==Appearance==
Tilidi has a smooth, rounded face. His cheeks are rosy and littered with light freckles, as well as his shoulders. His pointed ears stick straight out and are a little on the long side. The Lalafell is the slightest bit chubby in his tummy, the slight curves in his hips somewhat visible but hidden due to the long coats and ponchos he enjoys wearing often. He is small for his race, being 2'10" and not even reaching 3 fulms in height.

The Lalafell's rusted red hair is cut short, yet straight and silky. His complexion is very fair, his eyes a soft jaded colour. His soft features and hair often have him getting mistaken for a female at times.

==History==
Tilidi, a confident, bright, and cheery Lalafellin youth, had a fairly nice childhood growing up. He lived with his mom, Tisusu Tisu, and dad, Sasadi Lilidi, growing up in La Noscea, adopting a combination of his mother and father’s name once he became old enough to name himself. They owned a medium house in the Mist, his father being an avid adventurer and something of a treasure hunter. Having found quite a few treasures, the family of Lalafell were able to easily live off selling them whenever gil became short. Once Tilidi was old enough, his mother started having him help with cooking meals, starting with small tasks such as adding spices or chopped vegetables to pots of stew. After observing his mother cook and participating in a few acts of cooking, Tilidi showed an interest in it, having his mother teach him how to cook and prepare meals.

Though his father was sometimes busy with adventuring and searching for treasures during the day, Tilidi felt closest to his father, enjoying the tales he’d share about mages and magicks. After hearing so many stories about black, white, red, summoning etc, an interest in the crafts sparked in him. He made it his own personal goal to someday learn what they had to offer, though he had no idea how he’d go about doing so.

Years passed, Tilidi continued to have a bright childhood... That changed on one fateful day(Age 16). As per usual, Tilidi’s father had set out for another day of treasure hunting, but he never returned at the time he usually did. Tilidi and his mother grew worried, though she tried to settle her son’s growing concern with reassurance that his father would be home the following day. To both of their dismay, he never returned. Tisu brought out her son to hang missing persons posters, only to learn from a passing traveller that Sasadi was spotted getting taken by pirates to be sold into imperial slavery the day prior. Stricken by grief from the news, Tisu was quickly thrown into hysterics, having lost her husband to pirates and the imperial army. Tilidi, trying to keep a sturdy facade in this time of despair, tried to help get his mother home to calm her down. When she finally fell asleep from exhaustion and fatigue, Tilidi went outside. His facade collapsed, the Lalafell finally breaking down into tears, himself after holding it in while he was trying to stay strong for his mother. Not even a few minutes into the quiet breakdown, Tilidi was visited by a voidsent. She tempted him with the power to bring down the ones who stole his father away from him and his mother. Anger and grief blinded him as he took a few moments before accepting her offer. The voidsent touched him, slightly corrupting his aether and speaking of the day that he would turn into a voidsent himself as the corruption slowly spreads before vanishing.

That night, a dormant power for magic awoke in him after being visited and corrupted by the voidsent. After some experimentation with it, he decided to pay a visit to the thaumaturge’s guild to help get accustomed to his newly found powers. Once satisfied, he also began delving in white, red, and summoning magic, though he found summoning magic to be more of a struggle, having to use the horn to maintain his carbuncle summons. He’s mostly proficient in black magic, though.

Tilidi would come home after his teachings, though his mother was struggling to provide for the both of them, Sasadi being the one who helped with most of the finances. Tilidi took note of this. Wanting to help his mother and provide for her and himself, he took up gambling, participating in Triple Triad matches for actual gil instead of MGP. He learned to manipulate, bluff, cheat, and lie during these matches to win, as well as disconnecting himself from his competitors to not feel bad for his wins that he desperately sought. these tactics used in his game melting into his overall disposition. When his mother asked where he’d be going every night and how he came back with gil, he began deceiving her, saying he’d picked up treasure hunting like his father, feigning that sweet and gentle disposition to convince her.

