History

Born into Ul'dah with no family to speak off, Flynn grew up in the rough parts of the city located in the Steps of Thal. To survive he would often steal money from the rich folk. He would also do chores for the stall owners to earn food and sleep on the streets. At a young age he was almost caught stealing and bumped into two other kids, Lorric and M'risha, who he later became close friends with. For the next few years they occasionally played together searching for adventure.

At the age of 18, two years after the calamity, Flynn joined the Immortal Flames as a Brass Blade. One day he set out on a mission with three others and returned alone. A fight broke out over who would claim the treasure they'd found. The other three planned to take it for themselves and retire but Flynn wanted to use it to help the refugees. During the fight the treasure had accidentally been tossed into the ocean. The three of them blamed Flynn and tried to kill him but they were no match. Flynn fought for his life and used every advantage he could to survive. He left the Brass Blades and received compensation, using what he earned to purchase his own apartment.

Flynn now spends his time back in the Steps of Thal living alone, eagerly waiting to have a real adventure with his childhood friends.

Personality

Growing up in the rough neighborhood turned Flynn into a bit of a rebel. He is a laid-back person, blunt, kind but doesn't express it very well. He likes a good laugh and causes trouble for the local militia.
