: Nailah is short for a highlander, so much that several people have referred to her as a "Shortlander" instead. She is about a head and a bit lower than her peers, standing at approximately 168 cm. She is of a build that appeals more to mobility and speed, combined with the usual strength for a highlander. Her muscles are lightly defined, with her skin being of a fair hue - often subject to tans as she spends a great amount of time in the regions where the sun is rarely anything but baking. She appears to be somewhere in her late twenties, and her time around in Eorzea has landed her with a number of scars. The most distinct ones are located on her left shoulder - Respectively, a large melted scar from a severe burn, and several grim scars from a plethora of knife-cuts and lashings. Her hair is of a deep red color, often compared to an intense fire. It's cut short, in a fashionable style. She has grey eyes, and on her left cheek she carries a water-resistant piece of face-paint that she touches up on once in a while.
: Of attire, Nailah greatly prefers relaxed clothing. She is rarely armored, opting for leather whenever required. She can often be seen in lominsan-inspired attires, and has no problem wearing slightly revealing clothing. She is rarely, if ever, sighted in dresses and skirts. Almost at all times, people will see either or both of her bags with her - a rucksack for longer trips, and a single-strapped shoulder bag for daily errands. She is a woman who is used to the concept of living out of your bags, and as such she often carries a multitude of items with her, stretching for survivalist gear, food and knives to trinkets and pelts.
: In recent time, Nailah has also been sighted wielding two daggers, however they are usually concealed within her attires.

: Nailah as a person is a woman used to the rhythm of the world. She usually puts up a facade of smiles and pleasant conversation when she is out and about. She enjoys meeting new people, and is always game for talking about business of various sort. Should one be persistent enough to break through her barriers, one would find a Nailah that is showing signs of wear of the years. Her job isn't an easy one, and she finds it hard to leave her worries go and relax. She misses elements of her past dearly, and may seem much like a flickering flame.
: Her biggest passion is her company, she owes it a lot for practically saving her life, and will go to great lengths to keep it safe. The same can be said about her closest friends, she is fiercely loyal until someone proves that they do not deserve her loyalty.

: Nailah was born into a time of trouble, where uncertainty and fear weren't uncommon in Ala Mihgo, the great City State of the Highlanders. She was the youngest child in a pack of three, to her Highlander mother and Midlander father. They had met within the field of keeping people safe, and continued to work as that in the first few years of Nailah's life. When the King of Ruin fell, however, the turmoil that followed and preceded the Garlean takeover was too much for her parents to handle, and they were subsequently killed. Strangers found Nailah and her two elder siblings, though she had been separated from them, and as such they were sent to different orphanages. Nailah ended in Ul'dah, too terrified to say her own name. She was given the name Sastra by her caregiver at the orphanage, and she continued to live here for all of her childhood, with memories from her time in Ala Mihgo fading into the subconsciousness of her mind.

: Sometime around her thirteenth year, Nailah was faced with no other option but to move away from the orphanage. She'd become too old to stay, and as a last act of kindness, the orphanage gave her several options to find work and mentor-ship in Ul'dah. But neither the crafts nor the guilds of arm caught her interest. Rather, she chose to seek outside of the walls, with no knowledge of what dangers that was out there. That she survived her first night, and the moons to follow, was down more to luck than her skills. She did however start to pick up on tips and tricks, and after some years of making it on her own, she came upon a settlement that hesitantly allowed her to stay for a number of years. It was here that she met the love of her life, where she matured and honed her skills to her own kind of mastery, and it is where she realized that no matter how much love she felt for a place -and it's people, the wanderlust would always overcome her in the end.