In the age of 17, Tilidi met another Lalafellin male(the same age as himself). He was wealthy, something Tilidi took note in. The Lalafellin male, Rurupaba Ninipaba, took an interest in Tilidi. A romantic one. He began making advances. Tilidi didn’t reciprocate until Rurupaba offered a handful of gil for a date and a night of sleeping with him to see how things went. He then accepted. The following day, Rurupaba asked if they could continue seeing each other. As much as Tilidi didn’t want to, the thought of obtaining more gil from this wealthy Lala played in the back of his mind, so much so to the point where he agreed. He didn’t have any real romantic or sexual feelings for Rurupaba, going along with what he wanted just to build up trust so Tilidi could start squeezing out gil from the Dunesfolk. The one-sided relationship lasted a little more than a year(18yoa) before Rurupaba was completely and utterly infatuated with Tilidi. He attempted to propose to Tilidi, the proposal getting hastily turned down, Tilidi quickly giving Rurupaba the cold shoulder, not wanting to dive into that much of a commitment for gil and leaving the Dunesfolk, fed up with him.

A little after, Tilidi had been picked up by The Shadow Ward, able to make a living for him and his mother there as the head healer.

==Personality==

Tilidi is cunning and crafty, though he tries to hide that side of himself with a friendly, innocent, and kind personality. He will often use this facade of his to get people to trust him so he can use them as an asset later on if he so chooses, though that doesn’t mean he isn’t sincere with his kindness all the time.
He will have times where his mischievous side will show and he’ll become playful and tease people.

When provoked, he’s prone to having a bit of a temper, but he tries to keep said temper under wraps.

He tends to not like taking 'no' for an answer, becoming rather pushy unless the no is coming from a higher up or someone of importance.

When Tilidi's not enjoying his downtime or working as a restauranteur, he is accompanying his best friend, Urien Rhaegal, who goes by the alias of Bete Noire the Dark Knight, in his mysterious double-life under his own alias known as Blanca Noche the White Mage. As Blanca, Tilidi has to disguise his voice to keep his identity protected. Though, him disguising his voice causes Blanca's voice to come out very femanine, causing others to think Blanca female, to both his dismay and advantage. </font>
Having known Urien for years, Tilidi and his loyal friend now live together in the Mist, accompanied by a couple of roommates.

The Lalafell is also easily excitable. When carrying on in a conversation, Tilidi will show his levels of high energy with "Oh, oh!"s or extending his vowels to exhibit his passion towards something and when he's trying to stress a point. Occasionally, he will erupt into blissful giggles when he's enjoying the conversation to it's fullest, as well as when he finds something amusing.

If it hasn't been established already, Tilidi is also very friendly and kind in mannerisms. He's quick to try and make friends with anyone and everyone, not discriminating against their race, gender, or sexual orientation. He tries to treat everyone as he would want to be treated, usually coming off as naive and childish due to his innocent appearance and sweet disposition.
The only time he will break from his own normalcy is when someone treats him unkindly, teases him, or pokes fun at him, usually causing a reaction anywhere from a pout to angrily raising his voice depending on how far he's pushed.

Gentle. <i>Serene.</i></b></font> Blanca carries herself as a very serene White Mage, staying relaxed and composed as she gracefully handles situations with her more brutal Dark Knight counterpart, Bete Noire. She remains level-headed, also showing leader-ship qualities at times as Tilidi would. Blanca shares Noire's desire for justice and faithfully follows him to be rid of any and all corruption, supporting him as he goes about his duties.
Very soft-spoken to those around her, Blanca leads conversations when Noire chooses not to speak.

<font style="color: #000; letter-spacing: 0em; text-align: justify; text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #b8b8b8;">Jaliqai was trained in a number of different hunting and combative skills, typical of a Qulaani child expected to one day grow into a strong and proud hunter. Her early training lessons focused mainly on two types of weaponry: <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>the greatsword</b></font> and <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>the longbow</b></font>. Qulaani tradition tends to favor weapons with longer ranges -- those that keep their wielders well out range of would-be quarry's claws and jaws.

