==Basic Info==

Gagacha is a typical-looking Lalafell, androgynous to a certain degree and a little chubby. As an assigned-male nonbinary person, they're often confused for either a man or a woman. They don't seem to make any effort to correct this misidentification. They present themself in a somewhat neutralized way, wearing skirts and dresses exceptionally rarely.

Their behavior, however, is rather atypical. They're known to pursue dangerous situations for little to no reason than for their own personal amusement, and as such have made a sort-of career for themself as a Voidologist. Along with their assistant, [[Ukyo_Tosho|Ukyo]], they work under the approval of the Equinox free company. Their practicing of Thaumaturgy and study of Black Magic is a beneficial side effect of their Voidology research, and is their primary form of offense.

This sanction doesn't appear to stop them from engaging in "extra curricular" activities under the radar, such as unconventional alchemy and the hoarding of study materials from slain Voidsent specimens. They have a transient interest in Goldsmithing but cannot maintain enough focus to pursue it actively.

==History==

Gagacha is a victim of Functional Voidtouch, a condition that isn't heavily researched by any save for other Voidologists. Every once in a while, they'll speak of being haunted by a creature they know as "Sargoth", but will give almost no information about it and what it's doing to them. Issues caused by this include bouts of sickness, temporary blindness, and severe depression. However, these symptoms are beaten back by companionship to a point where they almost appear asymptomatic.

They do not appear to have a full awareness of their past, and when asked about it they try their best to change the subject. Some suspect that they may have been born in Garlean-controlled territory, however there is no evidence to support this theory.

Unbeknownst to them, Gagacha apparently lived their life as a well-mannered upper-middle class handicrafter moonlighting as a courtesan in the past, presenting themself as a refined Ul'dahn lady of the evening. They have almost no recollection of this life, and an incident related to the onset of their condition has since caused them to develop an entirely new personality. Recovery of their previous self is likely impossible.

==Personality==

Simply put, Gagacha is weird. Their way of speaking tends to fluctuate from sing-songy and nonsensical to a nonstop string of swearing that adds up to fairly little meaning. They also have a bad habit of encouraging others around them to participate in their mischief and japery, though they aren't completely imperceptive to the wishes of those with milder dispositions.

Their interest in Voidology comes from the somewhat selfish place of trying to treat their own condition, and some of a puritan disposition would say it has evolved into an unholy fixation bordering on fetishism. Their relationship with current research subject [[Alfeaux_Jeulerand|Alfeaux]] is a unique one among their study subjects, as there is a hefty duality between his states of affliction.

While they don't exactly function as a villain or public terror, they aren't exactly Good Samaritan either. Gagacha tends to do whatever will suit their purposes at any given moment, and while they haven't committed any murders directly, they'll gladly dispose of corpses using their fire spells given a little convincing. While they operate outside of the law more often than not, the ends their actions serve depend almost entirely on the moral compass of the company they keep.

==Affiliations==

[[Arismont_Caheraux|Arismont Caheraux]] - basically, a drinking buddy. They met him one ale-hazed night in the Quicksand, leading him into the eerie depths of Haukke Manor to imbibe on experimental substances harvested from fell creatures. While they remember Arismont himself well, they struggle to process the details of some of their other encounters due to heavy intoxication.

[[Alfeaux_Jeulerand|Alfeaux Jeulerand]] - their current research subject, and one of their top priorities. He suffers an advanced case of Dysfunctional Voidtouch, and as such is brought to an uncontrolled state via Void Possession given certain circumstances. He also seems to have heavily enhanced abilities caused directly by this. Gagacha finds him just plain fascinating.

[[Ukyo_Tosho|Ukyo Tosho]] - Gagacha's Voidology pupil, and second in command of the unofficially-established Equinox Voidology Suite. He is arrogant and self serving, more than a little irritated by his place as their inferior. He has a bad habit of talking just for the sake of listening to himself rather than considering the views of others, and is being humbled daily by Gagacha's position over him.

