Suzume was born 3 years after the invasion and subjugation of Doma by the Garlean Empire. Born to a family of what appeared to be simple farmers the girl wasn't given much notice, and that was exactly how the family liked it. While the Kurogane family boasted a small, modest, farm out of the way of most it was naught but a cover for their actual occupation. Resistance. The Kurogane family was not at all accepting of their new rulers and did everything they could to undermine the Garleans, disrupting supply lines and tainting food stores. Largely they were able to get away with it, but only until Suzume turned 2. A few moons after her birthday the Garleans delivered swift and brutal justice to their home.

Suzume's mother Ayake hid her child away when she saw the soldiers approaching, tucking her away in a small compartment under the floor of their hut while the altercation took place. It was a violent thing that left the girl with a deep seated hatred for the Garleans later on, but that terrified her. After the soldiers were finished they dragged her mother away and left her father dying in the hut, setting it ablaze with him still inside. The girl herself was trapped in the small compartment, pushing hard at the door but failing to open it. Her cries for help however did not fall on deaf ears and while the house burned around them her dying father dragged himself to the compartment as quickly as he could. He would not let his daughter die.

He released her from the prison and the child screamed and cried over his fading body until the smoke became too much and though she tried she could not drag him from the house. She was forced to flee and she found once she started running she could not stop herself, not until she collapsed near the road. It would be there that Shouhei would find her, a wandering Priest come to investigate the smoke that he'd seen rising. Shouhei took in the girl without a thought, nursing her through her smoke inhalation and then raising her to become one of the Priestess that attended his temple. He had known of her parents, having stopped many times to purchase fruit or other foods from them for the temple itself but he'd never been close to them enough to have much of a hand in Suzume's life.

She was mistrustful at first but grew to love Shouhei as one would any parent. Grateful the girl threw herself into his tutelage at the young age of 8. Around her 10th birthday the Garleans called on the temple and bade it be shut down, they did not condone the worship that the Au Ra perpetrated. Shouhei fearing for his many wards agreed and sent the soldiers on their way. But he had no intention of taking away he hope that the Temple sewed in the Domans that prayed in their halls. The temple was moved to a more secluded part of the surrounding area and operated in secret, along with training to become a Priestess, or Priest the wards of the Temple were now taught how to fight as well and trained in the art of subterfuge as much as possible.

Suzume flourished in this environment, becoming proficient with the Bow, a Bo Staff, Naginata, and to a much lesser degree the sword. As with all Priestess' she was also taught in the arts of healing to take care of the injuries of those that passed through the temple like the rest. Her zealotry against the Garleans however was noticed and Shouhei, who had always felt close to her, decided it was time she aided the Resistances with him. For moons he'd been helping them by supplying food and the like form the temple, even weapons that they had been making as quietly as possible. Suzume accepted without hesitation, becoming the only other in the Temple to know where these people hid.

The temple evaded detection for a long while, providing succor to those who needed it regardless of their status or position on the war and aiding any Resistance that asked it of them. However as with all things kind the Garleans in the area took notice and captured one of the travelers that the Temple had cared for, the man fearing for his life, professed everything. The Temple was raiding the following evening, instead of a massacre however the soldiers captured those that worked there and dragged them away, though inevitably some were able to escape. Suzume refused to run and fought side by side with Shouhei until they were overpowered by the much larger amount of soldiers. Shouhei was captured and tortured while his student was forced to watch, but they would not kill him, needing his knowledge on the resistance's locations and members. They were becoming a thorn in the Empire's side.

In the end Shouhei refused to tell them and both he and Suzume were taken prisoner and dragged from their burning temple to be taken to the local Legatus. In the night before the reached their destination however some of the Shinobi in the resistance they had been aiding would raid the camp of the Garleans. In the confusion Suzume was able to escape but while freeing Shouhei she was wounded and he forced her to abandon him in favor of running, they would not kill him, he was sure of it. With no alternative Suzume ran, their Shinobi saviors being overwhelmed slowly, she'd never be sure if they saved Shouhei or survived.

