x. General
<span style="color:#566D7E">Mylene is a traveling independent fisher, who makes small coin from selling her catches to merchants across the three city-states, as well as from picking up fishing jobs from the levemete at the adventurers' guild branches. She is considered to be new to the trade itself, but has been fishing all her life during her past travels with her father.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Soon after the beginning of her journey, Mylene was recruited into an Order of adventurers called The Tomial Order. A free company with a goal to assist with the rebuilding efforts of the encampment in Mor Dhona by taking up a wide variety of freelance jobs. Over time, Mylene has come to see the members of the order as family, and will always make every effort to not only contribute to the order's goals, but also to be a loving and loyal friend to its members.

x. Appearance
<span style="color:#566D7E">For a Hyur Midlander female, Mylene is as plain as they come. She has lightly tanned skin, olive-green eyes, and somewhat unkempt brown hair that falls to her shoulders.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Her body is not built for combat, but despite her frail looking build, she has developed some upper-body strength from carrying equipment on the road during her lifetime, as well as from the occasional use of her bow.

<span style="color:#566D7E">She is on the shorter side of the height spectrum; growing up on the road forced her and her father to be content with whatever food was available for them on that sun, even if it wasn't very nutritious. If a little more coin were available on their hands after a job, they'd manage to acquire some food from the markets at whatever city-state they were near.

x. Past
<span style="color:#566D7E">Mylene grew up as a porter, and for lack of a better word, a ‘lackey’, for a traveling sellsword father named August Wharf (also known as “That Nutter” to a couple of Gridania’s merchants). She often recalls memories of chasing after him as he left her behind, laughing at how slow she was, while he excitedly embarked on a new job to obtain stolen goods or save a lost child. She carried their goods and equipment, took care of all the errands and despite her reluctance towards violence, she was occasionally forced to use her bow alongside her only friend whom she called ‘Father’.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Even with his appearance as a naive, goofy and irresponsible man, August was a very clever and perceptive individual. His wit, combined with his skill with arms, had made almost no quest impossible to him. Yet, looking back, Mylene realized that her father never took on any jobs that endangered them too much; probably because she was traveling with him. Whether or not this was one of the things kept his reputation under the radar is a fact that remains to be seen.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Mylene and her father were never able to stay at one location for a long enough time to make any acquaintances other than their temporary ‘Yorzeans in Distress!’, as August called them. The only familiar faces were the merchants whom they stocked their equipment from. It was running for job after job, traveling between Gridania, Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa, and camping anywhere in between when need be. They were a family who were always alone, together.

<span style="color:#566D7E">But, as Mylene grew older, she began to feel disdain for the way her father always kept them on edge. Despite his cheerful attitude towards her, the way he had always pushed for her to use arms had made her resistant instead of inspired. Eventually, she decided to abandon the bow her father taught her to use... completely. Day after day, that had proven to be difficult; the conflict between the necessity of survival skills and her pacifist morals had created a constant point of argument between her and her father. In some way, Mylene's refusal to fight was her own, weak way of rebelling, embodying her condescension towards the lifestyle her father chose for them.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Nevertheless, Mylene’s simple life on the road with her father, with all its difficulties, taught her valuable life lessons of patience, kindness, and honesty.

x. August Wharf
Life
[RPer's Note: Mylene does not know any of the following. Despite her nagging, her father always kept the story of his past, and her origin, vague.]

<spoiler>
<span style="color:#566D7E">August Wharf, like many young boys his age, dreamed of nothing more than earning the right to the title of Dragoon. Someday he would join epic battles, fighting the dragons under the blessings of the Holy See's Knighthood. He was but a simple Hyur, his father was an errand boy for one of the Hyurian officers at Dragonhead. He was a nobody, in the eyes of the Elezen noble houses, but by Halone, he will one day be celebrated, as one of Ishgard's heroes.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Yet the dream never came. He wrote, visited, begged every messenger and watchman he could find, for a name-drop, an opportunity, anything that could help him apply to the ranks, only to be ignored or rejected. He felt deserted, forsaken by Halone. The anger was driving him insane. He saw others, less capable, less worthy, join the knighthood. Yet he was not about to forsake Ishgard. He was not like the others; he was no traitor.

