Due to his friendly nature and, perhaps, his trusting attitude towards Alex despite only just meeting her, she is happy to have him around, especially as he seems able to keep Onuma a little calmer around Alex.

Correctly thinking Alex a thief, Onuma was very wary of her and Alex bitter at the woman seeing through her story. However, Alex now finds herself working as an ally to Onuma and is now trying to change her ways and prove herself to the woman. The problem is, she isn't entirely sure how to do so.

She fought by his side against the fiends used to protect the chest when they had located it. Now she is travelling Coerthas with the kit and the group he associates with. She hasn't had much time to speak with him, though he didn't seem to suspect anything of her when she first met him, which she finds pleasant.

Thankfully she left a decent impression when helping a Miqo'te woman collect her dropped belongings, and he was quick to bring this up upon meeting Alex again at Highbridge. As he happened to retell the memory in earshot of Onuma, Alex was thankful having someone say something good about her whilst Onuma was ready to cut off her hands.

Her attempt failed entirely, however, as Tahla'li immediately saw through her efforts (handing him fake gil) and promptly ushered her away. Whilst Tahla'li recognised her at first, Alex brushed him off the way he had brushed off her initial thieving efforts. Still, she hasn't really spoken to him since and finds she's still a little bitter.

While her mother was heavily pregnant with Alex, her parents left their small village in the Eastern regions of Thanalan before it fell to barbaric Amal'jaa forces that had been heading towards the village for several days. To begin with, most of the villagers fled together, planning to move to a nearby settlement and make a home for themselves there. Alex's parents decided against this and instead decided to travel towards Ul'dah, hoping for a prosperous life in the desert city.

Whilst travelling west towards Ul'dah, her mother went into labor in the middle of the Thanalan desert. Alex was born on the road and, although the experience was daunting for her mother, both mother and child survived the birth in good health.

When the family finally arrived at Ul'dah, they found that due to a lack of material wealth they were turned away from the city. Like many others who had flocked to the city, Alex and her family ended up settling in the desert at a refugee camp.

Alex was raised in relative peace, though also clear poverty. Her parents couldn't afford to send her to an education institute. Alex spent the majority of her late childhood performing small jobs around the camp that she was deemed fit to handle. While the pay was almost nothing, every gil she did manage to earn went to her parents, as she supported them as best as she could.

Today, Alex and her family call Stonesthrow their home. Due to her upbringing, she is unable to read or write, but she now has several other skills at her disposal. Despite a relatively slim form, she shows decent physical strength due to an upbringing of physical labor, and has also shown great promise with close melee weapons such as swords and daggers, a skill she decided to learn to fight off bandits and wild animals.

She often works as a courier in the desert of Thanalan, taking supplies between settlements and performing odd jobs for anyone who offers to pay her enough. In her free time, she is often found caring for the children at Stonesthrow while their parents work to scrape together some gil.

Despite this lifestyle being all she has ever known, Alex longs for something more every day. While close with both of her parents, she has grown to hate her refugee home and instead dreams of something more. She is often found listening to Bards singing tales of distant lands and adventures, and deep down wishes she could experience the stories they tell first hand.

Currently, Alex has found herself with a group of travelers headed north towards Coerthas. Her original plan was to sneak into their supply caravan and steal some of their goods before they got too far from Ul'dah. However, she's now found herself further from home than originally planned and is questioning whether the group is just another target for her or potentially something more.

Alex's parents decided against this and instead decided to travel towards Ul'dah, hoping for a prosperous life in the desert city.

Whilst travelling west towards Ul'dah, her mother went into labor in the middle of the Thanalan desert. Alex was born on the road and, although the experience was daunting for her mother, both mother and child survived the birth in good health.

When the family finally arrived at Ul'dah, they found that due to a lack of material wealth they were turned away from the city. Like many others who had flocked to the city, Alex and her family ended up settling in the desert at a refugee camp.

Alex was raised in relative peace, though also clear poverty. Her parents couldn't afford to send her to an education institute. Alex spent the majority of her late childhood performing small jobs around the camp that she was deemed fit to handle. While her mother was heavily pregnant with Alex, her parents left their small village in the Eastern regions of Thanalan before it fell to barbaric Amal'jaa forces that had been heading towards the village for several days. To begin with, most of the villagers fled together, planning to move to a nearby settlement and make a home for themselves there. Alex's parents decided against this and instead decided to travel towards Ul'dah, hoping for a prosperous life in the desert city.

Whilst travelling west towards Ul'dah, her mother went into labor in the middle of the Thanalan desert. Alex was born on the road and, although the experience was daunting for her mother, both mother and child survived the birth in good health.