Suzume fled to the nearest province and did her best to lie low but it was not to be. She was hunted relentlessly for her knowledge, and for the Legatus' pride, so when the Domans fled she blended herself in with the crowd and was whisked away to Eorzea. Now she seeks only to return to Doma and find Shouhei if he yet lives, but with little money and only what she could carry on her she knows she has a long road ahead of her to get herself back.

*Recently*
Recently Suzume has run into a companion that she has dubbed a bodyguard while in Eorzea, Hayate Ashikage. The two met when Suzume was attacked by bandits on the way to Ul'dah and she fled them only to run into a man who had already gained their ire. After a quick but bloody fight the bandits were left dead and Hayate actually -indebted- to the woman. The two are traveling together for the moment and doing their best to survive.

Suzume was born 3 years after the invasion and subjugation of Doma by the Garlean Empire. Born to a family of what appeared to be simple farmers the girl wasn't given much notice, and that was exactly how the family liked it. While the Kurogane family boasted a small, modest, farm out of the way of most it was naught but a cover for their actual occupation. Resistance. The Kurogane family was not at all accepting of their new rulers and did everything they could to undermine the Garleans, disrupting supply lines and tainting food stores. Largely they were able to get away with it, but only until Suzume turned 2. A few moons after her birthday the Garleans delivered swift and brutal justice to their home.

Suzume's mother Ayake hid her child away when she saw the soldiers approaching, tucking her away in a small compartment under the floor of their hut while the altercation took place. It was a violent thing that left the girl with a deep seated hatred for the Garleans later on, but that terrified her. After the soldiers were finished they dragged her mother away and left her father dying in the hut, setting it ablaze with him still inside. The girl herself was trapped in the small compartment, pushing hard at the door but failing to open it. Her cries for help however did not fall on deaf ears and while the house burned around them her dying father dragged himself to the compartment as quickly as he could. He would not let his daughter die.

He released her from the prison and the child screamed and cried over his fading body until the smoke became too much and though she tried she could not drag him from the house. She was forced to flee and she found once she started running she could not stop herself, not until she collapsed near the road. It would be there that Shouhei would find her, a wandering Priest come to investigate the smoke that he'd seen rising. Shouhei took in the girl without a thought, nursing her through her smoke inhalation and then raising her to become one of the Priestess that attended his temple. He had known of her parents, having stopped many times to purchase fruit or other foods from them for the temple itself but he'd never been close to them enough to have much of a hand in Suzume's life.

She was mistrustful at first but grew to love Shouhei as one would any parent. Grateful the girl threw herself into his tutelage at the young age of 8. Around her 10th birthday the Garleans called on the temple and bade it be shut down, they did not condone the worship that the Au Ra perpetrated. Shouhei fearing for his many wards agreed and sent the soldiers on their way. But he had no intention of taking away he hope that the Temple sewed in the Domans that prayed in their halls. The temple was moved to a more secluded part of the surrounding area and operated in secret, along with training to become a Priestess, or Priest the wards of the Temple were now taught how to fight as well and trained in the art of subterfuge as much as possible.

Suzume flourished in this environment, becoming proficient with the Bow, a Bo Staff, Naginata, and to a much lesser degree the sword. As with all Priestess' she was also taught in the arts of healing to take care of the injuries of those that passed through the temple like the rest. Her zealotry against the Garleans however was noticed and Shouhei, who had always felt close to her, decided it was time she aided the Resistances with him. For moons he'd been helping them by supplying food and the like form the temple, even weapons that they had been making as quietly as possible. Suzume accepted without hesitation, becoming the only other in the Temple to know where these people hid.

The temple evaded detection for a long while, providing succor to those who needed it regardless of their status or position on the war and aiding any Resistance that asked it of them. However as with all things kind the Garleans in the area took notice and captured one of the travelers that the Temple had cared for, the man fearing for his life, professed everything. The Temple was raiding the following evening, instead of a massacre however the soldiers captured those that worked there and dragged them away, though inevitably some were able to escape. Suzume refused to run and fought side by side with Shouhei until they were overpowered by the much larger amount of soldiers. Shouhei was captured and tortured while his student was forced to watch, but they would not kill him, needing his knowledge on the resistance's locations and members. They were becoming a thorn in the Empire's side.

