Rhaya'lo is a sociable, flighty sort of man. Always laughing, no matter how inappropriate it is in a given situation. While generally a relaxed and easy-going person, he will give people as much shit as they give him. He doesn't take most relationships seriously. Often times, he may overstep boundaries without realizing. He can be rather petty towards people who he's decided are undesirable, but doesn't typically go out of his way to make someone miserable. He tends to avoid problems if he can, rathering to remove himself from uncomfortable situations than confront them - then gossip about them later. He considers his own emotional outbursts and investments to be petty.

One of his and Tikvah's 9 older sisters. She was severely wounded during the events of the Calamity, and has assumed a quiet life in Gridania since.

The twin's aunt, they've lived with her most of their time in Ul'dah, and deal with her regularly. Rhaya'lo thinks she's lost her mind and hates her presence.

He died a year ago due to illness at the age of ten. In life, he was a curious and snippy boy, always with his hands where they shouldn't be.

₪ To Ul'dah

After almost burning down the family home, Rhaya'lo and his sister were sent to Ul'dah to live with their aunt. There, Rhaya'lo - as his vision deterioration had seemingly stabilized - was expected to study Thaumaturgy, then return home. They were sent with a small trunk of their belongings and a pair of young Chocobo named Ori and Apple Juice (AJ).

Trivia

₪ His blindness is the result of Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP). He can still see bright sources of light and vague silhouettes in brightly-lit rooms, but is otherwise completely blind.

₪ He does not retain visual memory of most things. The only colours he truly remembers are Purple, Blue, and Yellow, as they continue to flash at the edges of his peripheries.

₪ Blessed with massive reserves of latent Aether, Rhaya'lo would make an excellent offensive unit... If he weren't plagued by constant headaches and easily susceptible to Aether Sickness as a result.

₪ He cannot use Aetherytes without becoming immensely ill, even over short distances. Please don't make him do it.

₪ He loves books, though he can't read them himself unless written in braille.

₪ Rhaya'lo can write, though it's a bit sloppy and lopsided.
