With her petite form and naivety, some wonder how Yuki [Pronounced Yu-KEY] managed to live for this long. Even though she seems like a rather open person, there are still a number of things that remain unknown about the woman such as if she holds any living family members, how she came Limsa Lominsa and if she holds any other professions aside from ones that are commonly known, due to having questionable attire and, seen on rare occasions, markings.

With chocolate colored hair cut in a medium length hairstyle and parts of it falling over her shoulders from the back, bangs side swept to partially cover her right crystal blue orb and holding a petite, slender figure with an ivory skin tone similar to one of a porcelain doll, it's hard not to believe she isn't a midlander woman who hails from Doma. While her looks might be a rare one, she doesn't see herself to be high in the department of beauty compared to other women she has seen.

Yuki isn't one to wear make up, quick to swap out eyeliner and make up brushes for grease and a screw driver. However, she can be seen wearing a few pieces of jewelry; A silver band with a single emerald forged within, a beaten leather collar and silver band which wraps around her neck with a purple gem.

The clothing she wears ranges within color but usually remaining in the same department and items such as a hempen top, kecks made of different material and boots is what she commonly wears, feeling most comfortable in the choice of clothing. She does wear skirts on the occasion but usually with a longer type of top, not use to showing much skin. A common item seen is goggles that usually hang around her neck or on top of her head, used as a hair band.

Yuki is generally a cheerful caring and a rather comedic girl with her beloved smile yet perhaps a bit clumsy at times. She tries to look at the brighter side of things and keep those around her in good spirits, especially her friends, whom mean much to her. While she has only a few close friends, she tries to place their safety, goals and needs before her own. With crystal blue orbs, the left being a few shades darker then the right, keeping from behind her bangs and slender brows, and a smile to help calm others, some may find it hard to remember why they were angry before.

Of course, just like anyone else, she holds her own type of fears and problems but when questioned, she will brush it off and give the person questioning a soft smile. She is one to fight her battles on her own and doesn't like to depend on others, trying to avoid causing them issues even further.

As kind as she is to her friends, she isn't a force to be reckoned with. While it is unknown how skillful she is with weapons so far, she has been seen wielding a bow and throwing knives which rest in a side satchel on her hip. The few times others have seen, they will state that for a clumsy woman, within the heat of the battle, she can be quite graceful and fluid in her movement yet none speak of her skills with her weapons.

While she does wish to remain with her metal works, others will state that she holds quite a singing voice and a keen eye for weapon crafting. She can even be seen tinkering with random items.

Raised within a large family, Yuki was quick to learn of the basic household care. While she was never an excellent cook, she knew how to take care of her siblings. Of course, most of her siblings were actually by adoption rather than blood but this never passed a thought within her mind; They were her family and that is what mattered to her, all under the same name, 'Kurenai'. There was, however, one child she was related to by blood, her twin brother. Both shared chocolate colored hair within similar styles of medium length and bright, curious orbs of crystal blue that would make one think of the ocean on a clear, sunny day. The large family was raised by two women; A Roegyden Seawolf and a Hyur Midlander. Yet she learned that most of the community was to be considered their family as well, having 'relatives' where ever she turned.

Growing up in Doma, she learned different things such as crafting of metals, which the Kurenai Family was known for. Armor, weapons, tools, you name it and they could make it. One of Yuki's fondest earliest memories was the smell of iron and brimstone. Quite lives were lead and she lived a rather nice one within a community where people knew one another and kept their bonds strong. Not only did she learn metal crafting but also how to use some weapons like bows and daggers.

However, there were times within her life where she knew the difficulties of her quiet community. Beneath the Garlean Empire, she was told to not question the members of the Empire. The community didn't seem to be too fond of the Garleans but they went about their day, following whatever command was needed to be given. They didn't see much of a reason to fight them, not yet at least.

There were groups of unknown people that would travel across the land, taking out different members of the Garlean Empire by assassinations and ambushes within their travels. She would come to idolize them and trained in secret, at least as well as she could with what little knowledge she was able to obtain of them.

The earliest memory Yuki holds is one of confusion yet comfort and the day she came to find her family. She awoken within lands and hills, covered in a blanket of white powder. She wasn't sure where she was, how she got there or even what rested upon the lands. There was something crimson around her as she rested on her hands and knees within her fur coat and gloves. She was lost in a daze, even when a strange figure approached her.

She wasn't sure if the figure was man or beast. He walked on two legs but there was something off about the being. Even she was able to sense that. With the moon shining behind him, she couldn't see his features or even what he wore. Just a large black mass who shifted towards her. She tried to crawl away from the man, searching for whatever words might form but they sounded like mutters of gibberish and felt like her energy was leaving her, her vision growing blurry. Within the moonlight's gleam, she saw the figure give an eerie smile, shadows extending from the already shadowy being, looking like two long arms which he held over his head. A hiss slithered past the man, eyes giving off a chilling violet hue, and sounds like an eerie chuckle of some sort. The being charged forward, opening his mouth wide when...

A person, possibly a few years older than her, stuck a hand outward and grasped the man's head. At first, the figure seemed confused before the young girl saw a mist travel from the figure and into the man's hand, the figure letting out an unforgettable cry of pain. He wiggled and writhed in pain but soon fell motionless to the ground, laying on his side. The man, who had possibly saved her life, turned towards her and extended his other hand towards her.

Even at a young age, she was captured by his eyes which glowed like two pools of gold and when being compared to the moon, shined even brighter. She took his hand gently, the man pulling her forward and she fell into his grasp, closing her eyes. She remained close and felt like she was being picked up and carried off, leaving the now presumed deceased unknown figure.

As the years past, she still searching for the man who saved her years ago after he took her to a place to be taken care of and soon adopted by the home owner. The man remained for a few days, wandering the village with the little girl and her new parents, asking the others if they knew of who she was but none could recall.

The man, she remembered, remained wrapped up and all that could be seen was his sun-kissed skin and golden eyes that were striking to anyone who gazed upon them. He obtained a lot of attention from the women, both young and old, within the community. Even from Yuki's siblings and, sometimes, Yuki herself. When she awoken one day, after the man remained there for a few days, she was crestfallen when she saw that he was gone yet there was a box left for her, obtaining a necklace with a violet gem in the middle. It said on a small scrap of paper addressed to Yuki, <i>"I'll always be here."</i> And she wore it everyday.

Yet it was after the Calamity, news traveling quickly around the village that the Garlean's grip was loosening and some thought it might be the perfect time to escape to somewhere else, her family being one of them. Others were leaving before her own family, deciding to wait a bit of it out. She remembered the day so clearly yet wish she didn't. She was down by the shore, trying to catch some fish. While she was good at multiple things, fishing wasn't her area of expertise yet she would continue to try. She was thinking about how good the fish would taste when she got home. Yet when she turned away empty handed, she thought she would purchase some fish from a man who was known for always obtaining the perfect catch. But the closer she got to the village, the stronger the smell of something burning came past her nose and she broke out into a sprint as she felt danger creep within her.

When she came to her village, everything was set aflame. She didn't smell anything that could have possibly been flesh but, to her dismay, she found a few of her scattered 'family' members across the ground. She couldn't see well through the smoke and her eyes stung with tears as she coughed into her hand. She cried out for her brothers, her sisters, her parents, anyone but no one answered back. Blood scattered across the bodies along with burnt clothing. She tried to reach out for some of them but the fire made her jolt back. She wanted to at least give them a proper burial but something else was giving off the feeling of more danger.

When she managed to get home, after continuously tripping, she paused, seeing figures of black mass. She instantly remembered, if only for a brief moment, the figure within her earliest memory. They turned to her and wasted not a second in attacking. At least, this way, she could be with her family whom she thought had passed but something moved passed her. She wasn't sure if it was a gust of wind or an attack. She was preparing herself to feel the sharp pain of some type of weapon yet nothing came. When she looked to the figures that were once approaching her, they were resting upon the ground and someone stood in a black cloak around them.

She watched as the cloak nearly danced with the wind and the person turned towards her.

"We need to get out of here." The voice stated, sounding like a cold, husky tone and rather demanding.

"I'm not leaving without my family." She quickly stated, moving to avoid the man and closer to her home yet she was tugged back. Even though, from what she could see, the man seemed rather thin he held a strong grip and placed her over his shoulder.

"I'm taking you to a boat that will get you somewhere safe." Was all he stated yet she didn't pay attention. She was too busy kicking and calling out to her family. She noticed how the man carried her with one arm and when they approached the docks, they boarded on a boat. He quickly lead her to the bottom and rested her on the ground, beneath some hay.

She couldn't remember much after that. She was a mixture of depression, anger and confusion. She was crying, sometimes yelling at her savior in her fit of emotions, sometimes crying in his arms. He sat there and let her do what she did. She fell asleep on the boat and when she awoken, she was within a bed in an Inn room. She discovered the man placed her within a town called Aleport, the inn keeper making a comment about his 'piercing, golden gaze'. Apparently, he payed for her to stay for a week and, to keep herself busy and her mind off things, she did odd tasks around the area and soon ventured for the City-State Limsa Lominsa, if she had remaining family and the man who saved her long ago.

Even though it is not commonly seen, weapons can be found within her shop that she has made but when questioned, she simply states that they are her own. The weapons range from an axe, bow and arrows and daggers.

When one looks to Yuki on a daily life, they will see a sometimes clumsy woman when she isn't around a burning furnace or hot pokers and certainly wouldn't expect the woman to hold knowledge about using a weapon.

Since she as younger, Yuki was being trained to use the basic of weapons. One of her mothers were known to be a warrior with a large axe while the other knew how to use a bow and arrow skillfully. When asked, Yuki will casually say that she doesn't hold skills as great as them but if one was to look further for remaining people from her village, they wouldn't help much either..

No, Yuki doesn't seem to know much of weapons but rumors lead others to believe she does possess some type of abilities with weapons and something with a bit of magic involved..</spoiler>

Azeiox is one to be reclusive and keeps his distance from people with reasons of his own. He holds a neutral standing with others within Ul'dah. Strong and silent some may say. But the few that do know him understand that there is more than meets the eye with the Elezen sitting within the corner as the group converses.

Within an instant, he can change into a man with no morals, no fear, no regrets and nothing to lose, willing to cut down anyone and anything that would stand in his way of success. While he doesn't look much like it, he practices the fighting style of pugilist and the studies of thaumaturge magicks. One would think that the man is studying such things to grow stronger yet truly, he is harboring dark secrets and tries to control the shadows that follow him.

He is one to take up jobs of different sorts, so long as they do not clash with current interests. He has been seen to use different types of weapons but favors fists weapons most of all yet most are made by himself.

: Holding the height of 6'8, the Elezen is on the slender yet athletic side. His skin is of a greyish tone, showing he is a Duskwight lineage. While his torso is not being covered by longer clothing, a tribal looking tattoo is etched across his flesh, a reminder of his past. On his back rests the burned scar in the shape of a spider, covering his whole back. Naturally, he is an Albino and his natural hair color is of a pure white shade with sanguine stained orbs and ivory skin. However, thanks to the help of Nymira, he is able to actually appear as a Duskwight, changing his skin tone to the shade it is now and dark hair. He was unable to change his eye color and due to an accident, he now must wear a patch over his left eye, which was left nearly blinded due to the wound.

: Quiet, thinking thoroughly and distant are few words that can describe one side. Those who truly know him and seen the other side would call him brutally honest, unforgiving destructive and a bit on the sadistic side when he is pushed past his limits. Depending on what the subject is would differ which side you get. He isn't known to smile or laugh yet is rather insightful.

: If not locked within a library or training, he can be seen hanging about the Free Wings Society's Company Housing or is possibly off training within Gridania or Thanalan.

:<b>Aetherical Skills:</b> His skills with Thaumaturge magic grows with each day as he learns more but understands the dangerous of pushing things too far. He is skilled with the basics of the magic yet is still seen as a novice compared to others.

:<b>'Crimson' and 'Tear'":</b> The two fist weapons he has been seen to use on numerous occasions. The weapons are more so daggers with curled tips made to dig into the flesh of the victim melded into the ebony metal. There is a slight slight, giving the weapon the appearance of 'claws'. Both weapons are identical to one another. The origins of the weapons remain unknown to even the man wielding them.

Azeiox held a rather normal childhood. Aside from the usual hardships of any child, Duskwight or not, things were rather normal and something he was quite content with. His father, Vinic Nelles, trained him to use weapons at a younger age, believing it would be best to learn young. Even if his mother, Zenel Nelles, didn't quite agree with it, she allowed it. He'd return home with a wound every now and then but nothing to be alarmed by. She took it upon herself to show her son what magic she did know, which was a mixture of different types but nothing too strong or harmful. He grew up being well educated from his family and the friends they held.

He has been one to keep to himself and quiet since he was young yet others simply associated it with the fact that he was simply a shy child, which wasn't far from the truth. He was never one to go out and try to make friends, being content with the stories he read in books. Yet it was within the contents of his home did he meet the first person that approached him willingly, neither of them knowing the plans that was already set within motion.

Her name was Synarel Vastel, a young girl that was the same age as him. He remembered seeing her before, at a few gatherings his family attended. She was someone he would now call, being old enough to understand it, a rare beauty. She was a Duskwight Elezen as well with a fragile form. Her skin looked to be a light shade of grey and while she was within the sun, it was difficult to tell she was of Dusk lineage. Silver orbs with a touch of blue were like open doors and she greeted him with a smile. Even when he was young, he was taken aback by both her beauty and kindness. Her brother, Venar, which he too held the rare beauty to his sister, met Azeiox soon after. It was hard to tell the two apart, Venar and Synarel, when they were younger. The trio become close rather quickly and nearly inseparable. They discovered new things, taught and protected one another as they grew older. When they finally came to their adolescent years, they all knew each other from the inside out. Over their childhood, they met the Valeroyant and Shiran Family, their children being Nymira, Armand, and Erath from the Valeroyant, Shiran Mitsuki, Mizore and Airyn.

However, when the trio started to discover relationships with others of the opposite sex, Venar and Synarel were the ones to branch out. Azeiox was simply happy to be there for his friends and didn't jump into it quickly like his close friends have. His views of the opposite sex and even the same sex, was different than others. He didn't quite see men or women but merely people and what they were of instead of viewing them based off of sex. It was during this time and because of those views that he did discover feelings for one of his close friends, Venar. He was distant from it but Venar, who grew to become quite popular with women like his sister with men, knew what it was that he felt and even reacted on it. They held a relationship that only Synarel knew of and even approved of and, for awhile, living within simple happiness.

None of them knew what their family planned. It wasn't mentioned until Azeiox's age reached the late teens of his family's plan for him, which was to be married to Synarel. He couldn't go against his parent's wishes, not after how they have been so patient with him and nor could he harm the Vastel family either, people who he saw as family. Even Venar understood and stepped back, no matter how much it harmed them both. Synarel felt guilty but she, too, understood. Later within the year, they became married; Azeiox and Synarel Nelles.

Things went rather well for the years to come. They lived normal, quiet lives within the same area they grew up in but Synarel saw how much it hurt her now husband to be with her. Despite the feelings she held for him, it was her who suggested that Venar and Azeiox continued to be together within secret. It took awhile to convince him but soon, Az agreed. They continued once more with their relationship yet were even more careful then they were prior. It was during one of these secret meetings did they hear of these figures sweeping across the lands and left strange occurrences when they left. It wasn't long until their area decided to have people check the surrounding areas and held tight security to protect their people. Yet the close families rested a bit outside of the village itself and there came a time to where Synarel needed supplies. She was practicing Arcanist magic, took her studies from the old books seriously and even planned a trip to Limsa Lominsa. They heard of the warnings and rumors and Azeiox decided to go with her. Venar decided to go on ahead the night prior to make sure the path was clear of traps, tricks and these figures. The next day, they continued on with their plans, Az and Synarel took off.

They were careful and quiet and Synarel seemed rather calm and at peace. Az, on the other hand, didn't not let his walls fall down, holding claw like weapons, one of many his father taught him to use but was one he favored most. They managed to get to the village and left at dusk. He finally felt like he could breath and even joke with Synarel, continuing their plans for the Limsa Lominsa trip, the first and biggest mistake he made..