: Whilst Nailah has adjusted to her position in her company, she still has many challenges both grand and small, that is ever evolving as she treads further down her road. She doubts her own capabilities, and is in the wake of a removal of a blockage of her aether, learning the arts of Thraumaturgy in order to make up for one of her worst shortcomings: Being rather miserably defenseless in advanced combat situations. Her progress is slow, as she is not familiar with the concept of sitting down and reading a book. She has over the past few months learnt how to read and write to some extend, but is still lacking efficiency and routine. However under Mikh'a Elakha's expert guidance, she is confident that she will at least survive her trials.
: When it comes to her social life, it stands more muted compared to earlier times. Her company work is weighing down her time, and when she finally does try to socialize with her employees, it usually results in people feeling awkward as she is their boss. She has been seeking to visit other bars and events more frequently because of this, and has been blessed to meet several people she can have perfectly normal conversations with her.
: It would seem the winding path is taking her further and further away from her life as it was just a few years ago, something she has noticed - time will tell if she can keep on denying herself the ways and tendencies that she once used to live for.

:First Glance
At first Glance Rythiel seems to stand rather tall even by Highlander standards, his physique looking as though he's either spent cycles training and continues to do so, or has spent cycles fighting. Both would hold equally true given simply by asking him of his occupation, to which he'd respond with plainly stating he was a Mercenary. The armour and weapons he carries would confirm as much, even if of late his armour seemed to bear the marking of the Flames.

:Armour and Weapons
It wasn't long ago that you'd be able to see Rythiel decked out in armour coloured with Blacks and Reds, some parts looking distinctly Maelstrom like in appearance. And whilst some of those bits likely were pieces he'd aquired during his cycles with the Maelstrom, most of it was from before those days. Yet of late both his armour and weapons have changed substantially. First his Axe changed, he formerly had one obviously taken from the Maelstrom, showed by the way it was forged and adorned. But the one he carries now bears no such markings, it seems simplistic yet efficient in its design, and at first glance could easily be mistaken for a Mace rather than an Axe. But upon drawing it and adjusting certain parts of it, the blades of the Axe slide out from the Mace like head with a rather satisfying sound. The Axe itself looks rather imposing, and certainly doesn't look to be something you'd wish to find yourself on the opposing end of. Though it also holds a lot of meaning to him with its History.

His armour recently however seems much lighter than what he wore before, and the change might've been brought on by his recent time spent within Ul'dah and Thanalan. It maintains protective parts in a lot of areas, whilst admitedly exposing others, yet the change of armour has allowed for more versatility and movement on the battlefield. It also seems to bear a marking the Flames are known for suggesting he might've started doing a bit of work for them or taking on a few contracts. Of late as well he seems to have begun carrying around some hefty sized fist weapons, they're far from anything fancy. Infact they appear to be for the most part made of Iron, and then wrapped tightly in leather.

:Scars and Markings
The man seems to have scars littering across his body and most of his armour, the two most notable and visible ones being on his face. One of them just above his right eye, and the other on his left cheek, the angle of them both could suggest it might have been a single blow that caused these, and you wouldn't be blamed for thinking so on first glance. But upon further inspection it'd become clear they're both seperate incidents, they vary in both their depth and their angle on his face. The one above his aye could've proven far more serious had it been a little deeper, and could've caused him to lose sight in that eye, if not the whole eye. The other on his cheek looks to more of a graze caused from a blade that might've narrowly nicked at his skin, but cut deep enough to leave an obvious scar.

Beneath his armour the scars would spread further, primarily across his upper body and upper arms, but also branching across his back. However amongst the scars there's a different marking, on his left upper arm his has a tattoo. The tattoo in question is hardly something extravagent and if anything seems to resemble something you'd expect a Pirate or Brigand from the La Noscea region to make use of. Most of the scars that cover his body look to have been caused from fighting, but two look a lot newer than the others. On his left side side sits one of these which looks like a glancing blow from a bladed weapon that cut through his armour. Though on his right shoulder there looks to be more of a stab wound from a smaller blade, yet this has been healed up and was likely far worse before the healers got to it.