<span style="color:#566D7E">On a dreadful, snowy night, a man came to him, commending him for his passion and loyalty. He said that he knew of the young boy's situation. "Fear not," he told him. "There is still a way for you, to become a hero for Ishgard".

---

<span style="color:#566D7E">Seven years had passed since that night. He was surprised he had lasted this long. His recruiter came to congratulate him, another successful job. The Faces of Mercy were pleased. He had acquired a taste for blood since he joined, and had lost count of the lives he took. August was celebrated alright, though not in the way he expected to be, growing up.

<span style="color:#566D7E">"I hope that the Gridanian woman was to your liking? A fine reward, I must say." The older man snorted, as he tossed a bag of coin at August's feet.

<span style="color:#566D7E">"Keep it up." He said as he turned away to leave. August looked down at the bag. He kicked it angrily and it hit the leg of one of the chairs, slightly moving it.

---

<span style="color:#566D7E">A couple of more years had passed, he was fed up. He was going to leave the Faces of Mercy, and he wasn't going to get killed. His second 'Faces' contact now owed August his life, and was going to help him escape. August is to be reported dead, and then it would all be over.

---

<span style="color:#566D7E">He went looking for her, the Gridanian woman.. What was he going to do? Beg for her forgiveness? He didn't know, but all he wanted to feel was atonement for what he did to her. As if atoning for that single act could erase all that he'd done.. He knew he sure didn't deserve it.

---

<span style="color:#566D7E">Perhaps Halone enjoyed mocking him.

<span style="color:#566D7E">The conjurer stared at the distressed man, vacantly. "Was she family? You are quite late.."

<span style="color:#566D7E">He had halfway bought his hand up to his eyes when he saw the small child. The resemblance struck him. His eyes widened, looking back at the conjurer.. "What is her name..?"

<span style="color:#566D7E">"Mylene. Like her mother's."

</spoiler>
Death
<spoiler>
<span style="color:#566D7E">It was nearing Mylene's 18th when it happened. Her father had sent her off to nearby Gridania to run errands and restock on supplies. This life took its toll on the girl, he knew, and it wasn't because of all of his practical jokes. She was naive and gentle and she wouldn't have known how to protect herself if he hadn't pushed her to learn how to use his bow. Nonetheless, they were both content, considering the circumstances. After all, they managed to survive the Calamity, together. Every day was a new adventure, and slowly she was coming into her own.

<span style="color:#566D7E">It was later that day when he felt a familiar, uneasy feeling.. He realized that he was being watched. Calling out, his eyes widened as his former recruiter stepped out from behind the bushes.

---

<span style="color:#566D7E">In a hurry, Mylene bid farewell to the Elezen man and ran through the Blue Badger Gate as she carried the bag of newly mended armor on her back. Reaching their camp only to find her father lying down, a single dagger pierced deeply into his chest.
</spoiler>
x. Present
The Beginning of the Journey
<span style="color:#566D7E">After her father's death, Mylene spent some time living a quaint life in the La Noscean countryside with the gil her father had made over the last few jobs he'd taken. Soon enough, though, the money would run out and she would have to figure out a plan for how to support herself for the rest of her life. She decided to make use of her fishing skill and made her way to Limsa Lominsa to register herself at the adventurers' guild there in order to be able to receive fish requests from the levemetes at any of the guild's branches. With that in order, she took an airship to Gridania to settle a small debt her father had left with a merchant, before continuing to Ul'dah, where all of those whom look to make a living go.

Making Friends, and Self-Discovery
<span style="color:#566D7E">Mylene was terrified upon her arrival in Ul'dah. Highly sensitive and quiet, she would show social anxiety traits when she'd meet someone new due to the fact that her father was always the ice-breaker (in an often embarrassing way) when they ran into people. She was used to being accompanied and protected by him and was not accustomed to socializing with strangers any further than making brief exchanges with merchants. With a promise of a meeting from one, she waited at the local tavern, the Quicksand, where a Keeper of the Moon would ask to share her table. Little known to her, that the Miqo'te would eventually come to be the first of many friends she'd make along the way, and one of the very few individuals she'd give her life to protect.

