Character-stub
Aria Benett is a female Midlander born and raised in Gridania; though her father died before she was born, his status as a wealthy businessman gave her and her mother a comfortable life, and gave Aria a substantial wealth when her mother passed away during the Calamity. She is a highly compotent Conjurer, a small-time business woman, and a pursuer of knowledge, hoping to one day use it to better mankind to it's full potential, in any way possible.

History
Physical Appearance
Despite being 20 years of age, Aria maintains a youthful and cheerful appearance, often complimented by her natural appearing cosmetics. She is a petite girl, standing at a mere 5 fulms 2 ilms, and weighs just over 100 ponze (for this is considered top secret information). Her skin is a gentle, fair complexion with no blemishes or scars; she possesses few curves, though the most prominent occurring around her hips and bottom, and possesses a small, humble chest. The girl also possesses a pair of light blue eyes, and short blonde hair, which she often keeps under a headband and bandana.

Aria has a variety of different clothes, some humble and plain, with others being more extravagant and colorful, often saved for more formal occasions, or simply when she isn't overcome with chores or duties. Her most common outfit consists of a Felt Bliaud with matching Gaskins and shoes, all mostly dyed a lovely Lotus Pink. Alternatively, she may be seen wearing a similar black Bliaud, accompanied with a pair of stockings and white dress shoes, and sports a decorative, feathered hat to complete the set. For more work-related duties, namely when weaving or tending to the injured, she opts to wear a simple beige piece consisting of a vest, a crafter's belt to carry equipment, a short skirt, and leggings. Aria sports no piercings or tattoos, though often accessorizes with bangles or bracelets, very subtle eye-shadows and blush, and sports a bandana of a complimenting or matching color to almost any outfit she chooses.

Personality
The few people who know Aria all regard her as a gentle, kind soul who only wishes to help and better those around her, and protect those who would find themselves in harm's way. She generally carries a stern yet light voice and rarely finds herself interacting with large groups, but she still chimes in should she feel her opinion be important enough. She always carries a very formal and lady-like posture, a result of her upbringing by a very refined woman; when it comes to her choice of words, it is often speculated she comes from a noble background.

With that being said, Aria can also be quite motherly despite her young age, and even younger physical appearance of around 18 years; she is quick to scold others for their wrong or even illegal actions, and can be pushed into giving punishment if angered enough, though this is often the last resort. With it comes to physical contact, Aria is mostly uncomfortable; she is not used to physical touch, but as her time outside of Gridania grows, so does her readiness for it - it is because of this seemingly cold exterior that Aria can be misinterpreted as uninterested in others.

Another side to Aria is that she is very easily embarrassed when it comes to more intimate or spicier topics; unfamiliar with the concepts of both courtship and mateship, Aria is unsure how to act both in and around people in a relationship - she often acts stiff and frozen, mostly watching others to learn. When asked embarrassing questions, the Padjal often resorts to blushing and avoiding straight answers.

Skills & Abilities
Conjury & White Magic
Even at a young age, Aria showed a great level of skill; by the time she was 14, Aria was capable of casting high level Conjury spells without a great deal of fatigue as consequence, and was more than capable of attuning herself to the elements around her to unleash devastating elemental attacks such as Stone, Aero, and Water, as well as their higher level variants. As a bonus to her healing abilities, Aria is also highly adept at identifying the cause of various injuries almost immediately, and can even identify internal bleeding without much problem, even under stressful circumstances. Though often used as a last resort, Aria is capable of harnessing her own life energies to heal the ill and heavily injured, producing extremely potent spells at the cost of her own health.

As a Hearer, a person who has the ability to hear the Elementals of the Twelveswood, Aria has the ability to communicate and understand their feelings regarding anything she wishes to ask or know about - this is what gives her the title of Hearer. She can use this ability to seek permission from the Elementals for anyone who wishes it of her.

