Siha is very much a child at heart, despite her age of 25 you'd guess this Miqo'te to be more girl than woman with her healthy zest for adventure, child like sense of wonder, and naturally trusting nature. Siha never hesitates to help someone in need, and while usually a good thing, this can sometimes land her in trouble due to the fact that she rarely asks questions and in places like Uldah the 'victims' aren't always who they appear to be. So why might you ask is she out on her own without someone watching over her? Well that's simple. Because her clan purposefully expected her to die (but we'll get to that later).

===Appearance===

Siha's appearance very much matches her personality, the woman stands at a dainty height of 5 feet and 4 inches while her weight is a mere 115 ponz. With a sweet heart shaped face, dainty figure, rosy cheeks and wide indigo eyes it's no wonder sh's often mistaken for a mere teenager when it comes to her age. Aside from those traits the only noticeable things about the girl is that she possesses long hair often pulled into low pigtails, accented by braids, and that a clear mop of shaggy bangs shades her bright eyes. Her locks as well as the fur that covers her ears and long fluffy tail are of a pale shade of cornsilk blonde. Her skin is equally pale though her nose shares the trait with some Miqo'te of being much darker in color than the rest of her, as do her lips which are only a few shades darker than the rest of her.

Siha doesn't possess many scars but bumps and bruises as well as minor cuts aren't foreign to the adventurous lass and it's not uncommon to see her with a bandaid or two stuck to her body and cheeks where her healing hasn't quite cut it. The only permanent marring of her features is a beauty mark that rests under her lower lips an inch or so but the woman doesn't mind and isn't all that obsessed with her looks, not truly giving much thought to what those around her think. That same note would apply to her clothing, Siha isn't all that picky when it comes to clothes though she does prefer bright colors to dark and robes and dresses over pants any day.

Despite the massive amount of inexperience stacked against her and the odds Siha has remained a chipper and positive soul, she rarely lets anything drag her down and even when it does you'd never know it. The girl isn't the toughest cookie but she is good at hiding disappointment as well as hurt, she doesn't enjoy being a burden or even inconvenient and the only sign of sadness you might catch from her is that she will frequently disappear when upset or set about fervently cooking or mending things.

The only thing that the girl lacks optimism about is her own abilities, she's messed up too often to really put stock in herself and has somewhat of a damaged self esteem for multiple reasons. However, she's much too stubborn to really let herself quit and she does her best to learn and try to succeed, but should it come down to a life or death situation it's likely that she would freeze in indecision and her confidence would completely deflate. Not to say that she isn't courageous, and somewhat reckless, with only her own well being at stake it simply isn't the same when she thinks she could cause the death or injury of someone else. Ever forgiving she wouldn't hold her own injuries against a soul, even if they caused them on purpose, and it is perhaps another downfall of a somewhat naive child sent out into the world unprepared. On the plus side however it has worked in her favor once or twice in making friends, as her ability to take abuse can sometimes impress (or maybe cause a little guilt).

The girl is very much clutzy when it comes to her magic, sometimes a simple spell can end up botched in her hands either with a somewhat comical effect or a disastrous one leaving her an unpredictable mess. Overall the girl is a bit naive (not dull or stupid mind you) but she has the best intentions at heart and is doing her best to prove to her clan that she deserves to be able to call their tribal lands home.

When it comes to combat you never really know what you'll get with Siha, due to her somewhat haphazard control on her aether what was once a simple spell can suddenly become so much more or fall completely flat of its goal. She tends to trust her Carbuncle and relies heavily on the little beast that she has affectionately named Nohki, letting him perish is something she simply refuses to do and when he is in danger you can expect a desperate ploy from the Miqo'te to save him.

She doesn't understand it fully yet but the visions are quite disorienting and seem to come at the worst times for the woman. (This trait is iffy and is NEVER used except when permission is gained from all involved in RP, it is mostly for plot purposes)

Karaan Nolan - One of the first people Siha ever had the pleasure of meeting on her pilgrimage she believes that Karaan is a kind and knowledgeable man. He has thus far given her great direction when it comes to her studies as well as providing her with her first, very own, set of books on Ul'dah and the Aether. She hopes to soon meet him for a trip to the 'heart' of the Aether.

