X'kohu Tia - Kohu to his friends - is an easygoing guy who enjoys meeting new people. Sent forth from his tribe's home in the Shroud, his goal is to master the art of arcanima before he returns. He's not going home for a long time.

Kohu is always friendly, oftentimes playful, and sometimes mischievous. It's a rarity to see him without a smile on
his face, save for when he's sleeping. He has a rough way of speaking, a mixture of his speech patterns from growing
up in the Shroud and his time spent living in Limsa Lominsa. It isn't uncommon to find him usin' a mixture of
short, curt words with a dash of flowery prose thrown in for good measure.

He is very laid back, and is easy to approach, welcoming just about anyone with open arms. It's also a rarity to see
him get angry at anything, as he is able to shrug off most verbal and physical abuse. If he ever does feel slighted
somehow, he has no qualms about 'getting even' with someone, though it's typically done so through mischief.

X'kohu has an outlook on hard work that makes many people consider him a slacker, or under-achiever. While he won't
shy away from hard work if he can see something he wants coming from it, he also thinks that everyone should have
plenty of time for themselves to use as they wish.

X'kohu is not fond of fighting, mostly because he doesn't consider himself skilled enough at it to be of use. However,
he is not a pacifist, and will use his magical abilities when he has to do so. His typical fighting style involves
healing his allies while hindering his enemies. When alone in a fight, he will do his best to summon his Topaz
Carbuncle, affectionately named "Toph."

Kohu has nothing against breaking off from a fight when he seems to be outmatched, which happens with surprising
frequency. In the event that he needs to run away, he will either have Toph distract his enemy, or choke them with
a cloud of miasma.

His magical abilities are a little bit lacking, however, and he must pace himself. Due to an accident, X'kohu runs
the risk of exhaustion and possibly collapse if he is not allowed time to have new aether flow into his body to
replace that which he spent.

((To use in-game terms, Kohu is a level 20 Arcanist and a level 10 Conjurer, using some spells from both classes.
Frequently, he will most often use Bio, Miasma, Virus, Protect, Physik, Aetherflow (he has a smaller than normal MP bar), and Summon II. What's that? Raising the
dead? Oh, they need to be only mostly dead for that.))

X'kohu grew up alongside his sister, X'raena Tsunhe, with the Lynx tribe. Living in the Shroud has given Kohu an
appreciation for the simpler things in life, as well as a strong sense of comraderie. He helped out wherever he was
needed, though was never called upon to do many strenuous or dangerous tasks, the few he has done are considered
interesting stories about himself.

Some time after Dalamud fell, the Lynx tribe had to consider their position. There would soon be a greater need for
resources as people tried to rebuild their ways of life in the Shroud, as well as new and unusual threats against
their forest home. Thus, he and his sister were sent forth on a pilgrimage to Limsa Lominsa, to study the art of
arcanima and bring this knowledge back to the Lynx.

Being away from the Shroud with only his sister made Kohu realize just how sheltered he had been. It's been a
struggle for him to catch up to his sister in terms of skill and talent, though his frequent nights spent in
the Drowning Wench haven't exactly helped. He often did odd jobs to earn money for the two of them, though it was
a small fraction of what his sister and other Lynx tribe Miqo'te did to support the siblings.

Having spent few nights at their home, Kohu's relationship with his sister became somewhat distant, compared to
their interactions while they lived in the Shroud. Feeling personally responsible for pushing her away with his
actions, Kohu has taken it upon himself to clean up his act and change himself for the better.

Mimiko is a very lovely flower of a Miqo'te. She is not very tall, in fact she is some would consider her short which adds a bit of adorableness to her looks. She is fair skinned with a few stripes on her cheeks and forehead. Her hair color is almost impossible to determine because she is constantly changing it. Mimiko is usually found wearing glasses which brings attention to her Pink and lavender eyes. But staring will only cause her to blush and look away.