Crafting
As a hobby during her time at the Stillglade Fane, Aria took up both Alchemy and Weaving when she wasn't studying Conjury. Whenever she is not engrossed in other duties with the Free Company, Aria often weaves her own clothes or for others, and maintains a full stock of simple healing potions and salves should a healer not be present. In her spare time, Aria runs a small clothes shop in Mist, mostly dealing in swimwear and bikinis.

Other Skills
Aria has spent a great deal of time studying a variety of different cultures and societies during her time in Gridania, but has little knowledge of the more major societies in Eorzea, such as the Ala Mhigans, the Ul'dahns and the Lominsans. Despite that, she is a quick learner, and had taken great interest in Ala Mhigo due to her former boyfriend, Dural Shieldsplitter, a Highlander from Ala Mhigo. Her main specialty when it comes knowledge, however, is Primals. Aria possesses a great deal of knowledge about Primals, their abilities and respective beast tribes, and other trivial knowledge, her expertise lying with the Primals of the Twelveswood and Coerthas; Garuda, Ramuh and Odin. As a side note, Aria enjoys interacting with, and studying, the Sylphs of Little Solace.

Rumours & Quotes
Common Rumours
* "Always well-spoken and polite, that one. She must have been raised quite well, I'd wager."
* "She looks awfully young, don't you think? She speaks like a woman well beyond her years, and her face comes no where near her true age. She must be a lucky one."
* "You wouldn't think it looking at her, but she's actually a very talented Conjurer. She's as humble as they come, mind."
* "Supposedly the girl's with a Highlander. Ala Mhigan. Not very similar, but...opposites attract, right?"

Uncommon/Rare Rumours
* "You ever noticed she never takes that bandana of hers off? An' when she does, shes' got a bloody hat on. I don't know, just seems odd to me."
* "Call me suspicious, but that girl's got a lot of knowledge for someone her age; she's a great Conjurer, she's got all the grace and charisma...sort of. And she's a bookworm. I've got the feeling she knows a lot more than she's letting on."
* "She's pretty friendly, don't be gettin' me wrong, but...she ain't one fer talkin' all that much, an' 'alf the time she's in a whole different world in that head of 'ers. Am thinkin' she's got something rackin' her brain."

Trivia
* Aria's idol is A-Towa-Cant, the legendary White Mage who became the first Padjal to leave the Twelveswood to heal and aid the people of the world outside his home.

* Aria has a Unicorn whom she mostly leaves in the Twelveswood, and keeps a pet Mandragora at her Free Company's estate in Mist.

* Aria's favorite food is either Noodles or Fried Orobon, but she also possesses a sweet tooth. She does not drink alcohol, and has only done so once, though it was only one glass of wine.

* Aria's favorite color is purple, though she feels she cannot pull it off; because of that, she wears her second favorite color, pink.

* Aria has an extreme dislike toward any form of illegal or forbidden magic, the most obvious point given being Black Magic. as a Lawfully Good person, Aria would often take it upon herself to apprehend anyone who studied the craft, or any forbidden magic she is aware of.

* Aria Benett's name comes from the character of the same name in Final Fantasy III; she was a Priestess of the Water Crystal who aided the party as a guest, casting White Magic randomly for support. She died defending the party from Kraken.

Drysdyn "Drys" Ubyltusyn is a Sea Wolf Roegadyn born and raised in Limsa Lominsa, and currently works as both a Drill Instructor within the Maelstrom Grand Company, and as a Bodyguard for hire, mostly providing free service for his family's trasportation and courier service. In his spare time, he volunteers his services, in exchange for payment, with the Harbingers of Dawn, and is officially recognized as a member of the Martial Branch.

History
Born to a pair of former Roegadyn pirates in Limsa Lominsa, Drys was the first of seven children, all of which were boys. As the oldest brother, it was often his responsibility to look after his siblings when his parents were busy with work, something they often did so that they could feed their own children well enough. Drys rarely communicated with anyone outside of his own family, but when he did, he was either confrontational, or intimidating due to his naturally large size, even by Roegadyn standards. As he grew older, Drys became a more relaxed and mellow individual, though was still known for being frightening when angry.