Arete Sophoi - A slightly enigmatic woman that Siha is convinced is simply very lonely and sad, Arete has been nothing but kind to the girl but Siha doesn't quite see eye to eye on her about their race or the clans in general. She however does understand the woman's stance and does her best to simply keep her misgivings quiet, taking every opportunity to speak to the woman that she can, she finds her rather insightful and smart despite her somewhat pessimistic and no nonsense views.

Erik Mynhier - Erik is a paladin and Commander of the Red Wings whom Siha met in Limsa when he tracked her down for her abilities. The intelligence Commander had hoped that Siha would be able to help him find out where an old contact of his was currently so that he could make headway in finding his missing wife but the blonde Miqo'te could only see his past and then bits and pieces of the future and events that led to his wife's disappearance. However it was enough to give him something to go on and form a bond between the two through shared emotions, enough so that the Hyur man took Siha as an Oath Sister. The two currently have a very close sibling relationship and more often than not happen to show up where the other is. Currently her relationship is somewhat strained on her end with her brother, he has revealed his illness through her visions and she is doing all she can to save his life but often wonders if it is all going to be enough and if she is worthy of such a task.

Roen Deneith - Siha can help but feel a connection to this woman now, after a mutual sharing of pasts and feelings Siha is proud to say she counts Roen as a sister. She hopes to find out more about her and also to keep her safe. Currently she's grown closer to the woman that most others, even sharing some of the things she won't tell even her oath brother, though she doesn't know why she feels as if Roen understands her best.

Anelia Shadowyn - Siha's now Field Marshall in the company Arcadeus, the two developed into friends before becoming comrades, though admittedly their relationship has become strained due to recent disagreements over how to best help Erik.

C'kayah Tia - A Coeurl tribe Seeker of the Sun that sought Siha out for her abilities much like her oath brother, though with a different intention of only finding out about his own, this male confuses her. Siha likes him quite a bit, she admires his playful and relaxed approach to any situation and has recently come to greatly appreciate his kindness as well as his past. As time has progressed Siha is almost aware of what she feels for this Seeker and it alarms her, things have promised to be complicated but she intends to protect him just as she would any other. Maybe more so.

==History/Timeline==

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and has every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and has every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

So why might you ask is she out on her own without someone watching over her? Well that's simple. Because her clan purposefully expected her to die (but we'll get to that later).

Siha's appearance very much matches her personality, the woman stands at a dainty height of 5 feet and 4 inches while her weight is a mere 115 ponz. With a sweet heart shaped face, dainty figure, rosy cheeks and wide indigo eyes it's no wonder sh's often mistaken for a mere teenager when it comes to her age. Aside from those traits the only noticeable things about the girl is that she possesses long hair often pulled into low pigtails, accented by braids, and that a clear mop of shaggy bangs shades her bright eyes. Her locks as well as the fur that covers her ears and long fluffy tail are of a pale shade of cornsilk blonde. Her skin is equally pale though her nose shares the trait with some Miqo'te of being much darker in color than the rest of her, as do her lips which are only a few shades darker than the rest of her.

Siha doesn't possess many scars but bumps and bruises as well as minor cuts aren't foreign to the adventurous lass and it's not uncommon to see her with a bandaid or two stuck to her body and cheeks where her healing hasn't quite cut it. The only permanent marring of her features is a beauty mark that rests under her lower lips an inch or so but the woman doesn't mind and isn't all that obsessed with her looks, not truly giving much thought to what those around her think. That same note would apply to her clothing, Siha isn't all that picky when it comes to clothes though she does prefer bright colors to dark and robes and dresses over pants any day.

However, she's much too stubborn to really let herself quit and she does her best to learn and try to succeed, but should it come down to a life or death situation it's likely that she would freeze in indecision and her confidence would completely deflate. Not to say that she isn't courageous, and somewhat reckless, with only her own well being at stake it simply isn't the same when she thinks she could cause the death or injury of someone else. Ever forgiving she wouldn't hold her own injuries against a soul, even if they caused them on purpose, and it is perhaps another downfall of a somewhat naive child sent out into the world unprepared. He has thus far given her great direction when it comes to her studies as well as providing her with her first, very own, set of books on Ul'dah and the Aether. She hopes to soon meet him for a trip to the 'heart' of the Aether.

Arete Sophoi - A slightly enigmatic woman that Siha is convinced is simply very lonely and sad, Arete has been nothing but kind to the girl but Siha doesn't quite see eye to eye on her about their race or the clans in general. She however does understand the woman's stance and does her best to simply keep her misgivings quiet, taking every opportunity to speak to the woman that she can, she finds her rather insightful and smart despite her somewhat pessimistic and no nonsense views.