<span style="color:#566D7E">A few suns after her arrival in Ul'dah, she was pulled in to a conversation by a Miqo'te with a Lominsan accent, and a cheerful female Lalafell, whom introduced themselves as members of The Tomial Order. Inspired by their passion, and with a strong desire to see new places around Eorzea, she decides to join them despite her then-reclusive nature. During her earlier days at the order, she would often feel like she was lacking, and unable to contribute, due to being the only non-fighter among the adventurers. Eventually, she would form strong bonds with the Order's members, and would experience incidents, both good and bad, that she would have never been able to experience, otherwise. She now resides with them at the Order's newly obtained quarters at the Mist residential district.

A New Sense of Purpose
<span style="color:#566D7E">Constantly watching her friends get injured or attacked, and knowing that she could do nothing to help them due to her inability to engage in combat, had a profound effect upon Mylene. She realized that, if she had not been so stubborn about her extreme pacifism, she might have been able to help them avoid harm. And that, if she took up the bow once more, she would be able to help them in the future. Was that not what her father might have been trying to teach her all along, that the world is harsh and that she would need to be able to defend herself, and her loved ones, against it?

<span style="color:#566D7E">Mylene reached out to Raikemi Maira; a member of The Tomial Order whose skill and mind she had always admired from a distance. Raikemi would soon become an important figure in Mylene's life; providing her with Archery lessons, advice, and moral support; not only as a mentor, but as a friend.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Though she is set on her new goal, Mylene would not yet abandon her fishing rod. She now continues to balance her fishing trade and her archery lessons, as she experiences more adventures with her friends. Yet, she is no heroine by any stretch of the imagination; as she still finds herself nervous about dealing with combat, and will only reach for her bow under extreme circumstances.

x. Behavior/Personality
<span style="color:#566D7E">As Ul'dah is the crossroads in the desert, Mylene found herself meeting with plenty of people, many of them far outside of her previous limits of comfort, which had been safely defined by her father. With this flurry of acquaintances, and the myriad situations they brought with them, she has steeled herself to develop a backbone, and the ability to actually hold a conversation with them, even going as far as being able to display her passion or displeasure when she needs to express them, even if that display leans towards timidness, still. This is a major improvement from the extremely anxious and silent demeanor she displayed when she started her journey alone.

<span style="color:#566D7E">She hates the feeling of being labeled as useless. This stems from the judgement she used to receive when expressing her distaste for combat. She gets a lot of drive from the feeling of being trusted and the feeling of taking care of someone else whom she is close to. Thus, companionship and loyalty are very important to her. She strives to help out those she cares for, and is usually devastated when her offer to help is rejected, whether directly or indirectly.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Mylene can be passive at times. Her anxious nature often makes her turn away from pursuing the things she wants if she feels that pursuing them will create some sort of conflict of interest with those around her. She also suffers from a lot of self-doubt, as well as the tendency to internalize things too much, causing herself and others some misunderstandings.

<span style="color:#566D7E">Sometimes, without realizing, she will rub her left wrist when she is nervous.

x. Relationships
[Slowly adding more in this section. Characters will be listed in alphabetical order.]

Alexei Volkov - Different, different how this man regards Eorzea, and how everyone regards him. Volatile, volatile how his relationship with Kahn'a could change, and how Alexei's relationship within himself seems to be changing. Sad, sad how a man is tormented by his past, but... hopeful to see him try to live beyond that. Mylene has been told not to worry about him now, but she will still, if only for his sake.

Charlotte Tiln and Siegfried Tiln - Known, only to Mylene, as Catra and Bruh'a Buremi. These two Keepers of the Moon have wrought immense change upon her. In some way, the two siblings share part of the same essence. Though their methods often differed in how they pursued their obsession. Though now a part of her past, Mylene feels the impact they made on her every day, even if the memories are tinged with sadness.

Ciel Wulfe - Mylene met Ciel alongside Yvelont Navarre. An image of femininity and elegance in Mylene's eyes, which makes any compliment received from Ciel all the more flattering. Ciel is also a mysterious enigma to Mylene, as she observes more sides to the Elezen upon every encounter. An ally and friend, Mylene looks forward to any opportunity to converse with Ciel, or to watch the songstress perform.

