==Character==
===General===
Leih'a is by most accounts an easy going pacifist, requiring much provocation or an alarming sense of urgency to stir him into action. His time is spent keeping ends tightly knit for the company he keeps and in his downtime, dabbling in various forms of craft-work, with weaving being first and foremost his passion and specialization. Despite the ears and tail, Leih'a more sees himself as a Hyur than any Miqo'te, but finds deep fascination in their culture, especially where Keeper of the Moon clans are concerned. Currently, he speaks for the council that drives the New Conglomerate in their group oriented decision making. Folk tend to title him as 'leader', either to have fun at the expense of his at times naive demeanor, or simply because the genuinely see his potential to fill the role. Currently, he is engaged to Arala Makeo, which was the eventual result of a long and twisting road of misunderstandings and misgivings.

===Appearance===
Leih'a holds a figure which is most definitely Miqo'te, save for perhaps the midlander-like skin tone. His eyes are deep purple abysses which show a mix of softness and astute calculation. Most often, they are draped under a shroud of his white and light blue locks, possibly also a result of his mixed heritage. Outside of that, he keeps the back neatly tied in a short ponytail. Adorning his face is an old 'x' shaped scar, which seems to somehow compliment his otherwise boyishly attractive facial features. He prefers to wear comfortable, practical clothing. A vest in the standard Miqo'te style atop a plain white shirt, A belt fitted with a tailcoat, thigh-high jackboots, and black leather bracers that adorn his wrists. His lion-like tail, oddly enough, is in much darker tones than his hair. A curiosity in itself, given that Seekers more commonly hold that lion-tail shape.
===Personality===
Leih'a is easy going as a person, and holds a wider world view for his travels amidst the seas. He also bears a positive outlook on things, mayhaps as a result of his learning to read and write from being tutored by an Arcanist with the use of a self-help book he found amongst the wreckage of a recently capsized galleon. Despite that, he does have a wholesome span of insecurities and doubts, mostly spurned on by the pressure of being put into situations that he's not at all familiar with.
However, his levity makes him socially versatile, and his naive but curious mind holds potential to develop knowledge and skills, indicating fairly high intellect in spite of his position and upbringing. He also enjoys helping out fresh adventuring folk with things of his own personal make, more because he sees duty in helping those who walk after folk like himself along the adventuring path.

===General===
In combat, Leih'a favors the daggers, though he is also shown to be proficient with fists. Both weapons are practiced merely as a form of self-discipline, but his movements indicate a few years worth of experience putting such practice to show. He also bears martial knowledge of spears, swords, and axe blades, but only second-hand. Bows however, were a more recent discovery to him, and as such, being in the line of sight for one can serve as a prevailing weakness. The disciples of magic, for the moment are also beyond his grasp, but he may come to dabble if he sees suit in it. It's also little known that he once kept a pistol tucked in the back of his belt, but has since abandoned it to the storage closet for it's high maintenance costs, rarity of decent ammo, and the attention-wresting noise of the musket barrel.

::*Kyonene Kyone - A Ul'Dahn raised Plainsfolk Thamaturge. Upon their initial meeting, the girl was deathly quiet. Later on, Leih'a spotted the lass wandering about the Shroud in a predicament. He set to making her some decent clothes on the spot, an act which spurned her to open up more, and likewise spurned him to help other adventurers by doing the same.
::*Yangh Linh - A woman that once caught his particular interest by way of their subtle similarities. While there was a time when he found utter, unrequited fascination with her and her ways, situations have long since displaced the two.
::*Artemis Newton - While most of her time around him is making sarcastic comments at his expense, Leih'as come to accept that her wry, almost endless font of humor is simply how she is. He's since adapted to it, even jabbing back with a snark or two of his own.
::*Hyate - His pet wolf-dog. The pup found him when he was in a back alley, at the bottom most of his cups. He since gave it the name that was inscribed on the bandanna around it's neck. The Miqo'te had learned Hyate was in fact a 'she', (though he still refers to it as a 'he' in brief forgetfulness) and had been later given to understand that Hyate means 'Wind' or 'To Sneeze' in an Eastern language.

