"WATCH OUT!"

A female voice echo'd through out the rocky path somewhere in Eastern La Noscea. Scouting crew ahead with faces of horror looking back at him, the little Jojo's world seemed to move ever so slowly. Events of his life flashed before his eyes before everything going black. Through an absolute vision, the same female voice can be heard muffled as if coming from a hallway. "Jojo? JOJO! JOJO! PLEASE... DON'T DO THIS TO US! PLEASE WAKE UP! PLE-" As the muffled voice seemed to fade, Jojo found himself in what it seemed to be a black, never ending Abyss. Taking a look around, the small Lalafell sighed, taking his first step forward.

An hour which seemed like an eternity had passed before the poor Lalafell fell to his knees almost on the urges of giving up. As his knees hit the black surface, and flash would appear right before his eyes. "NGH!" Jojo grunted as feathers seemed to form from the Bright light at the ends of the light trails. Picking himself up to his feet, the Lala looked around in amazement. The room had completely turned itself from an endless black hole to a bright blue sky with what it seemed an ocean that he could stand on underneath his feet. The beauty mesmerized the little Jojo. Pulling his attention down to his feet, the yellow eye'd Lalafell stared back at himself in his own reflection before taking another glance around and then up at the light blue sky yet again.

A moment after sitting there staring at the sky, a figure in the distance fell from the sky. Squinting, Jojo managed to see a figure of another being fall. In complete worry for their safety, the yellow eye'd Lala ran as fast as he could before holding out his book, screaming at the top of his lungs, "PROTECT!" The words echo'd despite being no walls around. Before his eye, multiple colors of all sorts came from the book in hand, the figure forming a barrier around it's body before hitting the water. Running over toward the person now, the figure became more and more familiar. "Lulu?! Oh no..." It seemed as if the barrier helped some of the impact but not entirely. Dropping to his knees, Jojo held out his hands, feeling for a pulse. Desperately, the little Lalafell stood up, constantly trying to heal the wounds of the now lifeless body of his best friend back in the Arcanist's Guild. After over thirty tries, Jojo dropped to his knees yet again, laying his head on her chest, tears running down his eyes. "This can't be happening... Please come back to me..." The last few words echo'd along the area before one voice repeated. "Please come back to me..." Then another. "Please come back to me..." Multiple voices now hovered repeating the same thing above the yellow eye'd Lala. "Stop it... Stop repeating me..." Ran through Jojo's head. "Please come back to me..." Multiple voices kept echoing. Not able to take it anymore, in anger, the Lala screamed up into the sky. "STOOOOOOOP!" The room went dead silent.

Opening his eyes after screaming, Jojo looked down to see no familiar body. Hovering above him now were different spirits on what it seemed to be different Primals of different worlds, all with different colors. "Come now, my child... Must you be so hard on yourself? It wasn't your fault." A calming female's voice would come from the mouth of a light blue spirit with long hair. "Must you dwell on the death you have no use of preventing however hard you try?" Yet another deep, masculine voiced red spirit added. "Awaken now, little one. Awaken." As the word was said, all the others joined in yet again together. "Awaken. Awaken. Awaken. Awaken." Confused and scared, the little Jojo watched as the area he was in once filled with water and a clear beautiful sky had quickly shifted into more of a demonic world. Fire lit up just around the edge of the spirits as the sky clouded with a dark purple and red hue. The voices continued. In a panic, the yellow eye'd Lala took a step back before taking a step along an edge. "EH?! NO. NONONO. NOOOOO!" Jojo's voice echo'd as he fell. Opening his eyes as he began to fall into yet another black abyss, the Lalafell watched as the spirits stood above watching him fall on a small square water platform.

"You think he's ever going to wake up?" One deep masculine voice familiar from the spirit before asked. "We can only hope." Yet another familiar calming female's voice replied. "Nnngh..." Jojo grunted under his breath. "Jojo? JOJO?! GET THE HEAD MASTER! JOJO IS ALIVE!" In and out or reality, the Lalafell opened his eyes slightly in a squint. The room seemed blurry at first. Three figures can be seen through his blurry vision. "Huh...? Where am I...?" The yellow eye'd Lala muttered. "Oh thank the gods you're alive..." The female voice exclaimed. The blurriness fading away, Jojo watched as three others just seemed to be so joyed to see him there. "Who...? Are you people...? What is this horrible feeling...?" With his small head running to the back of his head, Jojo was stopped immediately by a grey haired Elezen. "Not now, my son. You need to rest and let that heal." Jojo slowly but surely rested his small hand back onto his lap again above the bed sheets. "Who... Am I?" Jojo's tone of voice sounded helpless as he asked the question. Before he knew it, the same body from his recent dream rushed into the room immediately. Tears in her eyes, the little Lala ran as fast as she could before jumping onto the bed, wrapping her arms around Jojo, just weeping in pure happiness. "H-Hi Lulu..." Jojo smiled.

A year passed. The Arcanist Guild assigned Lulu to help try to regain Jojo's lost memory the best she could. With his new found major memory loss, Jojo's identity was lost completely in his head. Jojo's personality completely changing into one that was always happy and found the littlest things such as hats the most interesting. Despite so many other students addressing him as his actual name, he never replied. He would always continue his practices until someone poked him on the shoulder. Until one day. The head Janitor of the Guild asked out loud, "Where in the Seven Hells is that damned Mop..." Immediately looked the little Jojo. "Hi, that's me! How can I help you?" The immediate cheery response left the old grey haired Janitor's jaw dropped. "HEADMASTER!" The old geezer went running.

From that day on forward, Jojo lived under a completely new persona, Mop. No one really seemed to mind, the yellow eye'd Lalafell was extremely nice and never gave anyone a problem. With his Carbuncle Companion that he named, "Jojo" the young Mop lives his life easily, making it a job in his mind to go out every day after his studies to help overs the best he can. Let it be fixing their watches, cleaning a scratch off their weapon, stitching their hat's tear, you name it. Mop does it.

Notable Features

Notable Features

Common Appearance: Standing at 3'1" and 97 pounds, Mop is the average Dunesfolk that has little to no muscle. Facial features consist of freckles with a darker toned nose. His eyes are light yellow and seem to resemble as if his mind was off somewhere else.

Personality: Fun loving, energetic little guy with a VERY low attention span. Nothing makes Mop happier than making people smile and fixing problems. Despite not remember who he is, Mop oftenly likes to go around town capitals and give people compliments.

Clothing: Winning a Goblin hat at a festival hosted in Limsa Lominsa years back, Mop prefers to wear the floppy eared brown hat. Little to no reason why he likes the hat so much, he just really seems to like it. For garb, Mop doesn't seem to have a sense of fashion. He wears whatever is handed too him as long as the color looks, "Neat".

Ever since they've met at the age of 12 in the Arcanist Guild; Lulu has always seemed to taking a major liking to Mop. Mop and Lulu always seemed to do everything together. Go to festivals, study together, train together, you name it. Before Mop was even the way he was today, Lulu seemed to fall for him. He was one of the first boys to even give her the time of day. All through out her life, she grew up with 4 older brothers, but due to the way Mop is, he always stood up for her when he felt they were being a bit too mean.

Even til' this day, Lulu seems to love Mop despite him not remembering much. Whenever she looks into his eyes, she can always see the one Jojo that she feel for all the years ago.