They were ambushed by Hyurs, or at least they appeared to be so, their bodies hidden behind cloaks and hoods yet lacked the tips within their hoods to indicate they were Elezen or Miqo'te. Their forms were smaller than a Roegyden but their presence still brought fear. Az quickly pulled Synarel close to him, looking around the area. They were completely surrounded. He leaned forward to whisper within Synarel's ear before they finally broke off of one another. She may not have been skilled with weapons like he was but she knew her spells well. They fought with the group, both calling out for Venar. Az was concentrating on the teachings of his father and taking out the beings, even if it were only for a few moments before he heard the cry of Synarel, something he never heard before. He quickly came to a halt and turned towards her, seeing her being held with a dagger to her neck. It was the first time he has seen her look so scared or even cried. He had to make a difficult choice; Lay his weapons down and give into the beings or take the chance of charging for them.

He chooses to lay his weapons down.

Soon after, he was jumped by a member and felt the prick of a needle seeping into the flesh of his neck. He quickly threw the person off of him but fell to his knees. He felt as if his body was slowly being engulfed by fire from the inside out, sending wave after wave of pain. He struggled to get up, hearing Synarel call out his name, begging the others to leave him alone. His vision became blurred and his breath grew heavy and labored. His pain has only begun, he realized, after he felt physical heat near his back before he felt the scorching pain of actual burning, smelling flesh being cooked. He heard the beings speak but he was too distracted on fighting the unknown substance that was given to him, moving to lay on his back no matter how painful it was, raising his hands to grasp for whatever he could. The laughter of the beings and the cries of Synarel echoed within his mind. He cried out in pain as two others came forth to bind him, his finger landed on the claws and something within him snapped...

He managed to get to his feet, causing one of the men to mock him. When the two continued to move forward, once close enough, he cut them down where they stood, finding strength from an unknown area. The echos of laughter turned into cries of horror as he brought down one person right after the other, shoving his claws through the other's chest, arms, legs, anything he could reach. He couldn't stop himself, as if he lost full control of his body and all he could do was watch the massacre unfold. It wasn't long that Synarel's cries were silenced and Az felt her hands reached up to touch his chest and cheek. Her eyes held something he didn't understand or what to make of. She spoke but he couldn't make the words out. He didn't have to look down to know that she was penetrated by his claws and his arm quickly drew back. Even though he commanded his body to stop, commanded to pick her up and take her somewhere to get help, his body released the claws from her chest after her arms fell and her breathing became slower and slower. He carried her, resting her over his shoulder.

After the horror he witnessed, he committed, he traveled to where their homes were and continued with the massacre, taking out anyone who stood in his way, friend or foe alike. It pained him, to hear the cries of both his families, the begging of him to stop, the cries for the recently deceased before being silenced themselves. The last to be taken out by his hands was his own parents. He will never forget the look upon his father's face before the light left his eyes but what stuck with him most was the last words of his mother, her face stained with tears; ''"Why, Azeiox."''

Az finally managed to break away from the spell that held his body, the fire dying down. He didn't understand why he did this, what happened and when he was laying Synarel down, why he didn't put her out of her painful misery. He broke down before her, the first time he has shed any tears, holding her close to his chest. She was muttering, her hand resting on his chest before her words grew slow. Her final words was the muttering of his name, sounding like she was trying to get his attention then finally passed. He didn't leave the home for hours, sobbing and begging them to return, that he was sorry and that he wanted to go back. He forgot of his own pain for the hours that came, resting her within his lap and held her close, petting her head and sobbed. It took him a while to finally stand, holding her close and rested her outside. Slowly, he moved the corpses of his loved ones outside.

The rain came forth, lightening striking the sky and thunder rumbled. He felt the soothing touch of the rain upon him, soothing the burn on his back but it was as if his body became completely numb. He grabbed a shovel and was digging graves for his departed family, moving like a corpse himself. He carefully placed them within their graves and before he covered their bodies with the dirt, he looked to them all carefully. The last person to be covered with earth was his wife, Synarel. Before he covered her, he held her close within his grasp, placed a kiss on her forehead and finished the burial. The rain washed the blood away from his body but he still felt it clinging to his skin.

It all seemed so.. Strange. He didn't understand many things and was surprised his body was within his control. On the outside, he left no trace of emotion or concern yet on the inside, he was broken. He left the home afterwards, leaving behind the life he once knew but never forgetting. He brought little with him, not much filling the satchel he carried within his arms. He didn't stop his travels for days on end before he finally came to a small village, located within the Black Shroud. He was very off putting to the others, his body concealed with a cloak and hood. Never speaking, never raising his head, he drifted from village to village before entering Gridania. He heard of the rumors from those wretched beings and plotted to search for them, make them pay for what they did to him. That is.. If they were the ones to truly blame..

Az continued his travels, following any word on these beings.
Days turned to weeks.
Weeks turned to months.
And months turned to years.
Even after the calamity, he searched and within his travels, saw more pain and misery. There were times where he blacked out and awoke somewhere new, his body drenched within crimson once more. It wasn't long until they became more and more frequent. He wandered streets, deserts, and forests until he stumbled upon two people he remembered within his past; Nymira Valeroyant and the Shiran siblings, Airyn and Mizore. Nymira was the first to learn of his acts, or 'sins' he called them and was the one that assisted him with stabling himself through Alchemy and was the one to create the tattoo he now wears, the tattoo working as a seal. The Shiran siblings didn't find out until he departed for a short period for Thanalan, to search the streets of Ul'dah for the beings, where he searches to this day.

After they left and met up later, things were different and it wasn't long until he left her side completely.

<b>T'shina Vashka</b> (pronounced <i>Tuh-shee-nah Vah-shh-kah</i>) was born to the Condor (T) Tribe, sired by one of the three Nunhs, T'vashka Nunh, and the Seamstress T'morah Grosta originally of the Eft (E) tribe. No longer associated with the Condor Tribe other than blood relation, T'shina has created the Aurora Tribe, a mixed tribe of Keepers and Seekers who value the traditional values that Tribes give the Miqo'te and a way to merge this with city life to modernize.

By appearance, T'shina is easy to look over. Nothing about her screams that she is remarkable but quite average in a lot of things. Her appearance often not as well kept as most Miqo'te that can be found in the city. The young woman is a little shorter than average, often causing for her to be teased for her height and has caused a bit of a complex. Her stature can often be that of bent or slouched when she doesn't think eyes are on her but when she is conversing with someone she will straighten up and become more prominent in her stature. Her own dominance coming into play. Her skin is often pale but the longer she has been in the exposure of the desert sun the darker it has gotten to adjust to the climate. Along her cheekbones she has freckles that come out more the more she is exposed to the sun and along her shoulders, collarbone and hipbones there are a noticeable amount of the little peppered dots that give her skin a little more character. Along her cheeks there are a pair of stripes that nearly blend with her skin tone, natural from her heritage on her mother's side, the stripes also being found along her hips, two over the hip bones and barely noticed with the blending of tone. Her ears and tail are often quite expressive, particularly her ears as they are often in motion. Her tail can often be seen in a relaxed state unless annoyed or if she is seeking her own comforts.

Her face can be seen as round in appearance making her seem quite youthful and making her pouts seem even that more childish when she huffs and puffs. Her lips plush and full with a natural dark tone to them that accentuate each expression a little more because of their prominence in her features. Behind these full lips would be a set of fangs known to Miqo'te but due to her Seeker heritage they are not as pronounced as that of her moon walking cousins. Her eyes are large and almond shaped, with large irises and the signature slitted pupil that is the trademark of the Seeker clan. The color a dark, deep royal blue making it difficult to see the pupil that has caused her to be mistaken for a Keeper on more than one occassion. These eyes often hidden behind her bangs slightly but ever watching the things around her and doing her best to catch the little details so that she doesn't miss a thing. Along her nose there is a noticeable scar. Her eyebrows are thin and often furrowed due to her need to analyze everything around her, though often they are hidden behind her thick bangs. Her hair is cut short in the back to keep of her neck so she doesn't get too hot and long in the front and gathered up in hair clips so that it is easier to manage. Keeping the length makes her feel more effeminate. The color a deep coal and scattered through out being the natural white hairs that often is tipped.

With clothing, the girl doesn't often wear anything that could be considered nice. The nicest thing she owns would be the hempen tunic that she was mistaken for a dress but she wears anyway. Most of her clothing is worn out and some of it looks as if it has been patched up before. The color often prominent in her palette of colors being a dark red as it is her favorite. Most of her clothing does not fit properly and is often seen as too big, due to when she lived with the Condor tribe most of her clothing was loose and flowing as it were and only covered what was necessary when it came to weather. Her boots are well taken care of as she believes that a good pair of boots is all you need when you are traveling. Often she carries a knife but she always carries her shortbow with her, not feeling comfortable without a weapon of sorts. If she is ever without a weapon it is best to be assumed that she is paranoid and looking for one in nearby items.

When first meeting her she can be seen as cold and stand offish. This is something that she has developed since she was young to protect herself emotionally after being emotionally abused in her youth. This often results in her coming off as closed off with how she stands and the way she looks at others. By watching them, studying them, and trying to predict their next action by her observations. All of this stemming from her distrust for others and how hard it is for her to do so.

Becoming on friendly terms however is not difficult and she will open up and speak quite willfully. She enjoys conversation and can usually talk about any given thing whether it turn into a debate or just continuous agreement. Her morals and all that she is often laid out before others easily when you do get her talking. However, just because she will talk does not mean she will give out all her secrets or the secrets of her friends. She is quite careful about important information and feels that most information about herself cannot be used against her. When you do get her to talk about more personal things she is starting to gain a small amount of trust for you and has then started to call you a friend but do keep in mind, that does not mean she trusts you. Not at all.

Trust is something that she doesn't give very willingly and only a few people have it. These people able to be counted on one hand though she does want to be able to rely on others and others on her. This is causing a distress in the girl as she does want to trust others but her own paranoia and the people who have hurt her in the past get the better of her and she can easily find reasons to not trust someone. There are stages to knowing when you have gained any form of trust though.

The first step you will notice, should you be paying attention, is a thing she has about people touching her. Often if you are a stranger or someone that she has not had any interaction with, she does not like being touched. When you have become acquainted enough then things will become more just a shoulder bump, hip bump, shaking hands or a tentative hug. More trust will gain her touching you with her tail and maybe, just maybe, her letting you touch her ears. Though the ears are a thing that bothers her because she doesn't understand the fascination with them. When she has completely given her trust she actually will be a very touchy person. She likes to feel the contact of being around others and knowing that someone is there to watch out for her just as she is there to watch out for them.

On top of gaining her trust and allowing her to open up that stand offish shell seems to melt right off. She does her best to seem mature and level headed and in most cases she is. She's very passionate about many things and stubborn in her beliefs and feelings. But she will get excited fairly easily and not be afraid to show her little panics and insecurities (which there are many of). These small behaviors have gotten her called cute (which she will profusely deny that this exists). But overall she seems to be a more empathetic person once she has opened up.

She has now lived past the expectancy that the Seers of the Condor Tribe had expected of her. It was removed around the age of 6 or 7.
::* Has a heightened sense of smell due to the distorted eyesight as a child, body making up for the downfall. It is now something that makes it difficult for her to be in certain situations. (Cannot be around a Malboro. Period.)

::* <b>Plot Point!</b> The Shadows and Aetheric Pool: A pool of aether sits where the surgical point and scar is when she had the surgery to remove her tumor. This pool of aether feeds off of her negative energies, fueling shadow like aether manifestations. These shadows are never seen but can be heard when she is in complete distress or panic. They have been known to go after those that have tried to remove the aetheric pool during the process but have yet to cause damage to others. These shadows also feed into her insecurities and doubts and should the doubts become too strong she has gone into a deep sleep and when no one is around the shadows have pulled at her harmed her to further give her fears to feed themselves. Those who can see aether will notice the concentration of aether but the shadows are rarely around when she is around other people. Should she be caught and the Shadows believe she is alone, the shadows can be seen in a similar aether reading as Void magic but not completely so. Their appearance are that of shadow like ghosts with long fingers with sharpened ends. Their eyes are holes that go all the way through and their mouth is often is seen as if it sucking the air around them to pull in the negativity. As of now, no actual 'cure' has been found.

Together they were able to keep each other's spirits up and it was together that they left their tribe to find their happiness. It was because of this that he was the one who had made the deal with Cyril Locke to get the surgery that Shina needed. It was he who pushed her to find more for herself, knowing that she would never truly feel comfortable within the tribe nor be happy. However, he wanted to hear her stories of her travels and know what she is doing so he asks that she does visit. The one thing he has always told her was to follow her dreams and "Do what makes you happy." He has supported her decision in starting her own clan as it follows his advice to make herself happy and he believes that is the path in which she was suppose to take.

She tries to teach Ado all the things in the world that she can when she can so that he'll be alright. Happy to take him out and about in the world and even gave him a wooden sword to play with. After a falling out with his mother, T'shina has not been able to see the little boy she has grown fond of and she finds it leaves a dull aching pain when she thinks about it, realizing she did love the little boy as if he were her own. Still she keeps her eyes out for him every time she is in Ul'dah.

T'shina has been known to visit her weekly just to check up on her.

Chika has offered to teach her many things when it comes to domestic life that T'shina can't seem to grasp properly like cooking but due to Chika living in La Noscea it has been hard to visit her to learn these skills.

She does like to sit and listen to his stories and she will stand by that he tells some of the best. Though recently she had received a letter from Ox telling her that an incident had happened and that he is now the Highlander known as Ghislan Nightwing. T'shina knows that the name is familiar but that is all and does not truly understand the implications of what had happened, which is often when it comes to the type of magic that Ox, or now Ghislan, is associated with.

They retained their friendship even when he said he didn't want a relationship because of a condition that he has. Despite knowing this she did grow a jealousy streak but did her best to hide it. Eventually, Tenha'a did ask her to be his mate, feeling for her the same way and wanting to be with someone he trusted. They've been together since and she has been doing her best to try and help him with his condition. However, his behavior often leads to much of her own insecurities and doubts when it comes to her illness.

The Aurora is a tribe based off of mixed traditions in the evolving world of Eorzea and the need to move with the times as well as preserving old traditions that give the Miqo'te their culture. Keeping to the traditional value of having a tribe to build community and give safety to the members of the tribe and to give a sense of comfort. Mixing both Seeker and Keeper traditions of having ceremonies, gathering and having a sense of order to further create a growing atmosphere for the future of Miqo'te and their life connected with the city but remembering and continuing to celebrate their roots as more tribal beings. In the Aurora there are no Matriarchs or Nunhs. There is no superiority of females as there are in Keepers and there are no exclusive breeding rights as there are in Seekers. Everyone is equal and all have a right to choose.

There are many traditions that will come to shape the Aurora as things go on. What has become very important is blending the two cultures of both Keeper and Seeker traditions and modernizing where it is needed to move with the times that are shaping the world around them.

They are left there for three days and must fend for themselves without going to the towns. On the third day they meet with the Leader and/or Council member to be received back to the clan. A celebration is then scheduled for their return and there is a feast. The Initiate is then named a member of the clan and painted with black by the Leader. As most know, the world has changed and many date and take time in choosing their life mate. However, traditions should be upheld when a mate is finally chosen in the more permanent manner. It usually starts with the male or should it be two women or two men, one will step forward to the other. They will present a gift but it is usually not jewelry but a token of affection that shows their own skill that they are able to care for the other. Traditionally, a woman will accept the gift and should she agree to the marriage she will make a gift in return, often to depict that she can take care of the home. Often it is a piece of embroidery. However, this gift can be whatever is suited. When a gift is returned then it shows an acceptance and they will announce to the Council of their decision. In old traditions they would be presented by the leaders of the clan and that would be done. However, the Aurora have adapted the tradition to constitute more city like traditions of a marriage ceremony where the pair will dress nicely and say their vows before the clan and friends. This is one of the few celebrations that will include those outside of the clan. After the ceremony their will be a celebration with singing, dancing, drink and food. After the celebration it is expected that the couple to disappear for a few days.
::*'''Coming of Life''' - When a life is to come to the clan it is a cause for celebration in itself. New life is something to always celebrate no matter the circumstances. Those who are healers and are versed in the care of children will often meet with the mother and/or father regularly to make sure that both are mentally sound and that the mother is remaining healthy. Raising a child is something done by the clan but primarily by the mother and so all must be prepared. There is a day of quiet on the day of the birth to give the mother a chance to relax and often keep stresses from her so that she can bond with her newborn. Once the child is two weeks old they are presented to the clan and there is a more humble celebration. The chlid is marked with a black dot at their forehead to signify that they are accepted among the clan.