Erik Mynhier - Erik is a paladin and Commander of the Red Wings whom Siha met in Limsa when he tracked her down for her abilities. The intelligence Commander had hoped that Siha would be able to help him find out where an old contact of his was currently so that he could make headway in finding his missing wife but the blonde Miqo'te could only see his past and then bits and pieces of the future and events that led to his wife's disappearance. However it was enough to give him something to go on and form a bond between the two through shared emotions, enough so that the Hyur man took Siha as an Oath Sister. The two currently have a very close sibling relationship and more often than not happen to show up where the other is. Currently her relationship is somewhat strained on her end with her brother, he has revealed his illness through her visions and she is doing all she can to save his life but often wonders if it is all going to be enough and if she is worthy of such a task.

Roen Deneith - Siha can help but feel a connection to this woman now, after a mutual sharing of pasts and feelings Siha is proud to say she counts Roen as a sister. She hopes to find out more about her and also to keep her safe. Currently she's grown closer to the woman that most others, even sharing some of the things she won't tell even her oath brother, though she doesn't know why she feels as if Roen understands her best.

Anelia Shadowyn - Siha's now Field Marshall in the company Arcadeus, the two developed into friends before becoming comrades, though admittedly their relationship has become strained due to recent disagreements over how to best help Erik.

C'kayah Tia - A Coeurl tribe Seeker of the Sun that sought Siha out for her abilities much like her oath brother, though with a different intention of only finding out about his own, this male confuses her. Siha likes him quite a bit, she admires his playful and relaxed approach to any situation and has recently come to greatly appreciate his kindness as well as his past. Their latest meeting has left her quite unsure of what she feels about him but one thing is for sure, she desires to see him more than she feels is normal.

==History/Timeline==

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and has every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

Siha never hesitates to help someone in need, and while usually a good thing, this can sometimes land her in trouble due to the fact that she rarely asks questions and in places like Uldah the 'victims' aren't always who they appear to be. So why might you ask is she out on her own without someone watching over her? Well that's simple. Because her clan purposefully expected her to die (but we'll get to that later).

===Appearance===

Siha's appearance very much matches her personality, the woman stands at a dainty height of 5 feet and 4 inches while her weight is a mere 115 ponz. With a sweet heart shaped face, dainty figure, rosy cheeks and wide indigo eyes it's no wonder sh's often mistaken for a mere teenager when it comes to her age. Aside from those traits the only noticeable things about the girl is that she possesses long hair often pulled into low pigtails, accented by braids, and that a clear mop of shaggy bangs shades her bright eyes. Her locks as well as the fur that covers her ears and long fluffy tail are of a pale shade of cornsilk blonde. Her skin is equally pale though her nose shares the trait with some Miqo'te of being much darker in color than the rest of her, as do her lips which are only a few shades darker than the rest of her.

Siha doesn't possess many scars but bumps and bruises as well as minor cuts aren't foreign to the adventurous lass and it's not uncommon to see her with a bandaid or two stuck to her body and cheeks where her healing hasn't quite cut it. The only permanent marring of her features is a beauty mark that rests under her lower lips an inch or so but the woman doesn't mind and isn't all that obsessed with her looks, not truly giving much thought to what those around her think. That same note would apply to her clothing, Siha isn't all that picky when it comes to clothes though she does prefer bright colors to dark and robes and dresses over pants any day.

Despite the massive amount of inexperience stacked against her and the odds Siha has remained a chipper and positive soul, she rarely lets anything drag her down and even when it does you'd never know it. The girl isn't the toughest cookie but she is good at hiding disappointment as well as hurt, she doesn't enjoy being a burden or even inconvenient and the only sign of sadness you might catch from her is that she will frequently disappear when upset or set about fervently cooking or mending things.

The only thing that the girl lacks optimism about is her own abilities, she's messed up too often to really put stock in herself and has somewhat of a damaged self esteem for multiple reasons. However, she's much too stubborn to really let herself quit and she does her best to learn and try to succeed, but should it come down to a life or death situation it's likely that she would freeze in indecision and her confidence would completely deflate. Not to say that she isn't courageous, and somewhat reckless, with only her own well being at stake it simply isn't the same when she thinks she could cause the death or injury of someone else. Ever forgiving she wouldn't hold her own injuries against a soul, even if they caused them on purpose, and it is perhaps another downfall of a somewhat naive child sent out into the world unprepared. On the plus side however it has worked in her favor once or twice in making friends, as her ability to take abuse can sometimes impress (or maybe cause a little guilt).