Drys joined Limsa's Grand Company, the Maelstrom, as soon as he turned 18; with his parents lacking in any formidable combat skills, Drys quickly became the most talented fighter amongst his family, and took on the mantle of their protector whenever he was not on duty at Maelstrom Command. At some point afterwards, Drys' father began a courier and delivery company, working both over land and sea - whenever he was not working with the Grand Company, Drys acted as his father's bodyguard, protecting the deliveries whilst maintaining a close relationship with his own family. As the years went by, the Roegadyn's natural skill as a warrior became more and more recognized, gradually building him up the ranks, until he was assigned the rank of Drill Instructor.

Despite wishing to participate in the Battle of Carteneau, he was refused by his superiors within the Maelstrom; his duty was to remain in Limsa Lominsa, not only to train the new recruits, but also to act as a last resort defense for the port-city. Though he lost many a friend during that battle, Drys remained detached from the emotional devastation it brought. For the years after, Drys maintained his position in the Maelstrom, training new recruits and aiding his own family in his free time, though has lately focused his time more on freelance work as a sellsword, or general bodyguard for hire.
Aria Benett (real name Ramu-A-Sara) is a White Mage born in Gridania. Currently in hiding after having fled from Gridania, she has taken up the name given to her at birth, and has chosen to assume the persona of a simple Conjurer learning of the world outside her home. She is a member of the Support Branch in the Harbingers of Dawn, a Free Company who's estate lies in Mist, Ward 3.

History
Born to a single Midlander mother who's husband died of illness shortly after her conception, Aria started life relatively quietly; while her mother assisted in duties as a Conjurer at the Stillglade Fane, Aria would often play with her cousins. By the time she was around 5 years old, a strange manifestation occured, where horns sprouted from her head; shortly after, she was confirmed to have been blessed by the Elementals, and had become a Padjal. From that moment, Aria was taken away from her life as a normal little girl, and was given a new name to commemorate the beginning of her new life, Ramu-A-Sara.

Under normal circumstances, once a Padjal had been taken to the Stillglade Fane, they would be unable to maintain contact with their former family. Aria was the special exception, having managed to see her mother on a regular basis during her lectures and studies; she built a strong relationship with her mother despite their limited time together, but it was always the relationship that Aria treasured more than anything, the only person she ever felt love for. Regardless, Aria was a natural at her studies, and became a highly competent Conjurer by the time she was 14 years old. It was at that point that the Order of the White, a group of Padjal White Mages, decided to induct her into the group, and began her studies of the next level - the study of the Forbidden school of White Magic. Aria saw little of her mother since the beginning of her new training, something she regretting greatly when she died in the Battle of Carteneau only one year later. Though overcome with grief, she was eventually able to move on, seeing her mother's bravery and sacrifice as something to be honored, and as a goal for her to match in the future.

Aria's training become considerably more difficult as time carried on, though with her natural ability, she was easily considered to be a truly gifted White Mage, standing below the Elder Seedseers and few of the Order of the White by the time her training was complete. However, as the final initiation loomed closer, Aria began to doubt her role as a Padjal, and as a White Mage; as it was likely her future may bring onto her more and more responsibility and restriction, she began to panic, and with that, self doubt. Aria felt as though she lacked the traits necessary to become a leader, fearing her cowardice would only prove to be a hindrance to Gridania and the Twelveswood as a whole.

On the night of her initiation, Aria was able to sneak away from her guards, and under the disguise of a commoner, she was able to teleport herself a short distance away from the capital and into Bentbranch Meadows to the South; from there, she was able to avoid being recognized, and boarded a carriage to escape the Shroud. Little is known of her journey since, though eventually she was found alone and helpless in La Noscea by the Ishgardian Dragoon Raku Keville, who had taken her back to Mist for recuperation; as a way of gratitude, Aria joined the Harbingers of Dawn, his Free Company, as both repayment, and as a way to forge a new identity for herself.