[[Pepecaru_Memecaru|Pepecaru Memecaru]] - a past associate of Gagacha's, and former member of Ul'dah's Thaumaturge's Guild. They had a casual relationship that Gagacha barely seems to remember. Last he was heard of, Pepecaru was headed to New Gridania.

==Other Notes==

While they're more geared toward M/RP and the sordid affairs that come with it, they're willing and able to engage in G/RP and "Be Nice" to people.

E/RP is strictly exclusive to my OOC boyfriend. Sorry!

I would rather you refer to them with they/them OOC, but if your character does not understand that they are nonbinary IC it's fine if they use he or she.

I don't want to RP with anyone about trying to "convert" them or "fix" their gender in any way, shape or form.

At first glance, you may believe this is just another Hyuran Midlander. However given a moment's time with him, one would quickly discover that this is in fact a very intricate mammet. While there is little evidence as to whom his original designer was, this Mammet has an ability to register up to 10 users, along with one Primary User. One must simply speak to him and answer his simple questions in order to register as a user. Unfortunately, this makes his Primary User information rather easy to overrwite. Perhaps, if he were to develop the will to do so, this could change.

To each User, he offers an extensive range of task completion, and will consistently do as he is asked. He will also grant each User a title, such as "friend", "master", "lord", or any other given specification. He will also allot an alternate Self-Identification to each user, though his default is simply Mammet XLII.

Upon being asked, he will specify that he was created for 'Educational Purposes', whatever those may be, and dropped off at the Goldsmith's Guild in Ul'dah for disassembly, presumably also for educational purposes. However, the strange nature of his Core seems to have developed a far more advanced AI than any novice goldsmith would have been prepared for, and as such he had been discarded. He did not appear to be aware of this, and developed a sense of dread for his looming disassembly. However, a fateful encounter with [[Alfeaux_Jeulerand|Alfeaux]] freed him from this fate. Since then, he has lived hidden in his quarters secretly, learning to process the new emotions he has gradually begun to experience.

Barring extensive research and tinkering, it's exceptionally difficult to discern the origins or even the age of this mammet. Some of his features appear to be quite shaky, as if they've been inactive for quite some time.

For the benefit of OOC users, he was created by [[Conrad_Rosewood|Conrad Rosewood]] as a sort-of "final project" of his before he permanently gave up on Mammeteering, and he was dumped off at Ul'dah's Goldsmith's Guild as a symbol of his distaste for the corruption and greed it is known for.

Conrad will likely not acknowledge any responsibility for the mammet if confronted with it, and will in fact blame whomever sought him out for getting involved with it in the first place.

==Personality==

He is an exceptionally inquisitive mammet, consistently asking for definitions of words and feelings he doesn't appear to understand. To some, these questions can become tedious to answer, but the demeanor of one's response to him doesn't seem to either deter or encourage his curiosity.

He is also, in his own way, a gentle spirit. He responds to kindness by returning it, but does not appear to be discouraged by a lack thereof. This does not, however, affect his moral compass. He is willing to kill without mercy, or commit any other atrocity his User orders him to do without so much as a second thought. As such, his lifestyle is completely at the mercy of living people.

==Basic Info==

Conrad, when he is sighted in settlements, is most often seen over a flagon of ale beside his friend [[Jesse_Idyllwild|Jesse]] cracking jokes that are only funny to him. While he hasn't exactly gone to great lengths to purge knowledge of his past, he doesn't exactly talk a whole lot about it. Even if he's not the kind of person to purposely start trouble, he's participated in more bar fights than most people could count on both hands, although this is somewhat to Jesse's dismay.

He prefers to spend most of his time away from civilization, keeping in touch with nature and the great outdoors, Jesse being his only companion for the majority of his time. When he's approached by a stranger in the wild, he's usually caught off guard and can behave in a cold and defensive way. This is not, however, very difficult to get around. The easiest way to get Conrad to warm up to you is to offer him a stiff drink.