:Personality
Most of the time Rythiel is fairly cheerful, and it's not often he'll have cause to get angry or raise his voice towards people. Yet that's not to say his mood can't turn from happy to angry fairly swiftly with the right motives. He can be incredibly stubborn and prideful when it comes to certain situations, which has led to situations that might've been avoidable, instead escalating further. But once he's set in a path it would take a great deal of effort from those around him to sway him from it.

:First Glance
At first Glance Rythiel seems to stand rather tall even by Highlander standards, his physique looking as though he's either spent cycles training and continues to do so, or has spent cycles fighting. Both would hold equally true given simply by asking him of his occupation, to which he'd respond with plainly stating he was a Mercenary. The armour and weapons he carries would confirm as much, even if of late his armour seemed to bear the marking of the Flames.

:Armour and Weapons
It wasn't long ago that you'd be able to see Rythiel decked out in armour coloured with Blacks and Reds, some parts looking distinctly Maelstrom like in appearance. And whilst some of those bits likely were pieces he'd aquired during his cycles with the Maelstrom, most of it was from before those days. Yet of late both his armour and weapons have changed substantially. First his Axe changed, he formerly had one obviously taken from the Maelstrom, showed by the way it was forged and adorned. But the one he carries now bears no such markings, it seems simplistic yet efficient in its design, and at first glance could easily be mistaken for a Mace rather than an Axe. But upon drawing it and adjusting certain parts of it, the blades of the Axe slide out from the Mace like head with a rather satisfying sound. The Axe itself looks rather imposing, and certainly doesn't look to be something you'd wish to find yourself on the opposing end of. Though it also holds a lot of meaning to him with its History.

His armour recently however seems much lighter than what he wore before, and the change might've been brought on by his recent time spent within Ul'dah and Thanalan. It maintains protective parts in a lot of areas, whilst admitedly exposing others, yet the change of armour has allowed for more versatility and movement on the battlefield. It also seems to bear a marking the Flames are known for suggesting he might've started doing a bit of work for them or taking on a few contracts. Of late as well he seems to have begun carrying around some hefty sized fist weapons, they're far from anything fancy. Infact they appear to be for the most part made of Iron, and then wrapped tightly in leather.

:Scars and Markings
The man seems to have scars littering across his body and most of his armour, the two most notable and visible ones being on his face. One of them just above his right eye, and the other on his left cheek, the angle of them both could suggest it might have been a single blow that caused these, and you wouldn't be blamed for thinking so on first glance. But upon further inspection it'd become clear they're both seperate incidents, they vary in both their depth and their angle on his face. The one above his aye could've proven far more serious had it been a little deeper, and could've caused him to lose sight in that eye, if not the whole eye. The other on his cheek looks to more of a graze caused from a blade that might've narrowly nicked at his skin, but cut deep enough to leave an obvious scar.

Beneath his armour the scars would spread further, primarily across his upper body and upper arms, but also branching across his back. However amongst the scars there's a different marking, on his left upper arm his has a tattoo. The tattoo in question is hardly something extravagent and if anything seems to resemble something you'd expect a Pirate or Brigand from the La Noscea region to make use of. Most of the scars that cover his body look to have been caused from fighting, but two look a lot newer than the others. On his left side side sits one of these which looks like a glancing blow from a bladed weapon that cut through his armour. Though on his right shoulder there looks to be more of a stab wound from a smaller blade, yet this has been healed up and was likely far worse before the healers got to it.

:Personality
Most of the time Rythiel is fairly cheerful, and it's not often he'll have cause to get angry or raise his voice towards people. Yet that's not to say his mood can't turn from happy to angry fairly swiftly with the right motives. He can be incredibly stubborn and prideful when it comes to certain situations, which has led to situations that might've been avoidable, instead escalating further. But once he's set in a path it would take a great deal of effort from those around him to sway him from it.

At first Glance Rythiel seems to stand rather tall even by Highlander standards, his physique looking as though he's either spent cycles training and continues to do so, or has spent cycles fighting. Both would hold equally true given simply by asking him of his occupation, to which he'd respond with plainly stating he was a Mercenary. The armour and weapons he carries would confirm as much, even if of late his armour seemed to bear the marking of the Flames.