Physical Appearance
Befitting as a member of the Padjal race, Aria possesses a very youthful appearance, often perceived as a mid-teen, around 15 or 16 years of age, on first glance alone. She is a petite girl, standing at a mere 5 fulms 2 ilms, and weighs just over 100 ponze (for this is considered top secret information). Her skin is a gentle, fair complexion with no blemishes or scars, and possesses a relatively shapeless form due to an incomplete physical maturity, a trait shared by all Padjal; she possesses few curves, though the most prominent occurring around her hips and bottom, and possesses a small, humble chest. The girl also possesses a pair of light blue eyes, and short blonde hair, which she often keeps under a headband and bandana; poking from her head is a set of horns, a dirty ivory color which have been purposely cut and filed down to make concealing them possible.

She generally carries a quiet voice and rarely finds herself interacting with large groups, but she still chimes in should she feel her opinion be important enough. She always carries a very formal and lady-like posture, a result of her etiquette training as a Padjal, who are naturally chosen to become leaders within the Gridanian council; when it comes to her choice of words, it is often speculated she comes from a noble background, though most of her clothing contradicts it. She is a modest soul who often brushes aside compliments, though is often as polite as possible, and easily praises others for their own accomplishments.

With that being said, Aria can also be quite motherly despite her young age, and even younger physical appearance of around 15 years; she is quick to scold others for their wrong or even illegal actions, and can be pushed into giving punishment if angered enough, though this is often the last resort. With it comes to physical contact, Aria is mostly uncomfortable; she is not used to physical touch, but as her time outside of Gridania grows, so does her readiness for it.

Even at a young age, Aria showed a great level of skill; by the time she was 14, Aria was capable of casting high level Conjury spells without a great deal of fatigue as consequence, and was more than capable of attuning herself to the elements around her to unleash devastating elemental attacks such as Stone, Aero, Water, and even the legendary Holy.

As a trained White Mage, Aria possessed knowledge over a school of magic forbidden to all but the Padjal; as a White Mage, she can cast very effective healing spells on a whim, produce healing over time effects on anyone she chooses, and can even bring someone from the brink of death with a single spell, with a great amount of fatigue afterward. Other skills of the White Mage include being able to commune and understand the Elementals of the Twelveswood, allowing her to soothe angered or tainted elements, and even making her a canditate for the Quietening, should it ever be needed prematurely.

Despite that, she is a quick learner, and has taken great interest in Ala Mhigo due to her current partner, Dural Shieldsplitter, a Highlander from Ala Mhigo.

Trivia
* Despite being 20 years of age, Aria possesses the body of a 15 year old girl; this is because all Padjal stop aging in their early to mid-teens.

* Aria always wears either a hood, a bandana, or a hat whenever possible, to maintain her disguise as a Hyur by hiding her horns. Shortly before leaving Gridania, Aria filed and cut her own horns to a tiny size, making it possible.

Even at a young age, Aria showed a great level of skill; by the time she was 14, Aria was capable of casting high level Conjury spells without a great deal of fatigue as consequence, and was more than capable of attuning herself to the elements around her to unleash devastating elemental attacks such as Stone, Aero, Water, and even the legendary Holy.

Despite that, she is a quick learner, and has taken great interest in Ala Mhigo due to her current partner, Dural Shieldsplitter, a Highlander from Ala Mhigo.

* "She's pretty friendly, don't be gettin' me wrong, but...she ain't one fer talkin' all that much, an' 'alf the time she's in a whole different world in that head of 'ers. Am thinkin' she's got something rackin' her brain."

* Aria's favorite color is purple, though she feels she cannot pull it off; because of that, she wears her second favorite color, pink.

