Katherine was eighteen when Dalamud unleashed the primal Bahamut and The Calamity reshaped the world. Katherine's family was nobility before the Battle of Carteneau and survived afterwards with little damage done to their house or family. Katherine wasn't really affected by the Calamity and it didn't affect her life in any major way.

===Appearance===

A Highlander, she is short (Five fulms, five ilms), young (Twenty-Three), and tan from the suns of Thanalan along with bright blue eyes and dark short hair. Katherine tends to wear light makeup and simple garments, not caring for the exorbitantly expensive clothes other nobles wear but she still indulges from time to time to buy jewelry.

===Behavior===

Tending to be shy and nervous around others, Katherine doesn't often initiate conversation with anyone but once she is actually talking it may be hard to shut her up. She has few friends, but the ones she makes she chats their ears off. She can be flirtatious with people she is close to but usually only for fun and not in seriousness although the people she has a real interest in will know the difference when she is actually flirting. She can be considered straight-forward and ignorant to most situations due to her sheltered upbringing but she always enjoys listening to tales of adventure and war.
When she is happy she'll usually avoid swearing and try to talk as eloquently as possible but when she is upset or angry she may abandon her noble upbringing and swear as well as use more slang words.
She often shows more affection towards Miqo'te than any other race due to their similarities with her beloved coeurls and she'll often try and pet Miqo'te.

Lord Tarion Vokare and Mistress Gharhi Vokare are Katherine's parents, and Alexandyr Vokare of the Brass Blades is her brother although she spent most of her time with servants growing up and now-a-days prefers to be alone as she walks around Ul'dah. Katherine does not hate or like her brother, but they don't often get to talk together. The Vokare family became nobility due to decades of Lord Tarion's parents both serving in the Sultansworn, him being a retired member of the Sultansworn as well as his mistresses both starting successful businesses. Mistress Amily is a semi-successful merchant operating out of Horizon where her son, Katherine's half-brother Alexandyr, is also stationed as a Brass Blade. Whereas Mistress Gharfi is a chef for several other noble families. Tarion himself is technically retired and no longer apart of the Sultansworn but he has several connections with nobles that contribute to the success of his mistresses and Alexandyr's acceptance to the Brass Blades.
Katherine has always wanted to start a family of her own, with a partner and children, but is often too shy to talk to people let alone start a relationship or marriage. She also hates arranged marriages so her father's many attempts to pair her with other nobles always fails despite her wishes to have a family.

===Ages 0-3===
A newborn Katherine was extremely quiet for a baby but required constant attention as she became a toddler because she was prone to making a mess with anything she could get her hands on. Her father did not want a daughter and started to focus more on training his son Alexandyr to become a warrior.

===Ages 4-9===
Young and playful, Katherine liked to be alone and play with coeurls and read books about foreign lands at this age. She became infatuated with the idea of exotic animals and people from around the continent and the other City-States. She also enjoyed playing with other kids and being around her friends, but she clamored after her father's attention which she never got. It was during this time she looked to her mother for the majority of her upbringing.

===Ages 10-15===
At the age of ten, Katherine started being trained on becoming a proper noblewoman of Ul'dah. She would begin what would be ten years of upbringing into the nobility. In her free time she would walk around Ul'dah watching the merchants, travelers and soldiers or playing with the coeurls her family got for her. Although she didn't enjoy the classes with her mother or dinners with other noble families she liked the lifestyle and didn't know anything else. This is led to an ignorance about the dire needs of most of the Ul'dahn people. At age fifteen, her father started to try and hook her up with young men to marry her off. She also started to take up the bow at fifteen, learning to shoot from her brother.

===Ages 16-20===
At seventeen, Katherine experienced her first date with a young man arranged by her father. Although Katherine loathed her father and the guy she was with, she bared with it until she was nineteen. The noble she was with proposed and that goaded her into dumping him, taking the pair of earrings he proposed with, with her. This experience left her quiet and usually distant from the other nobles, leaving her in a purgatory-like state of existence where she didn't fit in with the nobility nor the commoners. At the age of eighteen, the Calamity struck Ul'dah and the rest of Eorzea. It didn't affect her personality or home much and she didn't really notice any changes besides more poor people around town.