The body is often dressed in something nice that represents who they were and laid upon a pyre as prayers and time is taken to say good bye to the mortal form. <div align="justify">Chika Ito (pronounced Chi-ca E-toe) comes from a very strict tribe, that consists of three families. The Ito tribe expands through nine generations, and are rather known for their wild way of living separated from society, and how they are savages when in battles. Unlike most Keepers of the Moon, and Miqo'tes in general, the tribe lived near Ul'dah for quite sometime before locating back to the South Shroud. Chika hardly lives in her home on the tribe's piece of land, where all the tribe members mostly live. Instead she now lives outside of Red Rooster Stead with her lover, and children.

She has become the matriarch of her tribe, but still travels a lot outside of their grounds. Instead she makes a trip there several times a week to check on things.</div>

Reflecting the untamed personality she exerts in her daily life, her appearance seems to mirror it. On endless toned, but lithe limbs, the woman stands at five fulms and nine ilms, the maximum height of a Miqo'te female. Proportional with her lithe physique, and agile height, she comes in at one hundred thirty ponz. Certainly she is not made outright for hand to hand combat, but lingering in a defined feminine body a muscular system exists strength. Hidden potential to do devastating damage. One may easily assume that the woman has no actual muscle mass, do not let your eyes play tricks on you. From the age of five she was trained in hand to hand combat, that pairs wonderfully with her teachings of an archer, for if she ever finds herself disarmed she may quickly strike, and defend herself accordingly. Hailing from well kept genetics Chika is not classified as unattractive. Curves are voluptuous, carved delicately out of the stature of the woman, and her hip beautiful and generous as well as full from bearing children. Each dip, and detail, is tender never giving way to the predator that lurks within. The heated flesh that covers her body is stained a delicious, and rather tantalizing, caramel hue. Succulent mountains of tenderness adorn the Miqo'te's chest, and her bust is considerably large for her race. With the sea of caramel flesh, warm and soft, along with delicate womanly curves with her gorgoues features, the woman holds an inviting appearance. Once before her hair was long. Gossamer threads stained the darkest shade of auburn. Running wild throughout the claret strands are highlights consisting of ebony hues. After passing her family's test at the age of sixteen she has cut her hair short, and has kept it that way since. Often it is pushed up, and back, with a few strands of velvet escaping the hold and cradling her exotic features. Now she has dyed her hair ebony with claret highlights. Out of everything, though, the most prominent feature on Chika are her eyes. Pools of enchanting shades of wine red, coating each iris with their vibrant colors.

On the outside she may appear to be an attractive woman, but this is not the case for beneath the clothes she conceals herself in (almost constantly) there are imperfections. Scars line her back from the cruelty of men. While they are not raised knotted mountains of scar tissue, the are fairly smooth and noticeable due to their pigment. While most of her flesh is a enchanting caramel shade the scars that are scattered about her back are a medium cream color. These marks were formed from whips.

●On her lower right abdomen, close to the right ovary, is a small mass of scar tissue inflicted in battle which she overthrew Vy from her position of power.<br>
●12/15/2013 - Chika was in Limsa shopping with her fiancee, now missing, Arli. The pair had split up to do holiday shopping, so she was alone. While she was browsing through a fabric stall an old, and abusive, client she use to 'tend' to back in the brothel approached her. He tried convincing her to sleep with him, and when she said no he grabbed hold of her. Chika struck out violently to protect herself, and in the backlash from him, the flesh over her left eye took damage. Now there is a visible scar there.<br>

<center><b>The Ito Tribe</b></center>
The Ito Tribe is a clan consisting of three family tribes brought together, which is rare among the Keepers of the Moon. The family's are; Ito, Skyla, Verve. Everyone in the Skyla, and Verve, family clans were brought into the Ito tribe by marriage (or mating) to a member of the Ito family. Expanding through nine generations the Ito family has withstood the test of time. They are not your typical Keeper of the Moon tribe, or clan. Not only because of the number of other family units that have merged with the Ito tribe, but also due to the fact their methods they carry on throughout life. Much like Seeker society, these Keepers have a strict code, and value on how they do things. Often it makes others believe that this family is taboo.<br>
This tribe lives rather far off of the grid from civilization. Far before the Calamity the tribe cut ties with cities, and villages, severing the need to depend on others to live. The Ito tribe become fully self-sufficient, and has remained that way for at least six generations. Over fifty-percent of their land is dedicated to growing food, and raising live stock. The children are raised knowing the basics of cooking, weaving, and leather working so they can craft clothes, and be able to make materials for their portable homes with ease.

<b>Heir;</b> typically the first born daughter to the matriarch, but it can be someone of her choosing as long as they are part Ito<br>
<b>Scion;</b> children of the matriarch that are not picked to become the heir, but they hold some sway of power in the tribe<br>
<b>The Council;</b> this is a special rank consisted of the oldest, and wisest, members of the tribe. They are there to help create laws for the tribe, and to take some of the weight of ruling alone off of the matriarch's shoulders. Their word is highly revered, for children are raised to respect their elders<br>
<b>Sentries;</b> these are people of the tribe hand picked by the matriarch to stay in the tree tops, and patrol the boundaries of the tribal grounds. It is their job to keep unauthorized persons out, as well as alert the tribe to any potential threats<br>
<b>Warriors;</b> a warrior is someone who shows promise when it comes to fighting. They are loyal, devoted members to the tribe, and its matriarch, and will do anything to protect the tribe's members<br>
<b>Hunters;</b> hunters are the people in charge of going out into the wilderness, and bringing home the wild game for the tribe. During the winter months when crops have a harder time growing, and they don't want to dip into the live stock population to feed the entire tribe, hunters are often sent out to comb the Shrouds, and even Thanalan, to kill prey and cart it back home. In the spring, and summer, months they often do not need to go out<br>
<b>Botanists;</b> these are the gatherers. They not only go out to gather fruits, vegetables, and other vegetation (like spices, and herbs) but they are also the farmers of the tribe. During the spring, and summer, months they tend to the orchards and farmlands on the tribal grounds. Colder months are spent venturing out to warmer places to retrieve food<br>
<b>Member;</b> merely a member of the tribe who doesn't have a job

<center><b>Classes & Training</b></center>
What is unique about the family, and has gained them a secure foothold in continuing throughout the ages, is their way of fighting. In battles those born within this tribe fight for survival, and are incredibly vicious. There is no fear of death, no fear of killing another, and no fear of blood spilling for it is natural to them. Ito members are brutal, and often they are considered savages when locked in a brawl. From the moment a youngster can walk, whether male or female, they are taught fighting. For the first five years of training they must learn the arts, and walk the incessant path of the Pugilist. So from the age of four (or five in some cases) to ten an Ito is trained daily, and rather harshly, the way of a Pugilist. It is so that if they are ever disarmed they will still have a chance of survival. Also during this period time is taken to show the youths the basics of being an apothecary so that way they may tend to their wounds after battle. Upon reaching their tenth birthday they may finally pick their destined class. For males they mostly pick becoming Gladiator, Marauder, or Lancer. Females typically delve into the world of magic, or archery. For eight years (age 10-18) they are put through more extensive training on a daily basis. In the mornings they continue their leanings of being a Pugilist, and then in the evenings they study, and work on their chosen course. Finally at the age of eighteen, what this tribe considers the threshold of adulthood, they are given a test (see Xuízo Week for more information).

<center><b>Rituals</b></center>
This is what makes the Ito tribe taboo. They are not like other Keeper clans, and below are some of the main reasons. Rituals play a pivotal role within the tribe's dynamics, and its future. Below are several rituals that take place.<br>
<b>Courting</b> - The Ito tribe has learned a lot from the Seekers of the Sun, and often mimic the courting ritual. First the suitor (preferably male, but a female can court another female) must present the woman with a token of his affection. This can be anything. From jewelry, to hand made carvings. This token should be made out of durable material so it can withstand the test of time. It symbolizes the person doing the courting has ever lasting love for the woman. Once the suitor has provided a token of his (or her) affection they must do battle with the woman they so wish to wed. This battle is unlike most. It is not meant to cause injury, but to be a graceful dance involving weapons between the suitor, and the one being courted. Fighting to the heavy drums, and other instruments, the fighting dance is elegant and a sight to behold.<br>
<b>Claiming/mating</b> - There are several steps in the ritual that a couple must complete in order to be fully mated, and bound to one another for life. Below at the steps.<br>
■Public ritual: After the exchange of the wedding vows the matriarch takes a blessed dagger. The groom offers out his (or her) left hand, and the bride offers her right. With the dagger an incision is made in the palm that the groom and bride hold out. Ensuring that some blood escapes from these shallow gashes the matriarch then instructs the bride and groom to join said hands, and press the cuts together. Once this is complete the matriarch then ties a rope around their hands and wrists, symbolizing the eternal link between the newly weds. Sharing blood is the Ito way of sharing everything with your life long partner from your souls, to your blood.<br>
■Private ritual: After the wedding feast, and the two are considered newly weds, the couple is whisked away to a private place within The Black Shroud. Here the Ito tribe has a small cozy cottage. Fully furnished the newly weds spend their honeymoon here, and complete the rest of the ritual. Their first step, after unpacking, is to run a hot bubble bath. Guided by the candlelight in the room the groom and the bride must bathe each other. This symbolizes them washing away their lover's sins, and past romances and sexual interactions with others. It allows their lover to become pure again. After the bath the couple is expected to consummate their marriage. During this two marks are given by biting. One on the neck to show the public that they are claimed, and all of their being is given to their spouse. Another is placed on the inside of the right thigh to signify that they claim their mate's body as their own, and no other may bring any sexual pleasure or gratification to their mate.<br>
<b>Xuízo Week</b> - Xuízo (meaning judgement) Week is the week that the test occurs. This test determines whether or not a youth crosses the threshold to adulthood (in the tribe's eyes), whether the youth gets the ability to breed, and if the youth may leave the tribal grounds to find work in the cities. Not just those things, but it also helps establish a youth's status in the tribal ranks. In this test they are expected to fight against the matriarch in that present time. One week of each season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter) is dedicated to Xuízo Day. It happens every season so when a youth reaches their eighteenth name-day they may take part in the test. Every day, for seven days, the youths that have reached the eighteenth mark of their life span will be tested. Usually only three youths are tested each day. Originally it was known as Xuízo Day, but as the tribe's numbers expanded they eventually increased it to a week so that all the youths may have the chance to take the test. Also so the matriarch isn't so overloaded. During this test real weapons are used, and often there are injuries. Hardly does it result in casualties. Everyone is expected to watch this ritual, and the parents of the youths being tested must not interfere no matter how wounded their child is.<br>
<b>Coming of age</b> - Technically when a youth reaches puberty they are considered coming into age. Not here within the Ito Tribe. No, the coming of age ritual takes place on Xuízo Week. That is only if the youth passes the test. Should a youth pass the night they succeed, and are the victor in their match against the matriarch, they must first bathe the battle from their body in a tub full of salt water. This water is pure spring water with salt just added to it. The salt is blessed by the elders of the tribe, but what makes this a feat of strength is often the youths have sustained injuries from their test, and these wounds are very fresh for the bath takes place directly after the battle. No youth may cry, or whimper, during this bath no matter how painful the salt is in their wounds. Them enduring anguish is the first step past the threshold. Once their bath is complete the youth is blindfolded, clothed only in undergarments, and taken to a random spot in the desert lands surrounding Ul'dah. Dropped off with no resources at their disposal, and no shoes or protective clothing, they must find their way home. This is honestly the turning point in the coming of age trial. They are given the choice when their blindfold is removed. They may either go to Ul'dah, and shed their birth name, and leave the tribe (in which they are forever banished). Or said youth may make the journey home, and claim their spot in the tribe. Should the youth choose to come home upon their arrival they are dressed in ceremonial robes. Each robe is custom made for each youth starting from their birth, and expanding through their life. The test, among other notable events like their birth and the such, are weaved into the silk fabric of their robe. Finally a feast is held in their honor, and at the end of the dinner the matriarch gives the youth a chalice with an inch of ancient wine in it. Drinking the liquid finalizes that they have passed all trials in order to be considered an adult, in order to get a rank, and in order to breed.

<center><b>Festivals</b></center>
<b>Blessing of the new born</b> - Celebrating life is something the clan prides itself on, for new life is refreshing much like the rain, and the moon along with the night. When a female is expecting a child it is a time for not just celebrations, but for preparing. When a woman goes into labor the family starts to gather at the home of the expecting parents, or expecting mother. Once the child is born a blessing ceremony is preformed when the moon is at its highest point in the heavens. This is when they begin to send prayers to Menphina asking her to guide, and watch over the new born throughout their life. While this is happening the elders of the tribe prepare a bath for the new born. The water is from the snow of the tallest point of the tallest summit. Snow is melted down before adding it to the bath. From here it is not warmed up any further, but actually cooled down. A white mage blesses several medicinal herbs, and herbs that are thought of to give strength and fortune, before placing it in the water. That is when the white mage blesses the water as well. From extra herbs a thick sap substance is made. The oldest elder then takes the new born, and dunks the baby beneath the cold water. Withdrawing the infant from the waters the sap is spread onto their forehead. The Ito tribe believes that this will help seal their prayers to Menphina, and that she will proceed to bless the baby throughout his or her life.<br>
<b>Feast of the new year</b> - When the new year comes around the family clan gathers at the tribe's homestead to celebrate, and yes attendance is mandatory. The morning of the eve before the new year reigns in men and woman alike begin to prepare a large feast. Children are exempt from this, and any youth that is in training gets to take this day, and the day of the new year, off. Other than the blessing of a new born this is the biggest gathering the tribe sees all year. Elders sit around with each other to tell their tales, and life experience to youngsters, while the working hands hunt and gather food to provide for the feast. Meanwhile a group of men go into the woods, and cut several trees down for the bonfire that is lit as darkness sets. This feast is suppose to be fun so there are a lot of games for everyone to partake in. When the sun sets the fire is lit, and the food is served, and everyone sits down to eat a hearty meal while enjoying the great company of family.<br>
<b>Death</b> - Yes death is very much cause for celebration in this tribe for death doesn't represent an impending end, but rather a chance for their loved ones to soar to the sky and be enveloped in the Moon goddess's arms. Mourning, and crying, is a shameful act to be seen, and may only be done in private. In public one must keep themselves composed, and be joyful that the deceased family member can go meet Menphina. Cheerful music is played, and yet again another time where food is presented, and the youths can take a day off from training.

Nessa had never been with a woman before so Chika spent the gil to hire her for an evening. There were sparks instantly. The next day Chika returned, and happened upon T'urnessa as she was reading in Falcon's room. They spent hours talking about books, and romance. Along with how Nessa should never give up hope in finding true love. A day, or so later, they went to Forgotten Springs and had a mini-date where they both shared the confession that they were starting to develop emotional attachments of romance to one another. This is how they entered a secret relationship. That weekend Chika whisked T'urnessa away to a cabin at Hidden Falls. This helped strengthen their love for one another. Their last night there Chika told Nessa she can come live with her when Nessa decided to leave TF's business. Later the next week T'urness ended up leaving Towering's business for good, and ended up on Chika's door step. Since then things have gone splendidly! The two are hardly ever apart from each other, and she has even adopted Chika's previous children on as her own. Chika took a fantasia, and the two have sired a child together. Recently they wed in a private ceremony on the Ito tribal grounds. Mrs Chika and T'urnessa Ito consider one another life mates. Meaning in their minds, and hearts, they are bound to each other for this life time and eternity. T'urnessa is not only Chika's life mate, and wife, but her greatest friend as well.