Once shy and timid, Mimiko has blossomed into a radiant flower. Mimiko's experience as a bard has led her to the lifestyle as an entertainer. Mimi has gotten over her shyness rather quickly. She started out playing her mandolin and singing to close friends and eventually began performing in the streets and a few taverns of ill respect. As her popularity grew and the class of her venues grew and changed so did her flirtatiousness and forwardness. Her attire reflects her personality, she now wears very colorful, flashy and revealing clothing. Mimi is quick to laugh and easily excited about things, and always willing to have a good time. She always has her mandolin with her and is usually playing a tune on it. Mimi has never met a stranger she is friendly to almost everyone unless she is given a reason to not like them. .

Mimiko is shy in most social situations and can be usually found at many of the inns around the world. She doesn't go to the inn's to drink, she goes to them to do one of her favorite activities…people watching. While she "people watches" she likes to guess a persons profession by their appearance and comes up with a story why they chose that path. Even though she is shy, she will engage in polite conversation when approached to do so. Buried deep inside this shy Miqo'te is playful person which has been known to surface amongst friends and has gotten her into some trouble. Mimiko has a fascination Lalfel's, she finds them adorable and will pick them up at random and give them a hug which she refers to as a "Hugglepounce".

Mimiko was orphaned at a young age, too young for her to remember. She was taken in by a wealthy and powerful family of Elezen in the grand city of Gridania. Mimiko was raised in many combat arts to be a servant and protector for the Family. She was not allowed to speak to anyone unless addressed by her masters and other servants. Which leads to having a somewhat timid nature, and being cold at times. When Mimiko blossomed into a woman she was gifted to her family's youngest son as a personal protector, servant, pet and toy. Her new master was a sadistic and cruel to her, he would often torture and beat her for the smallest of imperfections. Mimiko was made to wear a collar that would punish her if her master willed it to do so, or if she knew she did something wrong. Though he had never had his way with her, some of her masters friends had shown interest in her. One day her master was being a gracious host ordered Mimiko to show his friend some hospitality. She lead him into a nearby room where she was brutally stripped and groped. The collar was getting in the way for the friend and not knowing what its true function was, removed it. Mimiko realized his mistake and quickly took her chance to escape not before she blinded the man who was trying to have his way with her. During the commotion and screaming Mimiko hastily dressed and sprang from the room coming face to face with her cruel master. He tried punishing her with the collar, shortly realizing it she was no longer wearing it he lunged for her. She was able to dodge and rolled to her lance was to be used to protect her master was now used to scar his face and cripple one of his legs. Scared, realizing what she had done she fled.

She made he way to the city of Ul'dah and managed to find refuge in one of the many taverns. She was only there a few moments when a man approached her. He was a handsome Hyur by the name of Belgorian Spellsmith, he spoke to her in a way she was not accustomed to. They spoke for a while and he invited her to join the Limsa Lominsa Gardens Academy, she gladly accepted. She has been growing and learning what its like to be something other than a servant for the first time in her life. The happiness of having a new family has made her forget of the danger that is lurking in the shadows.

Her former masters have sent trackers from their personal army to track her down and bring her back. She was ambushed by these trackers and nearly survived the attack, having to crawl to Limsa Lomisa with several arrows firmly lodged into her arm back and torso. She has recovered from this attack physically but the thought of going back frightens her. She has a tendency to wear a mask now to hide her identity. A few weeks passed by and Mimi was in Ul'dah with her fiancé when she was knocked out and taken back to her masters mansion. But only for a short amount of time, Collson and Feya was able to track Mimi's location and was able to liberate her from captivity.