When the family finally arrived at Ul'dah, they found that due to a lack of material wealth they were turned away from the city. Like many others who had flocked to the city, Alex and her family ended up settling in the desert at a refugee camp.

Alex was raised in relative peace, though also clear poverty. Her parents couldn't afford to send her to an education institute. Alex spent the majority of her late childhood performing small jobs around the camp that she was deemed fit to handle. While the pay was almost nothing, every gil she did manage to earn went to her parents, as she supported them as best as she could.

Today, Alex and her family call Stonesthrow their home. Due to her upbringing, she is unable to read or write, but she now has several other skills at her disposal. Despite a relatively slim form, she shows decent physical strength due to an upbringing of physical labor, and has also shown great promise with close melee weapons such as swords and daggers, a skill she decided to learn to fight off bandits and wild animals.

She often works as a courier in the desert of Thanalan, taking supplies between settlements and performing odd jobs for anyone who offers to pay her enough. In her free time, she is often found caring for the children at Stonesthrow while their parents work to scrape together some gil.

Despite this lifestyle being all she has ever known, Alex longs for something more every day. While close with both of her parents, she has grown to hate her refugee home and instead dreams of something more. She is often found listening to Bards singing tales of distant lands and adventures, and deep down wishes she could experience the stories they tell first hand.

Currently, Alex has found herself with a group of travelers headed north towards Coerthas. Her original plan was to sneak into their supply caravan and steal some of their goods before they got too far from Ul'dah. However, she's now found herself further from home than originally planned and is questioning whether the group is just another target for her or potentially something more.

While her mother was heavily pregnant with Alex, her parents left their small village in the Eastern regions of Thanalan before it fell to barbaric Amal'jaa forces that had been heading towards the village for several days. To begin with, most of the villagers fled together, planning to move to a nearby settlement and make a home for themselves there. Alex's parents decided against this and instead decided to travel towards Ul'dah, hoping for a prosperous life in the desert city.

Whilst travelling west towards Ul'dah, her mother went into labor in the middle of the Thanalan desert. Alex was born on the road and, although the experience was daunting for her mother, both mother and child survived the birth in good health.

When the family finally arrived at Ul'dah, they found that due to a lack of material wealth they were turned away from the city. Like many others who had flocked to the city, Alex and her family ended up settling in the desert at a refugee camp.

Alex was raised in relative peace, though also clear poverty. Her parents couldn't afford to send her to an education institute. Alex spent the majority of her late childhood performing small jobs around the camp that she was deemed fit to handle. While the pay was almost nothing, every gil she did manage to earn went to her parents, as she supported them as best as she could.

Today, Alex and her family call Stonesthrow their home. Due to her upbringing, she is unable to read or write, but she now has several other skills at her disposal. Despite a relatively slim form, she shows decent physical strength due to an upbringing of physical labor, and has also shown great promise with close melee weapons such as swords and daggers, a skill she decided to learn to fight off bandits and wild animals.

She often works as a courier in the desert of Thanalan, taking supplies between settlements and performing odd jobs for anyone who offers to pay her enough. In her free time, she is often found caring for the children at Stonesthrow while their parents work to scrape together some gil.

Despite this lifestyle being all she has ever known, Alex longs for something more every day. While close with both of her parents, she has grown to hate her refugee home and instead dreams of something more. While her mother was heavily pregnant with Alex, her parents left their small village in the Eastern regions of Thanalan before it fell to barbaric Amal'jaa forces that had been heading towards the village for several days. To begin with, most of the villagers fled together, planning to move to a nearby settlement and make a home for themselves there. Alex's parents decided against this and instead decided to travel towards Ul'dah, hoping for a prosperous life in the desert city.

Whilst travelling west towards Ul'dah, her mother went into labor in the middle of the Thanalan desert. Alex was born on the road and, although the experience was daunting for her mother, both mother and child survived the birth in good health.

When the family finally arrived at Ul'dah, they found that due to a lack of material wealth they were turned away from the city. Like many others who had flocked to the city, Alex and her family ended up settling in the desert at a refugee camp.

Alex was raised in relative peace, though also clear poverty. Her parents couldn't afford to send her to an education institute. Alex spent the majority of her late childhood performing small jobs around the camp that she was deemed fit to handle. While the pay was almost nothing, every gil she did manage to earn went to her parents, as she supported them as best as she could.

Today, Alex and her family call Stonesthrow their home. Due to her upbringing, she is unable to read or write, but she now has several other skills at her disposal. Despite a relatively slim form, she shows decent physical strength due to an upbringing of physical labor, and has also shown great promise with close melee weapons such as swords and daggers, a skill she decided to learn to fight off bandits and wild animals.