Chika had once thought he could be a possible friend, but due to recent interactions with the Tia he has begun to work on his nerves with his lack of tact, and hos easily he shrugs off the Aurora clan.<br>

Their interactions, while few and far between, end up making her smile and laugh. He tends to pick on Chika a lot, teasing her about her secret love for penis, but it never seems to get on her nerves when he does this. A lot of it is because this man is her good friend, T'shina's, mate.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[T'shina Vashka]] : T'shina had stumbled upon Chika when the mocha Keeper was playing the violin in Thanalan. She is actually one of the few that actually ever heard the matriarch play music. From then the two stumbled upon each other in Bentbranch, where Shina has asked if Chika would like to assist Free Wing Society, and her, on a mission into Haukke Manor. Their friendship has been through some trials. Including when Chika attacked Toff she had lost the respect of T'shina, and Miss. Vashka was greatly disappointed in her. Since then Chika has been working on restoring the respect Shina once had. Most of the time they spend together is spent talking about their lives, and the happenings in them. Sometimes Chika even offers advice. When T'shina left Free Wing Society Chika was quick to follow due to the fact her loyalty is to this woman. While they do not fully trust each other, Chika has placed some trust in this Seeker. She likes to consider T'shina a close friend.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Toff Vaughnn]] : This friendship is a very odd one. Toff, and Chika, met at the Quicksand when Chika was watching over Ado. Things started off great. They talked a lot, and came to know one another through conversations about their pasts. Over time he made his desires known for her. At that time she was with Ai, and had no desire to leave her mate. Toff had crossed a line with her when he was at the springs at Camp Bronze Lake by not only saying Senah was dead and Chika needed to get the hell over it, and by kissing her. Chika told Ai, and Ai confronted Toff about it. Toff severely wounded Chika's mate, and had it not been for Chika'to, Ai would have died. Pissed, and hurt at Toff, Chika attacked him in the Ruby Road Exchange. For some time the two avoided each other like the plague, but made amends after time passed. Chika never truly got over what he did to Ai. Neither of them have talked to each other lately, and Chika wonders if they should still be friends.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[U'zhan Tia]] : A hybrid Miqo'te, half Seeker and half Keeper, that became friends easily with Chika. They often engaged each other in conversations about genetics, and how cruel their own kind can be when it comes to half breeds. They have been spending a considerably amount of time together as of late, and it is something the mocha Keeper has enjoyed. Sonja, and Calista, have taken a shrine to the hybrid. His company is always welcomed.<br>

Outside if Haukke Manor is where the two first encountered each other. He is a five year old Lalafel boy, and has touched her motherly instincts to protect and take care of him when his mother isn't around. She has done this several times, even tricked him into drinking apple juice when he dislikes healthy food. Since leaving the Free Wing Society Chika has found out how much she misses the kid's antics.<br>

Ai had saved her from doing close. This half Hyur, half Elezen, woman had nursed Chika back to health. She even moved in with Chika and began helping to take care of the kids. The horrors of almost dying several times drew Chika closer to Ai. When Alvaro, Chika's father, failed to kill his daughter he tricked Ai into taking a fantasia potion changing Miss. Shira into a man. Even after this the two remained a couple, but after three months of no intimacy, Chika felt a large strain being taken on the relationship. After making love Chika inquired if Ai would ever change back into a woman, and he declined. The two got into an argument, and Chika threw the no intimacy in his face, before running out of the house. Upon returning Ai was gone. Recently Chika found out her ex-lover committed suicide.<br>

Over the course of their friendship, and talks, Chika started to fall in love with Miss. Juste. It turned into a large crush, in which Chika announced while drunk. They've been through troubling times, including Chika nearly dying and Alexia going to Coerthas, but it never seemed to really effect their friendship. After Chika's near death experience Alexia grew rather standoffish, and the two almost got into a physical altercation. After that they never saw each other again, and the love and friendship that once was there withered away.<br>

He can be brash, sometimes rude with his crude humor, and knows what buttons to push to piss Chika off. He had been involved in a relationship with an old friend of hers, and ended up crushing the girl's heart by abandoning her with no goodbye. It left them off in a rather bad spot, and she finds her friendship waning with him.<br>

The two hit it off very well, and she was there when Chika gave birth. Chika had given Arli a home, and shared her family with her. Over the course of months the two became very close, and even were engaged. A week before their wedding Arli disappeared in the middle of the night. Giving no warning, and leaving no note. Since then all the feelings she one held for this woman have long died. Love turned to rather vicious loathing.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Aya Foxheart]] : T'shina Vashka introduced these two when Chika first came to Ul'dah. Aya is a sweet, and sometimes naive, woman who is a waitress at the Quick Sand. They easily hit it off, and Chika finds it hard to not smile when Aya is around. This Midlander woman happens to be very kind, and has a comforting aura around her.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Azeiox Nelles]] : An Elezen man who was dear to Ai. He acted as a protector to the mocha Keeper, but since Ai's death the two have avoided each other all together. Recently they ran into each other during All Saint's Wake, and they discussed their personal issues with what has happened in the past. It's a good start on the road to recovering, and salvaging, a possible friendship but there is a lot of work to be had.<br>
<font style="color:#445e72;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[C'artimeo Nunh]] : It was not friendship at first sight. Oh no, Chika actually tried murdering him for C'artimeo had stolen the antelope she'd be preying on for hours. They were like oil, and water, for the longest time. He was trying to get into her pants, and viewed her as a conquest. She thought of him as an arrogant prick. Time passed, and with much wearing down, C'artimeo convinced her to become his lover. While out with her by a lakeside, his wives and children were murdered by a Tia. He burned down his home, and the remains of his old life, and so Chika took him into her tribe as her first breeding male. Over the course of their time together she became pregnant with his child. When her father poisoned her with dark magic it was at war with her natural aether. In the process of it the fetus became collateral damage, and her body aborted the pregnancy. To this day it still haunts her. After the miscarriage things were never the same. She could no longer look at him, nor love him. Ending their relationship she asked him to leave, and hasn't seen him since.<br>
<font style="color:#FA70BC;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Chompy]] : An adorable little raptor that belongs to her good friend, Zurine Ekaitz. He is the mascot for the free company Envisage of Night. He quickly melted Chika's heart, and often she'd bring him grilled dodo to snack on. What made her adore him even further was his bond with her baby daughter, Calista. She misses him everyday.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Ember Flamestrike]] : Her friendship with this woman is a very strange one. Ember is a scientist. Therefor finds no harm in experimenting on live subjects, such as people. It has always rubbed Chika the wrong way, and she hasn't always agreed with Ember's methods. When she was dying, Ember was the one who found out first, and she came to Chika's aid. To the point Ember risked her life a multitude of times, even offered her home to the matriarch of the Ito tribe. The two have shared in heart to heart moments, but neither will actually admit it. Her sister, Xaio Ito, gave her recent news that Ember has passed away. Something that tears Chika apart for she still has debts to repay to the Roe woman.<br>
<font style="color:#000000;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Enja Niuhali]] : Enja, and Chika, used to be great friends! Chika use to call Enja her paler twin for the two share several facial attributes that are the same. Their friendship started off with Enja coming to 'Sew Beautiful' for a new shirt. From there their friendship blossomed, and once upon a time the two were actually intimate, but it lasted briefly. When Chika was dying Enja had been informed about it, but did not act like the others did. Finding out this bit of information Chika became deeply hurt by her good friend's refusal to help. This has lead to a great rift forming between the two, making the mocha Keeper avoid the pale Seeker.<br>
<font style="color:#000000;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Ennara Calian]] : Chika met this lovely lady when the woman approached her, and made an inquiry about Sew Beautiful, and getting an outfit made by Chika. There were instant sparks between them, leading to intimacy. They encountered each other numerous times since that day, even spent one evening talking about their pasts and what they hoped for the future. Ennara explained to Chika she wouldn't be interested in anything romantic with the matriarch if she was in a relationship. So Chika left Ai. After doing so Ennara told Chika she was going to Coerthas, which didn't sit well with Mrs. Ito. They got into an argument, and Chika stormed off. Their friendship was on rocky terms since, and for a time they fell out of contact. Which lead both to believe neither were interested in getting romantically involved with each other. After a period of silence the two actually sat down, and spoke to one another. Chika gave Ennara a personal link pearl, and she left under the impression that things were fixed. However it has been several months since she heard anything from Miss. Cailan, and she wonders if the woman is okay.<br>
<font style="color:#C24640;" size="3">●</font> [[Graive Elune]] : Mentioning that name around Chika makes the Keeper's blood boil. Graive is much like Ember in the field of science. Lack of emotions, and empathy, and the desire to pick things apart. That isn't what bothers Mrs. Ito. One day Chika's sister, Nadya, had informed the mocha woman that Graive had expressed desire to kill her because she had formed a romantic relationship with Graive's assistant. This made the Keeper furious. To the point that Chika attempted to assassinate Miss. Elune, but was stopped by Alexia Juste. Hate still lingers in her veins for this woman.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Hirokuli Zerokuli]] : A Lalafel that quickly won Chika's friendship. They had met when Chika first joined Envisage of Night, and swiftly became friends. He has a good heart, and makes her laugh a lot. He is one of the very few people she actually can trust.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Kagewoe Erasus]] : Kagewoe, and her, never really use to bother each other. They'd mostly just give one another a chin jut, or a mere 'hello'. Over the course of several hardships their friends faced in Envisage of Night the two began to work together. When Chika was falling ill she confided in the Hyur man. He had actually been there to save her from dying. While no one else, but Ai, could get close he did. He actually slapped the ancient artifact around her throat. His determination, and honesty, is something Chika admires. This is another person she can trust.<br>
<font style="color:#000000;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Kheda'ya Zahre]] : Kheda happened upon Rosa San, the brothel that Chika was employed at. During her time there the two had a sexual interaction, him hiring her for an evening. From this encounter the two parented Chika'a and Chika'to. With Vy in charge, at that time, she took the boys away. It took Chika five years to come in contact with Kheda'ya again, and when they met up she informed him that he has fraternal twin sons. He's been slightly involved in their lives, but made no attempts to be a family with Chika and the boys. Kheda, and Chika, have never really been close and never will be. A fact Chika doesn't mind in the slightest.<br>
<font style="color:#C24640;" size="3">●</font> [[Liandri Mei]] : Chika doesn't often hate people, or make enemies, so it is surprising when someone actually makes that list. This Miqo'te has given her good reason to be an enemy. Their first meeting was brief, but no malice formed of it. Through talks with U'zhan, Chika learned of how Liandri claims to love the hybrid Miqo man, but on the side she sleeps with a Hyur male. In Chika's mind that isn't right. You don't claim to love someone, and sleep with them, only to be laying in the arms of another. It made her feel unease around Miss. Mei. What was the final nail in the coffin was at Rock's beach party. When U'zhan was bid on, and won by T'shina, Miss. Mei had threatened to skin him while standing next to Chika before telling Dante that he was back in her bed again. Joking, or not, Mrs. Ito took this incredibly serious, and should any harm fall on U'zhan by this woman's hand T'shina and Chika agreed to have a race to see who can punish Liandri Mei first.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Licia Kline]] : Leader of Envisage of Night she had many interactions with Chika. They grew close over time, and a long time ago Mrs. Ito use to call Miss. Kline her friend. Licia actually told Chika, and Senah, that they were both pregnant. Licia once had Chika's admiration, and trust, and it strengthened more over enduring hardships together. However, after Licia saved Chika, things went down hill. A Lalafel, that informed the company of why Chika was dying, sacrificed her life. Instead of taking measures to try to save the girl Licia, and others, allowed her to perish. This did not sit well with Kagewoe, Ai, and Chika (when she found out). So it caused a rift in the company. Instead of repairing it, like a leader should, Licia allowed the rift to widen. Chika, along with several others, ended up leaving the company due to it. And so their friendship, and trust, ended.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Lilithium Altair]] : After being without a company for a few weeks Chika was introduced to Miss. Altair by T'shina. A bond of friendship, and respect, was forged. On several missions the two were paired together, and outside of work they spent some time with one another. Chika came to like Lilithium, but a divide was created. Chika's loyalty is to T'shina, for she is the one who brought her to Free Wing Society in the first place. When T'shina left, after Lilithium picked C'kayah over her friendship with Miss. Vashka and her mate, Chika followed. She holds no ill intent, or malice, against Miss. Altair, but harbors no real desire to be friends either unless the Hyur approaches her about it.<br>
<font style="color:#FA70BC;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Nanapo]] : A little Lalafel child she adores greatly. The girl has a rather nasty habit of getting in trouble, but Chika is there to offer help and guidance to the young girl. She feels protective over her like she does with Ado. There isn't anything Chika wouldn't do to help, and protect, Nana.<br>
<font style="color:#FA70BC;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Nymira Valeroyont]] : Nym is a great friend, and one of Chika's best! Mrs. Ito respects, trusts, and loves Nymira. Many times has this woman proven her friendship to Chika. Even taking Chika in when the Keeper was recovering from her near death experience, and taking care of her. They haven't spent much time together since Chika left Free Wing Society, and this is something she regrets greatly for she misses Miss. Valeroyont every day.<br>
<font style="color:#445e72;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Senah Lyehga]] : Senah, and Chika, have known each other since they were young children. The Lyehga family were allied with the Ito tribe when Vy was in power. During political meetings between the families, Senah would be brought to the Ito lands. So what would the two do? Naturally play like all children do! Wrestling, sparing, chasing each other around. Endless hours of fun. As they grew older Chika developed feelings for Senah. When they became teenagers Senah stopped coming on the meetings, and it took many years for them to see each other again. Yet when they did the two became even closer. Eventually dating. At the Bismark Senah proposed to Chika, expressing her desire for family, and love. Happily Chika accepted. Senah is the reason why Chika killed Vy. Before the two wed Chika took a fantasia potion to change her anatomy, and genetic coding. She is the sire to Sierra, the daughter Senah was pregnant with and gave birth to. The fantasia backfired, and Chika became pregnant with Calista. Shortly after Calista's birth Senah, and Chika, were in Coerthas. An Aevis attacked, and a pregnant Senah was foolish and rushed to defend Chika. In doing so she toppled over a cliff with the dragon, and was presumed dead for six months. Only recently she came back into Chika's life, wishing to return to what they once had, but by that time Mrs. Ito had moved on. They don't speak much anymore. Senah picks Calista up for weekends every now and again, and drops off Sierra in exchange. Other than that the two have little to no contact for the pain, and their past, make being around each other rather difficult.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Timari Corala]] : A bond of family was forged with this Keeper, and Chika. Timari is rather shy, withdrawn, and wounded from her abusive past. This brought out Chika's protective motherly instincts, and she often took care of Timari. When Ember vanished Timari was left alone, and so Chika opened her home to Miss. Corala. In exchange Timari cooked, cleaned, and tended to Chika's children for her. However after she received a letter from Miss. Flamestrkike about their relationship ending, Timari disappeared and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Chika is concerned for her old friend's safety, but figures she'll come around when and if she wants to. The absence has put a strain on the friendship, and so Chika is neutral with the woman now.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Towering Falcon]] : She is a lady Roe, and owner of a prostitute business that is based out of Ul'dah. Chika had been suffering from depression, and she had felt unwanted and undesired. Ado introduced the two entirely on accident. Chika likes to think of TF as a friend. Towering asked some 'personal' questions which lead them both back to the Lavender Beds. Here is where Chika hired Lucy Honeypot for a night. Afterward Falcon, and Chika, encountered each other many times. Speaking of possible business with one another. TF even offered Chika a job. She is also how T'urnessa, and Chika, met one another. When Nessa was new, and had never been with a woman, Towering offered her to Chika for fifty thousand gil. To this day Chika will say spending that much was well worth it. For out of this meeting came a glorious, and adorable, relationship with Nessa. Chika is under the impression TF is pissed that Nessa left the business because of Chika. She hasn't had the courage to seek out the Roe yet.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Zurine Ekaitz]] : Chika misses Zurine a lot. Over the course of time the two became good friends with one another. Chika often sought out comfort in Zurine's company, and she hoped the blue woman felt the same way. When Chika was in need of saving Zurine was there. When Chika became an alcoholic Zurine helped get her back on track after Mrs. Ito's miscarriage. Zurine is one of the reasons why Chika regrets leaving Envisage of Night, and she wonders if they'll ever see each other again. Either or Zurine will always be a close friend in Chika's mind.

