| − | Mostly seen in the forest of Gridania, she spends very little time in the large cities, although when she does she is often complaining about the crowds and the harsh heat or cold. Although most of her tribe can be placed as playful and welcoming she isn't the type to simply smile and open her arms to a complete stranger, thus she is always on edge and never trust anyone. With a narrow view on life and the way things should be handled, this young Miqo'te is very straight forward, she will ask very awkward questions, try to pin the person down and believes very strongly in moral manners and standing. Although she was raised in the woods she can be easily confused as a city cat which she takes high offense to.

| − | Wearing normally a short blue skirt, that wont get in her way when shes moving around the city of the forest, a pair of stockings and flat shoes to match, her well tones legs of the Miqo'te are easy to show off. However, she normally is seen in a long sleeve shirt and a pair of pure white gloves, this helps her hide any scars she received during battle before coming to the city. Her hair is normally just between her shoulder blades, dark blue, with a few strands of purple that had become darker over her time of being in the large cities. Ruby red eyes and lips seem to draw all eyes towards her but this is simply a genetic trait that she doesn't find very special, in fact she wears a pair of glasses to hope to draw attention away from them.

| − | Although Miqo'te are known to be welcoming and nice, Umi is anything but. She is very hard headed, calculating, strong willed and needless to say strong headed with her beliefs. Although at times she doesn't understand outsider and ask question, they come off as cold and distant, mocking, this causes her to have a lot of enemies. Normally out and about she doesn't stay in on location for to long, with great hearing she'll stick around the city to hear rumors (although these rumors are not known to anyone else) but since her smell is much better then the normal races she never stays to long and leaves quickly after her mission is complete. With a hard work ethic left behind her, one would be surprise to find that she is rather lazy, she takes hardly anything serious and once she is done with something she normally tosses it away, people and pets included.

Her seriousness in her studies make her a powerful magic user and while not afraid to be aggressive and push her attacks, she's a reactionary fighter who plays defensive unless she has a plan in mind. Her moves are strategic and she will dodge and remain light on her feet for as long as possible or necessary. Her speed is one of her strengths and combined with her defensive tactics, she can often wear down an enemy simply with her staying power and ability to continue to fight when others have worn themselves trying to break her defenses instead of using knowledge or tricks to get past her.

If she is severely wounded, if someone she cares for is in danger, or if someone has struck a personal nerve, she can lash out in a surprisingly fiesty display.