The girl is very much clutzy when it comes to her magic, sometimes a simple spell can end up botched in her hands either with a somewhat comical effect or a disastrous one leaving her an unpredictable mess. Overall the girl is a bit naive (not dull or stupid mind you) but she has the best intentions at heart and is doing her best to prove to her clan that she deserves to be able to call their tribal lands home.

When it comes to combat you never really know what you'll get with Siha, due to her somewhat haphazard control on her aether what was once a simple spell can suddenly become so much more or fall completely flat of its goal. She tends to trust her Carbuncle and relies heavily on the little beast that she has affectionately named Nohki, letting him perish is something she simply refuses to do and when he is in danger you can expect a desperate ploy from the Miqo'te to save him.

He has thus far given her great direction when it comes to her studies as well as providing her with her first, very own, set of books on Ul'dah and the Aether. She hopes to soon meet him for a trip to the 'heart' of the Aether.

Arete Sophoi - A slightly enigmatic woman that Siha is convinced is simply very lonely and sad, Arete has been nothing but kind to the girl but Siha doesn't quite see eye to eye on her about their race or the clans in general. She however does understand the woman's stance and does her best to simply keep her misgivings quiet, taking every opportunity to speak to the woman that she can, she finds her rather insightful and smart despite her somewhat pessimistic and no nonsense views.

Erik Mynhier - Erik is a paladin and Commander of the Red Wings whom Siha met in Limsa when he tracked her down for her abilities. C'kayah was born into a sept of the Coeurl Tribe in the deserts around Ul'dah, C'kayah (like many Seekers) both loved the security of his enormous extended family and chafed at the restrictions imposed by them. Coeurl tribe children typically join a ''ton'' at adolescence, leaning to fill an adult's role with the tribe. With his love of wandering, he chose the Hunter's ton, learning the skills of tracking and shooting and enjoying the freedom that tramping through the wilderness provided. On his seventeenth name-day, he left his sept to [[Coeurl Tribe|Hunt the World]], a Coeurl "travelling ritual".

=== 1565-1572 The carefree life ===

Initially upon leaving his tribe, Ul'dah drew him in, as it draws in so many. When he first arrived he had no money, so life was hard for him. His skills were ill-suited toward gaining a living within the city, so he found himself earning his way through mercenary work, caravan-guarding and the like. Along the way he developed his rudimentary Couerl medical talents, becoming a decent frontier medic. Ul'dah is a decadent place, and he took to this decadence wholeheartedly. Supplementing his income by smuggling and theft, he soon grew wealthy enough to enjoy life in Ul'dah. All good things must come to an end, however, and he was chased out of that city in his eighteenth year by agents of the Syndicate.

Over the next few years, he made his way across the world, spending most of his time around Limsa Lominsa and Gridania. Like Ul'dah, these places combined plentiful opportunities for acquiring money with a wealth of pleasures on which to spend it. By this time he had developed a grab bag of competencies, allowing him to get by while avoiding the tedium of a full-time occupation: smuggling, petty theft (though never more than his victims could afford), fixing (in the sense of ''arranging'' matters), and even the occasional legitimate job.

=== 1572/0-Present Calamity ===

C'kayah did not take the Garlean threat seriously at first, considering such politics to be inconsequential to him. As the clouds of war gathered, however, he began to see how he may be affected. Like many in Gridania, he learned to handle a sword in anticipation of a Garlean invasion of the city proper, though he remained in the city when the Gridanians set out for Cartaneau.

Like all who survived the Calamity, the devastation wrought by Bahamut and the red moon shocked him, giving him the full measure of the Garlean threat. He awaited the end with the other Gridanians, and when it did not come, he lent his aid as a medic to the streams of refugees and survivors. The event opened his eyes to the larger concerns of the world.

In the aftermath of the Calamity, he gradually returned to his old ways. Smuggling and ''fixing'', in his mind, were good ways to both help those who lacked what they needed while also giving him the money he desired. He has only recently included Ul'dah in his travels, as enough time has passed for him to have been forgotten there.