Gunnolf Hellfire - Known to Mylene as "Pup", her close Lalafell friend, bereft of sight. The lack of light in his eyes has not dimmed his zeal for the world, though. Mylene takes every chance she can to make the little things in this one's life easier: patting chairs to give him a sense of where they are, and helping to make sure that he still feels connected with the world. Pup has been a bright spot in her life, a teddy bear that she finds herself wanting to hold when things get especially dark.

Hitari Senjougahara and Yonene Yone - A charismatic Hyur and a friendly Lalafell. The two "sisters" of The Tomial Order. They have both made Mylene feel comfortable and welcome upon her joining the order. Mylene feels safe around them and is at her most talkative when the three of them are spending time together, and even though that might not happen often, at the slightest need, she would drop everything and run to their aid, no matter what.

Kahn'a Od'hilkas - From the very beginning, he was the first person to take note of her. As the world inside the Quicksand swirled around Mylene, tumultuous, he took a seat at her table. Though this shocked her, he would be the one to continuously provide her with a measure of security within the bustling city of Ul'dah. She looks to him as a friend, a brother, a role model, in a way. Although they no longer get many chances to spend time together, they often sends letters to one another, correspondence being unfettered by the bonds that their circumstances put on them.

Kelsa Tathdel - Mylene takes kindly to the friendly highlander, and is thankful for her role in the healing of her friend Hitari. Though Kelsa's strength both amazes and frightens Mylene, especially after witnessing Kelsa display one of her combat techniques on K'hoshi's arm, rendering it paralyzed for a few moments. Despite that, Mylene is appreciative towards Kelsa's view on the value of people's lives.

Mykaul Valeroyant - After their first meeting, Mylene could feel nothing but guilt. It was because of how he stood up for her that Mykaul got into trouble with his employer, and with Kahn'a, at the time. Since then, every time she ran into him, he had helped her in some way. She feels a lot of gratitude towards him and wishes she could return his favors one day.

Raikemi Maira - Raikemi is Mylene's friend, and mentor. Her words cut sometimes with their decisive manner, but Raikemi's imperious tone crystallized that Mylene would either do her best, or fail completely. It reminded her of the pressure she had been put under by her father, but by this time Mylene knew why she should take up the bow. She inspires Mylene greatly, evident by how wide-eyed the latter usually is when Raikemi is present. However, recent events had brought Mylene disappointment, leading her to believe that Raikemi may not be the absolute symbol of justice she thought her to be.

S'imba Tia - It feels like S'imba's gotten into a hole and the sides keep collapsing in on him, ever since the first time they met each other. Always injured, always recuperating from something after she saw him broken on the floor of the Quicksand. Though their relationship started off somewhat strained, she still did all she could for the young Miqo'te, even if he doesn't necessarily need her help. Over time, she's become protective of him, like a little brother she could never keep her eyes on, their relationship righting itself from the awful start that it had.

Sabathius Kath'Lani - Mylene feels great pride when he calls her his pledged sister. She carries a lot of respect for him and admires his gentle demeanor towards others. He tends to pat Mylene on the head, and as loved as she feels by it, it often embarrasses her like it would a child. She often recalls the words he'd said to her when she first joined the order; "There might come times where yer not goin' t' just be fishin'."

Shido Itsuka - Alongside Yonene Yone, Shido was the Miqo'te who'd stopped Mylene in the middle of the street, and managed to recruit her into The Tomial Order. He is gentle with Mylene, and had always defended her pacifist choices . He may not approve of the fact that she has begun to get into combat, but she sees his genuineness and believes him when he says that he considers her family, a sentiment she returns.

Sukina Cassady - Sukina's passionate manner towards combat used to intimidate Mylene, and her curiousity towards Mylene's reluctance to fight was interpreted as judgement by the latter. As time progressed, and as the two spent more time around one another, Mylene came to appreciate Sukina's spirit and deep care for the well being of her comrades, and now considers her a kind and trustworthy friend.