<div align="justify">Chika Ito (pronounced Chi-ca E-toe) comes from a very strict tribe, that consists of three families. The Ito tribe expands through nine generations, and are rather known for their wild way of living separated from society, and how they are savages when in battles. Unlike most Keepers of the Moon, and Miqo'tes in general, the tribe lived near Ul'dah for quite sometime before locating back to the South Shroud. Chika hardly lives in her home on the tribe's piece of land, where all the tribe members mostly live. Instead she now lives outside of Red Rooster Stead with her lover, and children.

She has become the matriarch of her tribe, but still travels a lot outside of their grounds. Instead she makes a trip there several times a week to check on things.</div>

Reflecting the untamed personality she exerts in her daily life, her appearance seems to mirror it. On endless toned, but lithe limbs, the woman stands at five fulms and three ilms, the maximum height of a Miqo'te female. Proportional with her lithe physique, and agile height, she comes in at one hundred thirty ponz. Certainly she is not made outright for hand to hand combat, but lingering in a defined feminine body a muscular system exists strength. Hidden potential to do devastating damage. One may easily assume that the woman has no actual muscle mass, do not let your eyes play tricks on you. From the age of five she was trained in hand to hand combat, that pairs wonderfully with her teachings of an archer, for if she ever finds herself disarmed she may quickly strike, and defend herself accordingly. Hailing from well kept genetics Chika is not classified as unattractive. Curves are voluptuous, carved delicately out of the stature of the woman, and her hip beautiful and generous as well as full from bearing children. Each dip, and detail, is tender never giving way to the predator that lurks within. The heated flesh that covers her body is stained a delicious, and rather tantalizing, caramel hue. Succulent mountains of tenderness adorn the Miqo'te's chest, and her bust is considerably large for her race. With the sea of caramel flesh, warm and soft, along with delicate womanly curves with her gorgoues features, the woman holds an inviting appearance. Once before her hair was long. Gossamer threads stained the darkest shade of auburn. Running wild throughout the claret strands are highlights consisting of ebony hues. After passing her family's test at the age of sixteen she has cut her hair short, and has kept it that way since. Often it is pushed up, and back, with a few strands of velvet escaping the hold and cradling her exotic features. Now she has dyed her hair ebony with claret highlights. Out of everything, though, the most prominent feature on Chika are her eyes. Pools of enchanting shades of wine red, coating each iris with their vibrant colors.

On the outside she may appear to be an attractive woman, but this is not the case for beneath the clothes she conceals herself in (almost constantly) there are imperfections. Scars line her back from the cruelty of men. While they are not raised knotted mountains of scar tissue, the are fairly smooth and noticeable due to their pigment. While most of her flesh is a enchanting caramel shade the scars that are scattered about her back are a medium cream color. These marks were formed from whips.

●8/24/2013 - Fresh whip lashes on her back. There are only four, and are scabbing over, but the skin around them is still red and inflamed with irritation.<br>
●On her lower right abdomen, close to the right ovary, is a small mass of scar tissue inflicted in battle which she overthrew Vy from her position of power.<br>
●12/15/2013 - Chika was in Limsa shopping with her fiancee, now missing, Arli. The pair had split up to do holiday shopping, so she was alone. While she was browsing through a fabric stall an old, and abusive, client she use to 'tend' to back in the brothel approached her. He tried convincing her to sleep with him, and when she said no he grabbed hold of her. Chika struck out violently to protect herself, and in the backlash from him, the flesh over her left eye took damage. Now there is a visible scar there.<br>
●Faint, small scars litter her knuckles on both hands. When Arli went missing Chika took out her sudden aggression in objects around her house.</div>

<center><b>The Ito Tribe</b></center>
The Ito Tribe is a clan consisting of three family tribes brought together, which is rare among the Keepers of the Moon. The family's are; Ito, Skyla, Verve. Everyone in the Skyla, and Verve, family clans were brought into the Ito tribe by marriage (or mating) to a member of the Ito family. Expanding through nine generations the Ito family has withstood the test of time. They are not your typical Keeper of the Moon tribe, or clan. Not only because of the number of other family units that have merged with the Ito tribe, but also due to the fact their methods they carry on throughout life. Much like Seeker society, these Keepers have a strict code, and value on how they do things. Often it makes others believe that this family is taboo.<br>
This tribe lives rather far off of the grid from civilization. Far before the Calamity the tribe cut ties with cities, and villages, severing the need to depend on others to live. The Ito tribe become fully self-sufficient, and has remained that way for at least six generations. Over fifty-percent of their land is dedicated to growing food, and raising live stock. The children are raised knowing the basics of cooking, weaving, and leather working so they can craft clothes, and be able to make materials for their portable homes with ease.

<center><b>Structure</b></center>
A ranking system was implemented in the tribe long ago to create order, and to avoid chaos. Below is the basic structure. These are some of the ranks, more will be added over time.
<br><b>Matriarch;</b> the woman who leads the tribe<br>
<b>Heir;</b> typically the first born daughter to the matriarch, but it can be someone of her choosing as long as they are part Ito<br>
<b>Scion;</b> children of the matriarch that are not picked to become the heir, but they hold some sway of power in the tribe<br>
<b>The Council;</b> this is a special rank consisted of the oldest, and wisest, members of the tribe. They are there to help create laws for the tribe, and to take some of the weight of ruling alone off of the matriarch's shoulders. Their word is highly revered, for children are raised to respect their elders<br>
<b>Sentries;</b> these are people of the tribe hand picked by the matriarch to stay in the tree tops, and patrol the boundaries of the tribal grounds. It is their job to keep unauthorized persons out, as well as alert the tribe to any potential threats<br>
<b>Warriors;</b> a warrior is someone who shows promise when it comes to fighting. They are loyal, devoted members to the tribe, and its matriarch, and will do anything to protect the tribe's members<br>
<b>Hunters;</b> hunters are the people in charge of going out into the wilderness, and bringing home the wild game for the tribe. During the winter months when crops have a harder time growing, and they don't want to dip into the live stock population to feed the entire tribe, hunters are often sent out to comb the Shrouds, and even Thanalan, to kill prey and cart it back home. In the spring, and summer, months they often do not need to go out<br>
<b>Botanists;</b> these are the gatherers. They not only go out to gather fruits, vegetables, and other vegetation (like spices, and herbs) but they are also the farmers of the tribe. During the spring, and summer, months they tend to the orchards and farmlands on the tribal grounds. Colder months are spent venturing out to warmer places to retrieve food<br>
<b>Member;</b> merely a member of the tribe who doesn't have a job

<center><b>Classes & Training</b></center>
What is unique about the family, and has gained them a secure foothold in continuing throughout the ages, is their way of fighting. In battles those born within this tribe fight for survival, and are incredibly vicious. There is no fear of death, no fear of killing another, and no fear of blood spilling for it is natural to them. Ito members are brutal, and often they are considered savages when locked in a brawl. From the moment a youngster can walk, whether male or female, they are taught fighting. For the first five years of training they must learn the arts, and walk the incessant path of the Pugilist. So from the age of four (or five in some cases) to ten an Ito is trained daily, and rather harshly, the way of a Pugilist. It is so that if they are ever disarmed they will still have a chance of survival. Also during this period time is taken to show the youths the basics of being an apothecary so that way they may tend to their wounds after battle. Upon reaching their tenth birthday they may finally pick their destined class. For males they mostly pick becoming Gladiator, Marauder, or Lancer. Females typically delve into the world of magic, or archery. For eight years (age 10-18) they are put through more extensive training on a daily basis. In the mornings they continue their leanings of being a Pugilist, and then in the evenings they study, and work on their chosen course. Finally at the age of eighteen, what this tribe considers the threshold of adulthood, they are given a test (see Xuízo Week for more information).

<center><b>Rituals</b></center>
This is what makes the Ito tribe taboo. They are not like other Keeper clans, and below are some of the main reasons. Rituals play a pivotal role within the tribe's dynamics, and its future. Below are several rituals that take place.<br>
<b>Courting</b> - The Ito tribe has learned a lot from the Seekers of the Sun, and often mimic the courting ritual. First the suitor (preferably male, but a female can court another female) must present the woman with a token of his affection. This can be anything. From jewelry, to hand made carvings. This token should be made out of durable material so it can withstand the test of time. It symbolizes the person doing the courting has ever lasting love for the woman. Once the suitor has provided a token of his (or her) affection they must do battle with the woman they so wish to wed. This battle is unlike most. It is not meant to cause injury, but to be a graceful dance involving weapons between the suitor, and the one being courted. Fighting to the heavy drums, and other instruments, the fighting dance is elegant and a sight to behold.<br>
<b>Claiming/mating</b> - There are several steps in the ritual that a couple must complete in order to be fully mated, and bound to one another for life. Below at the steps.<br>
■Public ritual: After the exchange of the wedding vows the matriarch takes a blessed dagger. The groom offers out his (or her) left hand, and the bride offers her right. With the dagger an incision is made in the palm that the groom and bride hold out. Ensuring that some blood escapes from these shallow gashes the matriarch then instructs the bride and groom to join said hands, and press the cuts together. Once this is complete the matriarch then ties a rope around their hands and wrists, symbolizing the eternal link between the newly weds. Sharing blood is the Ito way of sharing everything with your life long partner from your souls, to your blood.<br>
■Private ritual: After the wedding feast, and the two are considered newly weds, the couple is whisked away to a private place within The Black Shroud. Here the Ito tribe has a small cozy cottage. Fully furnished the newly weds spend their honeymoon here, and complete the rest of the ritual. Their first step, after unpacking, is to run a hot bubble bath. Guided by the candlelight in the room the groom and the bride must bathe each other. This symbolizes them washing away their lover's sins, and past romances and sexual interactions with others. It allows their lover to become pure again. After the bath the couple is expected to consummate their marriage. During this two marks are given by biting. One on the neck to show the public that they are claimed, and all of their being is given to their spouse. Another is placed on the inside of the right thigh to signify that they claim their mate's body as their own, and no other may bring any sexual pleasure or gratification to their mate.<br>
<b>Xuízo Week</b> - Xuízo (meaning judgement) Week is the week that the test occurs. This test determines whether or not a youth crosses the threshold to adulthood (in the tribe's eyes), whether the youth gets the ability to breed, and if the youth may leave the tribal grounds to find work in the cities. Not just those things, but it also helps establish a youth's status in the tribal ranks. In this test they are expected to fight against the matriarch in that present time. One week of each season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter) is dedicated to Xuízo Day. It happens every season so when a youth reaches their eighteenth name-day they may take part in the test. Every day, for seven days, the youths that have reached the eighteenth mark of their life span will be tested. Usually only three youths are tested each day. Originally it was known as Xuízo Day, but as the tribe's numbers expanded they eventually increased it to a week so that all the youths may have the chance to take the test. Also so the matriarch isn't so overloaded. During this test real weapons are used, and often there are injuries. Hardly does it result in casualties. Everyone is expected to watch this ritual, and the parents of the youths being tested must not interfere no matter how wounded their child is.<br>
<b>Coming of age</b> - Technically when a youth reaches puberty they are considered coming into age. Not here within the Ito Tribe. No, the coming of age ritual takes place on Xuízo Week. That is only if the youth passes the test. Should a youth pass the night they succeed, and are the victor in their match against the matriarch, they must first bathe the battle from their body in a tub full of salt water. This water is pure spring water with salt just added to it. The salt is blessed by the elders of the tribe, but what makes this a feat of strength is often the youths have sustained injuries from their test, and these wounds are very fresh for the bath takes place directly after the battle. No youth may cry, or whimper, during this bath no matter how painful the salt is in their wounds. Them enduring anguish is the first step past the threshold. Once their bath is complete the youth is blindfolded, clothed only in undergarments, and taken to a random spot in the desert lands surrounding Ul'dah. Dropped off with no resources at their disposal, and no shoes or protective clothing, they must find their way home. This is honestly the turning point in the coming of age trial. They are given the choice when their blindfold is removed. They may either go to Ul'dah, and shed their birth name, and leave the tribe (in which they are forever banished). Or said youth may make the journey home, and claim their spot in the tribe. Should the youth choose to come home upon their arrival they are dressed in ceremonial robes. Each robe is custom made for each youth starting from their birth, and expanding through their life. The test, among other notable events like their birth and the such, are weaved into the silk fabric of their robe. Finally a feast is held in their honor, and at the end of the dinner the matriarch gives the youth a chalice with an inch of ancient wine in it. Drinking the liquid finalizes that they have passed all trials in order to be considered an adult, in order to get a rank, and in order to breed.

<center><b>Festivals</b></center>
<b>Blessing of the new born</b> - Celebrating life is something the clan prides itself on, for new life is refreshing much like the rain, and the moon along with the night. When a female is expecting a child it is a time for not just celebrations, but for preparing. When a woman goes into labor the family starts to gather at the home of the expecting parents, or expecting mother. Once the child is born a blessing ceremony is preformed when the moon is at its highest point in the heavens. This is when they begin to send prayers to Menphina asking her to guide, and watch over the new born throughout their life. While this is happening the elders of the tribe prepare a bath for the new born. The water is from the snow of the tallest point of the tallest summit. Snow is melted down before adding it to the bath. From here it is not warmed up any further, but actually cooled down. A white mage blesses several medicinal herbs, and herbs that are thought of to give strength and fortune, before placing it in the water. That is when the white mage blesses the water as well. From extra herbs a thick sap substance is made. The oldest elder then takes the new born, and dunks the baby beneath the cold water. Withdrawing the infant from the waters the sap is spread onto their forehead. The Ito tribe believes that this will help seal their prayers to Menphina, and that she will proceed to bless the baby throughout his or her life.<br>
<b>Feast of the new year</b> - When the new year comes around the family clan gathers at the tribe's homestead to celebrate, and yes attendance is mandatory. The morning of the eve before the new year reigns in men and woman alike begin to prepare a large feast. Children are exempt from this, and any youth that is in training gets to take this day, and the day of the new year, off. Other than the blessing of a new born this is the biggest gathering the tribe sees all year. Elders sit around with each other to tell their tales, and life experience to youngsters, while the working hands hunt and gather food to provide for the feast. Meanwhile a group of men go into the woods, and cut several trees down for the bonfire that is lit as darkness sets. This feast is suppose to be fun so there are a lot of games for everyone to partake in. When the sun sets the fire is lit, and the food is served, and everyone sits down to eat a hearty meal while enjoying the great company of family.<br>
<b>Death</b> - Yes death is very much cause for celebration in this tribe for death doesn't represent an impending end, but rather a chance for their loved ones to soar to the sky and be enveloped in the Moon goddess's arms. Mourning, and crying, is a shameful act to be seen, and may only be done in private. In public one must keep themselves composed, and be joyful that the deceased family member can go meet Menphina. Cheerful music is played, and yet again another time where food is presented, and the youths can take a day off from training.