In the end Shouhei refused to tell them and both he and Suzume were taken prisoner and dragged from their burning temple to be taken to the local Legatus. In the night before the reached their destination however some of the Shinobi in the resistance they had been aiding would raid the camp of the Garleans. In the confusion Suzume was able to escape but while freeing Shouhei she was wounded and he forced her to abandon him in favor of running, they would not kill him, he was sure of it. With no alternative Suzume ran, their Shinobi saviors being overwhelmed slowly, she'd never be sure if they saved Shouhei or survived.

Suzume fled to the nearest province and did her best to lie low but it was not to be. She was hunted relentlessly for her knowledge, and for the Legatus' pride, so when the Domans fled she blended herself in with the crowd and was whisked away to Eorzea. Now she seeks only to return to Doma and find Shouhei if he yet lives, but with little money and only what she could carry on her she knows she has a long road ahead of her to get herself back.

Recently Suzume has run into a companion that she has dubbed a bodyguard while in Eorzea, Hayate Ashikage. The two met when Suzume was attacked by bandits on the way to Ul'dah and she fled them only to run into a man who had already gained their ire. After a quick but bloody fight the bandits were left dead and Hayate actually -indebted- to the woman. The two are traveling together for the moment and doing their best to survive.

Suzume was born 3 years after the invasion and subjugation of Doma by the Garlean Empire. Born to a family of what appeared to be simple farmers the girl wasn't given much notice, and that was exactly how the family liked it. While the Kurogane family boasted a small, modest, farm out of the way of most it was naught but a cover for their actual occupation. Resistance. The Kurogane family was not at all accepting of their new rulers and did everything they could to undermine the Garleans, disrupting supply lines and tainting food stores. Largely they were able to get away with it, but only until Suzume turned 2. A few moons after her birthday the Garleans delivered swift and brutal justice to their home.

Suzume's mother Ayake hid her child away when she saw the soldiers approaching, tucking her away in a small compartment under the floor of their hut while the altercation took place. It was a violent thing that left the girl with a deep seated hatred for the Garleans later on, but that terrified her. After the soldiers were finished they dragged her mother away and left her father dying in the hut, setting it ablaze with him still inside. The girl herself was trapped in the small compartment, pushing hard at the door but failing to open it. Her cries for help however did not fall on deaf ears and while the house burned around them her dying father dragged himself to the compartment as quickly as he could. He would not let his daughter die.

He released her from the prison and the child screamed and cried over his fading body until the smoke became too much and though she tried she could not drag him from the house. She was forced to flee and she found once she started running she could not stop herself, not until she collapsed near the road. It would be there that Shouhei would find her, a wandering Priest come to investigate the smoke that he'd seen rising. Shouhei took in the girl without a thought, nursing her through her smoke inhalation and then raising her to become one of the Priestess that attended his temple. He had known of her parents, having stopped many times to purchase fruit or other foods from them for the temple itself but he'd never been close to them enough to have much of a hand in Suzume's life.

She was mistrustful at first but grew to love Shouhei as one would any parent. Grateful the girl threw herself into his tutelage at the young age of 8. Around her 10th birthday the Garleans called on the temple and bade it be shut down, they did not condone the worship that the Au Ra perpetrated. Shouhei fearing for his many wards agreed and sent the soldiers on their way. But he had no intention of taking away he hope that the Temple sewed in the Domans that prayed in their halls. The temple was moved to a more secluded part of the surrounding area and operated in secret, along with training to become a Priestess, or Priest the wards of the Temple were now taught how to fight as well and trained in the art of subterfuge as much as possible.

Suzume flourished in this environment, becoming proficient with the Bow, a Bo Staff, Naginata, and to a much lesser degree the sword. As with all Priestess' she was also taught in the arts of healing to take care of the injuries of those that passed through the temple like the rest. Her zealotry against the Garleans however was noticed and Shouhei, who had always felt close to her, decided it was time she aided the Resistances with him. For moons he'd been helping them by supplying food and the like form the temple, even weapons that they had been making as quietly as possible. Suzume accepted without hesitation, becoming the only other in the Temple to know where these people hid.