*When she was younger one of the servants in secret taught Mimiko to read and write. Which she still loves to read till this day. She use to sneak books in her room or in other nooks she would find, and read when no one was around. She eventually read every book in her family's library. She tends to hide the fact she is intelligent and well read.*

Mimiko is no longer in fear of her former master searching for her due to his recent demise. Unaware to Mimi, her former master had implanted several magical items into several places throughout Mimi's body which would allow him to use her like a marionette and force her to do his bidding for short amounts of time. After which Mimi would awake with no knowledge of the events. Her former master was able to install the last magical piece when she was kidnapped only a few weeks prior. Mimi knew something was wrong when she would awaken in strange places she did not go to sleep at and missing time during the day. Mimi sought the advice of many, finally receiving a talisman that would hopefully disrupt whatever was causing her troubles. It worked to keep her from being controlled but she could now feel the pull of the magical devices inside her. With quick thinking she took advantage of this, she obeyed the pull and it led her back to her former masters estate. She was able to stroll right through the front door and all the way to her masters inner chambers where he performed all his dark experiments. Her master was unaware that she had control of herself and while his guard was down, she took her dagger and killed her master. Finally freeing herself from his grasp.

Mimiko is no longer enrolled at the Limsa Lominsa Gardens Academy due to a falling out with her fiancé . She thought it would be best so her presence would not cause any more trouble or drama amongst the students and faculty. Leaving was a rash decision for her for several reasons. The first this was the first happy home she had ever been a part of, and now she finds herself homeless again. She has been wandering the streets of Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa playing music in taverns trying to earn some extra coin while looking for a new place to call home.

fishing village from the north. Her life has been hard since the Calamity, but she is slowly working to piece it
back together and raise her station.

Coatleque tries to appear and act like a proper lady at all times. She will almost always be in uniform as this
is the only symbol she has of her current station in society. To the common man she can easily fit the role of
a knight, but to a true aristocrat her sometimes rough mannerisms and verbal slip-ups are blatantly clear. She
is still the daughter of a fisherman after all.

While on duty her purpose is clear. She acts with respect and exudes the authoritative presence one would expect
of the Sultansworn. She will avoid idle banter as well and only interject if she has a relevant point to make.
Otherwise, business is business.

On the chance that you catch her off of duty, she is shy and awkward socially. Having to see everyone else's
lives play out before her on a daily bases, she often forgets to have her own. She will only be found in a public
place if she's accompanying someone else. Even then she'll tend to stay at the edge of the crowd and try to
go unnoticed.

Behind all her pretense, Coatleque has a rather sharp mind. While she started off with nothing due to her
upbringing, the eventual life she was forced into brought great opportunity for her to learn. She taught
herself to read and write in her time alone, learned a few sensual arts such as massage, and how to speak
to the cultural elite of the city. Granted, not much of this helps in her current profession.

She knows the basics of conjuration as her first inclination upon gaining her freedom was to help others. She
met her dear friend Jancis Milburga during this time and the two became inseparable. Unfortunately she just
wasn't able to grasp some of the gentler concepts and decided to leave.

Taking up a sword, she joined the Brass Blades. She knew them as the ones who freed her from a life of forced
servitude. They knew her as the high-class whore some of them often visited years before. Unable to gain an
onze of respect among the wolves, she left to end the bullying if nothing else.

With nowhere else to turn she found herself registering at the Gladiator's guild with the mind of meeting a
quick death in the Colosseum. It turned out she had picked up the sword rather well. Very well in fact, and
quickly gained both respect and station. With new-found purpose in life and a talent she could exploit,
she did not hesitate to swear her life in service of the Sultana when given the chance. Now a member of the
Sultansworn elite, she spends her time patrolling the city and keeping the peace between her other investigations.

Coatleque will carry her longsword by her side while on duty. It is kept sharp, well oiled, and can be drawn
at a moment's notice. She will use this sword both single and two-handed as necessary, favoring either quick
defense or strong offense. She carries her shield only if brought into a campaign where a larger battle is assured.
When off-duty she will still have a small concealed dagger or gladius at the ready. Despite this she has no
love for war and will avoid mass conflicts when possible.