<b>Chachanji Gegenji</b> is the youngest child of the Gegenji family - a quickly rising clan of arms dealers seeking to make a name for themselves as the makers and providers of the finest arms and armors in all of Hydaelyn. However, Chachanji - being both energetic and a bit of a romantic - believes that he'd rather protect people himself rather than just foist gear on them. Seeing the plights surrounding Ul'dah upon the start of his adventure has only strengthened his beliefs.

At his side often enough is stalwart, little <b>Gran</b>; a baby behemoth that has quickly become Chachanji's partner in crime. Originally an oddity that was handed off time and time again between vendors and easily-tricked consumers across Eorzea, the little purple porker has somehow wound up under the Lalafell's care. He's not complaining, though, considering the ample supply of entertainment and treats. Whether or not he's actually a baby behemoth or a piglet made up to look like one is still up in the air.

: Chachanji, like his siblings, was born in Doma to the current family head Zozonji Gegenji - Doman native and skilled smith - and his wife Jijinya, daughter of a mostly unknown Ul'dahn merchant family. While he was taught the ways of business and metallurgy like his brother and sister, it was understood that Gogonji would take on the family business once Zozonji and Jijinya were ready to hand off the reins. As such, the pressures on Chacha to live up to the Gegenji family name were much less. While he did pay some attention to the smithing lectures and hands-on training, due to their more complicitly interactive nature, most of his economic classes were spent daydreaming about fighting dragons and saving princesses.

: The most shocking event in Chachanji's young life was when he overheard a heated argument between Zozonji and Gogonji. The normally quiet and studious Gogo was suddenly voicing his disinterest in taking on the family business! He believed that simple weapons and armor paled before the might of tactics and knowledge, which had the added benefit of having uses outside just combat. He spoke of the Arcanists of the south seas, he described tales of the Scholars of Nym. Spearheading the manipulation and control of information, he argued, was a better goal than stubbornly relying on antiquated weaponry - already dated against Garlean's magitek advances.

: Chachanji retreated as the fight continued, afraid of being found and dragged into it. All he knew was that, shortly after that, Gogonji left their home to pursue his own ventures. Chacha approached his father for clarification, but was gruffly dismissed and ordered to focus on his studies.

: It has been five years since Gogonji stormed out on his family, and still the fight would oft come to Chachanji's mind. With the ramping up of Garlean forces over in Eorzea, the Gegenji family was seeing a lot of business. Of course, with Jijinya's ties to Ul'dah, they were also covertly shipping equipment there as well - for coin, of course. It all rubbed the romantically-minded Chacha the wrong way.

: Like his brother before him, Chacha confronted his father. However, his complaints were much more fanciful. It was obvious the Domans held no love for the oppressive Garleans, so why not support the Eorzean Alliance more openly? Why not take up the arms they so lovingly crafted and defend Doma, Ul'dah, and the rest rather than just turn around and sell them to the highest bidder!?
: <br/>
: Chachanji remembers little of how the rest of the argument played out, either too upset to remember or having actively refused to commit it to memory. All that he knew that he was on a ship to Ul'dah, to the land of his mother, to do more to help people than just offer them a fine blade for a price. Once there, the gap between the haves and the have-nots only inflamed his passion. He quickly found work with Momodi, taking tasks to try and make each day a little bit better for the locals - all the while dreaming of doing something bigger and better.
: <br/>
: Imagine his fear, then, when he heard of the razing of Doma. While he and his father had separated on less-than-friendly circumstances, he still truly cared for his family. So, when the refugees came to Ul'dah, Chachanji dropped everything to go see them - only to find they had been barred from the city. Chacha himself might have be gathered up with them and ousted from the city as well due to his heritage, but it was Momodi to the rescue again, citing his adventurer's license as reason enough for why he could stay within Ul'dah's walls. There's been quite a bit of conflict on this matter, and Chachanji has quickly learned to keep his Doma heritage quiet to avoid unneeded complications.

: Since then, quite a bit has happened. He's made friends (with an oddly disproportionate number of them being Sultansworn), made a bit of a name for himself as an able hand around Ul'dah, and has even begun his training to become a Paladin under the watchful eyes of Warren Castille, Roen Deneith, and (hopefully soon) Ser Coatleque Crofte. He still wants to be a hero, but a conversation with Ser Crofte has gotten him questioning his reasons as to <i>why.</i> Such reflection oft returns his mind to his family, holed up in Revenant's Toll with the rest of the Doman refugees, but he steadfastly believes that he's doing something important at the Jewel and stays his course. He still tries to visit them occasion, though.

