After pasting, replace the template text with your character's rumour, and the 'Character Name Here' text with your character's name (leaving the square brackets intact will make the name a clickable link to that character's profile page). And that's it! Save the page and your rumour should appear. Don't sweat the weird preview formatting; the page will render normally after it's saved.

RI. Romantic Interest

Emotional investment, affection, and attachment. Middling scores may reflect growing closeness or a familial relationship. A score of 5 suggests strong desire for a romantic relationship (or that one already exists).

PA. Physical Attraction

Sexual interest and willingness to engage physically. Middling scores may reflect developing attraction, or objective appreciation of beauty without sexual interest. A score of 5 suggests an attraction so strong that the individual's mere presence is arousing.

FR. Friendship

Amicable sentiment. Middling scores may reflect developing or casual friendship. A score of 5 suggests close friendship. Look to corresponding values in RI, PA, and EN for perspective on the nature of a deep or complex friendship.

EN. Enmity

Adversarial sentiment. Middling scores may reflect some friction in an otherwise positive relationship. A score of 5 suggests strong aversion, and possibly even hatred or revulsion.

AV. Ambition Value

Usefulness in the pursuit of ambitions. Middling scores may reflect a means to an end, such as an individual who could be manipulated or petitioned to open the path toward a given goal. A score of 5 suggests an individual who can directly furnish an aspiration, such as the guardian of a desired object or knowledge.

NPC Rumours

Your character may have overheard these rumours directly from the NPCs who spread them, or as secondhand information. Take note: these rumours may not be entirely true! Some NPCs are fond of speculation, exaggeration, and hyperbole.

Common rumours are easily overheard and can be used freely in RP. Uncommon rumours are a bit tougher to come by, so use them sparingly or ask first. Want something even juicier? Ask the player for a rare rumour crafted just for you!

PC Rumours

Your character may have heard one of these rumours directly from another player's character... or maybe your character is the one spreading the gossip! As with NPC rumours, their veracity can't be guaranteed - but given that they come directly from the mouths of player characters, the odds of them being honest are a bit higher!

Want to add a rumour from your character? Click here to begin.

To add a new PC rumour, first copy the following code block:

<!-- RUMOUR ENTRY BEGINS -->
{| cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0"
! style="font-size: 34pt; opacity: 0.4; vertical-align: top;"| ❝
| <div style="margin: 0px 8px 0px;">
"This is a template. Replace this text with your rumour."
<br/><font style="font-family: Georgia, Palatino, serif;">
'''⚞ [[Character Name Here]]'''
</font></div>
! style="font-size: 34pt; opacity: 0.4; vertical-align: bottom;"| ❠
|}
<!-- RUMOUR ENTRY ENDS -->
Edit Link Location
Next, edit the page and paste that code beneath the existing rumours. It's easiest to use the Edit link found next to the tabs (as shown to the right), because that will show only the Rumours tab HTML, making the PC Rumours section much easier to find!

"There's no finer male of worth from here to the Empire itself. Polite, compassionate, honorable..." She trailed off before giving a little smile. "Then again, I suppose I'm biased."
