==Physical Description==
Looking over the thin, 5'6" Vieran woman, it would be easy to discover the obvious anomolies that set her apart from other Viera. For starters, Aessa is as pale as a ghost with her porcelain-tinted complexion. If that wasn't enough, her hair and ears are dyed black with violet highlights. Her make up is a perfect contrast with her skin, giving her eyes a smokey, black shadow to them and her pouty lips a jet-black glimmer.

==History==
Aessa was one of three triplets, but she had lost her family when she was just a child, and miraculously survived all the way to Higanshi. Starving, it was only a matter of time before she took to the streets as an urchin and stealing to survive.

Only, living in poor conditions didn't appeal to her. Instead, she would live in high society. So, donning the garb of a servant, Aessa posed as a child-maid by day to hide, and by night she slept in mansions, robbed people of their valuables, and ate like royalty.

It made for a lonely life.

In her time bouncing from house to house, Aessa had stolen an old family heirloom from one of the aristocratic families. When she couldn't fence it, and with the aristocratic family and the guards hunting her down, Aessa, now 20 years old, smuggled herself aboard a ship leaving a nearby port. Luckily, having stowed away in aristocrats' manors for most of her childhood made being a stowaway an easy task. She wouldn't get caught aboard until they ported in Limso Lominsa where she stayed for a week before making the journey to Ul'dah, where she finally learned to use her stolen prize.

==Personality==
Aessa has been obsessed with high society ever since she was a child, though while she definitely has the drive to earn the money to own a mansion, she does not have the social capabilities of most aristocrats. Having hidden away for so many years, she didn't develop any social skills, and the few times she did meet people were when she was being chased down so naturally she's very distrusting of other people.
