I had always wanted her to have this tapestry of scars across her body that told a story of all the stuff she'd been through. It was to draw into the story about her blackouts and losing entire companies worth of people and being the only survivor surrounded in bodies and blood. More than anything, it's a bit of a nod to the fact that she often is heard saying "Scars are just a reminder that something tried to kill you and failed." because most of hers really should have been lethal.

She died for a bit, but never lost that spark for life... but in the end, she is a fighter and she is battle born, so it seemed fitting. | |
