:'''Personality:''' During his earlier years while traveling with his family, his mother arranged for him to apprenticeship with various tradesmen and investors from which he learned to have a passion for turning a profit in even the bleakest of economic times. He went through a very dark anger and hate-filled mindset in the years following the murders of his mother and twin sisters, but has since purged himself of those emotions and operates as a very level-headed individual. Brand prides himself as a scrupulous businessman, providing quality goods to his clientele. Once the terms of a deal are agreed upon, he always fulfills the contract with the highest quality of merchandise to satisfy the client. Brand expects his clients to honor their contracts, and those that fail to do so often go missing, coincidentally so, and when they do resurface they are usually no longer among the living. Brand operates as a self-employed entrepreneur, working closely with a long time associate and friend with aspirations to open an official shop in Limsa Lominsa in the near future. He is well versed in the Bardic arts, but does not fit the bill of those normally associated with the craft.

:Despite often coming off as a all-work-no-play businessman, Brand finds that maximizing profit somewhat therapeutic and is often reminded that it is not normal. This trait makes him a valuable asset in any situation where attention to detail is required and occasionally finds himself doing side work as a records auditor and asset valuation. He is loyal to those that earn his trust and lethal to those that lift a finger against him or his allies.