The temple evaded detection for a long while, providing succor to those who needed it regardless of their status or position on the war and aiding any Resistance that asked it of them. However as with all things kind the Garleans in the area took notice and captured one of the travelers that the Temple had cared for, the man fearing for his life, professed everything. The Temple was raiding the following evening, instead of a massacre however the soldiers captured those that worked there and dragged them away, though inevitably some were able to escape. Suzume refused to run and fought side by side with Shouhei until they were overpowered by the much larger amount of soldiers. Shouhei was captured and tortured while his student was forced to watch, but they would not kill him, needing his knowledge on the resistance's locations and members. They were becoming a thorn in the Empire's side.

In the end Shouhei refused to tell them and both he and Suzume were taken prisoner and dragged from their burning temple to be taken to the local Legatus. In the night before the reached their destination however some of the Shinobi in the resistance they had been aiding would raid the camp of the Garleans. In the confusion Suzume was able to escape but while freeing Shouhei she was wounded and he forced her to abandon him in favor of running, they would not kill him, he was sure of it. With no alternative Suzume ran, their Shinobi saviors being overwhelmed slowly, she'd never be sure if they saved Shouhei or survived.

Suzume fled to the nearest province and did her best to lie low but it was not to be. She was hunted relentlessly for her knowledge, and for the Legatus' pride, so when the Domans fled she blended herself in with the crowd and was whisked away to Eorzea. Now she seeks only to return to Doma and find Shouhei if he yet lives, but with little money and only what she could carry on her she knows she has a long road ahead of her to get herself back.

**Recently**
Recently Suzume has run into a companion that she has dubbed a bodyguard while in Eorzea, Hayate Ashikage. The two met when Suzume was attacked by bandits on the way to Ul'dah and she fled them only to run into a man who had already gained their ire. After a quick but bloody fight the bandits were left dead and Hayate actually -indebted- to the woman. The two are traveling together for the moment and doing their best to survive.

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and had every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

But things didn't work out that way and it has been at least two summers since her departure from her clan, and over time and experience she has grown beyond her limitations, though they still plague her. She has since renounced her clan and no longer returns home, knowing that her mothers affections would be hollow and for her own gain now. Instead she takes comfort in the friends that she has come to call family and her new life trying to spread as much hope, light, and aid that she can. Pursuing knowledge in all things related to aether, dark or light, with a fervor to rival that of a zealot in most cases.

Presently Siha has mastered more than her fair share of Aether manipulation, successfully having delved into both light and dark magics in her quest to save her brother and then ultimately bring him back from his 'death'. A similar crusade to save yet another Red Wing from Nald'Thal finally netted her the attentions of the Empire over her brother, and it is now -she- who is entertained to be the threat just as much as he is. Her near deaths have proven that she has yet a rough road to travel but she's prepared to fight to her last and utilize every moment she's given. Most recently she settled a score with one of those tasked with hunting her and though she came back victorious knows that her struggle is not done. A new enemy has put her in their sights instead.

She worries after the woman like any sister and does her best to protect her despite the other woman's independent and strong streak.

Roswyn was quick to lend a hand despite some misunderstandings along the way, and after a few more meetings to clear those up and some idle chat Siha has found herself liking the woman. Roswyn seems calm and wise to the girl, as well as strong, much like Siha herself wishes she was. She might look up to her more than she'd openly admit. Recently she has discovered that her budding friendship was cut short by Roswyn's death, devastating news to say the least.

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and had every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

But things didn't work out that way and it has been at least two summers since her departure from her clan, and over time and experience she has grown beyond her limitations, though they still plague her. She has since renounced her clan and no longer returns home, knowing that her mothers affections would be hollow and for her own gain now. Instead she takes comfort in the friends that she has come to call family and her new life trying to spread as much hope, light, and aid that she can. Pursuing knowledge in all things related to aether, dark or light, with a fervor to rival that of a zealot in most cases.

Presently Siha has mastered more than her fair share of Aether manipulation, successfully having delved into both light and dark magics in her quest to save her brother and then ultimately bring him back from his 'death'. A similar crusade to save yet another Red Wing from Nald'Thal finally netted her the attentions of the Empire over her brother, and it is now -she- who is entertained to be the threat just as much as he is. Her near deaths have proven that she has yet a rough road to travel but she's prepared to fight to her last and utilize every moment she's given. Most recently she settled a score with one of those tasked with hunting her and though she came back victorious knows that her struggle is not done. A new enemy has put her in their sights instead.

