:Fenix is often a man that comes across as emotionless. His face is often best described as neutral, his voice often has little inflection to it and he chooses his words carefully. His body language as well does not openly express his mood or feelings. On the rare occasions where me smile or otherwise, it is often only very briefly.

:Despite his seeming lack of emotions, he can be very perceptive into the emotions and troubles of others -- when asked, he can often give good, insightful advice while remaining mostly unbiased on such matters.

:On the rare occasion that someone manages to push his buttons or upset him, he can become very blunt and straightforward. A somewhat common sight around Ul'Dah, Fenix can often be seen walking the streets with purpose behind his steps. And yet, despite his seeming omnipresence, no one knows a thing about the man -- in fact, only a small handful of people have held a conversation or even heard him utter a single word.

===Appearance===

Standing tall at 6'5", Fenix possesses a well-built, muscular frame. His skin is dark and tanned as one would expect from a desert dweller. His prominent brow ridge is indicative of his Highlander blood, and he possesses eyes of an unusual lavender shade. The left side of his face is tattoo'd with white markings. He is relatively unscarred, but has two on his face -- one over his right eye, and another on the left side of his lips. His hair is dark red, with a long white stripe running from front to back in the center of his head. His hair is usually windswept backwards, sticking up wildly.

===Behavior===

To say Fenix is a quiet man is an understatement -- even those people that have seen him most often in the city have rarely heard him speak, and even when he has his words were straightforward and few. He is most commonly seen at the Arrzaneth Ossuary, studying silently and alone. He has been seen leaving the city on some occasions, vanishing without a trace for a month or two before finally returning. But no matter what, no matter where he goes, he always moves as a man with purpose in his steps. Despite the brick wall his extremely quiet demeanor creates, he is not without kindness -- he never hesitates to help a person in danger, and has on rare occasion been seen giving bread or candy to young homeless children.

==Combat==

His tall, muscular frame belies his true talent -- not in the art of the blade, but in the destructive arts of Thaumaturgy. A person that pushes him combat will find him a merciless destructive force. While he would never bring death to an innocent bystander, he doesn't seem to hold the same reservations about destroying property or objects. Any clash with him is bound to end up either frozen over or a sizzling, smoking wreck. For all his skill in magic, he is not frail man and can take a punch, and is not afraid to throw one back if the situation calls for it.

==History/Timeline==
Very, very little information is actually known about Fenix. One year ago, he came walking downstairs from the Quicksand's inn, despite the fact he had never even rented a room there, and a man named 'Fenix' had never even been seen in the Quicksand before. The near-silent man offered no explanation for this, and to this day he still does not. From that day forward, he proceeded to make his living in Ul'dah as though he had lived there his entire life, even if no one had ever seen him before. It was not long before he joined the Thaumaturgist's Guild, being quickly accepted into their ranks after demonstrating his already polished talent for the art. He is always carrying a book or two with him as he moves through the city, always reading. He has never divulged any information about himself, always deflecting or outright ignoring any questions about his past. Most people have never bothered to press him for information after his initial refusal. Adding to his mystery is how he always moves with purpose. Anywhere he goes, he always has a reason to be there -- an item to buy, a question to ask. He never seems to waste time on frivolous activities.. but on rare occasion, he has been seen at the Quicksand having a drink by himself. Whatever his purposes and goals, wherever he came from, he has yet to see fit to tell anyone his secrets.

He has never mentioned a family -- nor has anyone ever visited him that seemed to be family. He lives a solitary life, and if he even has a family, he doesn't seem to be in touch with them.

He seems to lack these, as well -- the street children of the city seem fond of him, and there are a few people in the city that he will actually hold conversation with. But his stoic, quiet demeanor seems to make him unapproachable and hard to get close to. Whether or not he minds or notices is a mystery.

If he has any, none have yet to show their faces. He's gotten into a few fights and brawls that left some with resentment against him, but none that hate him so deeply to call him a true enemy.