* Aria Benett's name comes from the character of the same name in Final Fantasy III; she was a Priestess of the Water Crystal who aided the party as a guest, casting White Magic randomly for support. She died defending the party from Kraken.

Personality
The few people who know Aria all regard her as a gentle, kind soul who only wishes to help and better those around her, and protect those who would find themselves in harm's way.

Even at a young age, Aria showed a great level of skill; by the time she was 14, Aria was capable of casting high level Conjury spells without a great deal of fatigue as consequence, and was more than capable of attuning herself to the elements around her to unleash devastating elemental attacks such as Stone, Aero, Water, and even the legendary Holy.

Despite that, she is a quick learner, and has taken great interest in Ala Mhigo due to her current partner, Dural Shieldsplitter, a Highlander from Ala Mhigo.

* Aria Benett's name comes from the character of the same name in Final Fantasy III; she was a Priestess of the Water Crystal who aided the party as a guest, casting White Magic randomly for support. She died defending the party from Kraken.

The few people who know Aria all regard her as a gentle, kind soul who only wishes to help and better those around her, and protect those who would find themselves in harm's way.

Even at a young age, Aria showed a great level of skill; by the time she was 14, Aria was capable of casting high level Conjury spells without a great deal of fatigue as consequence, and was more than capable of attuning herself to the elements around her to unleash devastating elemental attacks such as Stone, Aero, Water, and even the legendary Holy.

Despite that, she is a quick learner, and has taken great interest in Ala Mhigo due to her current partner, Dural Shieldsplitter, a Highlander from Ala Mhigo.

* Aria Benett's name comes from the character of the same name in Final Fantasy III; she was a Priestess of the Water Crystal who aided the party as a guest, casting White Magic randomly for support. She died defending the party from Kraken.

Aria Benett (real name Ramu-A-Sara) is a White Mage born in Gridania. Though currently in hiding, she takes up the name given to her at birth, taking on the persona of a simple Conjurer.

Character-stub
Aria Benett (real name Ramu-A-Sara) is a White Mage born in Gridania. Though currently in hiding, she takes up the name given to her at birth, taking on the persona of a simple Conjurer.

Personality
The few people who know Aria all regard her as a gentle, kind soul who only wishes to help and better those around her, and protect those who would find themselves in harm's way.

Even at a young age, Aria showed a great level of skill; by the time she was 14, Aria was capable of casting high level Conjury spells without a great deal of fatigue as consequence, and was more than capable of attuning herself to the elements around her to unleash devastating elemental attacks such as Stone, Aero, Water, and even the legendary Holy.

Despite that, she is a quick learner, and has taken great interest in Ala Mhigo due to her current partner, Dural Shieldsplitter, a Highlander from Ala Mhigo.

Personality
The few people who know Aria all regard her as a gentle, kind soul who only wishes to help and better those around her, and protect those who would find themselves in harm's way.

Even at a young age, Aria showed a great level of skill; by the time she was 14, Aria was capable of casting high level Conjury spells without a great deal of fatigue as consequence, and was more than capable of attuning herself to the elements around her to unleash devastating elemental attacks such as Stone, Aero, Water, and even the legendary Holy.

Despite that, she is a quick learner, and has taken great interest in Ala Mhigo due to her current partner, Dural Shieldsplitter, a Highlander from Ala Mhigo.

Character-stub

History
L'ashalia Bhen, daughter of Bhen Nunh, and member of the Viper tribe of the Seeker Miqo'te, was born approximately 13 years before the Calamity of Eorzea, though her exact place of birth remains unknown to her, though she theorizes she isn't a native to Eorzea itself. At 3 years old, L'ashalia was taken away from her tribe by her own mother who, unbeknownst to her, had killed the very Nunh that sired her daughter. For the coming years, L'ashalia and her mother constantly traveled, never remaining in a single spot for very long. L'ashalia never understood why her mother insisted they constantly travel, but she was constantly told that she had little choice in the matter; regardless of her mother's bossy nature, L'ashalia loved her dearly.

