening, she found herself outside the shroud.
As time went by she found herself in a company of Miqo'te and one Hyur. They seemed like such a lively group. It was hard to fit in and she found herself perching somewhere high and watching. Over time though Liana appeared like a tsunami, wrecking the love Suri wanted to badly. Feeling they rejected her she slipped into Pearl Lane and hid in the shadows. There she found peace stealing and taking odd jobs of transporting 'goods' in and out of Ul'dah. Soon she found a new family. There she embraced it, clinging like a insecure child.
After a twisted turn of events, Suri found herself full of anger and despair. She pulled away from the family that took her in deciding it best to be alone and not liking the events that were happening. With her sister, her only real friend, Surilian found her self growing more angry. Her usually sunny personality showing only to a chosen few or to those she would deceive.
Appearance
Surilian can be seen wearing just about anything she deems fashionable at the time. Though she prefers to have free movement of her legs, so skirts are very common. She is noted to have scars under her clear cyan eye. Any question of it will be answered with ignorance or sunny re-directive dialogue. She has two toned eyes. Her left is golden and is her favored eye. The right eye is a cyan shade but clear as the water she favors. She prefers a bow most of all, which she happily names Miasma. She loves hats so may have a tendency to sport a new one from time to time. She is most often seen with her favored hat. A large sweeping black hat with large plums. She enjoys the jingles of the ornaments near her ear, musical no matter where she strolls, and the fact the hat hides her gaze. She has lately scrubbed off the warpaint, no longer caring to honor the fallen of her kind.
During a heist gone awry, Surilian was force to sheer her hair with a blade in order to escape death. For a while it was cropped shorter then usual. Though later in life found a vendor of hair tonics. She now uses her gil to extend her hair and have found a new shade for her hair. The color choice was originally for disguise purposes only, though after time the color grew on her.
Behaviour
♫ Emeralds on Rose,
Cinnamon adorns,
Tenderness awaits, under the thorns.
Read me awake,
Call me to side,
Whispers of aether in her confide.
Pale of skin,
Cannot deceive,
Smiling go on, as Nymeia weaves. ♫
~ From the journals of U'tano Kazhe
Surilian loves to read to understand it all and hides a inner wisdom. After events, her confidence in speaking her mind has rose though her over all confidence dropped lower then the oblivion itself. Chains of events forcing her to mature very quickly from the innocent sheltered girl she once was. She still has innocent moments especially in love. In the end Suri is torn between the anger burning in her heart and the hope she holds on to by a thread.

Combat
Surilian is a archer through and through. She can't live without it. Hunting is second nature and a thrill that can't be matched. Though she is open-minded and curious about other methods, Miasma, the bow will always be her first love. Suri excels in multiple targets, since it makes hunting much faster. She never likes to use it in actual battle and would prefer to stay out of it. At times Surilian may enjoy close combat, but prefers to wield any item close by. Be it a vase, rock, or an item in her bag, her foe best be prepared to dodge.
Liana and Surilian have found they can both switch quickly during battles. Though Suri would prefer not to, her expertise in hitting multiple targets is a must for Liana. Liana has been known to drag her sister out via a mirror they now carry. Making it a lethal combat style. By using reflections, the sisters will tag team out of things quickly. If the mirror ever shatters, they may even use the combatants armor or weapon if it is polished enough to see her face.
Weapon specialization:
- ■Bow
- ■Darts(prefers sleep darts)
- ■Arming/Disarming traps
- ■Daggers

Echo Power
Echo Power: Thrumming Perception
Description: This skill is dependent on the surroundings and nature on which it happens. This echo comes in two parts as follows one part for Liana and one for Surilian:
Suri has come along way personality wise. She is starting to stand up, feel a bit more confident. Life tossing her in harsh ways has forced her to grow and develop faster. As well as she has a bit more negative outlook on things. As such she worked hard to train herself in her thrum. Her thrum still may give her odd vision of someones future, but by calming her mind and focusing on a drum beat in her mind or with her hands, she has discovered she can teleport to any given place. All she needs to do is think of a person or place and she is there. Sadly at times of sadness, low self esteem, or confidence the Thrum will still act out of control. She is working on this but has found herself teleported into odd places. From in crates, to *ugh* bathrooms. There is no cool down to this thrum form due to her persistent training and her job exploiting this new found talent.

