Laira falls under the trope of dandere, especially when in new social environments. She tends to be quiet and humble when meeting new people or groups. However, once she becomes comfortable with a group, her true personality breaks through.

With friends, she behaves in a somewhat child like manner, and tends to be affectionate towards her closest friends.

She also has a violent side to her. It is a side that doesn't oft' show up. This side can best be described as a quiet and controlled bloodthirst of seething rage. This side has thus far only been shown twice: whilst escaping from the slaver, and in retaliation for Rizha's death.