Siha is very much a child at heart, despite her age of 25 you'd guess this Miqo'te to be more girl than woman with her healthy zest for adventure, child like sense of wonder, and naturally trusting nature. Siha never hesitates to help someone in need, and while usually a good thing, this can sometimes land her in trouble due to the fact that she rarely asks questions and in places like Uldah the 'victims' aren't always who they appear to be. So why might you ask is she out on her own without someone watching over her? Well that's simple. Because her clan purposefully expected her to die (but we'll get to that later).

===Appearance===

Siha's appearance very much matches her personality, the woman stands at a dainty height of 5 feet and 4 inches while her weight is a mere 115 ponz. With a sweet heart shaped face, dainty figure, rosy cheeks and wide indigo eyes it's no wonder sh's often mistaken for a mere teenager when it comes to her age. Aside from those traits the only noticeable things about the girl is that she possesses long hair often pulled into low pigtails, accented by braids, and that a clear mop of shaggy bangs shades her bright eyes. Her locks as well as the fur that covers her ears and long fluffy tail are of a pale shade of cornsilk blonde. Her skin is equally pale though her nose shares the trait with some Miqo'te of being much darker in color than the rest of her, as do her lips which are only a few shades darker than the rest of her.

Siha doesn't possess many scars but bumps and bruises as well as minor cuts aren't foreign to the adventurous lass and it's not uncommon to see her with a bandaid or two stuck to her body and cheeks where her healing hasn't quite cut it. The only permanent marring of her features is a beauty mark that rests under her lower lips an inch or so but the woman doesn't mind and isn't all that obsessed with her looks, not truly giving much thought to what those around her think. That same note would apply to her clothing, Siha isn't all that picky when it comes to clothes though she does prefer bright colors to dark and robes and dresses over pants any day.

The girl isn't the toughest cookie but she is good at hiding disappointment as well as hurt, she doesn't enjoy being a burden or even inconvenient and the only sign of sadness you might catch from her is that she will frequently disappear when upset or set about fervently cooking or mending things.

The only thing that the girl lacks optimism about is her own abilities, she's messed up too often to really put stock in herself and has somewhat of a damaged self esteem for multiple reasons. However, she's much too stubborn to really let herself quit and she does her best to learn and try to succeed, but should it come down to a life or death situation it's likely that she would freeze in indecision and her confidence would completely deflate. Not to say that she isn't courageous, and somewhat reckless, with only her own well being at stake it simply isn't the same when she thinks she could cause the death or injury of someone else. Ever forgiving she wouldn't hold her own injuries against a soul, even if they caused them on purpose, and it is perhaps another downfall of a somewhat naive child sent out into the world unprepared. On the plus side however it has worked in her favor once or twice in making friends, as her ability to take abuse can sometimes impress (or maybe cause a little guilt).

The girl is very much clutzy when it comes to her magic, sometimes a simple spell can end up botched in her hands either with a somewhat comical effect or a disastrous one leaving her an unpredictable mess. Overall the girl is a bit naive (not dull or stupid mind you) but she has the best intentions at heart and is doing her best to prove to her clan that she deserves to be able to call their tribal lands home.

Karaan Nolan - One of the first people Siha ever had the pleasure of meeting on her pilgrimage she believes that Karaan is a kind and knowledgeable man. He has thus far given her great direction when it comes to her studies as well as providing her with her first, very own, set of books on Ul'dah and the Aether. She hopes to soon meet him for a trip to the 'heart' of the Aether.

Arete Sophoi - A slightly enigmatic woman that Siha is convinced is simply very lonely and sad, Arete has been nothing but kind to the girl but Siha doesn't quite see eye to eye on her about their race or the clans in general. She however does understand the woman's stance and does her best to simply keep her misgivings quiet, taking every opportunity to speak to the woman that she can, she finds her rather insightful and smart despite her somewhat pessimistic and no nonsense views.

Erik Mynhier - Erik is a paladin and Commander of the Red Wings whom Siha met in Limsa when he tracked her down for her abilities. The intelligence Commander had hoped that Siha would be able to help him find out where an old contact of his was currently so that he could make headway in finding his missing wife but the blonde Miqo'te could only see his past and then bits and pieces of the future and events that led to his wife's disappearance. However it was enough to give him something to go on and form a bond between the two through shared emotions, enough so that the Hyur man took Siha as an Oath Sister. The two currently have a very close sibling relationship and more often than not happen to show up where the other is.