Who knew so much would happen around something that seemed to simple. Twas like the Twelve had decided to sprinkle their mischief around the world for any who entered this trap full of allure. Suri was not only excited but shocked when she received two letters while she worked at her Limsan clothing shop. One a invitation for a royal ball in Ul'dah. Nonesense, She wasn't a citizen any longer but there was a reason. The second was a letter from Master Rose himself. He had selected master weavers for their skills and were asked to represent the guild. Shockingly not only was there names on the list she recognized but her name was on it as well.
Her hands shook. AYE! The time has come. The time for her to show the world her skills. Mayhaps she couldn't paint the world with her songs but a bolt of cloth was just as effective. What shocked her more were the orders that poured into her shop. People scrambling to her doors to look amazing. She never felt so happily in all her days as she took each client and did her best to weave her magic. Each a king or queen in their own right. Though she should have turned one person away. A loud commotion drew her ear as she drank her usual rum and nibbled on a small treat. She should have fled the tavern as a Roe, with alarming manners entered the tavern. Her eyes shrew causing Suri's caution instantly. Her first instinct was to kill the woman though she gritted her teeth. Nay. Suri wanted a life of peace. Liana and her both no longer wanted to murder for no reason. Mayhaps with coin they would consider it but they both wanted to live normal for once.
The Roe demanded to find Suri, Suri pretended to be a boring, empty headed rich woman. Truely with Suri's rich garb the Roe accepted this. "Stupid woman" Suri had slipped away but what shocked her was the crowd this woman drew. So many civilians and even mercenaries alike worried for a lass they didn't know. Through gritted teeth, Suri swore but approached the Roe, Twas Artorias though that unmasked her quickly infront of the strange brash Roe. Suri though accepted the fate and wasn't convinced in the least this woman wanted Suri to make her a outfit for the ball. In the end she did as she was told. Creating the outfit for the Roe was a chore but twas done. And as expected the Roe offered Suri a 'job'. Suri huffed though told the woman she would answer later.
At the ball Suri dodged the attention she oddly drew. Feeling overwhelmed, she desperately hoped a certain Elezen was there, mayhaps masked even. Sadly he had not come...and Suri found herself with Artorias following her wake and a over flirtatious Miqo'te named Lambert. The Roe though had managed to pull her away from both males attention and demanded Suri's answer. She hated this more then anything. Hated being forced in any way. The Roe asked Suri to lure Kayah out while offering Natalie in exchange. Suri could kill the lover that Kayah chose over Suri. Suri's heart ached, Her eyes narrowing and she quickly agreed. Though as she left and felt the pressure removed she wavered. Natalie stupidly appeared asking Suri about what happened between them both. Twisting the blades in her heart. Truely Natalie wanted that death. Suri staggered away finding once again Artorias and Lambert. Both men escorted her down to eat and both took turns in dancing with her. There Suri decided ...no matter how upsetting Natalie was....C'kayah loved her. With a heavy heart Suri dragged Artorias with her to the airship dock. She has tossed all linkshell pearls in her purse not wanting to hear.
While Artorias stumbled over words, trying to express his feelings, Kage(a lalafell loyal to natalie) appeared to tell Suri that C'kayah was attacked. Rage boiled faster in her blood that she couldn't control it. She stormed out, screaming over the linkshell to this stupid Roe that it was war. Artorias followed Suri and both quickly geared for war. What they didn't expect was the bandit would strike first. Suri and Artorias almost won but were over come and Suri was dragged to their hideout. There Suri was tortured for her 'betrayal' of backing out of the plan AND telling Kage about the Roe. Suri was tossed on the side of the road with a jar of water and two sticks to use for crutches. Shockingly something bolted Suri back to life, Her eyes focusing on a man she thought didn't care for her. Juste over used his own powers to heal Suri then carry her off for better healing. She could have almost weeped. She was so over joyed and was certain he was not real. Masking her feelings though, she accepted him carrying her to safety while at the same time memorizing his scent for all time. Aye...no matter what she was always to weak in this man's presence and felt her heart fall deeper for him. Though her time in his presence would not last. Once she could walk she ran from his side as well as Artorias's who was also healing. Artorias followed her though.
