==Appearance==

Generally considered a tall lalafell though often difficult to appreciate due to an increasing tendency to slouch, this is quite apparent when in the presence of most others of her kind. Her movements denote a lazy, calm demeanour of someone who either has little to worry about or not a lot to look forward to, which is further reflected in her clothing. She favors simple and contrasting tones such as black and white in an attempt to remain unnoticed, and walks quietly from place to place while avoiding needless interactions whenever applicable, like a wandering ghost. Of course having been a hermit for some time, this mostly happens when she's absolutely forced to go out. The style of the clothing can change as the seasons do, though it's mostly linked to whatever she's set her mind to. While not really related to clothes, it's still worth noting how her fingers are ornamented by long black nails as well kept as her also ridiculously long purple mane, arguably her most attractive feature. The length of her ears correlates to her height and this allows her to adorn them with all sorts of trinkets and ornaments typically intended for practical spirituality.

Past her more easily noticeable features one can perceive other careful details such as the outdated tribal markings covering her face, her baggy sleepless eyes and her dark-ish choice for facial glamours. Should one be as unlucky (or maybe otherwise) as to glimpse at more of her bareness many scars would be revealed plaguing the skin of someone who doesn't exactly look like the type to be hunting for this kind of thrill, and most of them can be predicted of being caused by claw, blade and gunshot.

==Behavior==

As an eastern sage once said, every person has three different faces to wear in different situations and Koko would be no different. The first face is the one the rest of the world sees: the face of someone who would rather run away from the natural course of things in this world, keeping her interactions to strictly business should they occur. In the rare case of said interactions going a little deeper she shows herself as a cold, distant and distrustful individual with a pre-determined negative view on most things. Not one to mince words, it's not strange for her to rapidly result offensive to other speakers in casual conversations, having a habit of saying things as she sees them, no more and no less, and to look for the ways to undermine and humiliate other people's confidence when enough information is available. All of this adds to her solitary situation, though her actions hint that all of it is intentional, sometimes even being glad of things going the way they do. What becomes really clear from this side of her is that she values reliable knowledge, a drive to discover said knowledge, and in the same way shuns ignorance and intellectual conformism.

The second face is the one only a very few ever see, and currently only two people are fortunate enough to be considered among them. Here is where she feels comfortable and safe, revealing herself to be a calm and homely person who enjoys being left alone and at peace, things both simple and sophisticated, who reads and writes and ponders about the Twelve, philosophy and the meaning of life and other various things of this ilk. Beyond all of that though lies the self-improving will of someone who is aware of the certain possibility of being the head of the family, one day. As such she pampers and spoils those closest to her perhaps too much, at least when she's not enthralled by her most recent obsession, which causes her to remain locked in the same place surrounded by books, looking for something not even her knows well enough. This can go for days, giving way to an intensification of her sickly features. Overall, it's obvious that here she is among those who make up her entire life and as such, she would sacrifice a great deal to keep them out of harm's way.

The third face is the one she only shows to herself.

*The Father '''(''' ♥ ✖ ''')''' - A very busy man and someone who those close to their family rarely meet. He is said to be obsessed in some sort of crusade, forced by current affairs to a life of wandering. This results in a fairly poor performance when it comes to his fatherly duties, which could be the reason why Kokomi rarely praises or talks about him. All in all, what he does he does for his family even if nobody knows exactly the reasons behind everything, yet.

She represents one of the two pillars that support her in her fickle attempts at trying become a better version of herself, not only encouraging her to have a clear defined goal to achieve but also to remind her of the responsibility she will one day have as the potential head of their family. Recent times have proven that the girl still needs to recover somewhat from having grown up without a mother, spoiled by a troubled father with a heart of gold and as a result Koko has become more accustomed to being warm to those she values, having even improved her cooking skills just for her.

He is the one man which she has chosen to share quite literally, -all- of her life with, which might appear odd considering the little free spirit of a man he tends to come up as. More trials have been braved by his side, and after a brief spell of courage the two have accepted to become engaged and so, now all they worry about is paving their path to that apparently final goal. Sadly, it seems that his love for her is such that part of his own family might even see her as an inconvenience, keeping their Nananomi away from them for such lengths of time.