Yvelont Navarre - Mylene had not yet a chance to befriend any of the Elezen before she met Yvelont. Upon their first meeting, she couldn't even look at him straight after falling flat on her face, as she tripped on his longsword during a gathering at the Coffer and Coffin. She would run into the Elezen a few times after, and developed an unlikely friendship with him. Resembling an older brother figure, he was able to give Mylene comfort and sound advice, and even though their meetings are now rare, Mylene still looks fondly on their past conversations.

x. Rumors
* "A sweet little bird, this one. Mylene goes all out for friends, to the point where she would disregard her own comfort if it meant she could provide help. Don't you dare lay your dirty mitts on her, because I'll be coming for you." - Kahn'a Od'hilkas
Character
General
Shido is more or less a freelancing Paladin currently living his life as a leader of The Tomial Order, an adventurer-based company. Before the company formed he was freelancing any jobs he could get his hands on, all the while traveling throughout Eorzea to find a certain person he met 9 years ago. He does not have great difficulty talking about his past, but usually leaves alot of it out, and doesn't tend to speak of the subject unless asked directly.

Appearance
Usually found smiling, and laughing, Shido is a Miqo'te with snow-white hair, adorned with golden tips. He is a bit on the taller spectrum of his race, usually beating even some Hyur Midlanders in height. His eyes are discolored, for no special reason only that he was born that way, his left eye golden-yellow, while his right ocean-blue. On his face he has tattoos on his cheek that his mother gave to him at a very young age, and near the corner of his right eye, he has a tattoo of a faded heart. His body may look a bit slim, but under all of his armor is a lean, muscular figure from years of training and traveling. Around his body stands quite a bit of slash and stab scars, mainly from the battle of Carteneau and his adventures. A very big scar, more profound then the others, rested on Shido's left side. Shido is usually seen with his red cuirass and boots on, symbolizing his favorite color and the city he comes from, he also wears a beret he recieved from his time in the Knights of the Barracudas.

Personality
Despite his care-free nature, Shido takes care in everything he does, and is very capable of handling himself in most situations. He is also extremely respectful to those who he has deemed worthy to earn his respect, and he tries not to judge until he figures out the true nature of a person. He tends to try to help others, either directly or indirectly, showing his loose compassion for everything. Tends to be drunk more often than not, though he has calmed down a great amount, his behavior changes a great deal to a hot-headed/happy type. Shido speaks with a thick accent from his years of living in Limsa Lominsa, and time serving in the 'Cudas. He feels that loyalty, humility, courage, and respect are the most important traits for a person.

Combat
General
Shido is somewhat of a master of fencing, though unorthodox in his style, he is extremely deadly with a one-handed sword. He learned how to fence from his father and his mates as a Barracuda, he had also picked up the use of the shield in his early teens. Though not official, he has learned the ways of the Sultansworn from his caretaker, an ex-paladin, further enhancing his abilities as a fighter. He is also very proficient at hand-to-hand combat and in his early days participated in underground fighting clubs held at Limsa, though still no match for Hitari head on. His style consists of using a single sword to fence and he throws in a mix of kicks and punches. He also uses whatever he has on him, and his environment to face his opponent, always having more than one trick up his sleeve. Shido has no skill in magic or manifestation of Aether whatsoever.

History
Early years in Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa
Shido was born in Ul'dah to a pair of Miqo'te, a far-eastern merchant and a Limsan native. His father, the merchant, is named Junpei Wahorah and his mother, Y'zula Rhikita met in Limsa Lominsa a few years back, and were living in Ul'dah at the time. They were not an overly-welathy family, but well-off some could argue, thus Shido was a bit spoiled growing up. Being the spoiled "rich" child he was constantly bullied and made no friends, unless you include the books he read. Witnessing this, his mother suggested that they move back to Limsa Lominsa, believing that Shido would fit in better with the children around there. One Shido turned the age of five, they set out and moved back to Limsa Lominsa, where they owned a nice house on the outskirts of the city. The bullying did lessen a bit, but it was still very profound, and would lead to Shido staying home and reading books from his father's collection. During this time his father would train Shido in the basics of fencing, building a solid foundation for his swordplay. This continued for three years, and reading stacks, upon stacks of books, he improved his education significantly for his age.

