==Basic Info==

A gentile Raen lady whose demeanour always seems tranquil. With her rare skills carried over from the Eastern land of Othard, she provides soothing therapy for the mind and body. When she is not tending to patients, Kinsenka spends her time studying the arts of Conjury and Botany.

Despite her heritage as a Raen Ojou (lady of noble birth, daughter of a Samurai Lord), she currently resides in the Gridanian forest, with no home, no family, and no gil. She bears great pain in her soul, as well as terrible scars upon her body, which she sailed to a foreign land to forget.

==History==

Born to the Samurai Lord of a prosperous Raen clan, Kinsenka was guaranteed a life of privilege. She spent her childhood in luxury, revered like a princess, highly educated in everything from musical instruments to swordsmanship. Along with her fine lineage and wealth, she was admired for her beauty throughout Othard. Tales of this golden princess reached the roaming Xaela clans across the western steppe, capturing the interest of one clan noblewoman in particular; Qalerdene, wife of a mighty Warlord.

Qalerdene, who was notoriously vain and prone to extreme acts of jealousy, upon hearing Kinsenka referred to as the “sun jewel of the mountains”, demanded to see this woman for herself. Although her husband was the clan’s leader in title, Qalerdene commanded equal – if not more – allegiance from them. She bid the Warlord arrange peaceful trade talks with the Raen clan, as an excuse to glimpse Lady Kinsenka. The gathering did not proceed as peacefully as the Raen had hoped. When Qalerdene caught sight of Kinsenka and saw how truly beautiful she was, she flew into a violent rage and signalled the Xaela to attack.

Dozens of lives were lost in a pointless battle, before Lord Sonohana (Kinsenka’s father) was brought to surrender upon his knees. Kinsenka begged for his life, and this pleased Qalerdene so much that she issued the order to spare him – with but one caveat: the “sun jewel” would have her head shaved and her breasts cut off. Despite her father’s vehement refusal, Kinsenka consented. There, before the eyes of both clans and her own family, she suffered the shame and agony that her beauty had bought her. She was left bleeding and naked, but alive, when the Xaela withdrew from the mountains.
With the aid of the clan Conjurers, Kinsenka did not succumb to blood loss or infection. But when she regained consciousness she learned that her father had committed ritual suicide to atone for the dishonour that had come upon him and his family. Her mother blamed her, telling her that she should have let her father die in battle, instead of shaming him with surrender and the public degradation of its brutal terms. Kinsenka was reduced to a woman with no title, no family name, and the disfavour of her clan. She was essentially a vagrant among them – though they would not go so far as to drive her away, she was no longer a clan member, and would thus be forced to survive day-to-day on charity alone.

For almost a year Kinsenka lived on the outskirts of the village, scavenging for food and taking shelter wherever she could find it. A particularly harsh winter finally compelled her to seek other options. Without a farewell from her family or former friends, she set off across Othard to find a place for herself in the harsh world beyond.

==Personality==

If you have ever met an old-fashioned Japanese woman, or read/watched anything about period geisha, you might have an idea of what Kinsenka is like as a person. She can appear quite cold - almost robotic - but with a delicate grace that never falters. Never one to raise her voice, make eye contact with strangers, utter a vulgar word, or seek the limelight, Kinsenka is the very picture of self-control. She moves as softly as a blossom in the breeze, and her voice - when heard - is like a sorrowful ballad. She does nothing frivolously; every word and action she chooses is for a specific purpose and with calculated forethought.

Kinsenka is a student of life. She enjoys not only academic pursuits, reading, and developing practical skills, but also simply observing the world around her. Silent and unnoticed, she can sit for hours and watch people go about their business, picking up on their individual habits and personalities. She examines the different cultures, which until recently she has seen very little of in Othard. Because of Kinsenka's watchful nature and keen ear, she has the ability to read people with effective accuracy. She attunes to subtle emotions and listens to what is unsaid, all the while painting a picture in her mind of the individual's soul. Though she could use this skill to manipulate or cause pain, Kinsenka instead chooses to heal. She knows what a person needs to hear in order to feel better, and where her mystical touch would best be applied.

It is very rare for Kinsenka to talk about herself. Though she will provide insights into her Raen culture to those who wish to hear, she is careful about keeping the information impersonal and general. She mentions neither her past nor her emotions. When asked about her reason for leaving Othard, she gives vague responses. When someone notices her savage bodily scars and amputated breasts, she offers no tale of suffering. She returns the conversation to the weather, food, academic topics, local news, or questions about the person with whom she is speaking.