●She cannot use her Aether at all due to the allagan choker around her throat. Her Aether is poisoned by dark magic, and it was killing her. The choker filters out the dark magic, and keeps her alive. (You will have to learn this ICly!)<br>
●Towering Falcon calls Chika 'Chocolatey-goodness' due to the color of Chika's skin. She even offered Chika work as a prostitute. Chika had to think REALLY hard on this, and struggled with herself not to accept. (You will have to learn this ICly!)<br>
●Her Chocobo, Runt, is dumb as a bag of rocks. Often she will curse him out, but secretly she loves him to death. (IC knowledge)<br>
●LOVES playing her violin, but hardly plays for anyone. Only a handful have heard her play including T'urnessa Bogen & T'shina Vashka. Not even Senah heard her play the violin, and they were together for nearly three years and were married. Despite being a bard she picks and chooses exclusively who hears her play, and sing. The horrors of almost dying several times drew Chika closer to Ai. When Alvaro, Chika's father, failed to kill his daughter he tricked Ai into taking a fantasia potion changing Miss. Shira into a man. Even after this the two remained a couple, but after three months of no intimacy, Chika felt a large strain being taken on the relationship. After making love Chika inquired if Ai would ever change back into a woman, and he declined. The two got into an argument, and Chika threw the no intimacy in his face, before running out of the house. Upon returning Ai was gone. Recently Chika found out her ex-lover committed suicide.<br>

They've been through troubling times, including Chika nearly dying and Alexia going to Coerthas, but it never seemed to really effect their friendship. After Chika's near death experience Alexia grew rather standoffish, and the two almost got into a physical altercation. After that they never saw each other again, and the love and friendship that once was there withered away.<br>

He can be brash, sometimes rude with his crude humor, and knows what buttons to push to piss Chika off. He had been involved in a relationship with an old friend of hers, and ended up crushing the girl's heart by abandoning her with no goodbye. It left them off in a rather bad spot, and she finds her friendship waning with him.<br>

The two hit it off very well, and she was there when Chika gave birth. Chika had given Arli a home, and shared her family with her. Over the course of months the two became very close, and even were engaged. A week before their wedding Arli disappeared in the middle of the night. Giving no warning, and leaving no note. Since then all the feelings she one held for this woman have long died. Love turned to rather vicious loathing.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Aya Foxheart]] : T'shina Vashka introduced these two when Chika first came to Ul'dah. Aya is a sweet, and sometimes naive, woman who is a waitress at the Quick Sand. They easily hit it off, and Chika finds it hard to not smile when Aya is around. This Midlander woman happens to be very kind, and has a comforting aura around her.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Azeiox Nelles]] : An Elezen man who was dear to Ai. He acted as a protector to the mocha Keeper, but since Ai's death the two have avoided each other all together. Recently they ran into each other during All Saint's Wake, and they discussed their personal issues with what has happened in the past. It's a good start on the road to recovering, and salvaging, a possible friendship but there is a lot of work to be had.<br>
<font style="color:#445e72;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[C'artimeo Nunh]] : It was not friendship at first sight. Oh no, Chika actually tried murdering him for C'artimeo had stolen the antelope she'd be preying on for hours. They were like oil, and water, for the longest time. He was trying to get into her pants, and viewed her as a conquest. She thought of him as an arrogant prick. Time passed, and with much wearing down, C'artimeo convinced her to become his lover. While out with her by a lakeside, his wives and children were murdered by a Tia. He burned down his home, and the remains of his old life, and so Chika took him into her tribe as her first breeding male. Over the course of their time together she became pregnant with his child. When her father poisoned her with dark magic it was at war with her natural aether. In the process of it the fetus became collateral damage, and her body aborted the pregnancy. To this day it still haunts her. After the miscarriage things were never the same. She could no longer look at him, nor love him. Ending their relationship she asked him to leave, and hasn't seen him since.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Chompy]] : An adorable little raptor that belongs to her good friend, Zurine Ekaitz. He is the mascot for the free company Envisage of Night. He quickly melted Chika's heart, and often she'd bring him grilled dodo to snack on. What made her adore him even further was his bond with her baby daughter, Calista. She misses him everyday.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Ember Flamestrike]] : Her friendship with this woman is a very strange one. Ember is a scientist. Therefor finds no harm in experimenting on live subjects, such as people. It has always rubbed Chika the wrong way, and she hasn't always agreed with Ember's methods. When she was dying, Ember was the one who found out first, and she came to Chika's aid. To the point Ember risked her life a multitude of times, even offered her home to the matriarch of the Ito tribe. The two have shared in heart to heart moments, but neither will actually admit it. Chika finds her friend's recent absence most unsettling.<br>
<font style="color:#000000;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Enja Niuhali]] : Enja, and Chika, used to be great friends! Chika use to call Enja her paler twin for the two share several facial attributes that are the same. Their friendship started off with Enja coming to 'Sew Beautiful' for a new shirt. From there their friendship blossomed, and once upon a time the two were actually intimate, but it lasted briefly. When Chika was dying Enja had been informed about it, but did not act like the others did. Finding out this bit of information Chika became deeply hurt by her good friend's refusal to help. This has lead to a great rift forming between the two, making the mocha Keeper avoid the pale Seeker.<br>

There were instant sparks between them, leading to intimacy. They encountered each other numerous times since that day, even spent one evening talking about their pasts and what they hoped for the future. Ennara explained to Chika she wouldn't be interested in anything romantic with the matriarch if she was in a relationship. So Chika left Ai. After doing so Ennara told Chika she was going to Coerthas, which didn't sit well with Mrs. Ito. They got into an argument, and Chika stormed off. Their friendship was on rocky terms since, and for a time they fell out of contact. Which lead both to believe neither were interested in getting romantically involved with each other. After a period of silence the two actually sat down, and spoke to one another. Chika gave Ennara a personal link pearl, and she left under the impression that things were fixed. However it has been several months since she heard anything from Miss. Cailan, and she wonders if the woman is okay.<br>
<font style="color:#C24640;" size="3">●</font> [[Graive Elune]] : Mentioning that name around Chika makes the Keeper's blood boil. Graive is much like Ember in the field of science. Lack of emotions, and empathy, and the desire to pick things apart. That isn't what bothers Mrs. Ito. One day Chika's sister, Nadya, had informed the mocha woman that Graive had expressed desire to kill her because she had formed a romantic relationship with Graive's assistant. This made the Keeper furious. To the point that Chika attempted to assassinate Miss. Elune, but was stopped by Alexia Juste. Hate still lingers in her veins for this woman.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Hirokuli Zerokuli]] : A Lalafel that quickly won Chika's friendship. They had met when Chika first joined Envisage of Night, and swiftly became friends. He has a good heart, and makes her laugh a lot. He is one of the very few people she actually can trust.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Kagewoe Erasus]] : Kagewoe, and her, never really use to bother each other. They'd mostly just give one another a chin jut, or a mere 'hello'. Over the course of several hardships their friends faced in Envisage of Night the two began to work together. When Chika was falling ill she confided in the Hyur man. He had actually been there to save her from dying. While no one else, but Ai, could get close he did. He actually slapped the ancient artifact around her throat. His determination, and honesty, is something Chika admires. This is another person she can trust.<br>
<font style="color:#000000;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Kheda'ya Zahre]] : Kheda happened upon Rosa San, the brothel that Chika was employed at. During her time there the two had a sexual interaction, him hiring her for an evening. From this encounter the two parented Chika'a and Chika'to. With Vy in charge, at that time, she took the boys away. It took Chika five years to come in contact with Kheda'ya again, and when they met up she informed him that he has fraternal twin sons. He's been slightly involved in their lives, but made no attempts to be a family with Chika and the boys. Kheda, and Chika, have never really been close and never will be. A fact Chika doesn't mind in the slightest.<br>
<font style="color:#C24640;" size="3">●</font> [[Liandri Mei]] : Chika doesn't often hate people, or make enemies, so it is surprising when someone actually makes that list. This Miqo'te has given her good reason to be an enemy. Their first meeting was brief, but no malice formed of it. Through talks with U'zhan, Chika learned of how Liandri claims to love the hybrid Miqo man, but on the side she sleeps with a Hyur male. In Chika's mind that isn't right. You don't claim to love someone, and sleep with them, only to be laying in the arms of another. It made her feel unease around Miss. Mei. What was the final nail in the coffin was at Rock's beach party. When U'zhan was bid on, and won by T'shina, Miss. Mei had threatened to skin him while standing next to Chika before telling Dante that he was back in her bed again. Joking, or not, Mrs. Ito took this incredibly serious, and should any harm fall on U'zhan by this woman's hand T'shina and Chika agreed to have a race to see who can punish Liandri Mei first.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Licia Kline]] : Leader of Envisage of Night she had many interactions with Chika. They grew close over time, and a long time ago Mrs. Ito use to call Miss. Kline her friend. Licia actually told Chika, and Senah, that they were both pregnant. Licia once had Chika's admiration, and trust, and it strengthened more over enduring hardships together. However, after Licia saved Chika, things went down hill. A Lalafel, that informed the company of why Chika was dying, sacrificed her life. Instead of taking measures to try to save the girl Licia, and others, allowed her to perish. This did not sit well with Kagewoe, Ai, and Chika (when she found out). So it caused a rift in the company. Instead of repairing it, like a leader should, Licia allowed the rift to widen. Chika, along with several others, ended up leaving the company due to it. And so their friendship, and trust, ended.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Lilithium Altair]] : After being without a company for a few weeks Chika was introduced to Miss. Altair by T'shina. A bond of friendship, and respect, was forged. On several missions the two were paired together, and outside of work they spent some time with one another. Chika came to like Lilithium, but a divide was created. Chika's loyalty is to T'shina, for she is the one who brought her to Free Wing Society in the first place. When T'shina left, after Lilithium picked C'kayah over her friendship with Miss. Vashka and her mate, Chika followed. She holds no ill intent, or malice, against Miss. Altair, but harbors no real desire to be friends either unless the Hyur approaches her about it.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Nanapo]] : A little Lalafel child she adores greatly. The girl has a rather nasty habit of getting in trouble, but Chika is there to offer help and guidance to the young girl. She feels protective over her like she does with Ado. There isn't anything Chika wouldn't do to help, and protect, Nana.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Nymira Valeroyont]] : Nym is a great friend, and one of Chika's best! Mrs. Ito respects, trusts, and loves Nymira. Many times has this woman proven her friendship to Chika. Even taking Chika in when the Keeper was recovering from her near death experience, and taking care of her. They haven't spent much time together since Chika left Free Wing Society, and this is something she regrets greatly for she misses Miss. Valeroyont every day.<br>
<font style="color:#445e72;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Senah Lyehga]] : Senah, and Chika, have known each other since they were young children. The Lyehga family were allied with the Ito tribe when Vy was in power. During political meetings between the families, Senah would be brought to the Ito lands. So what would the two do? Naturally play like all children do! Wrestling, sparing, chasing each other around. Endless hours of fun. As they grew older Chika developed feelings for Senah. When they became teenagers Senah stopped coming on the meetings, and it took many years for them to see each other again. Yet when they did the two became even closer. Eventually dating. At the Bismark Senah proposed to Chika, expressing her desire for family, and love. Happily Chika accepted. Senah is the reason why Chika killed Vy. Before the two wed Chika took a fantasia potion to change her anatomy, and genetic coding. She is the sire to Sierra, the daughter Senah was pregnant with and gave birth to. The fantasia backfired, and Chika became pregnant with Calista. Shortly after Calista's birth Senah, and Chika, were in Coerthas. An Aevis attacked, and a pregnant Senah was foolish and rushed to defend Chika. In doing so she toppled over a cliff with the dragon, and was presumed dead for six months. Only recently she came back into Chika's life, wishing to return to what they once had, but by that time Mrs. Ito had moved on. They don't speak much anymore. Senah picks Calista up for weekends every now and again, and drops off Sierra in exchange. Other than that the two have little to no contact for the pain, and their past, make being around each other rather difficult.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Timari Corala]] : A bond of family was forged with this Keeper, and Chika. Timari is rather shy, withdrawn, and wounded from her abusive past. This brought out Chika's protective motherly instincts, and she often took care of Timari. When Ember vanished Timari was left alone, and so Chika opened her home to Miss. Corala. In exchange Timari cooked, cleaned, and tended to Chika's children for her. However after she received a letter from Miss. Flamestrkike about their relationship ending, Timari disappeared and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Chika is concerned for her old friend's safety, but figures she'll come around when and if she wants to. The absence has put a strain on the friendship, and so Chika is neutral with the woman now.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Toff Vaughnn]] : This friendship is a very odd one. Toff, and Chika, met at the Quicksand when Chika was watching over Ado. Things started off great. They talked a lot, and came to know one another through conversations about their pasts. Over time he made his desires known for her. At that time she was with Ai, and had no desire to leave her mate. Toff had crossed a line with her when he was at the springs at Camp Bronze Lake by not only saying Senah was dead and Chika needed to get the hell over it, and by kissing her. Chika told Ai, and Ai confronted Toff about it. Toff severely wounded Chika's mate, and had it not been for Chika'to, Ai would have died. Pissed, and hurt at Toff, Chika attacked him in the Ruby Road Exchange. For some time the two avoided each other like the plague, but made amends after time passed. Chika never truly got over what he did to Ai. Neither of them have talked to each other lately, and Chika wonders if they should still be friends.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Towering Falcon]] : She is a lady Roe, and owner of a prostitute business that is based out of Ul'dah. Chika had been suffering from depression, and she had felt unwanted and undesired. Ado introduced the two entirely on accident. Chika likes to think of TF as a friend. Towering asked some 'personal' questions which lead them both back to the Lavender Beds. Here is where Chika hired Lucy Honeypot for a night. Afterward Falcon, and Chika, encountered each other many times. Speaking of possible business with one another. TF even offered Chika a job. She is also how T'urnessa, and Chika, met one another. When Nessa was new, and had never been with a woman, Towering offered her to Chika for fifty thousand gil. To this day Chika will say spending that much was well worth it. For out of this meeting came a glorious, and adorable, relationship with Nessa. Chika is under the impression TF is pissed that Nessa left the business because of Chika. She hasn't had the courage to seek out the Roe yet.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[T'shina Vashka]] : T'shina had stumbled upon Chika when the mocha Keeper was playing the violin in Thanalan. She is actually one of the few that actually ever heard the matriarch play music. From then the two stumbled upon each other in Bentbranch, where Shina has asked if Chika would like to assist Free Wing Society, and her, on a mission into Haukke Manor. Their friendship has been through some trials. Including when Chika attacked Toff she had lost the respect of T'shina, and Miss. Vashka was greatly disappointed in her. Since then Chika has been working on restoring the respect Shina once had. Most of the time they spend together is spent talking about their lives, and the happenings in them. Sometimes Chika even offers advice. When T'shina left Free Wing Society Chika was quick to follow due to the fact her loyalty is to this woman. While they do not fully trust each other, Chika has placed some trust in this Seeker. She likes to consider T'shina a close friend.<br>

Nessa had never been with a woman before so Chika spent the gil to hire her for an evening. There were sparks instantly. The next day Chika returned, and happened upon T'urnessa as she was reading in Falcon's room. They spent hours talking about books, and romance. Along with how Nessa should never give up hope in finding true love. A day, or so later, they went to Forgotten Springs and had a mini-date where they both shared the confession that they were starting to develop emotional attachments of romance to one another. This is how they entered a secret relationship. That weekend Chika whisked T'urnessa away to a cabin at Hidden Falls. This helped strengthen their love for one another. Their last night there Chika told Nessa she can come live with her when Nessa decided to leave TF's business. Later the next week T'urness ended up leaving Towering's business for good, and ended up on Chika's door step. Since then things have gone splendidly! The two are hardly ever apart from each other, and she has even adopted Chika's previous children on as her own. Chika took a fantasia, and the two have sired a child together. Recently they wed in a private ceremony on the Ito tribal grounds. Mrs Chika and T'urnessa Ito consider one another life mates. Meaning in their minds, and hearts, they are bound to each other for this life time and eternity. T'urnessa is not only Chika's life mate, and wife, but her greatest friend as well. <B>Personal OOC note</b>: It has already been determined this is a lasting relationship, and plans have been made in the future that when it comes time for them to either pass away, or to stop writing, that Nessa and Chika will die in each others arms. After they watched their children grow up, and have kids. And their grand-kids have kids. They will pass away in one another's arms after saying goodnight and 'I love you'<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[U'zhan Tia]] : A hybrid Miqo'te, half Seeker and half Keeper, that became friends easily with Chika. They often engaged each other in conversations about genetics, and how cruel their own kind can be when it comes to half breeds. Though they don't talk much she does consider him a friend.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Zurine Ekaitz]] : Chika misses Zurine a lot. Over the course of time the two became good friends with one another. Chika often sought out comfort in Zurine's company, and she hoped the blue woman felt the same way. When Chika was in need of saving Zurine was there. When Chika became an alcoholic Zurine helped get her back on track after Mrs. Ito's miscarriage. Zurine is one of the reasons why Chika regrets leaving Envisage of Night, and she wonders if they'll ever see each other again. Either or Zurine will always be a close friend in Chika's mind.