==Appearance==

Even for a Lalafell, Nomi is considered short, standing at around ninety centimeters when stood absolutely straight. Much like the rest of his family, he boasts golden hair and eyes, the latter of which reveal his Dunesfolk heritage due to the protective layer coating them. His skin has seen a rather generous amount of sun and he sports a slight tan because of such, which proves to compliment both his hair and eyes brilliantly.

Possibly the thing that stands out the most about Nomi's apperance is the fact he's seemingly blessed with the most androgynous of facial features, which often leads to much in the way of confusion once people find out that he is actually a dude. Some people still can't make up their mind about what gender he truly is, which the Lalafell seems to enjoy immensely. Perhaps if he got a haircut, people might have an easier time realising he's totally not a girl, but that's never going to happen. Speaking of his hair, it reaches down to his shoulders and rumours have formed that many a person has withered away due to spending too much time playing with his luscious locks. Don't try and resist his hair, it's perfection incarnate.

Apart from the few freckles that decorate his ickle face, Nomi is pretty much clear of imperfections, atleast until his left arm is exposed to the world. Near said arm's shoulder, is a rather nasty looking scar that is visible on both sides, a memento to the time he received the first Eorzean arm piercing. The Lalafell's right hand often strays towards the area of the scar when he's deep in thought, more often than not causing him to frown and mutter unpleasant things below his breath. While on the subject of piercings, Nomi seems rather keen on ear-based ones, judging by the two rings adorning his left ear as well as a pair of dangly gemstone thingies that remain seperated. His piercings are pretty rad.

He's not quite sure when it happened, but a strange set of black markings popped up on the underside of his left wrist at some point. Either he got himself a drunken tattoo in some foreign language that probably translates into spaghetti or something equally as not-good-for-tattoos, or there's an actual purpose behind it. Who can say? He can, as well as a few other folk.

==Behavior==
A liar, a teller of tall tales and a Lalafell of so many faces that only a very select few have had the chance to interact with him when he's truly himself. Nomi is the kind of person who chooses to live his life with few truths being told and it's become something he'll probably never grow out of, simply because things are much easier this way. There isn't any denying that the little guy has come a very long way and changed so much since he first started travelling across Eorzea, thanks to the various reasons he's had for actually bothering to mature and stop being such a gloomy little shit who refuses to believe anything can improve.

There are few things that seem to remain constant, no matter who he's interacting with or what mask he's donning at the time and those are unmeasurable levels of cheek, a desire to try and make light of every situation and a hell of an attitude. Thus, it's awful difficult for most people to actually put up with his company for extended periods of time without feeling an overwhelming urge to grind his face into any nearby hard surface.

Deep down, he's quite the caring individual and that's quite possibly why he began lying so much in the first place, since hurting people he cares about is one of the few things he tears himself up over. Speaking of such, he's also very protective of the few people he actually names friends and will do a great many things for them, even if he doesn't act like such is the case for the vast majority of the time. Perhaps there's still a good person hiding away below all the things that portray him as an absolute ass? Who knows.

====General====
Peneli is a Lominsan lalafell and an adventurer in practically every sense of the word. Striving to grow strong ever since he was a wee little lad, he left his peaceful farm life very early to work around Limsa Lominsa in various ways, eventually joining the Marauder's guild, the Maelstrom and more. His military career was short lived and disappointing, and so he soon took different kinds of work, eventually settling with monster hunting. He has been wandering the world mostly on his own since then for several cycles, having become someone practical and sure of his own abilities, honed over the years without any help but his own. He's a strong bodied and strong willed plainsfolk guy who tends to take everything Eorzea throws at him as a challenge, with a confident smile on his face. He constantly finds himself surrounded by hopeless or sad people, and that encourages him to be the positive force and try to change for them. With an optimistic attitude, he's always trying to find those in more need of help or support and to become a brotherly figure to them, even when he has dozens of cousins and relatives roaming around the world. So, he likes the idea of him being a hero for someone one day, though that seems to be proving a little harder than he initially thought. He avoids his family for some reason, too.

Nowadays he's still a hardworking fellow, always looking to improve himself or his friends, and works as a hunter gatherer for the Kindred, still strongly opposed to causing harm to other people unless they really deserve it.