Shido's Loss
A few months after his 8th birthday, Shido's father took the family and a few crew members out for a trip to the Indigo Deep on his merchant ship, after months of pestering from Shido himself. They finally set sail for the Indigo Deep, expecting to come back in a a few days. Out on the Indigo, the family had a picnic with the crew, and Shido wandered off to the front of the ship, near the bow sprit. As he looked out onto the horizon with childish amazement, a small ship caught his eye, but he thought nothing of it. It came at incredible speed towards his father's ship and sudden realization hit him, he ran down to his parents and called out "Pirates!" The ship-hands jumped up to the railings, trying to ready the ship for sail, but it was too late. There were already hooks latched to the railings, with men climbing up with incredible speed. Shido stood there and watched as the crew fought off the pirates boarding, not noticing his mother running to him and picking him up. Y'zula rushed into the captain's quarters, Junpei follwoing closely behind. They shut the door behind them, listening to the butchering screams.

Shido's mother said to him in a frightened voice, "Remember no matter what happens, ye father and I will always love ye to death."

There was banging at the door as Junpei exclaimed, "That's right Shido, stay back!"

Y'zula grabbed Shido and held him close, retreating to the end of the room near the windows. A burly Hyur Midlander bust in through the door, and Junpei drew his sword. Shido always admired his father's skill in fencing, and Junpei fought valiantly, killing the intruder. It did prove to be a futile resistance, two Miqo'tes rushed in, followed by an Elezen, of whom which pinned Shido's father down. He heard his mother scream as he watched his father's throat severed right before his eyes, a red mist forming in the air, a memory he will never forget. The pirates looked to Shido and his mother, and walked slowly towards them. They grabbed his mother and dragged her away from a crying Shido.

*Important please skip the next paragraph if you are bothered or disturbed by excessive violence and/or rape etc...

The pirates pulled Y'zula away, and proceeded to rip off her clothes. The Elezen came to Shido and tied him up, "Watch this, boy." The two Miqo'te pirates then raped Y'zula, with the Elezen forcing Shido to watch all the while. After all was said and done more pirates came in and did the same in turn to Y'zula, Shido being forced to watch again and again. He was then beaten whenever the men felt like it, and lost consciousness a number of times, only to wake up to the horrible sight again.

In summary of the last chapter, incase you skipped it, Shido's mother is raped, and Shido forced to watch over and over again.

This continued for two days, until on the second day, shouts came from the outside, " 'Cudas! Take what ye can 'n let's go!" The men currently in the room with Shido, grabbed his mother and one of them stuck his sword into her abdomen. The Elezen came to Shido and impaled him in the side, leaving him for dead. Shido laid there on the floor for what felt like two eternities, trying to deal with the immense pain in his side. He was looking at his mother, trying to find a sign of movement, but it was an effort for naught, once he heard footsteps coming from the direction of the doors. He looked up and saw an old Hyur man check his mother's body, and shake his head before proceeding to Shido. The old man looked at Shido with worry then yelled, "We got a live one 'ere!"

The Knights of the Barracuda
The old man turned out to be an ex-paladin working as a mop-hand for the Knights of the Barracuda. Shido was picked up by the ship and after gathering things from his parents' house, he was officially "adopted" by the ship, after getting the necessary paper work from the Maelstrom. The old Hyur was Shido's primary caretaker, teaching him about the world and how to work, with the rest of the crew always willing to lend a hand. Reluctant to open up at first, he finally took comfort in these men and considered them to be his family after a year and a half. The ship's crew quickly took a liking to Shido, as he was the youngest on the ship, they taught him a variety of skills, one being the current fencing style he uses today. At the age of twelve Shido was an official member of the Barracuda levy, and about this point is when Shido started to excel at fencing, learning very advanced techniques, from a quarte to a prise de fer. He also started to fight in clubs in Limsa's underground, ironically fighting many pirate, for he did not hold a grudge against pirates as a whole, but rather the specific one's that raided his ship years ago. Missing his mother dearly, he went and got a tattoo of a pink heart near the corner of his right eye. He spents his days drinking, fighting, and working, saving every bit of money on the way, for he hated to gamble, despite loving to play cards.

