She has lived a great part of her life as a simple card turner, whether it be sleight of hand magic tricks or actual divining, a practice that has landed her in hot water more than times than she can count. Recently, M'ara has found a home within the established family of banking elezens - the Ishgardian House de Vieri. M'ara claims the title of Lord Anthony de Vieri's Divining Advisor. ☾ APPEARANCE ☽ M'ara lacks stature, with a slender frame that barely boasts curvature. The clan divergence scars the mutt, mutating her eyes in favor of Seeker aesthetic. Her left eye retains diurnal attributes whilst her right mocks its companion with nocturnal shading. Her cropped hair, contained by silver clasps, also varies in color. The frayed tips of her small ponytails darken the closer they edge to the fresh split. Her full lips curl into knowing smiles that reveal elongated fangs, carried by her father. Her skin surprisingly remains dusty, adding ambiguity to her origins. Painted markings run the course of her full cheeks, enhancing the feline characteristics of her eyes. Fanciful in dress, M'ara spares no expense when it comes to display. To attract customers, M'ara retains a mystical appearance to her wardrobe. She is always clothed in loose-fitting silks that dance in her proud gait's wake. Copious amounts of chains, jewels, baubles, and satchels hang from everywhere on her body. Her belt frees her front from clutter, allowing the cut of her himation to flow freely. Divining decks, prayer beads, various dyes, dusts, and phials make up the contents of her rump's satchel hoard. The soles of her leather thigh-high boots are inconspicuously sloped to add much-needed height to her. ★ PERSONALITY ★ M'ara is a divergent soul, whose selfish wishes impede social growth. She yearns for connection, yet protests when people attempt to befriend her. Sociability directly correlates to her gil-making abilities, which has forced M'ara to create a fantasy persona to entice customers. She plays the role of the auspicious entertainer whose mysticism draws everyone in around her. She seeks to capture hearts through a physical display and not emotional bonds. Outside of her line of work, M'ara sorely lacks in friends due to her reserved nature. Ostracized from both sides of her family, M'ara is naturally doomed to travel alone. Deep within her callous core, there sleeps a heartstring of honesty and generosity that tugged by the right words. She is a sucker for poetry and the weaving of beautiful words. As such, M'ara often finds herself lost in her collection of poetry books. She secretly enhances her poetry ability when performing divine readings for Ul'dah customers, adding to her facade's mystique.