Roen Deneith - Siha has only just met Roen but she dreams about her often and has a mixture of hopeful and apprehensive feelings about the very kind woman. She's unsure if the dreams mean something tragic much like the Calamity dreams did or perhaps something hopeful that ties her to her oath brother Erik.

Anelia Shadowyn - Another recent contact Siha is comfortable around Anelia much like she is with anyone, the two have had little chance to talk but Siha considers her part of the friends she's made.

C'kayah Tia - A Coeurl tribe Seeker of the Sun that sought Siha out for her abilities much like her oath brother, though with a different intention of only finding out about his own, this male confuses her. Siha likes him quite a bit, she admires his playful and relaxed approach to any situation and has recently come to greatly appreciate his kindness as well as his past. Their latest meeting has left her quite unsure of what she feels about him but one thing is for sure, she desires to see him more than she feels is normal.

==History/Timeline==

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and has every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

Karaan Nolan - One of the first people Siha ever had the pleasure of meeting on her pilgrimage she believes that Karaan is a kind and knowledgeable man. He has thus far given her great direction when it comes to her studies as well as providing her with her first, very own, set of books on Ul'dah and the Aether. She hopes to soon meet him for a trip to the 'heart' of the Aether.

Arete Sophoi - A slightly enigmatic woman that Siha is convinced is simply very lonely and sad, Arete has been nothing but kind to the girl but Siha doesn't quite see eye to eye on her about their race or the clans in general. She however does understand the woman's stance and does her best to simply keep her misgivings quiet, taking every opportunity to speak to the woman that she can, she finds her rather insightful and smart despite her somewhat pessimistic and no nonsense views.

Erik Mynhier - Erik is a paladin and Commander of the Red Wings whom Siha met in Limsa when he tracked her down for her abilities. The intelligence Commander had hoped that Siha would be able to help him find out where an old contact of his was currently so that he could make headway in finding his missing wife but the blonde Miqo'te could only see his past and then bits and pieces of the future and events that led to his wife's disappearance. However it was enough to give him something to go on and form a bond between the two through shared emotions, enough so that the Hyur man took Siha as an Oath Sister. The two currently have a very close sibling relationship and more often than not happen to show up where the other is.

Roen Deneith - Siha has only just met Roen but she dreams about her often and has a mixture of hopeful and apprehensive feelings about the very kind woman. She's unsure if the dreams mean something tragic much like the Calamity dreams did or perhaps something hopeful that ties her to her oath brother Erik.

Anelia Shadowyn - Another recent contact Siha is comfortable around Anelia much like she is with anyone, the two have had little chance to talk but Siha considers her part of the friends she's made.

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and has every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

So why might you ask is she out on her own without someone watching over her? Well that's simple. Because her clan purposefully expected her to die (but we'll get to that later).

Siha's appearance very much matches her personality, the woman stands at a dainty height of 5 feet and 4 inches while her weight is a mere 115 ponz. With a sweet heart shaped face, dainty figure, rosy cheeks and wide indigo eyes it's no wonder sh's often mistaken for a mere teenager when it comes to her age. Aside from those traits the only noticeable things about the girl is that she possesses long hair often pulled into low pigtails, accented by braids, and that a clear mop of shaggy bangs shades her bright eyes. Her locks as well as the fur that covers her ears and long fluffy tail are of a pale shade of cornsilk blonde. Her skin is equally pale though her nose shares the trait with some Miqo'te of being much darker in color than the rest of her, as do her lips which are only a few shades darker than the rest of her.

Siha doesn't possess many scars but bumps and bruises as well as minor cuts aren't foreign to the adventurous lass and it's not uncommon to see her with a bandaid or two stuck to her body and cheeks where her healing hasn't quite cut it. The only permanent marring of her features is a beauty mark that rests under her lower lips an inch or so but the woman doesn't mind and isn't all that obsessed with her looks, not truly giving much thought to what those around her think. That same note would apply to her clothing, Siha isn't all that picky when it comes to clothes though she does prefer bright colors to dark and robes and dresses over pants any day.

Siha is from a small clan so her siblings are limited, she currently has two sisters and a brother, all are older than herself. Her mother is a prominent figure for her but the woman is a complete witch behind the scenes, no matter how sweetly she acts on the outside it's always to hide a dark ulterior motive. As for Siha's father, her mother never speaks of him and she doesn't share his blood with her other siblings making them, technically, half siblings. What her mother hasn't shares is that her father is a pirate, one that her mother couldn't resist due to his charm and the zest for life that his daughter inherited. The Miqo'te male shirks the usual traits of his race and is a sun loving, boisterous man, who hasn't quite ever grown up. (Siha's family is very much open for people to make them!)

