Seda'a was found in the Black Shroud by a traveling merchant. Well, to be more specific, actually the merchant happened to be at Hawthorne Hut doing business when Seda'a was discovered. Someone had left the infant Seda'a at the campsite and the merchant had volunteered to take him.

The merchant was a Midlander Hyur named Osmont. He was originally from Ishgard but had been traveling for some time. Osmont was a very wealthy merchant but had no family of his own. He'd been married once, but his wife had died from a tragic accident.

In his early years Osmont taught Seda'a himself, but shortly after his fifth nameday Osmont enrolled Seda'a into a reputable boarding school to further his education. From age five until he was fifteen Seda'a studied diligently at Helwyn Academy*, a private institution in eastern La Noscea.

Now he is ready to explore the world and learn about things first hand instead of reading about them. His father demands he continue his education but has since returned to Ishgard, communicating with Seda'a by post. Seda'a will honor Osmont's wishes but wants to try to do so in his own way.

Seda'a is kind, jovial and polite. He's normally quite helpful and enjoys scholastic pursuits, but he does have a darker side too. Perhaps not so much "dark" as "angry" though. He struggles with abandonment issues and he has a bad temper but he's trying.

He understands that this is his station in life and it's not been entirely unpleasant. He received elite instruction in various fine arts and grew up wanting for nothing. The Calamity left his former house in ruins, and now he will not speak of them.
He's content to serve a worthy lord or lady to his best ability, although in his deepest heart of hearts he longs for more; something much darker.

Kiba's upbringing has shaped him into a most eager and relentless servant. He will do anything to see his master/mistress' wishes fulfilled, no matter what they be. ===History===
Edmont was born into an extended Midlander family near Silvertear Falls. His father had been killed shortly before his birth and his mother's grief drove her to end her own life when Edmont was just 2 cycles old.
He was raised by his Grandmatron until he was 11. She passed away of old age, leaving Edmont a very large inheritance. His bitter aunts and uncles tried to claim rights to the fortune, so he left. He made his way to Gridania, then took work aboard an airship in the kitchens because he wanted to fly.
Eventually, Edmont ended up in Ul'dah where he's opened his own small bakery on Emerald Avenue named Emerald Baker Shoppe that he hopes will become very popular.

Positive and friendly, Edmont is surprisingly optimistic in spite of recent events. However he does carry a heavy heart, one which he hides with a smile.

===Goals===
Edmont's main focus is making his shoppe a success. He realizes the world is very much trying to recover from the cataclysmic events taking place, and is prepared to do his part in helping Eorzea through this before he can focus on his bakery.

At the end of each day, Edmont takes his unsold baked wares and gives them away for free to orphan children and beggars around Ul'dah.

===History===
Edmont was born into an extended Midlander family near Silvertear Falls. His father had been killed shortly before his birth and his mother's grief drove her to end her own life when Edmont was just 2 cycles old.
He was raised by his Grandmatron until he was 11. She passed away of old age, leaving Edmont a very large inheritance. His bitter aunts and uncles tried to claim rights to the fortune, so he left. He made his way to Gridania, then took work aboard an airship in the kitchens because he wanted to fly.
Eventually, Edmont ended up in Ul'dah where he's opened his own small bakery on Emerald Avenue named Emerald Baker Shoppe that he hopes will become very popular.

===Personality===
Positive and friendly, Edmont is surprisingly optimistic in spite of recent events. However he does carry a heavy heart, one which he hides with a smile.

===Goals===
Edmont's main focus is making his shoppe a success. He realizes the world is very much trying to recover from the cataclysmic events taking place, and is prepared to do his part in helping Eorzea through this before he can focus on his bakery.

===Random Facts===
At the end of each day, Edmont takes his unsold baked wares and gives them away for free to orphan children and beggars around Ul'dah.