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and has every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

Presently Siha has mastered more than her fair share of Aether manipulation, successfully having delved into both light and dark magics in her quest to save her brother and then ultimately bring him back from his 'death'. A similar crusade to save yet another Red Wing from Nald'Thal has finally netted her the attentions of the Empire over her brother, and it is now -she- who is entertained to be the threat just as much as he is. Her near deaths have proven that she has yet a rough road to travel but she's prepared to fight to her last and utilize every moment she's given.

She worries after the woman like any sister and does her best to protect her despite the other woman's independent and strong streak.

Roswyn seems calm and wise to the girl, as well as strong, much like Siha herself wishes she was. She might look up to her more than she'd openly admit. Recently she has discovered that her budding friendship was cut short by Roswyn's death, devastating news to say the least.

This however has blossomed into a bond resembling the one she has with Erik, it is not quite as deep but the two have shared mememories, something that she has never experienced both ways. It has left her devoted and fond of the scientist to the point where she's sure she would lay her life down to protect him should the need arise.

Saving her for a second time has earned him a place firmly in her category of allies and she plans to learn more about him as days pass, from what he's told her thus far there is a deep instilled respect in him but also a longing that she can relate to.

She firmly believes the man has a heart of gold and wants nothing more than to be a hero, she only hopes that one day he'll realize that he's good enough as he is.

Hime is the first born of Ashake's children, and from her birth it was apparent that she was a determined and stoic one. The girl learned anything put under her nose quick enough but really excelled when it came to matters of combat and the hunt, her skills suffering in magic on the other hand. From the moment the girl could speak it was rare to hear her do so without necessity, only speaking when needed or when she wished to hear stories of hunts. She was most likely to be seen stalking quietly through camp, dogging her father or another Rahzarr Kahl's footsteps, or practicing some form of combat or hunt technique. From an early age she seemed driven to take a place in the elite hunters of the tribe, learning to read simply to devour texts on beasts, locations and weapon techniques when she wasn't actively practicing them.

At the age of 10 she thought herself skilled and knowledgeable enough to hunt, heading out on her own to try and hunt down a particularly troublesome Coeurl that was plaguing La Noscea at the time, instead however when she engaged the cat she found it only to be a pup and then was greeted by a very angry Torama. The incident was enlightening and left her with the scar that crosses from her eyebrow to her cheek, luckily she was able to escape back to camp and the healers were able to make sure the wound healed and would be faint when it scarred. Her drive, however, wasn't unnoticed and Ashake seemed proud enough of the tawny girl he'd sired, leading her to bask in it, if there was one person she wasn't reserved and quiet with it was her father. She had no reservations about sharing her ambition and worked harder than her peers to achieve her goal, though the experience was somewhat tainted when she was finally given her opportunity to begin Rahzarr Kahl training at the age of twelve. She was not the youngest, joining at the same time as a son of the prior Nunh, Amra. It only heightened her want to exceed and she quietly waged a silent rivalry in her head, doing her best to keep up with the male if not best him when she could. Despite the rivalry however her tongue was no less civil and she knew the need for cohesion in the unit. They worked as a team or they would make mistakes and mistakes could mean death.

She began to volunteer for any outside excursion she could, traveling to Limsa and any other city state that they were allowed passage to. Eventually finding that she found great joy in wielding both short blades as well as bows, leading her to make trips to the areas in earnest to work hard at mastering the weapons. At the age of 15 her sister was abducted by slavers, leaving she and the others searching for two weeks before they found the young thing starving and crying near a burned camp, to say that Hime was angry would be an understatement. Her fury knew no bounds and while she was concerned for her sister she trusted her in the hands of those who would take her back and instead stayed to investigate the burning camp, hoping she would find at least one of slavers to question before she sent him to Nald'Thal. To her pleasure she was allowed the chance.

The event however has left a personal tinge to her anger when it comes to slavers and she'll gladly cut them down should she get the chance. No remorse to be seen.