Although she is distant, not only from strangers, but from her own family, she enjoys being around people. Usually she just sits or stands nearby and listens and doesn't participate in the actual conversation. She spends more time than ever training with a bow and katars now in her spare time and has many suitors she always turns down.

===General===

E'tkay is a bit of a hard ass, but he has a soft spot for his sister. He considers himself not only a bodyguard of the Vokare family, but of his little sister and anyone that messes with her has to deal with him after.

===Appearance===

He is a Seeker of the Sun with heavily tanned skin and standing at a tall six fulms and one ilm. His hair and fur color is black with naturally blue streaks in it which his little sister Valemi often copies. His tail fluffy and long and his eyes are a light sky blue color that remind people of oceans. When he isn't wearing armor he is typically wearing clothes of the Ul'dahn lower class.

===Behavior===

Always a morally challenged man, E'tkay usually has shifting views on what he thinks as criminal behavior but one thing he doesn't tolerate is killing. He can be a bit direct when talking to people and usually tells what is on his mind.

==History/Timeline==

===Ages 0-15===
Orphaned in Gridania when E'tkay was Thirteen and his sister was just Two, he took it upon himself to keep them fed. Luckily for them, an Elezen traveling merchant from Limsa Lominsa took them as his own children and took them with him as he traveled across the land.

===Ages 16-25===
E'tkay and Valemi were raised happily for six years, learning to become a merchant from his father until he was Nineteen when his adopted father fell ill and died when they were visiting Ul'dah. Taking it upon himself once again to keep Valemi safe and healthy, they turned to petty criminal acts such as stealing food and clothing. He watched as his little sister became a street urchin, do menial physical labor and pick up bad habits. When he was Twenty-Five and she was Fourteen though, E'tkay tried robbing a noble which backfired. E'tkay was physically harmed by the nobles bodyguard almost to the point of death and when Valemi stepped in, E'tkay disarmed the bodyguard. The nobleman, Lord Tarion, impressed with E'tkay and saddened by the state of Ul'dah offered them both jobs as servants. Quickly accepting, this is how they became servants of House Vokare.

===Ages 26-30===
Luckily, just as Valemi and E'tkay were given jobs and shelter in the Vokare Estate, the Calamity struck Eorzea, causing the violence in the streets to become even more dangerous than it was before. Loyal to a fault, E'tkay thanks the Vokares for everything, including saving his little sister whom he adores. He spends most of his time these days working in the Estate or guarding the Vokares when they are out.

Valemi was fifteen when the Calamity destroyed parts of Eorzea, but luckily she was already a servant for House Vokare and therefore didn't have to survive the increase of crime on the streets.

===Appearance===

She is a Seeker of the Sun with heavily tanned skin and standing at five fulms and six ilms. Her short hair and fur color is black with blue highlights that she dyed in so she could look more like her older brother. Her tail is as long as her legs and her eyes are the color of Thanalon's deserts. She wears the clothes of a servant when at work but likes to wear skirts and small shirts when out.

She has always been an adventurous soul, willing to try anything at least once and has an addictive personality. She is never afraid to listen to other peoples conversations and start giving her opinion whether asked for or not. She is always cheerful and overly excitable, laughing more often than not. ===Ages 0-5===
As a child, Valemi and her brother E'tkay were orphaned and raised by a traveling merchant who never told them their origins. But a young Valemi was a handful and often tried to snatch things. She was only four when she first stole, taking a ring off of another merchant's stall.

===Ages 6-10===
Valemi started her childhood years relatively happy and healthy with a good family life, visiting Gridania, Limsa Lominsa and Ul'dah until she was eight. At this age, her adopted father fell ill and died, leaving her and her brother E'tkay homeless on the streets of Ul'dah, forcing E'tkay to take over as her protector and the beginning of their life as thieves.

===Ages 11-15===
Becoming street thieves and common criminals, Valemi and her brother stole everyday just to stay alive, Valemi taking up dangerous activities like taking somnus and physical abuse of her targets. When Valemi was fourteen though, E'tkay met Lord Tarion and his children, Lady Katherine and Lord Alexandyr while his pickpocketing went wrong. He was caught and punished publicly by Lord Tarion's bodyguard, nearly beat to death. Valemi stepped in and attacked the bodyguard, giving E'tkay time to disarm the man. Lord Tarion was impressed with them and hired them to be servants. Valemi was sent to the kitchen to learn to be a maid and cook, while E'tkay was given medical treatment and later trained to be a guard. They both escaped the rise of criminal activities after the Calamity struck.