Coatleque shows great mastery of the longsword. She can easily pickup technique and adapt style, but she lacks
the self confidence required of an accomplished swordsman. If the fight turns against her quickly, she'll tend
to make more and more glaring mistakes. Otherwise she will fight defensively in style. She can avoid, block,
or parry most attacks, but has trouble landing her own. Her frustrations can easily get the better of her the
longer a fight draws out. (( In dice this translates to +2 on defense, and a cumulative -1 attack penalty
every round to a max of -10 on a D20, or -6 on a D10 ))

Coatleque is not wont to talk of her past history to people she doesn't know. You would be better off winning
her trust first. Otherwise, if hard-pressed she may anger and simply leave.

Coatleque is from a remote fishing village at the Southern tip of Ala'Mhigo. Born after the empire's invasion,
this technically makes her Garlean if not for location. Built on the coast, of little importance, they eked
out a meager existence far from any city. She was a typical country girl, the daughter of a fisherman, with
no special skills or talents. Her parents were in the process of arranging her to be given away to the miller's
son. A quiet life she was honestly looking forward to.

When Dalamud came raining down, a rather large chunk landed in the ocean off their coast. The resulting
tidal wave destroyed the village and swept away a majority of its inhabitants. She was only 17 at the time.
The remnants of the coast were soon raided by brigands from the mountains looking to make quick coin off the
salvage. What few villagers remained were captured. The men were either put to the sword or pressed into
service. The women did not fair so well.

Carted off in rags, they were taken by cover of night to Ul'dah and sold to one of the more high-class
brothels of the under-ground. For three long years she served all manner of clients under fear of torture
or death. Each night spent crying out to Menphina for deliverance. Eventually, as all people who think
they are more influential than they really are do, the owner angered a very important client who was also
a member of the Syndicate. Soon after, the Brass Blades swept through the establishment in a false-front raid
to "expose slave trafficking". Coatleque escaped during the chaos as many of the courtesans fled.

She spent the next two years bettering herself and learning to fight. She has a mind for revenge against
the brigands that raided her village so many years ago. But she would also like to find any others that may
have survived, especially her family whom she has had no word of for these long five years. She has no interest
in going back, however. She knows there is nothing for her there. She has embraced her life as a citizen of
Ul'dah - even as she prepares to take her oath to lay down her life for the Sultana.

dare not approach anyone directly and is easily flustered if someone else shows genuine interest.

She is attracted to strength and confidence. She needs to be assured she will be safe and protected, but not
coddled and sheltered. While her recent past has forced her to bed both men and women, she would say the latter was
not her choice. She longs for the life she was denied, to marry and raise her own family away from the bustle and
dangers of city life.

The woman's flirtatious nature has, on more than one occasion, left Coatleque alone and frustrated as she continues to pine for her affections. More recently, Tasa has decided to drink pumpkin flavored Fantasia sold by Gus at his Cafe. The results have transformed her into a Miqo'te. Coatleque assured her the outward change does not affect her feelings, and in the end they have grown a bit closer together. Deciding to take things slowly, they are about to face their mutual fears of relationships together.<br/>

Coatleque will refer to her as 'Madam Valadis' and indulge her aristocratic attitude, but personally would not shed a tear if the woman was finally put in her place.<br />

Not even two bells later, Coatleque found herself being accosted by the woman AND the assassin together and making brash accusations of Coatleques loyalties right in public. While the Lady Knight was able to hold her position of authority over the claims, the whole situation has left her with an understandable distaste for the woman.<br />

Coatleque refused to cooperate with the unauthorized investigation of an outsider yet offered to aid him by making her own formal inquiry on his behalf. He refused to compromise and eventually backed down. Coatleque is still on guard for this man as he may try to accost her again with a larger show of force.<br />

Coatleque stepped in to separate the two and the girl quit the scene while she had the chance. The man was forced to back down when he and his two cronies were quickly outnumbered. She gave Coatleque the names of three disgraced Sultansworn (Natalie, Kage, Roen) who may have forged no less than sixteen contracts on the woman's life, if the Ishgardian's accusations are true.
