Character

General

Enova is a well brought up, twenty-something, urban Keeper hailing originally from the lush forests of Gridania. For the past 3 years she's been an honored student in the City of Gridania, dedicating the majority of her time to her studies. Concerning her schooling, she is majoring in restoration, biology, meta-physical sciences and more specifically, specializing in the symbiotic relationships between life forces/energies of Eorzea. Being in her final year now, it is assumed she will be soon be recruited into either the Adder's military or development division and much to her protesting, she will likely accept fearing the alternatives.

((Note: It's worth mentioning here that I have a lot more planned for Enova in the near future. Being new to the game I'm still finding my grounds and working on building connections with other players through direct interactions, organizations, plot arcs etc. Enova is something of a blank canvas at the moment, therefore her backstory and personal development this far is brief and simple. As time goes along I plan to build her into something much more. I look forward to RPing with you all!))

Appearance

Standing at an average 5'4” and a light 109 ponz, Enova is petite as most Miq'ote female are. Her skin is a pale milky white. Her cream-colored hair falls just above mid back and is usually kept down or braided. The most noticeable feature about Enova is her strikingly red eyes especially in stark contrast with her pale skin. She lacks any evident scaring or apparent physical disability, her eye-sight however benefits from the visual aid of reading glasses when in daylight. Enova keeps herself well dressed at almost all times, she is generally modest with her features and is occasionally helped along by her sister's ever evident criticism and eye for the latest fashion trends.

Personality

Enova by nature is kind-hearted, well-spoken and exudes innocence in almost all initial interactions. She is social and situational based depending on the individual(s). In a small crowd she is most comfortable. In a larger crowd she will seek out smaller familiar groups or individuals just outside a gathering. Around males she can be exceptionally entertaining in her very apparent lack of experience one on one with the opposite sex. Like most girls her age, flattery is appreciated but anything in excess generally turns her away. At a more deeper level, she secretly fears a life of solitude and any type of physical or mental harm. She adores being surrounded by friends, family and peers who adore and care for her well being. In her quieter moments she finds her elaborate imagination shifting to the darker side of things, she suffers from spiraling tendencies of depression and will do almost anything to avoid these undesired “quiet moments” before they manifest themselves into her current emotional reality. To combat this she reads almost religiously in all her private moments, never liking to be alone with her thoughts for too long.

Combat

General

Enova has little to no current training in physical combat. Her adept talent in restoration apparent in her studies could easily translate to the battlefield at a later age, just as they did for her mother. Enova's mother, Halo Sahn, served and still serves in the Gridania militia, specializing in high intensity restoration and battlefield tactics. Her mother was also present at the Battle of Carteneau During the battle Enova was still considered a child and was entrusted to the care of her father, Nel H'al whom at the time had taken shelter far from Carteneau in one of the evacuating Miq'ote tribes.

Enova has a genuine interest in Archery for sport, but is not confident using it for combat/killing.

♥ Arrelaine Fashonti: Enova's Half-Sister (Father's side) and best friend. "Arry" as Enova calls her big sister, is several years older than Enova. The two were united the year following the calamity, neither knowing the other had a sister. Since then the two have been virtually inseparable, often seen together at every event or gathering they attend together. Like most sisters, they bicker constantly - especially when it comes to boys. Arrelaine watches out for her little sister the best she can, making sure she keeps to her studies and is Eno's sole support crew for almost every and any dilemma she comes across in her adventures. In return Enova adores and looks up to her sister, almost sometimes as the "motherly" role model that she never really had.

● Halo Sahn: Enova's Mother. There is some resentment between Enova and he mother. As a child, Eno was in her own words "all but abandoned" once the pre-events of the calamity became evident. Since then, she's been very distant from her mother. Enova's mother is a talented restorations officer in the Gridania militia and was present at the Battle of Carteneau. She is an esteemed figure within the militia and highly respected, being so - some of her respect and expectations have been passed to her daughter. It has been 2 years since Enova has seen or had a decent conversation of any length with her mother.