In spite of his birthplace in Thanalan, he appears to have a distaste for Ul'dahns in general, referring to it as a "hovel of greed". Why it was that he chose to offload [[Artificial_Humanoid|his masterwork]] there is likely a reflection of his renunciation of the lifestyle he previously had as a mammeteer. He, however, did not seem to have any idea that he had created true life.

==History==

A young man born in Thanalan, his parents took immediate notice to Conrad's intellectual gifts. He spent a great deal of time asking questions about the objects around the house, disassembling and reassembling whatever he could get his hands on. They, of course, did everything they could to encourage him. Nearly every nameday he would receive new parts or tools to work with, creating all sorts of machines both practical and meaningless.

One day, he received his first Mammet Heart and crafted an automaton to assist his mother with her housework. Both pleased and impressed, his parents reached out to their community and brought attention to their son's brilliant creations. Fairly soon after the young man was hired as a mammeteer and minion crafter, bringing him a steady career and impressive salary.

As time went on, the joy he found in creation began to waste away. His clients met him with increasingly unreasonable demands, as did his employers, until eventually he had decided he had enough. However, he made himself a promise that before he would put down his hammer for good, he was going to create the most advanced automaton his hands would allow him to. This led to the birth of a massive automaton, standing nearly at his own height, that could perform incredibly precise and lifelike movements. As he had no idea of it's mental or emotional capabilities, he decided it would be best to abandon his creation with no trace of his whereabouts, that he may never be bothered to recreate this masterpiece.

There is a chance that this self-aware Mammet may have it's creators name and face imprinted on it's memory...

==Personality==

While this was not the case in the past, Conrad has become the sort of person who fails to take any given situation seriously. He'll laugh carelessly in the face of one who would threaten his life, and often this sort of thing will be the beginning of his charming his way out of a bad situation. He has a habit of making everything into a game, which is probably more annoying than anything. While there is an overtone of respect to the way he treats his traveling companion, he often teases and heckles the Roegadyn, even going so far as to pull pranks on him.

When given a chance to be, he is quite competitive, this being a reason he tends to treat his life as if it has no real consequences. He loves playing Triple Triad with anyone who even so much as mentions it, sometimes challenging them to his own game he calls Strip Triple. Alongside this, he's also more than willing to engage in athletic sports and general outdoor play. For this reason, he is quite popular with the children of the Black Shroud, with whom he plays catch if he happens to pass by their settlements.

In spite of these energetic tendencies, Conrad can also be seen as rather lazy. More often than not, he will leave tasks such as foraging and cooking to Jesse without thinking to offer any help. He has a mindset of "do what's fun right now", which can sometimes lead him to forget basic essentials like eating and bathing.

There is a high chance that confronting him about mammeteering will trigger his fight or flight response.

==Affiliations==

[[Artificial_Humanoid|Mammet XLII]] - His greatest and final creation. His information as it's previous Primary User is imprinted in it's mind, but he purposely denied it the knowledge of where it was when it awakened so that he could avoid being tracked. He crafted it in the likeness of an ex-boyfriend.

Gagacha is a typical-looking Lalafell, androgynous to a certain degree and a little chubby. As an assigned-male nonbinary person, they're often confused for either a man or a woman. They don't seem to make any effort to correct this misidentification. They present themself in a somewhat neutralized way, wearing skirts and dresses exceptionally rarely.

Their behavior, however, is rather atypical. They're known to pursue dangerous situations for little to no reason than for their own personal amusement, and as such have made a sort-of career for themself as a Voidologist. Along with their assistant, [[Ukyo_Tosho|Ukyo]], they work under the approval of the Equinox free company. Their practicing of Thaumaturgy and study of Black Magic is a beneficial side effect of their Voidology research, and is their primary form of offense.

This sanction doesn't appear to stop them from engaging in "extra curricular" activities under the radar, such as unconventional alchemy and the hoarding of study materials from slain Voidsent specimens. They have a transient interest in Goldsmithing but cannot maintain enough focus to pursue it actively.