To anyone who knows Kinsenka beyond the tranquil surface, she is a loyal friend, wise confidant, and vessel of deep sorrow. She sometimes speaks of recurring dreams - visions of her late grandfather, who instructs her as to her destiny. Her closest companions know a little of her tragic past, but no one alive knows exactly why she dishonoured her family name and fled her homeland.

==RP Rules==

If you’re interested in RPing with Kinsenka Sonohana, here are a few things you should know:

* She is a holistic healer and provides massage therapy, HOWEVER, this does not include “happy endings” or any form of sexual contact.
* Though her figure is very feminine, Kin’s breasts have been removed. Thus she tends to wear clothes that conceal her upper body. Muses might notice this, and might even ask her about it, but Kin is unlikely to open up about the cause.
* Her most frequent location is the serene village of Fallgourd Float, where she watches the sunset each night.
* Since the Raen are based on ancient Japanese culture, Kin has many Japanese-like qualities and habits. The mun is well-versed in all things Japan and speaks Japanese, so if I seem to add headcanon to Auri lore, it’s usually an educated guess drawn from true cultural parallels.

Where to find her: (Balmung) Usually Gridania or Fallgourd Float.

How to start RP: Approach Kin in-game, message me for my Discord details, talk to me on my tumblr, send an IC ask directed at Kin, or respond to an ask meme or open RP post.

==Basic Info==

Nema is a Miqo'te Keeper who currently resides in Ul'dah, studying the way of the Thaumaturge at the Guild. Although she is a diligent – perhaps obsessive – student, she is by no means a humble one. She possesses confidence disproportionate to her ability, and despises being told what to do. Her impatience to be a powerful Black Mage often leads her to take on challenges that are beyond her, placing her in frequent and serious danger, but Nema is not one to heed a warning.

Her boldness has made an impression on the Flame General, Raubahn Aldynn, who recently enlisted her services as an independent contractor. It is neither honour nor charity that compelled Nema to accept this duty, but the prospect of what she could gain from it; fame, glory, wealth, and power. Doing favours for powerful people is certain to have its benefits. She could not care less about the cause.

==History==

Raised in a matriarchal society by a small tribe whose male members where little more than servants and breeders, Nema grew up to believe that females were all-important. Although the tribe’s males weren’t necessarily mistreated, what Nema took away from her years as an elevated female was twisted in her mind, to the point where she no longer saw males as individuals. That crooked view was compounded by her own narcissistic personality disorder.

By the time she was old enough to leave on her own, Nema was convinced that only her needs and wants mattered. Instead of continuing to respect females in society outside of the tribe, Nema decided that she alone was deserving of respect. All females were dismissed as irrelevant, and all males were labelled tools or toys. She wandered far, without looking back. She had never developed genuine feelings for the people who had called her ‘family’, since she was incapable of feelings beyond selfish ones.

A young Nema soon discovered that respect was not automatically given - instead, many foreigners actually treated her with contempt. This affront to her almighty ego was unbearable. She had to make certain that all would recognise her for how important she truly was. Watching, thinking, waiting - Nema studied the ways of these outsiders and learned how they ticked. She figured out what they wanted, why they did what they did, how they came to be that way. Then she started to learn how to use that knowledge to her advantage. She became a master manipulator - using an individual’s basest motivations to get whatever she wanted from them. She lied, she stole, she seduced, she flattered, and she ruined. She found that her greatest weapon was her beauty, and so she focused her resources on honing it.

==Personality==

Nema is a textbook narcissist; self-absorbed, attention seeking, and extremely manipulative. Being raised in a matriarchal Keeper tribe instilled in her an unbalanced belief in female supremacy, while her own ego ensured that she assigned respect to no females but herself.

She gives little consideration to the feelings of others, seeking only to fulfil her own desires. Despite her callous disregard for everything and everyone, Nema is not inherently evil – she is ruled by whim, not malice. She desires power, wealth, glory, and pleasure. Whether she attains such things by heroic or villainous means is irrelevant to her. In fact, she does not believe in the concepts of good and evil, but instead believes that the universe is random and meaningless. Death comes to all, so Nema has no problem with helping someone get there a little faster – so long as it benefits her in some way.

==Affiliations==

Though Nema holds to no belief system and identifies with no group, she was born a Keeper of the Moon. Unlike her tribe, she does not revere Menphina, the Keepers’ patron deity – simply because she reveres none above herself. What little she inherited from her people includes her preference of night over day, her hunting abilities, and her sexual liberality.

She never developed any real bonds – even with her own kin. Her younger sister was a source of bitter envy from an early age, and Nema cultivated no love for her. As soon as she was able, she left her tribe in the Shroud and never looked back. With nowhere to go, and no one beside her, she simply wandered.