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and has every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.

Karaan Nolan - One of the first people Siha ever had the pleasure of meeting on her pilgrimage she believes that Karaan is a kind and knowledgeable man. He has thus far given her great direction when it comes to her studies as well as providing her with her first, very own, set of books on Ul'dah and the Aether. She hopes to soon meet him for a trip to the 'heart' of the Aether.

Arete Sophoi - A slightly enigmatic woman that Siha is convinced is simply very lonely and sad, Arete has been nothing but kind to the girl but Siha doesn't quite see eye to eye on her about their race or the clans in general. She however does understand the woman's stance and does her best to simply keep her misgivings quiet, taking every opportunity to speak to the woman that she can, she finds her rather insightful and smart despite her somewhat pessimistic and no nonsense views.

Erik Mynhier - Erik is a paladin and Commander of the Red Wings whom Siha met in Limsa when he tracked her down for her abilities. The intelligence Commander had hoped that Siha would be able to help him find out where an old contact of his was currently so that he could make headway in finding his missing wife but the blonde Miqo'te could only see his past and then bits and pieces of the future and events that led to his wife's disappearance. However it was enough to give him something to go on and form a bond between the two through shared emotions, enough so that the Hyur man took Siha as an Oath Sister. The two currently have a very close sibling relationship and more often than not happen to show up where the other is.

Roen Deneith - Siha has only just met Roen but she dreams about her often and has a mixture of hopeful and apprehensive feelings about the very kind woman. She's unsure if the dreams mean something tragic much like the Calamity dreams did or perhaps something hopeful that ties her to her oath brother Erik.

Anelia Shadowyn - Another recent contact Siha is comfortable around Anelia much like she is with anyone, the two have had little chance to talk but Siha considers her part of the friends she's made.

Siha is very much a child at heart, despite her age of 25 you'd guess this Miqo'te to be more girl than woman with her healthy zest for adventure, child like sense of wonder, and naturally trusting nature. Siha never hesitates to help someone in need, and while usually a good thing, this can sometimes land her in trouble due to the fact that she rarely asks questions and in places like Uldah the 'victims' aren't always who they appear to be. So why might you ask is she out on her own without someone watching over her? Well that's simple. Because her clan purposefully expected her to die (but we'll get to that later).

Siha's appearance very much matches her personality, the woman stands at a dainty height of 5 feet and 4 inches while her weight is a mere 115 ponz. With a sweet heart shaped face, dainty figure, rosy cheeks and wide indigo eyes it's no wonder sh's often mistaken for a mere teenager when it comes to her age. Aside from those traits the only noticeable things about the girl is that she possesses long hair often pulled into low pigtails, accented by braids, and that a clear mop of shaggy bangs shades her bright eyes. Her locks as well as the fur that covers her ears and long fluffy tail are of a pale shade of cornsilk blonde. Her skin is equally pale though her nose shares the trait with some Miqo'te of being much darker in color than the rest of her, as do her lips which are only a few shades darker than the rest of her.

Siha doesn't possess many scars but bumps and bruises as well as minor cuts aren't foreign to the adventurous lass and it's not uncommon to see her with a bandaid or two stuck to her body and cheeks where her healing hasn't quite cut it. The only permanent marring of her features is a beauty mark that rests under her lower lips an inch or so but the woman doesn't mind and isn't all that obsessed with her looks, not truly giving much thought to what those around her think. That same note would apply to her clothing, Siha isn't all that picky when it comes to clothes though she does prefer bright colors to dark and robes and dresses over pants any day.

The girl isn't the toughest cookie but she is good at hiding disappointment as well as hurt, she doesn't enjoy being a burden or even inconvenient and the only sign of sadness you might catch from her is that she will frequently disappear when upset or set about fervently cooking or mending things.

The only thing that the girl lacks optimism about is her own abilities, she's messed up too often to really put stock in herself and has somewhat of a damaged self esteem for multiple reasons. However, she's much too stubborn to really let herself quit and she does her best to learn and try to succeed, but should it come down to a life or death situation it's likely that she would freeze in indecision and her confidence would completely deflate. Not to say that she isn't courageous, and somewhat reckless, with only her own well being at stake it simply isn't the same when she thinks she could cause the death or injury of someone else. Ever forgiving she wouldn't hold her own injuries against a soul, even if they caused them on purpose, and it is perhaps another downfall of a somewhat naive child sent out into the world unprepared. On the plus side however it has worked in her favor once or twice in making friends, as her ability to take abuse can sometimes impress (or maybe cause a little guilt).