====Appearance====

Not one to care a lot about appearance, his hair is really long and badly cared for, though he keeps it in a little ponytail. His face bears several scars, one of them horizontally on his forehead and covered by the hair and a tattoo, though there's more of them all over his entire body, due to his lifestyle. His physical state is close to its peak, and while he's not really smart, his willpower is also noteworthy, being able to stand a lot of mental suffering. As for clothes, practicality and simplicity, being a farm boy, tend to be favored, though the armour suits he uses to hunt are most of the time composed of various pieces coming from a lot of different sets.

Don't forget the smile, he's smiling most of the time, if not always.

====Behavior====

The lalafell loves his freedom, often giving the impression of living in his own little world of fantasy. Still he has gone through a lot, always having tried to be what he really isn't and growing up among roegadyn, which forced him to withstand constant harassment and dangerous pranks all the time. Because of this, his way of going forces him to give his 110% at all times and impress those around him whenever he can, his personal improvement being his current objective in life. He's also very optimistic and willing to sacrifice a lot to help a friend. One might think it's physically impossible to be such a good guy, so that might seem suspicious.

A wandering adventurer with many sources of inspiration to improve his performance, he relies on a balance between mobility and protection, striking only where it counts, and a variety of fighting styles mostly from La Noscea, to hunt monsters of all sizes. He knows his share about different kinds of traps, baits and helpful strategies, knowing enough beastly lore to take the better approach when fighting different kinds of foes. Especially noteworthy his ability to use the fact that he is a lalafell and most monsters will only see him as a delicious snack, to gain an opening chance on them.

Also since he just started properly learning how to read recently, magic has never been considered.

====Heavy polearms====

Being a lalafell monster hunter demands the advantage of reach if one is to survive properly, and so Peneli has only attempted to master long or heavy weapons, enough for him to have a guaranteed presence while offering a chance to retreat. Most of his time using them has been spent alone, so he's practically self taught in many regards, something easily seen in his agile style which often takes advantage of his light weight and the staff of his weapons to launch himself as a living weapon when needed. So long as he carries one of these weapons and fights against monsters, he's a force to be reckoned with and one very prone to surpass expectations. But when it comes to fighting other people, with the intent of hurting them, he's filled with doubt and regret, since he wants to keep a promise of not murdering any other living person if he can avoid it, and he's not too experienced with humanoid opponents, beastmen aside.

While his family is large and varied, it's mostly composed of uncles, aunts and cousins, and he doesn't care as much as he should about them, seeing them as an excuse to settle down and live a dull normal life.

::* [[Nunupu Nupu]]: Cheerful dunesfolk singer and member of the same company, a combination that caused Peneli and her to grow closer to each other fairly quickly, eventually becoming a little more than friends. After she has been missing for a decently long amount of time, he's starting to be really worried and miss her more than he ever thought, not minding whatever flaws she may had for his lifestyle.

::* [[Aria Benett]]: Petite midlander with a habit for choosing the lalafell to listen to her problems and offer advice in return, when required. This combined with her Gridanian personality and elegant looks have caused Peneli to develop a little crush for her, somewhat destroyed by the fact that she's always hanging around him with her roegadyn lover.

::* [[Yuyuki Yuki]]: Young spoiled dunesfolk girl, coming from a ruined ex-wealthy family and sharing Peneli's current martial instructor. Due to all of the issues she has, and tends to keep to herself, Yuki quickly became his little sister, even if she will never allow it. Peneli encourages her to leave the wealthy style of living behind and to embrace what their mentor is teaching them instead, but because of him being a plainsfolk he doesn't seem to be taken seriously by her.

::* [[Kakano Kano]]: Ex-flames soldier dunesfolk lady whom Peneli met during a regular trip to the Quicksand. The two then went on to hunt some toads and regular beasts, so they practically became friends by going out and kicking butt, just as Peneli likes. Over the time Peneli has slowly discovered more about her personality, which combined with her good dunesfolk looks has sparked some interest in him. Still he doesn't want to do anything he would regret by risking her friendship over something more significant. For now.