Only in her later years, when Jaliqai began to learn that her specialty lie more in the tracking and hunting of <i>people</i> rather than beasts, did she begin to take up <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>knives and daggers</b></font>. While the greatsword is great against large beasts, she found the maneuverability and versatility -- not to mention the ease of concealment -- of smaller blades to better suit the hunting of man. This was a skill largely picked up during her early days as a Bounty Hunter in Othard and honed over the years since. Now, daggers tend to be her most favored melee combat weapons.

She also has some moderate training in <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>hand-to-hand combat</b></font>. While she's not trained in any sort of formal bare-handed martial art, the basics of handling oneself when disarmed is also part of a well-rounded Qulaani combat education. Rather than relying on pure physical strength or aetherically-enhanced techniques, Jaliqai's unarmed style focuses on being quick, hitting strategic locations, and not getting hit, herself.

Nowadays, with her hunting of beasts becoming increasingly infrequent, her proficiency with a greatsword has been lagging behind her knifework and archery. She usually prefers now to pick up a bow and fight from a distance, or using blades and her natural quickness and dexterity to try and <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>end fights before they really have a chance to begin</b></font> -- especially against larger or more capable opponents. If all else fails, she tries to fall back on her quickness and evasion, <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>wearing an opponent down little by little</b></font> to make taking them down easier.

But of course, capable as she is, she also has a number of weaknesses, the most notable of which being her <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>relatively low aetheric defense</b></font>. Jaliqai, like most Qulaani, carries a genetic trait that not only makes her unable to manipulate aether, but also highly susceptible to aetheric attacks. <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>Even aetheric <i>healing</i></b></font> leaves Jaliqai quite sick and/or greatly drained of energy more often than not, her body simply unable to cope with the influence of foreign aether upon it.</font>

I wouldn't say that I'm <i>not</i> walk-up friendly. However, even when I'm out and around, most of the time I'm alt-tabbed working on something and not keeping up with my chat log. That said, <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>sending me a tell before you post at me is usually recommended.</b></font> This lets me know to redirect my window to the game if I'm available, and it saves you time in writing up a post if it turns out that I can't -- and it allows me to try and set up a raincheck with you if possible!</font></div>

I love the chance to play Jaliqai off of more characters and get in more delicious character development! <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>However, PLEASE take note of the following things first to make sure this <i>really is</i> what you want to sign up for in an RP partner.</b></font> Make sure you read and understand these points well if you're thinking about trying to set up something long term with me.

I'm being open and honest about what you can expect from me as a long-term RP partner, and this <i>will not</i> change magically overnight. So if any of this doesn't sound acceptable to you, then we will likely not be compatible. Likewise, if anything covered here becomes an issue during our time RPing together anyway (i.e. if someone starts trying to pressure or guilt trip me into daily RP when I clearly state that I am unable to do this), then I very well might excuse myself immediately from the partnership.</font></div>

My schedule is very busy. Chances are very high that I won't be able to RP with you individually more than a 1-3 times a week.</font></div>

:<div align=justify><font style="color: #000; letter-spacing: 0em;">■ <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>My schedule also means that I generally can't offer you spontaneous RP at the drop of a hat.</b></font> <i>Sometimes</i> it works out that I can, but it's generally an exception to the rule. The best way to make sure we have the opportunity to RP regularly is to <i>plan ahead</i> for it, at least a day in advance. That gives me time to adjust my schedule and make time for you best.</font></div>

:<div align=justify><font style="color: #000; letter-spacing: 0em;">■ <font style="color: #c32f2f;"><b>There are multiple people that I roleplay with.</b></font> If you are easily made jealous OOCly by the prospect of me RPing with someone else or having to politely decline your offer for RP sometimes because I have promised someone else RP, then I am <i>not</i> the partner for you.</font></div>

But I <i>don't</i> want to know all your drama, dirty laundry, or sordid history with this person. And <i>absolutely</i> do not try to police who I choose to RP with, please.</font></div>
