Basic Info

Athe Baros is ambiguous in every sense of the word. Little is known about the androgynous Highlander, spread in pieces between a handful of people, and even less is known about just how honest the answers are. Though they claim to hail from Ala Mhigo, the forced-sounding neutral accent seems to hint otherwise-- or at least that they weren't associated with any of their displaced kin after the fall. They stand at five fulm eight ilms, straddling the line between Highlander and Midlander; however the hint of muscle tone, strong features and confident stride leaves most assuming the former. Their hair is frequently dyed and changed, typically conforming to a deep red, purple, or stark white, the latter of which is claimed to be their natural color.

History

Any enterprising sort who looks into the Hyur's past may discover that a female Ala Mhigan mercenary bearing the same name and under the Immortal Flames' payroll went missing and was presumed dead during Operation Archon, only to reappear in Ul'dah half a cycle later without claiming their pay for the battle. Since then, Athe has registered and been accepted for a scantly used bounty hunter's license and has become an addition to Ul'dah's leve roster.

Personality

Despite their enigmatic nature, Athe seems to be passably sociable. While nobody would consider them the heart of a party, it seems their effort spent forcing themselves into social situations is paying off, and their frosty demeanor has thawed noticeably. Although a penchant for dry humor mixed with their vaguely sadistic nature can sometimes cause uncomfortable misunderstandings.