:Armour and Weapons
It wasn't long ago that you'd be able to see Rythiel decked out in armour coloured with Blacks and Reds, some parts looking distinctly Maelstrom like in appearance. And whilst some of those bits likely were pieces he'd aquired during his cycles with the Maelstrom, most of it was from before those days. Yet of late both his armour and weapons have changed substantially. First his Axe changed, he formerly had one obviously taken from the Maelstrom, showed by the way it was forged and adorned. But the one he carries now bears no such markings, it seems simplistic yet efficient in its design, and at first glance could easily be mistaken for a Mace rather than an Axe. But upon drawing it and adjusting certain parts of it, the blades of the Axe slide out from the Mace like head with a rather satisfying sound. The Axe itself looks rather imposing, and certainly doesn't look to be something you'd wish to find yourself on the opposing end of. Though it also holds a lot of meaning to him with its History.

His armour recently however seems much lighter than what he wore before, and the change might've been brought on by his recent time spent within Ul'dah and Thanalan. It maintains protective parts in a lot of areas, whilst admitedly exposing others, yet the change of armour has allowed for more versatility and movement on the battlefield. It also seems to bear a marking the Flames are known for suggesting he might've started doing a bit of work for them or taking on a few contracts. Of late as well he seems to have begun carrying around some hefty sized fist weapons, they're far from anything fancy. Infact they appear to be for the most part made of Iron, and then wrapped tightly in leather.

:Scars and Markings
The man seems to have scars littering across his body and most of his armour, the two most notable and visible ones being on his face. One of them just above his right eye, and the other on his left cheek, the angle of them both could suggest it might have been a single blow that caused these, and you wouldn't be blamed for thinking so on first glance. But upon further inspection it'd become clear they're both seperate incidents, they vary in both their depth and their angle on his face. The one above his aye could've proven far more serious had it been a little deeper, and could've caused him to lose sight in that eye, if not the whole eye. The other on his cheek looks to more of a graze caused from a blade that might've narrowly nicked at his skin, but cut deep enough to leave an obvious scar.

Beneath his armour the scars would spread further, primarily across his upper body and upper arms, but also branching across his back. However amongst the scars there's a different marking, on his left upper arm his has a tattoo. The tattoo in question is hardly something extravagent and if anything seems to resemble something you'd expect a Pirate or Brigand from the La Noscea region to make use of. Most of the scars that cover his body look to have been caused from fighting, but two look a lot newer than the others. On his left side side sits one of these which looks like a glancing blow from a bladed weapon that cut through his armour. Though on his right shoulder there looks to be more of a stab wound from a smaller blade, yet this has been healed up and was likely far worse before the healers got to it.

:Personality
Most of the time Rythiel is fairly cheerful, and it's not often he'll have cause to get angry or raise his voice towards people. Yet that's not to say his mood can't turn from happy to angry fairly swiftly with the right motives. He can be incredibly stubborn and prideful when it comes to certain situations, which has led to situations that might've been avoidable, instead escalating further. But once he's set in a path it would take a great deal of effort from those around him to sway him from it.

: Nailah is short for a highlander, so much that several people have referred to her as a "Shortlander" instead. She is about a head and a bit lower than her peers, standing at approximately 168 cm. She is of a build that appeals more to mobility and speed, combined with the usual strength for a highlander. Her muscles are lightly defined, with her skin being of a fair hue - often subject to tans as she spends a great amount of time in the regions where the sun is rarely anything but baking. She appears to be somewhere in her late twenties, and her time around in Eorzea has landed her with a number of scars. The most distinct ones are located on her left shoulder - Respectively, a large melted scar from a severe burn, and several grim scars from a plethora of knife-cuts and lashings. Her hair is of a deep red color, often compared to an intense fire. It's cut short, in a fashionable style. She has grey eyes, and on her left cheek she carries a water-resistant piece of face-paint that she touches up on once in a while.
: Of attire, Nailah greatly prefers relaxed clothing. She is rarely armored, opting for leather whenever required. She can often be seen in lominsan-inspired attires, and has no problem wearing slightly revealing clothing. She is rarely, if ever, sighted in dresses and skirts. Almost at all times, people will see either or both of her bags with her - a rucksack for longer trips, and a single-strapped shoulder bag for daily errands. She is a woman who is used to the concept of living out of your bags, and as such she often carries a multitude of items with her, stretching for survivalist gear, food and knives to trinkets and pelts.
: In recent time, Nailah has also been sighted wielding two daggers, however they are usually concealed within her attires.