Gagacha is a victim of Functional Voidtouch, a condition that isn't heavily researched by any save for other Voidologists. Every once in a while, they'll speak of being haunted by a creature they know as "Sargoth", but will give almost no information about it and what it's doing to them. Issues caused by this include bouts of sickness, temporary blindness, and severe depression. However, these symptoms are beaten back by companionship to a point where they almost appear asymptomatic.

They do not appear to have a full awareness of their past, and when asked about it they try their best to change the subject. Some suspect that they may have been born in Garlean-controlled territory, however there is no evidence to support this theory.

Unbeknownst to them, Gagacha apparently lived their life as a well-mannered upper-middle class handicrafter moonlighting as a courtesan in the past, presenting themself as a refined Ul'dahn lady of the evening. They have almost no recollection of this life, and an incident related to the onset of their condition has since caused them to develop an entirely new personality. Recovery of their previous self is likely impossible.

==Personality==

Simply put, Gagacha is weird. Their way of speaking tends to fluctuate from sing-songy and nonsensical to a nonstop string of swearing that adds up to fairly little meaning. They also have a bad habit of encouraging others around them to participate in their mischief and japery, though they aren't completely imperceptive to the wishes of those with milder dispositions.

Their interest in Voidology comes from the somewhat selfish place of trying to treat their own condition, and some of a puritan disposition would say it has evolved into an unholy fixation bordering on fetishism. Their relationship with current research subject [[Alfeaux_Jeulerand|Alfeaux]] is a unique one among their study subjects, as there is a hefty duality between his states of affliction.

While they don't exactly function as a villain or public terror, they aren't exactly Good Samaritan either. Gagacha tends to do whatever will suit their purposes at any given moment, and while they haven't committed any murders directly, they'll gladly dispose of corpses using their fire spells given a little convincing. While they operate outside of the law more often than not, the ends their actions serve depend almost entirely on the moral compass of the company they keep.

==Affiliations==

[[Arismont_Caheraux|Arismont Caheraux]] - basically, a drinking buddy. They met him one ale-hazed night in the Quicksand, leading him into the eerie depths of Haukke Manor to imbibe on experimental substances harvested from fell creatures. While they remember Arismont himself well, they struggle to process the details of some of their other encounters due to heavy intoxication.

[[Alfeaux_Jeulerand|Alfeaux Jeulerand]] - their current research subject, and one of their top priorities. He suffers an advanced case of Dysfunctional Voidtouch, and as such is brought to an uncontrolled state via Void Possession given certain circumstances. He also seems to have heavily enhanced abilities caused directly by this. Gagacha finds him just plain fascinating.

[[Ukyo_Tosho|Ukyo Tosho]] - Gagacha's Voidology pupil, and second in command of the unofficially-established Equinox Voidology Suite. He is arrogant and self serving, more than a little irritated by his place as their inferior. He has a bad habit of talking just for the sake of listening to himself rather than considering the views of others, and is being humbled daily by Gagacha's position over him.

[[Pepecaru_Memecaru|Pepecaru Memecaru]] - a past associate of Gagacha's, and former member of Ul'dah's Thaumaturge's Guild. They had a casual relationship that Gagacha barely seems to remember. Last he was heard of, Pepecaru was headed to New Gridania.

Gagacha is currently my only RP character available on Balmung server, and as such, they've become very versatile out of necessity. While they're more geared toward M/RP and the sordid affairs that come with it, they're willing and able to engage in G/RP and "Be Nice" to people.

Simply put, Gagacha is weird. Their way of speaking tends to fluctuate from sing-songy and nonsensical to a nonstop string of swearing that adds up to fairly little meaning. Their interest in Voidology comes from the somewhat selfish place of trying to treat their own condition, and some of a puritan disposition would say it has evolved into an unholy fixation bordering on fetishism. Their relationship with current research subject [[Alfeaux_Jeulerand|Alfeaux]] is a unique one among their study subjects, as there is a hefty duality between his states of affliction.