First love
When Shido hit the age of 17, the mop-hand died of old age, and he volunteered for a job that was stationed at Gridania, this is when he finally experienced his first love. He met a young Miqo'te girl about his age, maybe a year younger, while loading and unloading supplies sent from Limsa. His mates constantly teased him and his puppy love, telling him to just talk to her. Shido had no experience with the other gender, and was painfully shy, when one day the Miqo girl came up to him and gave him a rose. She smiled at him and ran away, leaving a blushing Shido standing there by himself. These small acts continued for a year, which he did smalls acts as such in return such as; writing her letters and leaving it by her door, cooking an extra lunch and dropping it by the window of her room, and constantly waved everytime he saw her (which was quite embarassing for her.) On his last day at after two years of working in Gridania, they had not yet even learned eachother's names, when the young Miqo girl came up and gave Shido a parting kiss a minute before he set off. She whispered into his ear, "K'neko Grishta," and she ran off into the woods back to Gridania, as Shido called after her, "Shido Itsuka!"

Carteneau
Shido had hit the age of 20 and his levy was set off, bound for Mor Dhona a few days before Carteneau ensued. On the way, a strange mist rolled up upon the ship, once they were nearing the coast and the ship crashed into a jagged rock, wrecking the ships into splinters. All of the crew survived and washed up upon the shore, the crew took the whole day to gather what supplies they had left and made way to Old Revenant's Toll. Once they arrived, they were given new clothes and were charged with being reinforcements, should the battle need them. Once the battle started, Shido was charged with protecting a supply camp when a sudden call for reinforcements was heard. His unit was to be ready and sent to the frontline in fifteen minutes. Once he made it to the frontlines and thrown into the full of the fight, he had great difficultly, for his fencing-style was made more to fight an enemy one on one. Multiple opponents surrounded him, but with the help of the comrades around him, he prevailed, and was exhausted. Despite his exhaustion he fought as hard as his body would allow him, using every dirty trick he had up his sleeve, literally. He used the whiskey he kept in his boot and drenched multiple enemies, and a Gridanian mage set them ablaze. He looked back at the mage, and his eyes lit up instantly, "K'neko!" He exclaimed. The those words left his mouth, a Garlean Centurion knocked Shido unconscious. The battle raged on and Shido was dragged out by a certain Gridanian Mage, and he was sent back to Limsa before the battle was over. Once back in Limsa Lominsa, Shido slept in his coma for 3 months.

A New Adventure
Once Shido woke up from his coma, he was diagnosed with a mild case of amnesia, forgetting all of the events of Carteneau. He learned that he was there and that his whole crew had sacrificed themselves in the war. Distraught and disheartened from the loss of yet another family, he left the Barracudas shortly after being assigned to his new levy. Shido then decided to use the money he inherited and the money he saved up all these years to buy his way to Gridania, in hope of finding the girl that caught his eye so many years ago. In Gridania he found no sign of her, and asked around, learning that she had disappeared after the Calamity. He stayed there for about a month to help in the building of new projects, and finally a common swindler suggested that he invest his money into a company that would manufacture armor on a world-basis. Naive as Shido was, he accepted and the swindler ran off with Shido's money the day of. Now with not a penny to his name, he set out once more, now as an adventurer, after losing everything he had worked for. Through his travels he learned to be an expert chef, some even dubbing him as the "Whiskey Wizard of Cooking," which he then later adapted to the Beach Wizard. Due to his cooking, he enjoys good food and good alcohol, frowning upon simple meals and cheap liquor. Shido became quite fond of Costa del Sol, so whenever he was in La Noscea that was the one place he is seen most at, due to the fact that there were no shortage of cute vacationers he's spent nights of passion with, but it will never be enough to satisfy the enormous gap in his heart. This is where he met Sabathius Kath'lani, Shido was roaring drunk at the time, and came upon the giant crab that resides there, instantly picking a fight. Sabathius caught eye of this and rushed over to assist the drunk Miqo'te that was swinging around a sword recklessly. Sabathius was the one to actually defeat the crab and the two struck up a friendship almost instantly. Hitari came shortly after, looking for Shido, witnessing Shido trying to sell Sabathius an "excorsism," in which Sabathius refused. About a year later, after going there separate ways, the three formed The Tomial Order, as a company for adventurers. He is now looking for a more permanent home and family, which he hopes to find in the Order.

The Little Sister
Haku was born when Shido was 7 years of age and she was sent to the Far-East to live with their grandparents. If there's one thing Shido loves in this world, it's his little sister. Recently, Shido made a trip to the far-east and brought Haku back with him, now he's constantly pestered by Haku and usually looking for her. She constantly causes trouble around to gain attention from Shido, making up for lost years.

