: Korin is a somewhat bland character to speak of. His skin is a pale, almost unhealthy hue and he has no particularly notable features to speak of. His face is more often than not concealed by a mess of blueish-grey hair - He clearly makes little effort to keep it in check, aside from occasionally tying it back when he feels the need to do so. Should one actually see beneath it, his eyes are a pale orange colour. For the most part, he just looks tired and somewhat grouchy, despite his otherwise polite attitude towards people.
:He is slightly taller than average, and despite the fact that he does try to keep himself in shape it's noticeable that he's a fair bit underweight. His tail is oddly short and fluffy by keeper standards, and should one choose to point this out he's likely to pretend he never heard it.

: Korin is a quiet, shy individual with very little social experience. He's somewhat timid, and reluctant to approach people - Occasionally even the ones he's already acquainted with, out of a constant fear that he probably isn't wanted there. However, when he is approached he often takes it well and appreciates the company - At least it would seem so, and on occasion his politeness can show as being somewhat false. When dealing with larger groups of people he tends to fall silent unless he is spoken to.
:Despite his best efforts to keep people at arm's length, upon joining The Traveller's Guild he started to warm up to people and often finds himself concerned for their wellbeing over his own - A trait that has lingered on, even after the guild's eventual disband.

He tends to think of him as a younger brother, though he would never admit that he's more grateful for his company than it might seem.

Even if that company happens to involve teasing him and invading his personal space.

: <font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Z'shakka Tia]] : An ex-Nunh who Korin stumbled upon by chance. After running into the miqo'te a few times, he decided to help him start a new life and hired him instead - However, due to certain circumstances the pair no longer work together. Their relationship was a little uncomfortable following this, though they appear to be on speaking terms now.

: <font style="color:#9EC60B;" size="3">●</font> [[Momori Nonori]] : A suspected demonspawn of a lalafell who attempts to 'help' Korin with his problems. It doesn't usually end well, but Korin appreciates the effort...Sometimes.

Despite his initial attempts to shrug off anything further than friendship, Octavel's persistence eventually won through and they were considered a couple...Until certain unforeseen circumstances led to the pair parting ways, leaving Korin himself relatively bitter about the subject and leading him to retreat back into his shell, to an extent.

Neyha'li is slightly taller than average, with a skinny but toned frame, build for speed rather than strength. His large yellow eyes and rounded face, as well as the usual bright smile, give him a baby-faced look, despite the scars marring the right side of his face, as well as his jaw. A fluffy mess of dark blue hair frames his features, the colour fading towards black at the tips of his ears and towards lighter blue near his temples. His skin is dark grey in hue.

Ney has also taken a liking to making and wearing jewelry, and is usually clad in colourful clothing, adorned by precious stones and chains made of silver and gold. How he can afford this flamboyant look is a mystery to most.

From the surface Neyha'li seems very friendly and open, eagerly approaching people to sell his wares, or just to chat for a moment or two. His body-language is energetic and animated, as he seems to wear his emotions on his sleeve, changing from happy and laughing into a pout and back in the blink of an eye. He also seem to have an interest towards anything shiny or edible, passionately wanting to see and hold anything that sparkles or glimmers, and taste any food that he hasn't experienced before.

The most observant of people, or those who are used to reading people, might notice the young Keepers friendly behaviour to be slightly 'off', in one way or the other. He doesn't seem to drop this front easily though, and is usually gone before the person gets a chance to try to break his walls.

"Girly" might be the first word to come to mind when looking at this young man. His figure is short and petite with tanned skin, and clad in loose fitting robes. His round face is framed by a short, dark brownish red hair, reaching down to nape of his neck from the back. A pair of large red eyes look around with mild curiosity, or rather badly faked indifference.

Not far from its owner is Otte's Carbuncle, named Neeto. Whether considered a mere familiar or a pet, one cannot tell just by looking. At least publicly Otte doesn't seem to give this creature too much attention.

=== Behavior ===

Despite his childish looks, Otte usually acts calm and mature, specially when performing duties for his guild. Outside his duties he seems less professional, acting slightly more playful and even teasing if the person is someone closer to him. During the last year, due to certain events and himself growing out of his old timidness, his personality has taken a more grouchy turn, coming out as grumpy and blunt for most people.

His lack of experience when it comes to life and people in general might give him an image of someone insensitive, as he seems to look at emotions and interaction from the point of view of an aloof researcher, rather than feeling the need to experience anything first hand himself, at times deeming some things "useless" and "odd" when normal people would consider them important. Because of this he often has problems handling his own emotions and new experiences, and usually reacts to them excessively and in a confused manner, like a child instead of an adult he considers himself to be.

== Combat ==

Being more experienced with magical arts rather than close-combat, Otte prefers to keep his distance from the center of the battle. Instead he trusts his Carbuncle, affectionately named Neeto, to keep his enemies at bay so he can focus of weakening them with his magic. Lately he has also decided to continue his training in Archery, though spending years without much physical training has made this harder than he thought it would be.

Otte's family lives in a tribe that travels around Thanalan. Despite living on his own in Limsa his family is often mentioned, especially his younger brother that always seems to be the main source of Otte's frustration.

Despite Otte preferring books and writing over socializing, his curiosity has garnered him a group of acquaintances. He has also slowly gathered a group of people he considers friends, trying his best to open up to them more.

[[Korin Relanah]] - A Keeper Otte first "appointed" as his assistant, though the two soon became friends. Now Korin seems to be the first to talk to when Otte is having worries, and usually helps the awkward Seeker to find a solution to his problems.

[[W'rexen Tia]] - A man Otte has helped by sharing his research notes, and who he considers amusing and "worth observing closely".

[[Octavel Loreaux]] - An Elezen that has made Otte to open himself more to people, though at times his way of pushing the truth out of Otte has caused some frustration. Due to certain things Otte has taken some distance from the elezen though, their relationship being a little awkward from the miqo'te's side.

[[S'meoh Keeneye]] - A young Miqo'te Otte met through Octavel and Korin, and who slowly became one of Otte's friends, despite his childish personality.

[[Mal Sionis]] - Despite being the person Otte has known for the shortest time, this Miqo'te quickly found his way into the Arcanist's heart by being very open and obvious about his feelings, and so the two started dating.

[[Z'shakka Tia]] - An ex-nunh Otte decided to help after the former moved to Limsa with his children. Unfortunately the older Miqo'te didn't take kindly to Otte's pushy way of giving advice, and so the two aren't on the best of terms.
