<b>General</b>

Exantraux is a short elezen by average standards, his immediate feature being his icy stare that accompanies his piercing green eyes. His hair is extremely unkempt, a slight brush backwards enough to satisfy the man, but it's a look that he's quite fond of due to the fortuitous attractiveness he feels it presents. He has allowed facial hair to grow, a feature that he takes more effort to keep maintained and looking neat.

Exantraux was born into a poor family, his parents having been cast out of Ishgard a couple of years before his birth and only just settling to the east of Gridania months before. His father, a former Dragoon, was a stubborn and wishful individual, and he held dreams of molding his next of kin into the very same that could rival the Azure himself, but such sentiments only proved to be vicarious and fleeting. These outlandish and asinine ways of thinking only stunted the way Exantraux was allowed to grow during his childhood, and this continued into his teenage and adult life.

Circumstances passed, and he found soon found himself alone and without support. With only his lance to his name, Exantraux has been recently getting by completing jobs as a hired hand such as escorting and pest control. During his downtime, he will often make the trip to Coerthas, taking the opportunities that arise to hone his ability to fight. He is also a keen drinker, and in the right mood, conversationalist. Exantraux will regularly find himself visiting the many bars around the land in the pursuit of finding the most powerful of beverages, sharing his views and opinions on any subject that crosses his mind to anyone unfortunate enough to be in ear shot. Having adopted his father's militaristic and expansive way of thinking, this often transcends into the realms of brazen hopes and desires, and is determined to one day rid the need to ever complete these boring tasks and pursue his own dreams of becoming the land's best wielder of the lance, with or without the power of the Dragoon.

<b>Affiliations</b>

Exantraux's introverted lifestyle and bold personality generally leads him to live a solitary lifestyle. Having been left to fend for himself years ago, he has long since had a companion to his name. One recent incident has forced him to take the effort to hunt down a certain miqo'te that caught his interest in the wrong way, but what that will hold in the future is anyone's guess.

<b>Other Notes</b>

This is a relatively new character I've decided to undertake after getting bored with my original miqo'te. I'm quite open with any roleplaying ventures, so feel free to throw some my way if you think I'd be a good fit. I'm most active during GMT evenings. This character is also no representative of how I conduct myself outside of roleplaying. I hope, at least. The jury is still out on the drinking.

Not much is openly known about her otherwise, as she does a fair job keeping a lot to herself. To a careful, analytical eye she may appear to be more, but otherwise she's simply another rude grump plowing her way through, and she seems to like it that way. Not to mention the glaring fact that she doesn't seem to have a single literary thing about her.

It is often subject to her fist out of frustration or awkward habit, but still manages to keep a somewhat presentable form. Her eyes are a bright striking amber, contributing to her intense look, along with the natural markings on her face. However, as of late she has been wearing a pair of dark red glasses to hide behind, whether for style or privacy. She doesn't bother with much vanity, wearing what's necessary and whatever works, whether or not it looks very aesthetic or matching. She absolutely does not like the heat, and will usually wear lighter things in such environments.

Foreward: I have recently taken an interest in a Miqo'te woman I keep running into. She is the associate of a Roegadyn man named Rhylund and I find her behaviour somewhat intriguing. After initially sending me on my way, and quite rudely, she soon changed her tune and invited me to conduct my small interviews as I seek to understand the motivations behind various aspects of her character.

I first encountered N'taeyl Yhash outside the Coffer and Coffin in Thanalan where she was having a heated conversation. I observed this exchange out of idle curiosity. Upon closer examination, I came to the conclusion that her and her associate did not find my company to their liking.

A future encounter proved this not wholly true. Her Roegadyn employer had seemingly not made up his mind about me, but she had quite clearly made up her mind about everyone... and my analysis would suggest that she likes them not one bit.

Imagine my surprise when I caught her socializing in a non-business oriented capacity! I seized the opportunity and attempted a conversation, but was readily dismissed. Shortly after, she surprisingly agreed to allow me to conduct my interviews. The following are my notes during said interview, and my own unproven theories.

*Age: 23
I was surprised to learn that she was so old. Typically such 'angst' ridden tendencies only appropriate themselves in far younger individuals.

*Occupation: Mercenary
Her explanation is that she is 'good' at this line of work. I suspect she simply was not given the opportunity to explore more peaceful options.

*Not inherently misanthropic. I believe she perpetuates her 'rudeness' to continue the belief that she is 'unlikeable'. In this way she returns control of others opinions to her own hands.

*When asked about her past she seemed woe to talk about it. I suspect this is a subject that will take a fair amount of trust before she will reveal anymore on this.

*Her companion seems not only to accept the fact that she is not sociable and far from nice with surprising ease. I would wager that their relationship stems far enough into her past, that he can overlook whatever experiences have rendered her so 'rude'.

I hope to add more to my notes as we continue our interviews, and when prepared, I will write a final report based on all I have learned.

A future encounter proved this not wholly true. Her Roegadyn employer had seemingly not made up his mind about me, but she had quite clearly made up her mind about everyone... and my analysis would suggest that she likes them not one bit.

Imagine my surprise when I caught her socializing in a non-business oriented capacity! I seized the opportunity and attempted a conversation, but was readily dismissed. Shortly after, she surprisingly agreed to allow me to conduct my interviews. The following are my notes during said interview, and my own unproven theories.

*Age: 23
I was surprised to learn that she was so old. Typically such 'angst' ridden tendencies only appropriate themselves in far younger individuals.

*Occupation: Mercenary
Her explanation is that she is 'good' at this line of work. I suspect she simply was not given the opportunity to explore more peaceful options.

*Not inherently misanthropic. I believe she perpetuates her 'rudeness' to continue the belief that she is 'unlikeable'. In this way she returns control of others opinions to her own hands.

*When asked about her past she seemed woe to talk about it. I suspect this is a subject that will take a fair amount of trust before she will reveal anymore on this.

*Her companion seems not only to accept the fact that she is not sociable and far from nice with surprising ease. I would wager that their relationship stems far enough into her past, that he can overlook whatever experiences have rendered her so 'rude'.

I hope to add more to my notes as we continue our interviews, and when prepared, I will write a final report based on all I have learned.

Foreward: I have recently taken an interest in a Miqo'te woman I keep running into. She is the associate of a Roegadyn man named Rhylund and I find her behaviour somewhat intriguing. After initially sending me on my way, and quite rudely, she soon changed her tune and invited me to conduct my small interviews as I seek to understand the motivations behind various aspects of her character.
