While Jayce enjoys social settings he finds himself unusually reserved in building meaningful relationships. This guardedness originates from his childhood, which he rarely shares with others, where he finds himself continually losing those he finds important. Incidentally, those who he builds relationships with become extremely important and something he strives to protect.

Many describe Jayce on the battlefield as cold and calculating. He focuses on utilizing his own strengths and those of his companions in a manner that bring about the utmost efficiency. During missions he finds himself utterly cold-blooded and only those close to him are able to snap him out of his blood-lust.

While a snapshot of Jayce on the battlefield would indicate being a ruthless warrior, he’s extremely compassionate. He continually goes out of his way to help those who can’t help themselves. Individuals who are called ‘friend’ by Jayce find that he becomes protective of them. He has found that fighting on the battlefield alone is preferable after a rather terrible experience where he lost focus after a comrade became injured and almost died himself. However, if adventuring with close friends he makes an effort to remain vigilant to keep them and himself out of harm.

If Jayce doesn’t keep active during adventuring his mind wanders to less than ideal places. To cope with this and tough times in general he likes to play the violin, which he received from his childhood friend Darien, in solitude. This allows him to refocus and shift his mind to the happy memories instead of those filled with loss.

When he was 18 he lost both his best friend and adoptive parent when Dalamud fell from the sky. Now 23, Jayce has an irrational fear that he’ll lose something dear when his namesday arrives.

==History==
:Soliloquy began as an idea bouncing around between a group of friends. They had big plans in the beginning, a theater troupe and a play to start them all off, but when no one stepped up to take on the role of leader, they let the idea drift off into oblivion for a while.

:Enter Xenedra Ambreaus, freshly free from the disbanded Eorzean Guard and bored out of her mind. With her feather duster of revitalization, she dusted clean the idea she and her friends had had all those months before and began to take steps toward actually bringing the concept to life. With the help of one of the aforementioned friends, Myllor Aurelion, she was able to purchase a long abandoned building in the Ward District of Limsa Lominsa and began the process of gutting the cobweb farm and building it anew. (Special thanks to Gospel Gestalt: carpenter and Endemerrin Rosethorne: electrician!)

:In what seemed like no time, her work was finished and the grand opening came and went. However, not long after, the red ball of death in the sky, Dalamud, started to become an ever closer looming threat. Literally. As a member of Limsa Lominsa's Maelstrom Company, Xenedra was constantly pulled away from the tavern and so the doors were closed not long after they were opened. Then, during the doomed Battle of Carteneau she and many others disappeared, presumed killed by Bahamut's Mega Flare.

:This left the tavern in the soul ownership of Myllor. Rather than liquidate it and its assets to make back his investment, however, he chose to reopen and run the tavern in Xenedra's memory. For the past five years, with the help of Xenedra's hired bar wench, Abaigeal Causland, Myllor has kept Soliloquy going. Recently, with the return of Xenedra (and the other missing Grand Company members), activity at the tavern has picked up once more and the dream is once again on the rise.

Isabel was born and grew up on her families farm, assisting with the harvesting and planting of La Noscean wheat. When she was four cycles old, her father contracted a fatal illness and passed away, leaving her mother to care for their farm. Isabel grew very close to her mother as she got older, taking up many responsibilities that her dad once had. When she reached the age of 16, she left home for Limsa Lominsa where she enlisted in the Grand Company The Maelstrom where she became a skilled archer and scout.

She was present during the Battle of Carteneau and was presumed missing in action until her arrival in Limsa Lominsa five cycles later.

While Jayce enjoys social settings he finds himself unusually reserved in building meaningful relationships. This guardedness originates from his childhood, which he rarely shares with others, where he finds himself continually losing those he finds important. Incidentally, those who he builds relationships with become extremely important and something he strives to protect.

Many describe Jayce on the battlefield as cold and calculating. He focuses on utilizing his own strengths and those of his companions in a manner that bring about the utmost efficiency. During missions he finds himself utterly cold-blooded and only those close to him are able to snap him out of his blood-lust.

While a snapshot of Jayce on the battlefield would indicate being a ruthless warrior, he’s extremely compassionate. He continually goes out of his way to help those who can’t help themselves. Individuals who are called ‘friend’ by Jayce find that he becomes protective of them. He has found that fighting on the battlefield alone is preferable after a rather terrible experience where he lost focus after a comrade became injured and almost died himself. However, if adventuring with close friends he makes an effort to remain vigilant to keep them and himself out of harm.

If Jayce doesn’t keep active during adventuring his mind wanders to less than ideal places. To cope with this and tough times in general he likes to play the violin, which he received from his childhood friend Darien, in solitude. This allows him to refocus and shift his mind to the happy memories instead of those filled with loss.