::* [[Bexy Amalaryssia]]: Miqo'te colleague and fellow bartender. Someone he finds cute and inspiring at the same time, since her beloved is always away and she is forced to gather the strength to stand it, every day. Of course, this is seen by him as a similarity to his own "remain strong no matter what" philosophy. It was during one of those bar evenings when he really started to consider her a friend, after his blind bravery almost caused him to be stabbed by a stranger, stopped by Bexy.

::* [[Lulula Lulu]]: Plainsfolk teen girl who just stumbled into Peneli's life, and is quickly winning his heart. She seems to be just what he needs right now, someone young and full of dreams who wants to become an adventurer one day, reminding him of himself when he was younger, just as a female version of his own, cycles ago. And of course, she's already looking up to him. Maybe she's the perfect little sister he's always wanted, but he's not sure, as she tends to round his mind way too often, not knowing why. He seems to be extremely protective towards her.

::* [[Nananomi Nomi]]: This little guy was at first considered Yuki's potential love interest and little more, and so Peneli didn't pay him a whole lot of attention, though the recent developments, combined with his feminine looks have served as an inspiration for the most ambitious and cunning rescue mission the plainsfolk has ever thought of. And since it resulted in the retrieval of one of his cousins, safely enough, so all in all he's not such a bad dunesfolk.

::* [[Mara Lynne]]: Lominsan midlander and thus a comrade of sorts, both of them sharing similar personalities and goals and ultimately getting along pretty darn well. Arguably his best hyur friend, though precisely because of their lominsan attitude they prefer action to words, so there's not a lot to say about their usual interactions. She's been helping him a lot when it comes to armour repairing or improvements, and he finds it a real shame to know that she's not specialized in weapons too, because for someone like him that would be a wonderful coincidence.

::* [[Leanna Vist]]: Highlander woman he hasn't known for a long time, but who he considers a good ally, keeping in mind how frequently she offers her assistance when the lalafell is in some kind of trouble. She also appreciates Peneli's positive spirit, as reflected in silly things like the Chocobo knight or his vision of the "adventurers", as well as considering him an actual man with a heart, not just some kind of cute little kid. He's probably going to sit next to her when possible, knowing all of this.

==Character==
====General====

A lalafell usually found in a foul mood, with a sickly look on her face and some nasty bags under her eyes during most days. Loved by a few, avoided by other few and neutral for the rest, she says to be a priestess of Thal and enjoys a weird cruel sense of humor, which often causes her to be the focus of all the frowns in the room, although the cruelty of it is usually pointed at herself. Well mannered yet always seeming to be suspicious, inciting a sense of caution on some who interact with her, Koko has grown to be an avid scholar and researcher of the occult, eventually earning several derogatory nicknames such as "witch". This is further encouraged by the fact that she often sleeps during the common daytime and awakes when others go to bed, which combined with the fact that she uses blood for her research and some spells, has spawned a lot of funny yet misdirected gossip.

Elder of the two sisters and black sheep in the family, she consumes -at least- a bottle of wine a day, finding the drink to be one of the only joys left in life and one that allows her to actually be social. Those fortunate enough to have met her a long time ago may be attached to her nowadays, but for those who just arrived this might seem odd and unsettling, given the disposition of the woman towards isolation and rejecting common individuals from her immediate presence.

Recently, she has been offering her protection against aetherical or void related threats for the Kindred, solely demanding a steady supply of wine as a form of payment.

====Appearance====

From her appearance alone, one can immediately think that she has some kind of problem, probably related to sleep deprivation. Her upper face is covered by tribal tattoos and while her eyes give off a beautiful shade of purple, the nervous ticks she sometimes suffers there coupled with the bags under them make her look unhealthy. She is tall, but not extremely so, and her body is soft due to her self-destructive and sedentary lifestyle. Her back bears some barely seen scars which seem to be caused by some sort of whip, probably wielded by herself judging by the position and angle. Her hair is naturally turquoise, though some strings of light-grey are starting to show already, combined with hairstyles usually adopted by mature adults to give her exactly that kind of presence.

