==Appearance==
Chaska is strange miqo'te. Well known amongst her former Keeper family as the oddball for her appearance. She stands around five and a half feet. Fairly tall for a female keeper. Her weight is about 124 pounds. She was originally more than a little overweight during her time with her clan, but has since shed those pounds in her wandering around Eorzea. Traveling on foot and eating well portioned amounts of food as helped her slim down. She has built up quite a bit of strength in her arms and legs since then. Nothing like carrying boxes and bags of food and running away from hungry canines to get fit.

Staring. Chaska does lots of staring with her big and pale yellow eyes. They're large enough that she looks surprised quite often without meaning to. Or overly focused. Again not on purpose. She has strange ears. They're longer than a miqo'te's ears normally are. Enough to merit some teasing from others once in a while. And plenty in her past when she was a youngling. Really they're only a few ilms longer, but standing attention it is quite noticeable. On top of that a third of her tail is missing. A whole chunk bitton off. She never explains why. One portion closer to the end is almost always wrapped in a bandage. When removed you can see that portion is missing a chunk of fur on the top side. Everything up to now is complimented with wild dark plum hair. The ends flip out everywhere and she can hardly tame her mane no matter how much she brushes or preens.
==Personality==

She's... She's '''nice'''. As long as you don't push her buttons or be blatantly rude. '''Chaska has her opinions''', and while she's a generally kind miqo'te there are just some things that will drive her to smack someone upside the head if necessary to get her point across. It takes quite an extreme action to push her to that point. But she really isn't a bad person. For the most part. At least not completely ''evil.'' Chaska likes people who don't grate her nerves like cheese as she is an '''easily annoyed''' individual given the right circumstances. She tends to make meals for her companions and then extras to go around due to being a more '''generous''' miqo'te at heart. If her friends are sick you can guarantee she will bring them a toasty bowl of soup or their favorite meal. And bake sweet treats on top of that.

To say she works hard is a bit of an understatement. '''She might work too hard''' sometimes. To the point she should and does have dark circles under her big eyes. Someone should probably direct her to go get sleep at some point or another. Chaska is '''driven''' and determined to get to her goal. A house where she can have the biggest kitchen in the world if she wants to. All to herself where no one can steal her food. Ever. She plans on making it a restaurant and a location to craft food to deliver to the homeless and those in need.

'''Meddlesome''' is a great word to describe her. She might crop up in situations that call for someone to intervene and lend a helping hand to the, hopefully right, party in need. But at the same time she also intervenes when it might not be necessary or she hasn't been called on for help. She sticks her nose where it doesn't belong. And sometimes likes to pick up on chatter from nearby folk she knows for information. Probably because she has a '''curious and nosy''' nature. Living amongst her other Keepers has made her '''patient'''. And given the opportunity and right conditions she can sit or stand and wait forever for something to happen. She can stare until the other party gets uncomfortable enough to break, or they blink. A staring contest champion.

Eorzea dwellers beware, she is a creature of '''mischief'''. And if she feel up to it and she's bored enough she will play a series of elaborate and well though out pranks. For some reaosn folk never suspect the mute miqo'te with a penchant for cooking. The perfect villain to put hot sauce in your meal.

==Quick History==
Her family, as she claims, resides in the Shroud. Her clan of Keepers sticks to their tradition, and while they are a small group, they thrive for the most part. While Chaska was born into this group she felt and still feels as if she didn't and never will belong. Although she has a younger sister who still resides there as far as she knows she had a lot of difficulty growing up amongst her fellow miqo'te. She was born mute, and the inability to speak did and does make it awkward for her to communicate. She certainly is an effective hunter, but they never quite treated her the same. Every day they awkwardly tiptoed around her or gave her unexciting tasks such as cooking or tending to smaller things. They seemed to have low expectations for her even with her skills.

The awkwardness became a bit too much for Chaska. And after some traumatic experiences, a broken heart, her sister picking her up off the ground, and a messy argument with her sibling she vanished off during the early rise of a sun leaving a letter and the majority of her possessions behind in the process. Poof. Gone. She also left her sister behind much to Flavah's dismay.

And with that she began her travels around Eorzea looking for homes in all the wrong places. Most of her gil is earned from small cooking jobs. Helping out folk who need a quick meal and whatnot. The rest is earned from doing the odd job here and there. She never makes a whole lot. Most folk look at her funny because she has to hold up a big 'LOOKING FOR WORK' sign. Time spent in some of the more seedy areas of Eorzea taught her to use what she knows best. So she took a kitchen knife in hand and learned how to defend herself with small blades. Easily hidden and effective for getting the job done.

Eventually after a long time of meandering and working on that cooking skill in different cities put her in front of a notice. A notice regarding recruitment for new members of the Coral Sea. So she decided to take up the offer. Much to her dismay the first thing she noticed was that her note -may- have been read wrong at the induction. And on top of that the weird leader of the group decided it would be a wonderful idea to grope her face in front of everyone. A great start to the chaos that takes place in her free company group. Murders, assaults, berry thieves, cake ghosts, and everything else possible makes her day to day interactions as interesting as possible.

Chaska is currently putting all her focus into cooking like mad. She wants to be the best of the best. At least that's what she thinks as it's what she does best. Trying to put all her focus into cooking at least. Some Coralites seem intent on going through with sabotage. Cake related sabotage for the most part.
