Character
♦ General
Tynos is a self called Historian. He spent his early years on the edges of Eorzea deep underground with most of his kind, raiding small camps, and living off the land. He lived that way out of not knowing there was another way. He looks back at those time and regrets those wasted efforts, for soon he found a small cache of ancient Allagan technology that reacted to his innate magics. He hid there after the raids learning how to use magic, but there was an accident. While looking through and trying the different rituals one was linked to the void. A lord class voidsent crashed out and connected with the boy and started to corrupt his aether. Thankfully the necklace that he wore was able to blow out the connection to aether so he did not control his body. But the feeling of lack of control for those few minutes was something that Tynos still has gotten over so many years ago. When he learned just how powerful his people once were he could no longer be quiet. He called the elders of the conclave out and pleaded his case to them about searching for more of these caches and finding out the true meaning to his people instead of simply raiding innocents. The hope in is his eyes was dashed as the elders call him out for heresy knowing that those ideas would be the end of their power, his father and soon to be father in law part of it they sentenced him to death for treason. His friends and adopted brother Nevil Riller, were not even allowed to come to the hearing only those loyal to the council. They all said he killed for power and kept things hidden for the sake of his own power. He lost all of his friends, and his family. He started to run near the middle of the trial knowing he would be put to death if he did not get out of there, a chase ensued and then a battle. His father was the first to strike,but Tynos had fought him for years, he dodged his blow and slammed the side of his axe into his face shattering bone as his father fell back knocked out, only for Nevil to see this he fired two arrows into nevils shoulder. Tynos ran bleeding knowing he could not fight them but not before his brother ran him through with a spear through his left shoulder. Tynos panicked and in doing some the reflex of his raiding years came out and his brothers head fell beside him. The horror of the act made the entire conclave quiet as he felt blood as he did so, a halberd was sticking into him. It was half way through his torso as he felt blood come out of his mouth in response to the pain. He looked to the side to see his fiance with eyes colder then Ice, He never really cared for the woman it was arranged but the look of disgust and hatred, It was terrible, He knew the truth would come from him, but the idea that this happened, He was still coming to terms with the end of his life as he fell down stumbling off the bridge into the water below. A week later his eyes opened once again as he was in a damp cave with a camp around him, only a single child sitting there fishing in the river next to him. The elezen tried to get up but was too injured too as the child turned to him. He was a lalafell, with the longest beard he had ever seen, a light blue robe with a black mages hate, he wore sandals and had a staff on his back. After they talked for a bit Tynos learned he was part of the company of heroes for a time, Expert on the void and Magic theory. They spent many days talking about what he had found before they finally went to the cache together once Tynos had recovered and took what they could. The old man never even told him his name but told of him of a man in uldah that could use his help and said to come with him. He packed up what he could and followed the small fellow, Nothing else to do and faith in his own kind dashed. This is where he stayed for 10 years,studying the arts and learning much more of past magics and soon was quite knowledgeable on such subjects and loved it. He soon left in good company back to gridinia where a friend soon invited him to a place to study in peace, The Blades of Azeyma under a small lalafell named Sasai Sai, Who was someone who he knew on and off with another small lalafell who was his main merchant, named Fifiton. He joined them to earn enough money for a personal house, and a place for him to set up a personal lab instead of the inn rooms that he left looking like a museum. But soon he became plagued with ideas and missed the shroud in the goblet, Fifiton and Sai both had gone on an expedition so he ended up joining a small trading guild that Alpon forced onto him. It was a small place in the corner of the Beds. He has set up a library there and works as second in command there. You can find him often in his room or out near the falls up the street a book in hand, and a red headed miqote often with him. His library is open most days and he is more then happy to talk to people about his theories on allag and how it affects the world around them.

Combat
Magic Combat: He is decent with most mid to high level THM spells as well as Freeze and Manawall from his black mage connections.
Physical Combat: He was once known for his axe-play in his younger days, Using his skinnier body against the large males of his conclave he was able to use their weight against them as he used the axe more of an anchor to the ground rather then a weapon, His hand to hand fighting and brawling is also no joke, Though it is a bit savage he fights smart using the other persons moves against them. He can also fire a bow with some skill, though he hasn't tried in a long time.
Void Connection
Void Powers: Allag Manuscript Black Magic
Description: Tynos learned magic very oddly, When he was a young boy on the outskirts of Eorzea he came across a large cache of Allag tech underground, The defenses seem to let him pass as he found many trinkets and rings that would augment his natural powers. He was able to learn how to corrupt the aether with the void very quickly, instead of how the black mages of the middle eras drew aether from the void, Making the process much slower for tynos, but much less dangerous, Though he keeps this secret very close to home, and few know it, Even in some hard spots he may not use this or fully connect to the void.