Artorias stayed by her side since the ball, regardless of Suri's many attempts to push him away. Fear tightening around her heart the longer he stayed. Soon she realized her fate. No matter what Artorias said she was sure she would die. She refused to listen to any orders this bandit leader told her, and she had confessed her crimes to Kage, surely she would be hanged. In deep sadness she told those she cared for goodbye. Though what shook her to her knees was telling Juste goodbye. After this Artorias when to Ul'dah to check on Julius, a friend in great need. She followed him though made a small stop at the thaumaturge guild. She smiled slowly taking a book. She always borrowed from them and they allowed it. Though this time she would make it her last. She felt guilty for taking it and knowing she won't return it but ...she felt she had no choice. Making her way back she looked for Artorias in the Quicksand. Her heart leapt into her throat as she spied Juste. He should not see her. There she hide and watched him. She should be looking for Artorias but........
Like a foolish moth to a flame, She followed the Elezen. He kindly helped a Miqo'te male, healing him and she shameless listened against the walls. She learned Juste had a love once. And it sounded as if he wouldn't love because of this person. Suri bite her lip understanding this all to well. She didn't know what had happened but felt her heart heavily drop. She watched Juste leave and felt her sigh escape her lips. Was she foolish in thinking she would wait for him? With her guard down and distracted by thoughts of Juste, she jumped when one of the bandit's henchmen appeared asking for a audience with her. Figures...Upon meeting she learned the woman wanted a truce. Odd, Suri never considered herself a threat and was amused. Sadly the Roe threatened to kidnap or torture her friends. Suri's heart frosted over with disgust and the words slipping from her lips shook Suri to the core. "I'd kill them all before you even touch a hair on their heads. Pick a new threat, Roe." The cold truth that she would do such a thing shook her. She was a monster.
Sadly Artorias was greatly injured in a battle against Julius, and Suri dragged him to saftely. Her cold words echoing in her head. How could she want to willingly kill Artorias and Juste? Monster is what she was. She tucked Artorias's unconscious body at the Quicksand with a heavy heart and returned to Limsa. There she performed the ritual, against her sister's wishes. There Suri turned her body into a Aetheric bomb. Her aether becoming unstable and not only slowly tearing her apart, but her sister's soul as well. The plan, to lure this bandit and anyone else following her out in the middle of no where, then release the surprising weapon. Flawless. A surprise for sure. Suri thought it amazingly clever. The one thing she didn't count on was Artorias coming to stop her. He brought help as well as a lalafell mage Suri was shocked to see. With the combined efforts of other mages, Suri was defused though it was only neutralized. Currently Suri is in healing. Most of her aether drained. Her magical aetheric seals were capped to create stabilization. Sadly her sister took the worst of it, having almost been torn apart and now lays dormant in her sister. Oliwat, the wise mage, warned Suri that she must stay away from high aetheric areas, for they may reactivate the unstable bomb properties. Would seem Suri will be this way forever.

Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Theme song: Bad apple (English trans) or Bad apple (Music box Edition..when she is sad)
Theme song Lyrics:
Ever on and on I continue circling
With nothing but my hate in a carousel of agony
Till slowly I forget and my heart starts vanishing
And suddenly I see that I can't break free--I'm
Slipping through the cracks of a dark eternity
With nothing but my pain and the paralyzing agony
To tell me who I am, who I was
Uncertainty enveloping my mind
Till I can't break free, and
Maybe it's a dream; maybe nothing else is real
But it wouldn't mean a thing if I told you how I feel
So I'm tired of all the pain, of the misery inside
And I wish that I could live feeling nothing but the night
You can tell me what to say; you can tell me where to go
But I doubt that I would care, and my heart would never know
If I make another move there'll be no more turning back
Because everything will change, and it all will fade to black
Will tomorrow ever come? Will I make it through the night?
Will there ever be a place for the broken in the light?
Am I hurting? Am I sad? Should I stay, or should I go?
I've forgotten how to tell. Did I ever even know?
Can I take another step? I've done everything I can
All the people that I see I will never understand
If I find a way to change, if I step into the light
Then I'll never be the same, and it all will fade to white
If I make another move, if I take another step
Then it all would fall apart. There'd be nothing of me left
If I'm crying in the wind, if I'm crying in the night
Will there ever be a way? Will my heart return to white?
Can you tell me who you are? Can you tell me where I am?
I've forgotten how to see; I've forgotten if I can
If I opened up my eyes there'd be no more going back
'Cause I'd throw it all away, and it all would fade to black