<div align="justify">Chika Ito (pronounced Chi-ca E-toe) comes from a very strict tribe, that consists of three families. The Ito tribe expands through nine generations, and are rather known for their wild way of living separated from society, and how they are savages when in battles. Unlike most Keepers of the Moon, and Miqo'tes in general, the tribe lived near Ul'dah for quite sometime before locating back to the South Shroud. Chika hardly lives in her home on the tribe's piece of land, where all the tribe members mostly live. Instead she now lives outside of Red Rooster Stead with her lover, and children.

She has become the matriarch of her tribe, but still travels a lot outside of their grounds. Instead she makes a trip there several times a week to check on things.</div>

Reflecting the untamed personality she exerts in her daily life, her appearance seems to mirror it. On endless toned, but lithe limbs, the woman stands at five fulms and three ilms, the maximum height of a Miqo'te female. Proportional with her lithe physique, and agile height, she comes in at one hundred thirty ponz. Certainly she is not made outright for hand to hand combat, but lingering in a defined feminine body a muscular system exists strength. Hidden potential to do devastating damage. One may easily assume that the woman has no actual muscle mass, do not let your eyes play tricks on you. From the age of five she was trained in hand to hand combat, that pairs wonderfully with her teachings of an archer, for if she ever finds herself disarmed she may quickly strike, and defend herself accordingly. Hailing from well kept genetics Chika is not classified as unattractive. Curves are voluptuous, carved delicately out of the stature of the woman, and her hip beautiful and generous as well as full from bearing children. Each dip, and detail, is tender never giving way to the predator that lurks within. The heated flesh that covers her body is stained a delicious, and rather tantalizing, caramel hue. Succulent mountains of tenderness adorn the Miqo'te's chest, and her bust is considerably large for her race. With the sea of caramel flesh, warm and soft, along with delicate womanly curves with her gorgoues features, the woman holds an inviting appearance. Once before her hair was long. Gossamer threads stained the darkest shade of auburn. Running wild throughout the claret strands are highlights consisting of ebony hues. After passing her family's test at the age of sixteen she has cut her hair short, and has kept it that way since. Often it is pushed up, and back, with a few strands of velvet escaping the hold and cradling her exotic features. Now she has dyed her hair ebony with claret highlights. Out of everything, though, the most prominent feature on Chika are her eyes. Pools of enchanting shades of wine red, coating each iris with their vibrant colors.

On the outside she may appear to be an attractive woman, but this is not the case for beneath the clothes she conceals herself in (almost constantly) there are imperfections. Scars line her back from the cruelty of men. While they are not raised knotted mountains of scar tissue, the are fairly smooth and noticeable due to their pigment. While most of her flesh is a enchanting caramel shade the scars that are scattered about her back are a medium cream color. These marks were formed from whips.

●8/24/2013 - Fresh whip lashes on her back. There are only four, and are scabbing over, but the skin around them is still red and inflamed with irritation.<br>
●On her lower right abdomen, close to the right ovary, is a small mass of scar tissue inflicted in battle which she overthrew Vy from her position of power.<br>
●12/15/2013 - Chika was in Limsa shopping with her fiancee, now missing, Arli. The pair had split up to do holiday shopping, so she was alone. While she was browsing through a fabric stall an old, and abusive, client she use to 'tend' to back in the brothel approached her. He tried convincing her to sleep with him, and when she said no he grabbed hold of her. Chika struck out violently to protect herself, and in the backlash from him, the flesh over her left eye took damage. Now there is a visible scar there.<br>
●Faint, small scars litter her knuckles on both hands. When Arli went missing Chika took out her sudden aggression in objects around her house.</div>

<center><b>The Ito Tribe</b></center>
The Ito Tribe is a clan consisting of three family tribes brought together, which is rare among the Keepers of the Moon. The family's are; Ito, Skyla, Verve. Everyone in the Skyla, and Verve, family clans were brought into the Ito tribe by marriage (or mating) to a member of the Ito family. Expanding through nine generations the Ito family has withstood the test of time. They are not your typical Keeper of the Moon tribe, or clan. Not only because of the number of other family units that have merged with the Ito tribe, but also due to the fact their methods they carry on throughout life. Much like Seeker society, these Keepers have a strict code, and value on how they do things. Often it makes others believe that this family is taboo.<br>
This tribe lives rather far off of the grid from civilization. Far before the Calamity the tribe cut ties with cities, and villages, severing the need to depend on others to live. The Ito tribe become fully self-sufficient, and has remained that way for at least six generations. Over fifty-percent of their land is dedicated to growing food, and raising live stock. The children are raised knowing the basics of cooking, weaving, and leather working so they can craft clothes, and be able to make materials for their portable homes with ease.

<center><b>Structure</b></center>
A ranking system was implemented in the tribe long ago to create order, and to avoid chaos. Below is the basic structure. These are some of the ranks, more will be added over time.
<br><b>Matriarch;</b> the woman who leads the tribe<br>
<b>Heir;</b> typically the first born daughter to the matriarch, but it can be someone of her choosing as long as they are part Ito<br>
<b>Scion;</b> children of the matriarch that are not picked to become the heir, but they hold some sway of power in the tribe<br>
<b>The Council;</b> this is a special rank consisted of the oldest, and wisest, members of the tribe. They are there to help create laws for the tribe, and to take some of the weight of ruling alone off of the matriarch's shoulders. Their word is highly revered, for children are raised to respect their elders<br>
<b>Sentries;</b> these are people of the tribe hand picked by the matriarch to stay in the tree tops, and patrol the boundaries of the tribal grounds. It is their job to keep unauthorized persons out, as well as alert the tribe to any potential threats<br>
<b>Warriors;</b> a warrior is someone who shows promise when it comes to fighting. They are loyal, devoted members to the tribe, and its matriarch, and will do anything to protect the tribe's members<br>
<b>Hunters;</b> hunters are the people in charge of going out into the wilderness, and bringing home the wild game for the tribe. During the winter months when crops have a harder time growing, and they don't want to dip into the live stock population to feed the entire tribe, hunters are often sent out to comb the Shrouds, and even Thanalan, to kill prey and cart it back home. In the spring, and summer, months they often do not need to go out<br>
<b>Botanists;</b> these are the gatherers. They not only go out to gather fruits, vegetables, and other vegetation (like spices, and herbs) but they are also the farmers of the tribe. During the spring, and summer, months they tend to the orchards and farmlands on the tribal grounds. Colder months are spent venturing out to warmer places to retrieve food<br>
<b>Member;</b> merely a member of the tribe who doesn't have a job

<center><b>Classes & Training</b></center>
What is unique about the family, and has gained them a secure foothold in continuing throughout the ages, is their way of fighting. In battles those born within this tribe fight for survival, and are incredibly vicious. There is no fear of death, no fear of killing another, and no fear of blood spilling for it is natural to them. Ito members are brutal, and often they are considered savages when locked in a brawl. From the moment a youngster can walk, whether male or female, they are taught fighting. For the first five years of training they must learn the arts, and walk the incessant path of the Pugilist. So from the age of four (or five in some cases) to ten an Ito is trained daily, and rather harshly, the way of a Pugilist. It is so that if they are ever disarmed they will still have a chance of survival. Also during this period time is taken to show the youths the basics of being an apothecary so that way they may tend to their wounds after battle. Upon reaching their tenth birthday they may finally pick their destined class. For males they mostly pick becoming Gladiator, Marauder, or Lancer. Females typically delve into the world of magic, or archery. For eight years (age 10-18) they are put through more extensive training on a daily basis. In the mornings they continue their leanings of being a Pugilist, and then in the evenings they study, and work on their chosen course. Finally at the age of eighteen, what this tribe considers the threshold of adulthood, they are given a test (see Xuízo Week for more information).

<center><b>Rituals</b></center>
This is what makes the Ito tribe taboo. They are not like other Keeper clans, and below are some of the main reasons. Rituals play a pivotal role within the tribe's dynamics, and its future. Below are several rituals that take place.<br>
<b>Courting</b> - The Ito tribe has learned a lot from the Seekers of the Sun, and often mimic the courting ritual. First the suitor (preferably male, but a female can court another female) must present the woman with a token of his affection. This can be anything. From jewelry, to hand made carvings. This token should be made out of durable material so it can withstand the test of time. It symbolizes the person doing the courting has ever lasting love for the woman. Once the suitor has provided a token of his (or her) affection they must do battle with the woman they so wish to wed. This battle is unlike most. It is not meant to cause injury, but to be a graceful dance involving weapons between the suitor, and the one being courted. Fighting to the heavy drums, and other instruments, the fighting dance is elegant and a sight to behold.<br>
<b>Claiming/mating</b> - There are several steps in the ritual that a couple must complete in order to be fully mated, and bound to one another for life. Below at the steps.<br>
■Public ritual: After the exchange of the wedding vows the matriarch takes a blessed dagger. The groom offers out his (or her) left hand, and the bride offers her right. With the dagger an incision is made in the palm that the groom and bride hold out. Ensuring that some blood escapes from these shallow gashes the matriarch then instructs the bride and groom to join said hands, and press the cuts together. Once this is complete the matriarch then ties a rope around their hands and wrists, symbolizing the eternal link between the newly weds. Sharing blood is the Ito way of sharing everything with your life long partner from your souls, to your blood.<br>
■Private ritual: After the wedding feast, and the two are considered newly weds, the couple is whisked away to a private place within The Black Shroud. Here the Ito tribe has a small cozy cottage. Fully furnished the newly weds spend their honeymoon here, and complete the rest of the ritual. Their first step, after unpacking, is to run a hot bubble bath. Guided by the candlelight in the room the groom and the bride must bathe each other. This symbolizes them washing away their lover's sins, and past romances and sexual interactions with others. It allows their lover to become pure again. After the bath the couple is expected to consummate their marriage. During this two marks are given by biting. One on the neck to show the public that they are claimed, and all of their being is given to their spouse. Another is placed on the inside of the right thigh to signify that they claim their mate's body as their own, and no other may bring any sexual pleasure or gratification to their mate.<br>
<b>Xuízo Week</b> - Xuízo (meaning judgement) Week is the week that the test occurs. This test determines whether or not a youth crosses the threshold to adulthood (in the tribe's eyes), whether the youth gets the ability to breed, and if the youth may leave the tribal grounds to find work in the cities. Not just those things, but it also helps establish a youth's status in the tribal ranks. In this test they are expected to fight against the matriarch in that present time. One week of each season (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter) is dedicated to Xuízo Day. It happens every season so when a youth reaches their eighteenth name-day they may take part in the test. Every day, for seven days, the youths that have reached the eighteenth mark of their life span will be tested. Usually only three youths are tested each day. Originally it was known as Xuízo Day, but as the tribe's numbers expanded they eventually increased it to a week so that all the youths may have the chance to take the test. Also so the matriarch isn't so overloaded. During this test real weapons are used, and often there are injuries. Hardly does it result in casualties. Everyone is expected to watch this ritual, and the parents of the youths being tested must not interfere no matter how wounded their child is.<br>
<b>Coming of age</b> - Technically when a youth reaches puberty they are considered coming into age. Not here within the Ito Tribe. No, the coming of age ritual takes place on Xuízo Week. That is only if the youth passes the test. Should a youth pass the night they succeed, and are the victor in their match against the matriarch, they must first bathe the battle from their body in a tub full of salt water. This water is pure spring water with salt just added to it. The salt is blessed by the elders of the tribe, but what makes this a feat of strength is often the youths have sustained injuries from their test, and these wounds are very fresh for the bath takes place directly after the battle. No youth may cry, or whimper, during this bath no matter how painful the salt is in their wounds. Them enduring anguish is the first step past the threshold. Once their bath is complete the youth is blindfolded, clothed only in undergarments, and taken to a random spot in the desert lands surrounding Ul'dah. Dropped off with no resources at their disposal, and no shoes or protective clothing, they must find their way home. This is honestly the turning point in the coming of age trial. They are given the choice when their blindfold is removed. They may either go to Ul'dah, and shed their birth name, and leave the tribe (in which they are forever banished). Or said youth may make the journey home, and claim their spot in the tribe. Should the youth choose to come home upon their arrival they are dressed in ceremonial robes. Each robe is custom made for each youth starting from their birth, and expanding through their life. The test, among other notable events like their birth and the such, are weaved into the silk fabric of their robe. Finally a feast is held in their honor, and at the end of the dinner the matriarch gives the youth a chalice with an inch of ancient wine in it. Drinking the liquid finalizes that they have passed all trials in order to be considered an adult, in order to get a rank, and in order to breed.

<center><b>Festivals</b></center>
<b>Blessing of the new born</b> - Celebrating life is something the clan prides itself on, for new life is refreshing much like the rain, and the moon along with the night. When a female is expecting a child it is a time for not just celebrations, but for preparing. When a woman goes into labor the family starts to gather at the home of the expecting parents, or expecting mother. Once the child is born a blessing ceremony is preformed when the moon is at its highest point in the heavens. This is when they begin to send prayers to Menphina asking her to guide, and watch over the new born throughout their life. While this is happening the elders of the tribe prepare a bath for the new born. The water is from the snow of the tallest point of the tallest summit. Snow is melted down before adding it to the bath. From here it is not warmed up any further, but actually cooled down. A white mage blesses several medicinal herbs, and herbs that are thought of to give strength and fortune, before placing it in the water. That is when the white mage blesses the water as well. From extra herbs a thick sap substance is made. The oldest elder then takes the new born, and dunks the baby beneath the cold water. Withdrawing the infant from the waters the sap is spread onto their forehead. The Ito tribe believes that this will help seal their prayers to Menphina, and that she will proceed to bless the baby throughout his or her life.<br>
<b>Feast of the new year</b> - When the new year comes around the family clan gathers at the tribe's homestead to celebrate, and yes attendance is mandatory. The morning of the eve before the new year reigns in men and woman alike begin to prepare a large feast. Children are exempt from this, and any youth that is in training gets to take this day, and the day of the new year, off. Other than the blessing of a new born this is the biggest gathering the tribe sees all year. Elders sit around with each other to tell their tales, and life experience to youngsters, while the working hands hunt and gather food to provide for the feast. Meanwhile a group of men go into the woods, and cut several trees down for the bonfire that is lit as darkness sets. This feast is suppose to be fun so there are a lot of games for everyone to partake in. When the sun sets the fire is lit, and the food is served, and everyone sits down to eat a hearty meal while enjoying the great company of family.<br>
<b>Death</b> - Yes death is very much cause for celebration in this tribe for death doesn't represent an impending end, but rather a chance for their loved ones to soar to the sky and be enveloped in the Moon goddess's arms. Mourning, and crying, is a shameful act to be seen, and may only be done in private. In public one must keep themselves composed, and be joyful that the deceased family member can go meet Menphina. Cheerful music is played, and yet again another time where food is presented, and the youths can take a day off from training.