Years passed quietly, the young girl turning to young woman and being recognized as a skilled bow and blade user, while still the quiet and stoic woman she found herself opening up to her fellow Rahzarr Khal and became more ready to participate socially with them beyond hunting and required talks. She even grew to joke with them and challenge them, for fun, to small contests or to drag them along with her when she went to explore. For as she grew so did her curiosity and wanderlust. The Calamity did not bring this to an end but for a time it sobered the girl to realize how fragile they truly were, and she closed herself off again as she had before. Only when she realized it was hurting her ability to hunt with the others did she shed that fear of fragility and mortality, coming back into the fearless woman she'd become before and remains now.

At the age of 24 Y'hime is one of the oldest of the Rahzarr Khal and though she's proud to been apart of them as long as she has she is hesitant to lose her position to the young. She understands the necessity but it makes it no easier. Nor does it make it easy to think she'll have to watch her father grow ever older. She has heard the whispers of Amra being the most likely to one to take over and while she respects the Tia she finds herself grudgingly watching him with a slightly colder eye. It is the way of things but for her, hard to accept, she's determined to see if he is truly worthy of the spot.

Hime is the first born of Ashake's children, and from her birth it was apparent that she was a determined and stoic one. The girl learned anything put under her nose quick enough but really excelled when it came to matters of combat and the hunt, her skills suffering in magic on the other hand. From the moment the girl could speak it was rare to hear her do so without necessity, only speaking when needed or when she wished to hear stories of hunts. She was most likely to be seen stalking quietly through camp, dogging her father or another Rahzarr Kahl's footsteps, or practicing some form of combat or hunt technique. From an early age she seemed driven to take a place in the elite hunters of the tribe, learning to read simply to devour texts on beasts, locations and weapon techniques when she wasn't actively practicing them.

At the age of 10 she thought herself skilled and knowledgeable enough to hunt, heading out on her own to try and hunt down a particularly troublesome Coeurl that was plaguing La Noscea at the time, instead however when she engaged the cat she found it only to be a pup and then was greeted by a very angry Torama. The incident was enlightening and left her with the scar that crosses from her eyebrow to her cheek, luckily she was able to escape back to camp and the healers were able to make sure the wound healed and would be faint when it scarred. Her drive, however, wasn't unnoticed and Ashake seemed proud enough of the tawny girl he'd sired, leading her to bask in it, if there was one person she wasn't reserved and quiet with it was her father. She had no reservations about sharing her ambition and worked harder than her peers to achieve her goal, though the experience was somewhat tainted when she was finally given her opportunity to begin Rahzarr Kahl training at the age of twelve. She was not the youngest, joining at the same time as a son of the prior Nunh, Amra. It only heightened her want to exceed and she quietly waged a silent rivalry in her head, doing her best to keep up with the male if not best him when she could. Despite the rivalry however her tongue was no less civil and she knew the need for cohesion in the unit. They worked as a team or they would make mistakes and mistakes could mean death.

She began to volunteer for any outside excursion she could, traveling to Limsa and any other city state that they were allowed passage to. Eventually finding that she found great joy in wielding both short blades as well as bows, leading her to make trips to the areas in earnest to work hard at mastering the weapons. At the age of 15 her sister was abducted by slavers, leaving she and the others searching for two weeks before they found the young thing starving and crying near a burned camp, to say that Hime was angry would be an understatement. Her fury knew no bounds and while she was concerned for her sister she trusted her in the hands of those who would take her back and instead stayed to investigate the burning camp, hoping she would find at least one of slavers to question before she sent him to Nald'Thal. To her pleasure she was allowed the chance.

The event however has left a personal tinge to her anger when it comes to slavers and she'll gladly cut them down should she get the chance. No remorse to be seen.

Years passed quietly, the young girl turning to young woman and being recognized as a skilled bow and blade user, while still the quiet and stoic woman she found herself opening up to her fellow Rahzarr Khal and became more ready to participate socially with them beyond hunting and required talks. She even grew to joke with them and challenge them, for fun, to small contests or to drag them along with her when she went to explore. For as she grew so did her curiosity and wanderlust. The Calamity did not bring this to an end but for a time it sobered the girl to realize how fragile they truly were, and she closed herself off again as she had before. Only when she realized it was hurting her ability to hunt with the others did she shed that fear of fragility and mortality, coming back into the fearless woman she'd become before and remains now.

