Starving and desperate for a meal, the young Miqo'te took to petty crime and pickpocketing to manage while looking for a place to belong. One particular attempt let him caught red-handed by [[Bastian Greywolf]] in the food stores of the docked Roaring Rhotano. Bastian took pitty on Seto before presenting a petition to the ship's captiain [[Glazisil Tofftylwyn]] that Seto become a crew member. Since Glazisil was still building her crew from the last voyage, she quickly approved the request at the behest of Bastian, her First Mate, and took a quick liking to Seto.

For the next six years, Seto grew up on the seas, learning a number of skills under the watching eye of Bastian. The man taught Seto how to fish, cook, and after a scuffle with another pirate crew, taught Seto how to fight as a rogue, gifting him a pair of vamper's knives they had picked up in a recent treasure haul. During a stormy night at sea, the crew struggled to navigate through the harsh waves that battered the ship. Taking to the mast to look out over waves, Seto was able to guide the crew to safety, earning him the position of Navigator by Glazisil.

From exploring the seas, looking for treasure and battling with rivals, Seto relished under the guidance of both Captain and First Mate, becoming an intergral part of the Roaring Rhotano#s crew. This wasn't without concequences as his name started to travel.
| ||

When he caught the figure of a man making a dash for him, he took off, bolting through Hawker's Alley and towards the dock, hoping to lose his stalker in the crowd. He was successful, but confided into Glazisil about the event. She in turn asked him not to tell Bastian as she knew her First Mate would only cause trouble at the docks looking for this figure.

A few days past without any event with Seto keeping close to the crew at all times. But this didn't keep him safe. When he found his crew mate, Dunstan knocked unconcious while they were carrying crates to the Fisher's Bottom, Seto came face-to-face with the man from the markets. A Miqo'te weilding a katana, the man cornered Seto with the blade towards his throat, his dull yellow eyes piercing into as he studied Seto. As fear filled his system, Seto hunted for an escape until he noticed [enter what Seto notices].

| ||

+ | ::
With his past catching up to him, Seto knew he had a choice ahead of him which path he wanted to take. Where as his sense of adventure was out rolling in the waves with Glazisil and Bastian, he couldn't deny that his heart missed home and that the years on the sea and made him realise the pain he must have caused from abandoning his responsibilities. After a discussion with Glazisil and Bastian, Seto ultimately decides to return home with Nobu being his escort.

Reaching the Peaks after a few long days of travel, Nobu realizes they are being followed. When the two of them reach Goodblade they are ambushed by another group of Bounty Hunters, led by Temujin Moks, a rival of Nobu's. out to claim the bounty for Seto themselves. Ordering their mark to run, Seto refuses to leave Nobu's side, and the two of them defend against Temujin's attack. As Nobu manages to strike his rival down, the Au'Ra vows revenge before fleeing. Seto demands an explanation from Nobu who reluctantly explains the price for Seto's capture and return to Garlemald.

| ||

This has influenced his decision to return Seto to the Lochs instead of Garlemald. Seto wasn't happy at the news of the bounty on him, but accepted the hardships of Garlean occupation drove people to desperate ways to survive.
| ||

Thanking Nobu, Riseh offers payment and asks Nobu to stay a few days to celebrate the return. Unexpectedly welcomed, Seto finds relief to be back home, though it only takes a few days for rumours and whisperings to surround his return. Upon venturing out of the walls, Seto is attacked and narrowly escapes a run in from a Ananta hailing from the Vira tribe.

Calling for both Seto and Nobu, Riseh explains that with his son missing, rivals have tried various different methods to fold the business, from assassination on Riseh himself to attacks on the supply deliveries on route. The routes have been made secure with agreed support from the Garleans but they do not have the same value on the business itself, only caring for the goods. Riseh believes the Garleans would be happy for anyone to take up the supplies and saw no value on who it was. With Seto being the heir to the business, Riseh makes a proposal to Nobu to become a personal bodyguard to Seto and protect him from any would-be harm, making a promise of a steady wage, an apartment, and provisions to help him in his duty. Nobu accepts the arrangement.

At Riseh's request, Seto took up duties to intergrate himself back in with the workers and suppliers. His father's faith in him however was not enough to sway that of others. The lack of faith in Seto's ability to lead the business lead to him receiving the nickname The Desert Prince. It was a cruel play on words, derived from Seto's desertion of his duties at seventeen, the emptiness of the Lochs and that without the Supply Routes, the business and it's people would be left with nothing.
| ||