::*Hitari Senjougahara- One of Shido's closest friends, has a high respect for Hitari and her combat skill. Even believing that she may best him on the battlefield, given the circumstances. Thinks that she is a bit hot-headed, but this has proved to save his ass a countless number of times. She is a moderator for Shido if he gets too rowdy.

::*Sabathius Kath'Lani-Shido considers Sabathius as a brother to him, and Sab has earned an extreme amount of trust from Shido. He admires Sabathius' personality and tact, respecting his strong-willed character. Secretly he itches to fight Sabathius one day, testing their capabilities.

::*Ragnar Eisenberg- Looks to Ragnar as a big brother type fifigure, though recently acquainted, Shido almost idolizes Ragnar's friendly nature. Shido feels the two have a great relationship and a similar taste in humor. Though not what he would pick for himself, Shido likes Ragnar's fighting style, it shows a vast control in his plentiful strength.

::*Sukina Cassady- Also just recently acquainted, Shido believes Sukina to have neverending potential, and a will to not give up. Having sparred with her once, he finds her style very rigid and traditional , although it also has a strong foundation, reminding him a bit of when he was training in the basics of fencing. Shido, being an experienced fighter, feels a bit of shame when watching Sukina fight with such valor.

::*Aerack Dawnshadow- See's Aerack as an extremely good-hearted invidual with a mission, much like his own. Aerack is searching for his sister, and Shido hopes to help him in this quest. He recruited Aerack into the Order at The Drowning Wench, suspecting he was new to the city. Though never seeing Aerack in combat, Shido commends him for sparring with Ragnar, a great feat not easily done.

::* Aerius Destroven- Shido met this particular person a long time ago at the Quicksand. Shido was incredibly drunk each time, and often approached Aerius as the Beach Wizard. After talking to Aerius recently, Shido recruited him into the Order, in hopes that Aerius finds a place to belong to . By nature he sees Aerius as a very valuable, and peculiar, individual with a questionable set of skills, and motive unclear, despite this Shido feels that he can trust him.

::*Yonene Yone- A fresh recruit in most all terms, but a promising one. Shido personally loves to tease her, to see the kinds of reactions he can spark in her and those around him. He instanly suspected Hitari to be all over this Lalafell, and hw was correct. Shido also knows that Yonene cannot handle alcohol very well and is always amused to see her (try to) drink, sparking Shido to give her a glass whenever possible.
Character
General
Shido is more or less a freelancing Paladin currently living his life as a leader of The Tomial Order, an adventurer-based company. Before the company formed he was freelancing any jobs he could get his hands on, all the while traveling throughout Eorzea to find a certain person he met 9 years ago. He does not have great difficulty talking about his past, but usually leaves alot of it out, and doesn't tend to speak of the subject unless asked to by someone he trusts.

Haku was born when Shido was 7 years of age and she was sent to the Far-East to live with their grandparents. If there's one thing Shido loves in this world, it's his little sister.

He is also extremely respectful to those who he has deemed worthy to earn his respect, and he tried not to judge until he figures out the true nature of a person.

Character

Shido is usually seen with his red cuirass and boots on, symbolizing his favorite color and the city he comes from, he also wears a beret he got from his time in the Knights of the Barracudas.

Personality
Despite his care-free nature, Shido takes care in everything he does, and is very capable of handling himself in most situations. He is also extremely respectful to those who he has deemed worthy to earn his respect, and he tried not to judge until he figures out the true nature of a person.

Friends

Friends

There was banging at the door as Junpei exclaimed, "That's right Shido, stay back!"

Y'zula grabbed Shido and held him close, retreating to the end of the room near the windows. A burly Hyur Midlander bust in through the door, and Junpei drew his sword. This continued for two days, until on the second day, shouts came from the outside, " 'Cudas!

Friends

::* Fencing: In a formal school, Shido could be considered a master of fencing, if only he would fight with a bit more "honor."
Character

===Friends===

His father, the merchant, is named Junpei Wahorah and his mother, Y'zula Rhikita met an Limsa Lominsa a few years back, and were living in Ul'dah at the time.

His father, the merchant, is named Junpei Wahorah and his mother, Y'zula Rhikita met an Limsa Lominsa a few years back, and were living in Ul'dah at the time.