: What lies ahead for the youngest Gegenji? Will he manage to complete his training and become either Free Paladin or Sultansworn? And what of his family, from the father he walked out on to the brother who is still missing in action?

Her calm and collected approach, along with her apparent ability to always know what to say or do, being something he wants to emulate. Her myriad skill sets and knowledge on multiple matters (either personally or knowing someone who does) has been helpful to the little Lalafell to learn more about Eorzea in general.

She's been there for him almost as much as Leanne herself, and is quite close to being bumped up on this list.

As such, they've been almost "rivals" in a race to see who can reach their goal first. She <i>does</i> still have her moments that make him wonder how she got so much further ahead.

The farm boy's short temper and overzealous nature continues to exasperate the little Lalafell, but the Hyur's dream also resonates with him. As such, Chachan has found himself trying to keep an eye out for Aiden and keep him from blowing his chances. This has the added effect of the spritely Lalafell somehow being the straight man in most of their interactions.
: <font style="color:#C24640;" size="3">●</font> [[Koporo Aporo]] - Meetings between these two Lalafell seem to always quickly devolve into arguing over whether Chachanji should be able to keep his pet baby behemoth, Gran, or not. As such, the Gegenji child tries to avoid Koporo when he can and, if forced into conversation with him, tends to be a bit more grumpy. This is usually because he's waiting for the Lalafell 'Sworn to inquire into where Gran might be.

A former member of the Sultansworn who rose from an orphan on the streets, Artemis Newton served with distinction until the Battle of Carteneau, where her unit was killed due to what she perceived as her own carelessness. Leaving the Sultansworn after that, an easy task considering she was presumed dead, Artemis decided that if she couldn't serve due to her own issues, she would help the Sultanate in her own way, becoming an independent operative who gathered information for the Royalist faction.

It is difficult to take the Sultansworn out of the woman however, and Artemis still finds herself looking to the faction as her guidemark in the world. As the closest thing she has to a family, it is an unwise act to harm one of their number in any way if it is possible she will hear about it.

Ostensibly a Paladin, Artemis is possessed of a number of skill sets, most of which were researched to allow her to blend in with numerous identities and disguises.

===Appearance===

Artemis is tall for a Midlander Hyur, with natural blonde hair that comes in many styles depending on her current persona, although she prefers a somewhat long cut swept up in a ponytail. In the past, her hair was dyed black with blue highlights, but recent events saw her return to her blonde look to effect a disguise. Any markings on her face are not of a permanent nature in order to avoid giving herself an identifying mark.

Her favourite clothing tends to be blue, a fascination which has cost her vast sums of gil in dyes. Although she wears glasses, they are entirely decorative and her eyesight is fine. When questioned why she wears them to combat, she was unable to give a more satisfactory answer than 'because'.

===Personality===

For the most part, Artemis is a cheerful individual, quick with a witticism, pun, snark or joke in any situation, often refusing to give serious circumstances the weight they are due. The concepts of surrender and helplessness are entirely alien to her, and she would sooner consider all manner of outlandish acts rather than accept a lost cause. Many of her friends are known to sigh at her terrible, terrible jokes, but are often bolstered by her determination and refusal to give in. Or at least, she hopes so.

By nature of her former profession, she is a meddler, and it's often very difficult to stop her getting involved in standoffs, fights and other people's troubles. As she puts it, she's a problem solver.

It would be a fool who would mistake her silly nature for incompetence though, and underestimating her because of her eccentricities is simply playing into her hands.

As a former Sultansworn, Artemis is best with her trusty sword and shield. Her regular blade is a massively heavy weapon, and her shield is designed for greater offence than defence, sacrificing the protection of a Kite Shield in order to employ battering attacks on her opponent's guard.

Since leaving however, Artemis has found herself using the bow as part of her wandering bard disguise, although her proficiency with it is better than her range of songs. While she engaged in some Conjurer training as part of her requirements to be a Paladin, her preferred method of healing is with a book as a Scholar. What trials she had to go through to get such powers are unknown, and she delights in not telling.

With the surge of knifework enthusiasm sweeping the nation, Artemis has gotten involved in her old habits once more.