: Nailah as a person is a woman used to the rhythm of the world. She usually puts up a facade of smiles and pleasant conversation when she is out and about. She enjoys meeting new people, and is always game for talking about business of various sort. Should one be persistent enough to break through her barriers, one would find a Nailah that is showing signs of wear of the years. Her job isn't an easy one, and she finds it hard to leave her worries go and relax. She misses elements of her past dearly, and may seem much like a flickering flame.
: Her biggest passion is her company, she owes it a lot for practically saving her life, and will go to great lengths to keep it safe. The same can be said about her closest friends, she is fiercely loyal until someone proves that they do not deserve her loyalty.

: Nailah was born into a time of trouble, where uncertainty and fear weren't uncommon in Ala Mihgo, the great City State of the Highlanders. She was the youngest child in a pack of three, to her Highlander mother and Midlander father. They had met within the field of keeping people safe, and continued to work as that in the first few years of Nailah's life. When the King of Ruin fell, however, the turmoil that followed and preceded the Garlean takeover was too much for her parents to handle, and they were subsequently killed. Strangers found Nailah and her two elder siblings, though she had been separated from them, and as such they were sent to different orphanages. Nailah ended in Ul'dah, too terrified to say her own name. She was given the name Sastra by her caregiver at the orphanage, and she continued to live here for all of her childhood, with memories from her time in Ala Mihgo fading into the subconsciousness of her mind.

: Sometime around her thirteenth year, Nailah was faced with no other option but to move away from the orphanage. She'd become too old to stay, and as a last act of kindness, the orphanage gave her several options to find work and mentor-ship in Ul'dah. But neither the crafts nor the guilds of arm caught her interest. Rather, she chose to seek outside of the walls, with no knowledge of what dangers that was out there. That she survived her first night, and the moons to follow, was down more to luck than her skills. She did however start to pick up on tips and tricks, and after some years of making it on her own, she came upon a settlement that hesitantly allowed her to stay for a number of years. It was here that she met the love of her life, where she matured and honed her skills to her own kind of mastery, and it is where she realized that no matter how much love she felt for a place -and it's people, the wanderlust would always overcome her in the end.

: Whilst Nailah has adjusted to her position in her company, she still has many challenges both grand and small, that is ever evolving as she treads further down her road. She doubts her own capabilities, and is in the wake of a removal of a blockage of her aether, learning the arts of Thraumaturgy in order to make up for one of her worst shortcomings: Being rather miserably defenseless in advanced combat situations. Her progress is slow, as she is not familiar with the concept of sitting down and reading a book. She has over the past few months learnt how to read and write to some extend, but is still lacking efficiency and routine. However under Mikh'a Elakha's expert guidance, she is confident that she will at least survive her trials.
: When it comes to her social life, it stands more muted compared to earlier times. Her company work is weighing down her time, and when she finally does try to socialize with her employees, it usually results in people feeling awkward as she is their boss. She has been seeking to visit other bars and events more frequently because of this, and has been blessed to meet several people she can have perfectly normal conversations with her.
: It would seem the winding path is taking her further and further away from her life as it was just a few years ago, something she has noticed - time will tell if she can keep on denying herself the ways and tendencies that she once used to live for.