L'ashalia's mother died of illness when she was only 10 years old. Considering she had no home to call her own, nor any other family she knew of, the girl decided to continue the lifestyle she had been living; she remembered very little, if anything, of her home, and due to her mother's disapproval and distaste for the tribal lifestyle of the Miqo'te, L'ashalia made no effort to seek out the Viper Tribe. For the coming years, L'ashalia was forced to learn how to survive on her own, but with no gil, living was difficult - to deal with this, she often worked small jobs whenever she found a settlement, often trading her work for gil, food, shelter, or any sort of valuable tutelage.

Five years after the Calamity, L'ashalia began to yearn for a more stable, sensible lifestyle than simply trailing from place to place for no particular reason; knowing of no place she had previously visited she could call home, the Miqo'te opted to try a new place; Eorzea.

Personality
Prior to coming to Eorzea, L'ashlia never considered anyone she had met to be anything close to a friend; it's because of this that she has high expectations for anyone that would want to claim the title for themselves; she's generally a hard to please, hard to impress kind of girl. Because of this, she generally comes off as having a very guarded, defensive, and even cold exterior; having already lost the most important person in her life, it is possible that she has high expectations of potential friends because she doesn't want to suffer the pain again - although she would never admit it, she is more than aware of this, and despite her quirks, she tries her best to interact with others, socialize, and try to build actual relationships.

L'ashalia is a very emotional and opinionated person; she has the potential to care very deeply for others, should she ever be swayed to let them in, even to the point where she would do almost anything for them. Perhaps out of loneliness or desperation, L'ashalia yearns for someone to be close to and confide into, despite her natural instincts being completely contradictory.

She does have a more playful side to her, however. L'ashalia takes great pleasure in teasing and tormenting others for the sake of fun, but often she comes across more offensive or intimidating to some people; additionally, some people perceive L'ashalia to be a violent person due to her habit of threatening or actually hitting people if they were able of getting on her nerves (which is normally an easy feat to accomplish considering her short fuse; however, her strikes in this situation are generally more of the playful variety, and rarely go beyond a dead-arm or leg.) - on the other hand, L'ashalia dislikes being at the receiving end of torment, and will usually respond with childish retorts and stutters. The same can be said about men; having never been courted or shown interest by a man, she is highly uncomfortable with being on the receiving end of flirting, if she's aware that the conversation is actually flirting - generally, this effect is more significant if L'ashalia is physically attracted to the man in question.

Skills & Abilities
Hand-to-Hand Combat
L'ashalia has never received any sort of formal training from an official in a particular Guild, but she has received training in several different skills during her travels, mostly so she would be able to defend and care for herself. During the early years of her travels without her mother, L'ashalia learned to fight in order to defend herself from both monsters, beasts, and bandits who would threaten her in the open roads and plains. Her favored form of fighting is bare-handed; while she is not an official Pugilist, she excels at fighting empty handed, and is capable of fighting an armed assailant with nothing but her fists; as an added perk of being a Miqo'te, the musculature of her legs is above average of other races, giving her kicks a more devastating boost. Despite her skill, however, she is no master of martial combat.

Magic
Initially, L'ashalia showed little interest in learning magic from her mother, but some time after her death, she realized that having another useful skill in her arsenal would prove to be valuable should her other skills prove to be no use. L'ashalia possesses a fundamental understanding of using aether to use magic, but has been reluctant to learn anything beyond basic level healing magic; the limits of her magical prowess includes being able to tend basic wounds, heal lesser ailments, and at her very peak, create very basic magical fields to protect herself - the use of magic is generally fatiguing for her.

Other Skills
For the most part, L'ashalia is good at analyzing people, at least from a strategic point of view - in combat situations, she is fairly skilled at analyzing a monster or person's fighting style and come up with the appropriate countermeasures to minimize any damage or risk. She is also skilled at styling hair, sewing up old clothes to main them wearable, and tormenting people.