Her attire ranges from one extreme to almost the other, though she's more commonly seen either dressed as a priestess or as a wealthy scholar lady. Her acolyte robes are ornamented with void-sensitive pieces of jewelry to help her detect an unwelcome presence before anything terrible happens, though her noble-lady clothes are much more standard, merely offering a nice external appearance to compensate for her personality.

====Behavior====

Pessimistic, jealous, generally strange unless inebriated. Where this lalafell used to be a lazy good for nothing, now a mysteriously determined individual appears. Strongly motivated by an unknown factor she is yet to reveal to most people close to her, the majority of her actions show her willingness to sacrifice herself and take the darkest paths of life, so that a few specific people may remain walking on the light. Still, this same determination has caused her to become a little sadistic and cruel, finding entertainment and relief in it. When it comes to interacting with others, she can be considered one to respect the rules and at least attempt to remain civil whenever possible, yet still one to immediately bite with venomous fangs when the situation turns against her.

Around her family members, she seems to be much more caring, though in such a way that could make most people wonder about what her true feelings are like. All in all, her way of acting and living gives the vibe of her being like a walking-dead.

Koko is a nowadays both a fully dedicated and talented thaumaturge, and an apprentice in guild-forbidden arts involving blood and other varied sacrifices. When fueled by her jealousy, she bears little regard for other people's lives and can turn to be fairly cruel. Death is seen as more of a blessing by her, often viewing her servitude to Thal as something akin to a grim reaper in search of those who deserve to meet her god.

Phisically, she is not in a good condition, tiring fairly easily from bodily efforts, but her magical potential more than compensates for it.

====Thaumaturgy====

Of course, being now fully dedicated to thaumaturgy and talented for it bears impressive results, and so if something can be achieved through this school of magic, Koko can probably manage to do it. Not mixing it with conjury, arcanima or any martial skill, her thaumic abilities are very sharp and her spells can be subtle, versatile or devastating, the effects including but not limited to sleepiness, nausea, fire, ice, shock, lightning, explosions, aether bursts and short range teleportation. Her considerable aether pool combined with her ability to interact with it also makes her able to become a succulent bait for voidsent, easily catching their attention when needed, but also able to hide her presence otherwise. She has used this skill in the past to become a volunteering sacrifice in order to lure the void presence outside of its thrall, in order to ave its life while others take care of the demon.

====Family====

::*Yuyuki Yuki: Younger and dearest sister. Yuyuki could still be considered an innocent, yet spoiled child, and the age gap between the two forces Koko to feel like a replacement of their mother sometimes. Koko's past actions have indirectly influenced her sister's life in a negative way, to the point of eventually making her lose her own job as an accountant in Ul'dah. This is one of her biggest regrets, so one could think she's now atoning for this in her self imposed crusade. Nowadays Yuyuki seems to be trying to do the same, working hard to save Koko from destroying herself.

::*[[Nananomi Nomi]]: Surrogate brother she met during better times, in a much different situation and while adopting an entirely different identity. The two used to be very close, Nananomi being practically her only friend and comforting presence for most of the time. Having shared plenty of adventures and misadventures, the two eventually decided to adopt each other to wipe away the rising rumors about them being romantically involved, however time and circumstances have been moving them away from each other again. Gladly, they still maintain a decently good relationship, though Koko doesn't find him to be as important to her now as he used to be.

While her friends used to be varied and abundant, being a reclusive, lonely cultist is not exactly a good way of getting to be known.

::*[[Bexy Amalaryssia]]: Elegant and polite miqo'te, and the only person she has recently met who is really in love. Long ago, Koko offered her advice to a conflicted Bexy, and soon after offered one of her old friends to heal her and save her life, planting the seeds for a future friendship that would eventually bring a glint of light to the lalafell's lowest and darkest moment. Since them, Koko is slowly starting to open herself to others, greatly appreciating Bexy's presence and more than willing to waste her otherwise precious time with the miqo'te. Since Bexy seems to really love her significant other, a strong feeling of jealousy often rounds Koko's mind, though she likes her friend too much for it to be relevant.

::*Menphina: While she won't admit it around Keepers, her hatred for Menphina, both the representation of the deity and the astral body itself, is not something to be ignored. Moving her to act in zealous and paranoid ways, this is what really keeps her going when everything else fails.