At the age of 24 Y'hime is one of the oldest of the Rahzarr Khal and though she's proud to been apart of them as long as she has she is hesitant to lose her position to the young. She understands the necessity but it makes it no easier. Nor does it make it easy to think she'll have to watch her father grow ever older. She has heard the whispers of Amra being the most likely to one to take over and while she respects the Tia she finds herself grudgingly watching him with a slightly colder eye. It is the way of things but for her, hard to accept, she's determined to see if he is truly worthy of the spot.

Hime is the first born of Ashake's children, and from her birth it was apparent that she was a determined and stoic one. The girl learned anything put under her nose quick enough but really excelled when it came to matters of combat and the hunt, her skills suffering in magic on the other hand. From the moment the girl could speak it was rare to hear her do so without necessity, only speaking when needed or when she wished to hear stories of hunts. She was most likely to be seen stalking quietly through camp, dogging her father or another Rahzarr Kahl's footsteps, or practicing some form of combat or hunt technique. From an early age she seemed driven to take a place in the elite hunters of the tribe, learning to read simply to devour texts on beasts, locations and weapon techniques when she wasn't actively practicing them.

At the age of 10 she thought herself skilled and knowledgeable enough to hunt, heading out on her own to try and hunt down a particularly troublesome Coeurl that was plaguing La Noscea at the time, instead however when she engaged the cat she found it only to be a pup and then was greeted by a very angry Torama. The incident was enlightening and left her with the scar that crosses from her eyebrow to her cheek, luckily she was able to escape back to camp and the healers were able to make sure the wound healed and would be faint when it scarred. Her drive, however, wasn't unnoticed and Ashake seemed proud enough of the tawny girl he'd sired, leading her to bask in it, if there was one person she wasn't reserved and quiet with it was her father. She had no reservations about sharing her ambition and worked harder than her peers to achieve her goal, though the experience was somewhat tainted when she was finally given her opportunity to begin Rahzarr Kahl training at the age of twelve. She was not the youngest, joining at the same time as a son of the prior Nunh, Amra. It only heightened her want to exceed and she quietly waged a silent rivalry in her head, doing her best to keep up with the male if not best him when she could. Despite the rivalry however her tongue was no less civil and she knew the need for cohesion in the unit. They worked as a team or they would make mistakes and mistakes could mean death.

She began to volunteer for any outside excursion she could, traveling to Limsa and any other city state that they were allowed passage to. Eventually finding that she found great joy in wielding both short blades as well as bows, leading her to make trips to the areas in earnest to work hard at mastering the weapons. At the age of 15 her sister was abducted by slavers, leaving she and the others searching for two weeks before they found the young thing starving and crying near a burned camp, to say that Hime was angry would be an understatement. Her fury knew no bounds and while she was concerned for her sister she trusted her in the hands of those who would take her back and instead stayed to investigate the burning camp, hoping she would find at least one of slavers to question before she sent him to Nald'Thal. To her pleasure she was allowed the chance.

The event however has left a personal tinge to her anger when it comes to slavers and she'll gladly cut them down should she get the chance. No remorse to be seen.

Years passed quietly, the young girl turning to young woman and being recognized as a skilled bow and blade user, while still the quiet and stoic woman she found herself opening up to her fellow Rahzarr Khal and became more ready to participate socially with them beyond hunting and required talks. She even grew to joke with them and challenge them, for fun, to small contests or to drag them along with her when she went to explore. For as she grew so did her curiosity and wanderlust. The Calamity did not bring this to an end but for a time it sobered the girl to realize how fragile they truly were, and she closed herself off again as she had before. Only when she realized it was hurting her ability to hunt with the others did she shed that fear of fragility and mortality, coming back into the fearless woman she'd become before and remains now.

At the age of 24 Y'hime is one of the oldest of the Rahzarr Khal and though she's proud to been apart of them as long as she has she is hesitant to lose her position to the young. She understands the necessity but it makes it no easier. Nor does it make it easy to think she'll have to watch her father grow ever older. She has heard the whispers of Amra being the most likely to one to take over and while she respects the Tia she finds herself grudgingly watching him with a slightly colder eye. It is the way of things but for her, hard to accept, she's determined to see if he is truly worthy of the spot.