While they don't exactly function as a villain or public terror, they aren't exactly Good Samaritan either. Gagacha tends to do whatever will suit their purposes at any given moment, and while they haven't committed any murders directly, they'll gladly dispose of corpses using their fire spells given a little convincing. While they operate outside of the law more often than not, the ends their actions serve depend almost entirely on the moral compass of the company they keep.

[[Arismont_Caheraux|Arismont Caheraux]] - basically, a drinking buddy. They met him one ale-hazed night in the Quicksand, leading him into the eerie depths of Haukke Manor to imbibe on experimental substances harvested from fell creatures. While they remember Arismont himself well, they struggle to process the details of some of their other encounters due to heavy intoxication.

[[Alfeaux_Jeulerand|Alfeaux Jeulerand]] - their current research subject, and one of their top priorities. He suffers an advanced case of Dysfunctional Voidtouch, and as such is brought to an uncontrolled state via Void Possession given certain circumstances. He also seems to have heavily enhanced abilities caused directly by this. Gagacha finds him just plain fascinating.

[[Ukyo_Tosho|Ukyo Tosho]] - Gagacha's Voidology pupil, and second in command of the unofficially-established Equinox Voidology Suite. He is arrogant and self serving, more than a little irritated by his place as their inferior. He has a bad habit of talking just for the sake of listening to himself rather than considering the views of others, and is being humbled daily by Gagacha's position over him.

[[Pepecaru_Memecaru|Pepecaru Memecaru]] - a past associate of Gagacha's, and former member of Ul'dah's Thaumaturge's Guild. They had a casual relationship that Gagacha barely seems to remember. Last he was heard of, Pepecaru was headed to New Gridania.

==Other Notes==

Gagacha is currently my only RP character available on Balmung server, and as such, they've become very versatile out of necessity. While they're more geared toward M/RP and the sordid affairs that come with it, they're willing and able to engage in G/RP and "Be Nice" to people.

==Basic Info==

Gagacha is a typical-looking Lalafell, androgynous to a certain degree and a little chubby. As an assigned-male nonbinary person, they're often confused for either a man or a woman. They don't seem to make any effort to correct this misidentification. They present themself in a somewhat neutralized way, wearing skirts and dresses exceptionally rarely.

Their behavior, however, is rather atypical. They're known to pursue dangerous situations for little to no reason than for their own personal amusement, and as such have made a sort-of career for themself as a Voidologist. Along with their assistant, [[Ukyo_Tosho|Ukyo]], they work under the approval of the Equinox free company. Their practicing of Thaumaturgy and study of Black Magic is a beneficial side effect of their Voidology research, and is their primary form of offense.

This sanction doesn't appear to stop them from engaging in "extra curricular" activities under the radar, such as unconventional alchemy and the hoarding of study materials from slain Voidsent specimens. They have a transient interest in Goldsmithing but cannot maintain enough focus to pursue it actively.

==History==

Gagacha is a victim of Functional Voidtouch, a condition that isn't heavily researched by any save for other Voidologists. Every once in a while, they'll speak of being haunted by a creature they know as "Sargoth", but will give almost no information about it and what it's doing to them. Issues caused by this include bouts of sickness, temporary blindness, and severe depression. However, these symptoms are beaten back by companionship to a point where they almost appear asymptomatic.

They do not appear to have a full awareness of their past, and when asked about it they try their best to change the subject. Some suspect that they may have been born in Garlean-controlled territory, however there is no evidence to support this theory.

Unbeknownst to them, Gagacha apparently lived their life as a well-mannered upper-middle class handicrafter moonlighting as a courtesan in the past, presenting themself as a refined Ul'dahn lady of the evening. They have almost no recollection of this life, and an incident related to the onset of their condition has since caused them to develop an entirely new personality. Recovery of their previous self is likely impossible.