Nema provides mercenary services for the Maelstrom, but her disdain for organizations and rules keeps her from fully committing to the company. She swears allegiance to no one.

==RP Rules==

If you’re interested in RPing with Nema Cetyri, here are a few things you should know:

* She is a high functioning sociopath. This means she is unable to comprehend the emotions of others, lacks empathy, and can be quite cold. This does not mean she is a psychopath. She is not unhinged or sadistic - merely indifferent.
* Her views - which are often harsh - do not reflect the mun’s. Please don’t mistake her rudeness for mine.
* Although she is a sexually empowered polysexual woman, she is very particular about the people she hooks up with. If she is not interested in your muse in that way, they have no chance at all. (Nema makes the rules, not me)
* If you’re looking for a friendly muse, a possible girlfriend for yours, someone to have fun with or engage in fluffy scenes, Nema is not the muse for you.

Where to find her: (Balmung) Usually Ul’dah, Limsa Luminsa, taverns, docks.

==Basic Info==

Mana is a young Miqo'te Archer from a small tribe of Keepers just outside Gridania. She is a bright and somewhat childlike adventurer, who always tries to see the good in people. She has only recently ventured outside of the Shroud to see the world - and it shows. With her timid manner and curious eyes, her lack of experience is painfully obvious. But while Mana tends to make simple mistakes, she is quick to learn and earnest in her desire to study everything about everything. Her charitable deeds have led her to be recruited by The Order of the Twin Adder.

==History==

Mana was born to a devoted couple who had given up their polyamorous culture to commit to one another. Several years prior, her father had been a breeder for the tribe, and had sired a daughter with another of the females. She was Mana’s sister, Nema.

The girls were raised in the Black Shroud, just outside Gridania. Among a small Keeper tribe of five families, Mana and Nema grew up under the care of their respective mothers. While Nema was always a problem child, prone to tantrums and selfish demands, Mana was a ray of sunshine. Because of her bright, curious nature and fragile stature she was given more attention from the mothers of the tribe. Nema always resented her for this. The youngest sister was a daydreamer, a wanderer, an artistic soul. She sought the answers to questions ordinary children did not think to ask. She often got lost in the woods – following a butterfly here, or counting the trees there – and Nema would invariably be sent out to look for her. The tribe knew that Mana’s curiosity meant she was destined to leave the Shroud someday.

Although it was unusual in their tribe for a male to take an active role in the raising of his daughter, Mana’s father was her best friend and her hero. When her mother passed away shortly before her coming-of-age celebration, Mana was able to take comfort in her father – and he in her. She was also welcomed into the warm embrace of all of the tribe’s elder females, who communally accepted her as a daughter.

Mana’s first love was a bittersweet story. A boy in her tribe, Dren'a, whom she grew up alongside and always secretly admired, was selected at an early age to be a breeder. Because of his striking beauty, strong physique, and vibrant health, he was a favorite among the childbearing females of the Keeper tribe. Mana could accept that wishing for a monogamous relationship with Dren'a was selfish, since the tribe needed him to breed and thrive. But all the logic in the world did not soothe her heartache for him.

As her close friend, Dren'a came to confide in her that he was unhappy being a breeder – that he believed in “one true love”, despite how foolish it sounded. Mana saw reason to hope. She gave her virginity to Dren'a, believing they could be together forever. But her first time was nothing like what she had expected. Before they could finish, Dren'a broke down and told her in tears that he did not desire females at all. He was in love with a Hyur boy from the nearby city-state of Gridania, and they had spoken of a fairytale in which they could someday run away together.

Mana was heartbroken. But she realised that Dren'a’s pain mattered more than her own. That very night, she carried a message to Gridania to Dren'a’s lover and helped arrange for them to elope together. Her dear friend and first love cried when he saw the Hyur boy waiting for him outside the camp. He embraced Mana with tearful thanks and disappeared into the night with his love. Mana never saw him again.

As was her nature, Mana could never lie to the tribe mothers. She confessed what she had done as soon as Dren'a was safely away. There was a great deal of disappointment at the loss of their finest breeder, and needless to say, some anger at Mana. The girl hated to disappoint her family, but knew in her heart that doing the right thing was more important than her reputation. It strengthened her resolve when her father took her side and told her that he was proud of what she’d done.

The atmosphere changed beneath the Shroud in the following weeks. Mana was made to feel like a traitor. Her sister Nema had long since left the tribe in pursuit of independence, and now that her only friend was gone her father was all she had. Tragically, it was not long before he, too, was gone. The sudden passing of her father was the final push Mana needed to leave the tribe behind and venture out into the world. Her childhood was over. It was time for her to begin her life.