===Ages 16-19===
Although she was no longer a street urchin, Valemi kept up unsavory acts such as thievery and illegal substance abuse. She serves the Vokare family, but does not like them, unlike her brother who is loyal. Often, she'll go out and drink or use when not working and often has arguments with her brother and other servants. Valemi has a problem with getting involved with people that talk down to her and sometimes physically harm her but E'tkay usually finds out and deals with them.

===Age 20 (Current)===
Valemi has been a servant for House Vokare for six years now, and she is ready to leave but does not wish to leave her brother. She bears with it until she can find a way out of being a worker for any nobility, whom she despises. The only member of the Vokare family she likes is Lady Katherine although the two never interact beyond when she is working, but Katherine never demeans her.

Katherine was three when Dalamud was unleashed and The Calamity reshaped the world. Katherine's family was nobility before the Battle of Carteneau and survived afterwards with little damage done to their house or family. Katherine doesn't really remember the Calamity and it didn't affect her life in any major way.

===Appearance===

A Highlander, she is short (Five fulms, five ilms), young (Twenty-Three), and tan from the suns of Thanalan along with bright blue eyes and dark short hair. Katherine tends to wear light makeup and simple garments, not caring for the exorbitantly expensive clothes other nobles wear but she still indulges from time to time to buy jewelry.

===Behavior===

Tending to be shy and nervous around others, Katherine doesn't often initiate conversation with anyone but once she is actually talking it may be hard to shut her up. She has few friends, but the ones she makes she chats their ears off. She can be flirtatious with people she is close to but usually only for fun and not in seriousness although the people she has a real interest in will know the difference when she is actually flirting. She can be considered straight-forward and ignorant to most situations due to her sheltered upbringing but she always enjoys listening to tales of adventure and war.
When she is happy she'll usually avoid swearing and try to talk as eloquently as possible but when she is upset or angry she may abandon her noble upbringing and swear as well as use more slang words.
She often shows more affection towards Miqo'te than any other race due to their similarities with her beloved coeurls and she'll often try and pet Miqo'te.

===Ages 0-3===
A newborn Katherine was extremely quiet for a baby but required constant attention as she became a toddler because she was prone to making a mess with anything she could get her hands on. At the age of three, the Calamity struck Ul'dah and the rest of Eorzea. It didn't affect her personality or home much, but it affected her directly because this is when her father started to grow distant from her. He focused more on his son and training him to become a valuable soldier.

===Ages 4-9===
Young and playful, Katherine liked to be alone and play with coeurls and read books about foreign lands at this age. She became infatuated with the idea of exotic animals and people from around the continent and the other City-States. She also enjoyed playing with other kids and being around her friends, but she clamored after her father's attention which she never got. It was during this time she looked to her mother for the majority of her upbringing.

===Ages 10-15===
At the age of ten, Katherine started being trained on becoming a proper noblewoman of Ul'dah. She would begin what would be ten years of upbringing into the nobility. In her free time she would walk around Ul'dah watching the merchants, travelers and soldiers or playing with the coeurls her family got for her. Although she didn't enjoy the classes with her mother or dinners with other noble families she liked the lifestyle and didn't know anything else. This is led to an ignorance about the dire needs of most of the Ul'dahn people. At age fifteen, her father started to try and hook her up with young men to marry her off. She also started to take up the bow at fifteen, learning to shoot from her brother.

===Ages 16-20===
At seventeen, Katherine experienced her first date with a young man arranged by her father. Although Katherine loathed her father and the guy she was with, she bared with it until she was nineteen. The noble she was with proposed and that goaded her into dumping him, taking the pair of earrings he proposed with, with her. This experience left her quiet and usually distant from the other nobles, leaving her in a purgatory-like state of existence where she didn't fit in with the nobility nor the commoners.

===Ages 21-23 (Current)===
Although she is distant, not only from strangers, but from her own family, she enjoys being around people. Usually she just sits or stands nearby and listens and doesn't participate in the actual conversation. She spends more time than ever training with a bow and katars now in her spare time and has many suitors she always turns down.