●She cannot use her Aether at all due to the allagan choker around her throat. Her Aether is poisoned by dark magic, and it was killing her. The choker filters out the dark magic, and keeps her alive. (You will have to learn this ICly!)<br>
●Towering Falcon calls Chika 'Chocolatey-goodness' due to the color of Chika's skin. She even offered Chika work as a prostitute. Chika had to think REALLY hard on this, and struggled with herself not to accept. (You will have to learn this ICly!)<br>
●Her Chocobo, Runt, is dumb as a bag of rocks. Often she will curse him out, but secretly she loves him to death. (IC knowledge)<br>
●LOVES playing her violin, but hardly plays for anyone. Only a handful have heard her play including T'urnessa Bogen & T'shina Vashka. Not even Senah heard her play the violin, and they were together for nearly three years and were married. Despite being a bard she picks and chooses exclusively who hears her play, and sing. The horrors of almost dying several times drew Chika closer to Ai. When Alvaro, Chika's father, failed to kill his daughter he tricked Ai into taking a fantasia potion changing Miss. Shira into a man. Even after this the two remained a couple, but after three months of no intimacy, Chika felt a large strain being taken on the relationship. After making love Chika inquired if Ai would ever change back into a woman, and he declined. The two got into an argument, and Chika threw the no intimacy in his face, before running out of the house. Upon returning Ai was gone. Recently Chika found out her ex-lover committed suicide.<br>

They've been through troubling times, including Chika nearly dying and Alexia going to Coerthas, but it never seemed to really effect their friendship. After Chika's near death experience Alexia grew rather standoffish, and the two almost got into a physical altercation. After that they never saw each other again, and the love and friendship that once was there withered away.<br>

He can be brash, sometimes rude with his crude humor, and knows what buttons to push to piss Chika off. He had been involved in a relationship with an old friend of hers, and ended up crushing the girl's heart by abandoning her with no goodbye. It left them off in a rather bad spot, and she finds her friendship waning with him.<br>

The two hit it off very well, and she was there when Chika gave birth. Chika had given Arli a home, and shared her family with her. Over the course of months the two became very close, and even were engaged. A week before their wedding Arli disappeared in the middle of the night. Giving no warning, and leaving no note. Since then all the feelings she one held for this woman have long died. Love turned to rather vicious loathing.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Aya Foxheart]] : T'shina Vashka introduced these two when Chika first came to Ul'dah. Aya is a sweet, and sometimes naive, woman who is a waitress at the Quick Sand. They easily hit it off, and Chika finds it hard to not smile when Aya is around. This Midlander woman happens to be very kind, and has a comforting aura around her.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Azeiox Nelles]] : An Elezen man who was dear to Ai. He acted as a protector to the mocha Keeper, but since Ai's death the two have avoided each other all together. Recently they ran into each other during All Saint's Wake, and they discussed their personal issues with what has happened in the past. It's a good start on the road to recovering, and salvaging, a possible friendship but there is a lot of work to be had.<br>
<font style="color:#445e72;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[C'artimeo Nunh]] : It was not friendship at first sight. Oh no, Chika actually tried murdering him for C'artimeo had stolen the antelope she'd be preying on for hours. They were like oil, and water, for the longest time. He was trying to get into her pants, and viewed her as a conquest. She thought of him as an arrogant prick. Time passed, and with much wearing down, C'artimeo convinced her to become his lover. While out with her by a lakeside, his wives and children were murdered by a Tia. He burned down his home, and the remains of his old life, and so Chika took him into her tribe as her first breeding male. Over the course of their time together she became pregnant with his child. When her father poisoned her with dark magic it was at war with her natural aether. In the process of it the fetus became collateral damage, and her body aborted the pregnancy. To this day it still haunts her. After the miscarriage things were never the same. She could no longer look at him, nor love him. Ending their relationship she asked him to leave, and hasn't seen him since.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Chompy]] : An adorable little raptor that belongs to her good friend, Zurine Ekaitz. He is the mascot for the free company Envisage of Night. He quickly melted Chika's heart, and often she'd bring him grilled dodo to snack on. What made her adore him even further was his bond with her baby daughter, Calista. She misses him everyday.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Ember Flamestrike]] : Her friendship with this woman is a very strange one. Ember is a scientist. Therefor finds no harm in experimenting on live subjects, such as people. It has always rubbed Chika the wrong way, and she hasn't always agreed with Ember's methods. When she was dying, Ember was the one who found out first, and she came to Chika's aid. To the point Ember risked her life a multitude of times, even offered her home to the matriarch of the Ito tribe. The two have shared in heart to heart moments, but neither will actually admit it. Chika finds her friend's recent absence most unsettling.<br>
<font style="color:#000000;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Enja Niuhali]] : Enja, and Chika, used to be great friends! Chika use to call Enja her paler twin for the two share several facial attributes that are the same. Their friendship started off with Enja coming to 'Sew Beautiful' for a new shirt. From there their friendship blossomed, and once upon a time the two were actually intimate, but it lasted briefly. When Chika was dying Enja had been informed about it, but did not act like the others did. Finding out this bit of information Chika became deeply hurt by her good friend's refusal to help. This has lead to a great rift forming between the two, making the mocha Keeper avoid the pale Seeker.<br>
<font style="color:#000000;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Ennara Cailan]] : Chika met this lovely lady when the woman approached her, and made an inquiry about Sew Beautiful, and getting an outfit made by Chika. There were instant sparks between them, leading to intimacy. They encountered each other numerous times since that day, even spent one evening talking about their pasts and what they hoped for the future. Ennara explained to Chika she wouldn't be interested in anything romantic with the matriarch if she was in a relationship. So Chika left Ai. After doing so Ennara told Chika she was going to Coerthas, which didn't sit well with Mrs. Ito. They got into an argument, and Chika stormed off. Their friendship was on rocky terms since, and for a time they fell out of contact. Which lead both to believe neither were interested in getting romantically involved with each other. After a period of silence the two actually sat down, and spoke to one another. Chika gave Ennara a personal link pearl, and she left under the impression that things were fixed. However it has been several months since she heard anything from Miss. Cailan, and she wonders if the woman is okay.<br>
<font style="color:#C24640;" size="3">●</font> [[Graive Elune]] : Mentioning that name around Chika makes the Keeper's blood boil. Graive is much like Ember in the field of science. Lack of emotions, and empathy, and the desire to pick things apart. That isn't what bothers Mrs. Ito. One day Chika's sister, Nadya, had informed the mocha woman that Graive had expressed desire to kill her because she had formed a romantic relationship with Graive's assistant. This made the Keeper furious. To the point that Chika attempted to assassinate Miss. Elune, but was stopped by Alexia Juste. Hate still lingers in her veins for this woman.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Hirokuli Zerokuli]] : A Lalafel that quickly won Chika's friendship. They had met when Chika first joined Envisage of Night, and swiftly became friends. He has a good heart, and makes her laugh a lot. He is one of the very few people she actually can trust.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Kagewoe Erasus]] : Kagewoe, and her, never really use to bother each other. They'd mostly just give one another a chin jut, or a mere 'hello'. Over the course of several hardships their friends faced in Envisage of Night the two began to work together. When Chika was falling ill she confided in the Hyur man. He had actually been there to save her from dying. While no one else, but Ai, could get close he did. He actually slapped the ancient artifact around her throat. His determination, and honesty, is something Chika admires. This is another person she can trust.<br>
<font style="color:#000000;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Kheda'ya Zahre]] : Kheda happened upon Rosa San, the brothel that Chika was employed at. During her time there the two had a sexual interaction, him hiring her for an evening. From this encounter the two parented Chika'a and Chika'to. With Vy in charge, at that time, she took the boys away. It took Chika five years to come in contact with Kheda'ya again, and when they met up she informed him that he has fraternal twin sons. He's been slightly involved in their lives, but made no attempts to be a family with Chika and the boys. Kheda, and Chika, have never really been close and never will be. A fact Chika doesn't mind in the slightest.<br>
<font style="color:#C24640;" size="3">●</font> [[Liandri Mei]] : Chika doesn't often hate people, or make enemies, so it is surprising when someone actually makes that list. This Miqo'te has given her good reason to be an enemy. Their first meeting was brief, but no malice formed of it. Through talks with U'zhan, Chika learned of how Liandri claims to love the hybrid Miqo man, but on the side she sleeps with a Hyur male. In Chika's mind that isn't right. You don't claim to love someone, and sleep with them, only to be laying in the arms of another. It made her feel unease around Miss. Mei. What was the final nail in the coffin was at Rock's beach party. When U'zhan was bid on, and won by T'shina, Miss. Mei had threatened to skin him while standing next to Chika before telling Dante that he was back in her bed again. Joking, or not, Mrs. Ito took this incredibly serious, and should any harm fall on U'zhan by this woman's hand T'shina and Chika agreed to have a race to see who can punish Liandri Mei first.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Licia Kline]] : Leader of Envisage of Night she had many interactions with Chika. They grew close over time, and a long time ago Mrs. Ito use to call Miss. Kline her friend. Licia actually told Chika, and Senah, that they were both pregnant. Licia once had Chika's admiration, and trust, and it strengthened more over enduring hardships together. However, after Licia saved Chika, things went down hill. A Lalafel, that informed the company of why Chika was dying, sacrificed her life. Instead of taking measures to try to save the girl Licia, and others, allowed her to perish. This did not sit well with Kagewoe, Ai, and Chika (when she found out). So it caused a rift in the company. Instead of repairing it, like a leader should, Licia allowed the rift to widen. Chika, along with several others, ended up leaving the company due to it. And so their friendship, and trust, ended.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Lilithium Altair]] : After being without a company for a few weeks Chika was introduced to Miss. Altair by T'shina. A bond of friendship, and respect, was forged. On several missions the two were paired together, and outside of work they spent some time with one another. Chika came to like Lilithium, but a divide was created. Chika's loyalty is to T'shina, for she is the one who brought her to Free Wing Society in the first place. When T'shina left, after Lilithium picked C'kayah over her friendship with Miss. Vashka and her mate, Chika followed. She holds no ill intent, or malice, against Miss. Altair, but harbors no real desire to be friends either unless the Hyur approaches her about it.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Nanapo]] : A little Lalafel child she adores greatly. The girl has a rather nasty habit of getting in trouble, but Chika is there to offer help and guidance to the young girl. She feels protective over her like she does with Ado. There isn't anything Chika wouldn't do to help, and protect, Nana.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Nymira Valeroyont]] : Nym is a great friend, and one of Chika's best! Mrs. Ito respects, trusts, and loves Nymira. Many times has this woman proven her friendship to Chika. Even taking Chika in when the Keeper was recovering from her near death experience, and taking care of her. They haven't spent much time together since Chika left Free Wing Society, and this is something she regrets greatly for she misses Miss. Valeroyont every day.<br>
<font style="color:#445e72;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Senah Lyehga]] : Senah, and Chika, have known each other since they were young children. The Lyehga family were allied with the Ito tribe when Vy was in power. During political meetings between the families, Senah would be brought to the Ito lands. So what would the two do? Naturally play like all children do! Wrestling, sparing, chasing each other around. Endless hours of fun. As they grew older Chika developed feelings for Senah. When they became teenagers Senah stopped coming on the meetings, and it took many years for them to see each other again. Yet when they did the two became even closer. Eventually dating. At the Bismark Senah proposed to Chika, expressing her desire for family, and love. Happily Chika accepted. Senah is the reason why Chika killed Vy. Before the two wed Chika took a fantasia potion to change her anatomy, and genetic coding. She is the sire to Sierra, the daughter Senah was pregnant with and gave birth to. The fantasia backfired, and Chika became pregnant with Calista. Shortly after Calista's birth Senah, and Chika, were in Coerthas. An Aevis attacked, and a pregnant Senah was foolish and rushed to defend Chika. In doing so she toppled over a cliff with the dragon, and was presumed dead for six months. Only recently she came back into Chika's life, wishing to return to what they once had, but by that time Mrs. Ito had moved on. They don't speak much anymore. Senah picks Calista up for weekends every now and again, and drops off Sierra in exchange. Other than that the two have little to no contact for the pain, and their past, make being around each other rather difficult.<br>
<font style="color:#585858;" size="3">●</font> [[Timari Corala]] : A bond of family was forged with this Keeper, and Chika. Timari is rather shy, withdrawn, and wounded from her abusive past. This brought out Chika's protective motherly instincts, and she often took care of Timari. When Ember vanished Timari was left alone, and so Chika opened her home to Miss. Corala. In exchange Timari cooked, cleaned, and tended to Chika's children for her. However after she received a letter from Miss. Flamestrkike about their relationship ending, Timari disappeared and hasn't been seen or heard from since. Chika is concerned for her old friend's safety, but figures she'll come around when and if she wants to. The absence has put a strain on the friendship, and so Chika is neutral with the woman now.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Toff Vaughnn]] : This friendship is a very odd one. Toff, and Chika, met at the Quicksand when Chika was watching over Ado. Things started off great. They talked a lot, and came to know one another through conversations about their pasts. Over time he made his desires known for her. At that time she was with Ai, and had no desire to leave her mate. Toff had crossed a line with her when he was at the springs at Camp Bronze Lake by not only saying Senah was dead and Chika needed to get the hell over it, and by kissing her. Chika told Ai, and Ai confronted Toff about it. Toff severely wounded Chika's mate, and had it not been for Chika'to, Ai would have died. Pissed, and hurt at Toff, Chika attacked him in the Ruby Road Exchange. For some time the two avoided each other like the plague, but made amends after time passed. Chika never truly got over what he did to Ai. Neither of them have talked to each other lately, and Chika wonders if they should still be friends.<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Towering Falcon]] : She is a lady Roe, and owner of a prostitute business that is based out of Ul'dah. Chika had been suffering from depression, and she had felt unwanted and undesired. Ado introduced the two entirely on accident. Chika likes to think of TF as a friend. Towering asked some 'personal' questions which lead them both back to the Lavender Beds. Here is where Chika hired Lucy Honeypot for a night. Afterward Falcon, and Chika, encountered each other many times. Speaking of possible business with one another. TF even offered Chika a job. She is also how T'urnessa, and Chika, met one another. When Nessa was new, and had never been with a woman, Towering offered her to Chika for fifty thousand gil. To this day Chika will say spending that much was well worth it. For out of this meeting came a glorious, and adorable, relationship with Nessa. Chika is under the impression TF is pissed that Nessa left the business because of Chika. She hasn't had the courage to seek out the Roe yet.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[T'shina Vashka]] : T'shina had stumbled upon Chika when the mocha Keeper was playing the violin in Thanalan. She is actually one of the few that actually ever heard the matriarch play music. From then the two stumbled upon each other in Bentbranch, where Shina has asked if Chika would like to assist Free Wing Society, and her, on a mission into Haukke Manor. Their friendship has been through some trials. Including when Chika attacked Toff she had lost the respect of T'shina, and Miss. Vashka was greatly disappointed in her. Since then Chika has been working on restoring the respect Shina once had. Most of the time they spend together is spent talking about their lives, and the happenings in them. Sometimes Chika even offers advice. When T'shina left Free Wing Society Chika was quick to follow due to the fact her loyalty is to this woman. While they do not fully trust each other, Chika has placed some trust in this Seeker. She likes to consider T'shina a close friend.<br>
<font style="color:#F02311;" size="3">♥</font><font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[T'urnessa Ito]] : As mentioned above T'urnessa was introduced to Chika by Towering Falcon. Nessa had never been with a woman before so Chika spent the gil to hire her for an evening. There were sparks instantly. The next day Chika returned, and happened upon T'urnessa as she was reading in Falcon's room. They spent hours talking about books, and romance. Along with how Nessa should never give up hope in finding true love. A day, or so later, they went to Forgotten Springs and had a mini-date where they both shared the confession that they were starting to develop emotional attachments of romance to one another. This is how they entered a secret relationship. That weekend Chika whisked T'urnessa away to a cabin at Hidden Falls. This helped strengthen their love for one another. Their last night there Chika told Nessa she can come live with her when Nessa decided to leave TF's business. Later the next week T'urness ended up leaving Towering's business for good, and ended up on Chika's door step. Since then things have gone splendidly! The two are hardly ever apart from each other, and she has even adopted Chika's previous children on as her own. Chika took a fantasia, and the two have sired a child together. Recently they wed in a private ceremony on the Ito tribal grounds. Mrs Chika and T'urnessa Ito consider one another life mates. Meaning in their minds, and hearts, they are bound to each other for this life time and eternity. T'urnessa is not only Chika's life mate, and wife, but her greatest friend as well. <B>Personal OOC note</b>: It has already been determined this is a lasting relationship, and plans have been made in the future that when it comes time for them to either pass away, or to stop writing, that Nessa and Chika will die in each others arms. After they watched their children grow up, and have kids. And their grand-kids have kids. They will pass away in one another's arms after saying goodnight and 'I love you'<br>
<font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[U'zhan Tia]] : A hybrid Miqo'te, half Seeker and half Keeper, that became friends easily with Chika. They often engaged each other in conversations about genetics, and how cruel their own kind can be when it comes to half breeds. Though they don't talk much she does consider him a friend.<br>
<font style="color:#d0b278;" size="3">●</font> [[Zurine Ekaitz]] : Chika misses Zurine a lot. Over the course of time the two became good friends with one another. Chika often sought out comfort in Zurine's company, and she hoped the blue woman felt the same way. When Chika was in need of saving Zurine was there. When Chika became an alcoholic Zurine helped get her back on track after Mrs. Ito's miscarriage. Zurine is one of the reasons why Chika regrets leaving Envisage of Night, and she wonders if they'll ever see each other again. Either or Zurine will always be a close friend in Chika's mind.