==Personality==

Mana is a classic example of a Lawful Good character. She truly believes in the laws and leaders of society, expecting them to work for the greater good and give justice to all. She has great respect for authority figures and always strives to obey even the most petty rules. She is the type of person who would turn herself in if she ever committed a crime, or confess immediately if she was ever unfaithful in a relationship, or punish herself for an imagined sin.

As a friend Mana is the most loyal you could hope to have. She would endure just about anything if it meant protecting someone she cares about. To neighbours, acquaintances, and even strangers, she is always quick to lend a hand. Her willingness to drop everything for a person in need can lead her to overextending herself - physically and emotionally.

Despite her naivety, Mana is an intelligent woman. She sees the reality, the dangers, and the hard truth; she simply chooses to believe the best. She is convinced that anyone, given enough love and support, will do the right thing when the time comes. Sometimes when faced with true evil, Mana can fall into despair, since she cannot comprehend it. She is prone to bouts of depression. What never fails to bring her back from the gloom, though, is the sight of someone in need. Mana will forget her own troubles as soon as she realises she is needed.

Mana's inquisitive nature can irritate people at times. She asks too many questions and digs too deeply, without being able to judge where the boundaries are. If someone appears sad, she will not rest until she finds out why. When she meets a new person, she simply has to learn all about them. This aspect of her personality, obviously, can deter prospective friends.

==Relationships==

Mana falls in love often, and hard. She finds people of all races and genders fascinating - constantly amazed by the uniqueness of each individual. This fascination can lead to confused emotions on her part, since new friendships often excite her to an almost romantic level. She has never truly been in a romantic relationship, and so can't always tell the difference between love, lust, and affection.

Her first and only sexual experience was with a Miqo'te boy in her tribe, which was interrupted before any form of completion. Since then, she has never again had the opportunity to engage in sexual relations of any kind.

Mana has a half-sister named Nema who lives in Ul'dah. The two are as different as fire and ice. Though Mana can get along with just about anyone and always tries to be amicable, her sister has never co-operated with her. When Mana offers love, Nema responds with venom. Neither understands the other, and that suits Nema just fine. But Mana wishes they could cultivate a real sisterly relationship.

Though she is a member of a tribe of Keepers of the Moon, Mana does not consider herself a Keeper. She respects her heritage, but finds that some of the Keeper ways and beliefs conflict with her inner code. If anything, she thinks of herself as a Gridanian first and foremost.

As a recruit of The Order of the Twin Adder, Mana spends most of her time in Gridania. She is loyal to Kan-E-Senna (in fact, she has a crush on the beautiful Seedseer), and believes in all that she stands for.

Mana is also a member of the Archer's Guild, where she studies under Luciane. She is often tasked with errands in the Shroud, alongside a young Miqo'te archer named Leih.

==RP Rules==

If you’re interested in RPing with Mana Cetyri, here are a few things you should know:

* Mana is sweet and quite naive. She can come across as simple, but it’s her lack of experience rather than lack of intelligence.
* She tends to ask a lot of questions. That can get annoying. But she’s completely genuine about wanting to know people, and really listens.
* She is open to fun stuff, games, adventures, new experiences, and making friends. If you’re looking for an easy-going, fluffy kind of muse to RP with, you’ve found her.
* Although she and her mun are over 18, Mana is not sexually active. Being demisexual, she is unlikely to consent to sexual activities without knowing the person extremely well and having made some kind of commitment.

Where to find her: (Balmung) Usually Gridania, The Black Shroud, Limsa Luminsa.

==History==

==Personality==

==Basic Info==

Her boldness has made an impression on the Flame General, Raubahn Aldynn, who recently enlisted her services as an official envoy. It is neither honour nor charity that compelled Nema to accept this duty, but the prospect of what she could gain from it; fame, glory, wealth, and power. Doing favours for powerful people is certain to have its benefits. She could not care less about the cause.

==History==

==Personality==

==Affiliations==

==Basic Info==

==History==

==Personality==

==Relationships==

Her first and only sexual experience was with a Miqo'te boy in her tribe, which did not end well. Before the act could reach completion, the boy broke down and confessed that he was not attracted to females at all, and that he was actually in love with a Hyur boy in the nearby city. Deeply disappointed, but overcome with sympathy for the boy, she ended up helping him elope with his lover.

==Affiliations==

==Basic Info==

==History==

She gave her virginity to Dren'a, believing they could be together forever. But her first time was nothing like what she had expected. Before they could finish, Dren'a broke down and told her in tears that he did not desire females at all.

==Basic Info==

==History==

==Personality==

==Affiliations==

==Basic Info==

==History==

==Personality==

==Affiliations==

==Basic Info==
The only thing more important to her than learning is helping people.

==History==