She often works as a courier in the desert of Thanalan, taking supplies between settlements and performing odd jobs for anyone who offers to pay her enough. In her free time, she is often found caring for the children at Stonesthrow while their parents work to scrape together some gil.

Despite this lifestyle being all she has ever known, Alex longs for something more every day. While close with both of her parents, she has grown to hate her refugee home and instead dreams of something more. She is often found listening to Bards singing tales of distant lands and adventures, and deep down wishes she could experience the stories they tell first hand.

Currently, Alex has found herself with a group of travelers headed north towards Coerthas. Her original plan was to sneak into their supply caravan and steal some of their goods before they got too far from Ul'dah. However, she's now found herself further from home than originally planned and is questioning whether the group is just another target for her or potentially something more.

Nazyl stands at about 3'4", slightly taller than most other Lalafells, tanned skin, and boasts a better body for physical work, his muscles (as much as a Lalafell can have) are defined, allowing him the energy for a long day of work. Earthen brown hair is cut short, spiked in the front and back, and comes down into two bushy mutton chops on his cheeks, which he is immensely proud of. Freckles dot his face and slightly darkened nose, and a blood red symbol is painted across his face, going over his verdant eyes. It's the mark of a Behemoth in his village, a symbol of strength. What he wears goes with what he's doing for the day. When he mines, he dresses in heavy dark green cloth, padded and plated to prevent harm, lantern and hammers at his side. He usually dons a metal helmet with a light for dark caves and the like. For battle, he dresses in a white and red tabard, padded heavily with chainmail underneath. Plate gauntlets and sabatons protect his limbs, and a white turban and leather visor protect his head.

Nazyl comes from the islands far south of Eorzea, where many Lalafells originated. Working as a farmhand for fifteen years, he led a simple life with dreams of one day being a mighty hero, leading a group of young Lalafellin boys into caves and forests with little more than twigs to fight imaginary monsters. He was a prankster that liked to show the boys a good time tipping Aldgoats, putting spices in people's breakfast, and other harmless jokes that tended to get him in trouble. While he grew up, he was taught humility and manners by his parents, who were strict, but wanted him to have a childhood. In his teens, he, along with the others in his little village, noticed a certain moon getting bigger...or was it getting closer?

As the moon Dalamud edged ever closer, Nazyl began to have strange dreams. One in particular, repeated several times and became clearer and clearer over the course of his teen years, involving a great light, and a great darkness, and the silhouette of a spiked warrior siding with the light, about to clash with the darkness. The dream always ended right before the clash, and the boy would wake up in a cold sweat. It was clearest on that fateful day, when the Battle of Carteneau took place. After Nazyl had awoken from his dream, he took to the orchards to pick fruits for his family, and hefted the sack toward his home after he was done. The moon was closer than it had ever been in years....and then the unthinkable happened.
It exploded.
Nazyl watched in both awe and horror as the red moon was dismantled, and from its remains a great dragon, one told in legend, threw itself into the sky and lit up the night air. Fire destroyed everything around it, and it was as if the world itself shuddered in response. Trees died, plants wilted, and the villagers ran screaming for their lives. A piece of the destruction, Mega-flare, made its way to the tiny village, planting a fiery crystal smack dab in the middle of it. It was a night Nazyl would never forget.

Five years had past since the calamity, and the young Lalafell was ready to depart. In the garb the village guards wore, he took up a rusted sword his father had kept for personal safety. After saying his tearful goodbyes to his parents, he told the village he would return bearing fortune and fame, promising he would be a great hero. He set north in a trade ship to Eorzea, where he would be bound for Ul'dah. It wasn't until he arrived that he found out keeping his promise was harder than he ever thought possible.

When he arrived in the desert, the heat was enough to make him pass out on the caravan, where he dreamt clearly of his vision before. The shadowed knight, throwing himself against a black void, with light behind him burning bright. He questioned its meaning yet again as he awoke in a sweat, now at the gates of the great city. He brushed it off and began showing himself off to the people, taking up jobs to rid the gates of pests such as marmots and the like. He charged outside with no knowledge on how to fight, and was trounced by the critters before he could raise his weapon. The refugees staying outside the city took him in and nursed him back to health, since the Brass Blades would leave him for dead. When he was able to walk again, he decided to take up a pick and help the poor gain income for housing to repay them for taking care of him. He became a skilled miner and had taken to selling his work for profit to help him along. As a side job, he puts himself out as an escort to protect supply caravans or take out pests, and is slowly becoming better at swordsmanship. Nowadays he travels with a band of Miqo'te for unknown reasons, other than to help them accomplish their goals.