The girl is very much clutzy when it comes to her magic, sometimes a simple spell can end up botched in her hands either with a somewhat comical effect or a disastrous one leaving her an unpredictable mess. Overall the girl is a bit naive (not dull or stupid mind you) but she has the best intentions at heart and is doing her best to prove to her clan that she deserves to be able to call their tribal lands home.

When it comes to combat you never really know what you'll get with Siha, due to her somewhat haphazard control on her aether what was once a simple spell can suddenly become so much more or fall completely flat of its goal. She tends to trust her Carbuncle and relies heavily on the little beast that she has affectionately named Nohki, letting him perish is something she simply refuses to do and when he is in danger you can expect a desperate ploy from the Miqo'te to save him.

The girl isn't the toughest cookie but she is good at hiding disappointment as well as hurt, she doesn't enjoy being a burden or even inconvenient and the only sign of sadness you might catch from her is that she will frequently disappear when upset or set about fervently cooking or mending things.

The only thing that the girl lacks optimism about is her own abilities, she's messed up too often to really put stock in herself and has somewhat of a damaged self esteem for multiple reasons. However, she's much too stubborn to really let herself quit and she does her best to learn and try to succeed, but should it come down to a life or death situation it's likely that she would freeze in indecision and her confidence would completely deflate. Not to say that she isn't courageous, and somewhat reckless, with only her own well being at stake it simply isn't the same when she thinks she could cause the death or injury of someone else. Ever forgiving she wouldn't hold her own injuries against a soul, even if they caused them on purpose, and it is perhaps another downfall of a somewhat naive child sent out into the world unprepared. On the plus side however it has worked in her favor once or twice in making friends, as her ability to take abuse can sometimes impress (or maybe cause a little guilt).

The girl is very much clutzy when it comes to her magic, sometimes a simple spell can end up botched in her hands either with a somewhat comical effect or a disastrous one leaving her an unpredictable mess. Overall the girl is a bit naive (not dull or stupid mind you) but she has the best intentions at heart and is doing her best to prove to her clan that she deserves to be able to call their tribal lands home.

When it comes to combat you never really know what you'll get with Siha, due to her somewhat haphazard control on her aether what was once a simple spell can suddenly become so much more or fall completely flat of its goal. She tends to trust her Carbuncle and relies heavily on the little beast that she has affectionately named Nohki, letting him perish is something she simply refuses to do and when he is in danger you can expect a desperate ploy from the Miqo'te to save him.

She doesn't understand it fully yet but the visions are quite disorienting and seem to come at the worst times for the woman. Siha is from a small clan so her siblings are limited, she currently has two sisters and a brother, all are older than herself. Her mother is a prominent figure for her but the woman is a complete witch behind the scenes, no matter how sweetly she acts on the outside it's always to hide a dark ulterior motive. As for Siha's father, her mother never speaks of him and she doesn't share his blood with her other siblings making them, technically, half siblings. What her mother hasn't shares is that her father is a pirate, one that her mother couldn't resist due to his charm and the zest for life that his daughter inherited. The Miqo'te male shirks the usual traits of his race and is a sun loving, boisterous man, who hasn't quite ever grown up. (Siha's family is very much open for people to make them!)

==History/Timeline==

Siha's history begins with the history of her clan, they started out as the usual Keepers, staying fast to the forests in Gridania despite the conflict with the locals but eventually a small band grew weary of the constant fighting and strife, breaking off they headed for a new place. Ul'dah was out of the question with its lack of water and always scorching heat, so they traveled to the next best place, Limsa Lominsa. There they settled and prospered under the leadership of the three 'dominant' families of the tribesmen and women that had come along, one happening to be the family of Shota Xinkei (Siha's mother), and their lives were as peaceful as any clan living in isolation outside of the city in the cliffs overlooking the ocean. The clan kept to itself and only ventured to the city when absolutely necessary, and that wasn't often for them, so when Siha was born it was into a clan rife with tradition but also infighting. She was an anomaly, her entire family was, with 9 older boys and only girl most looked upon her mother as unblessed by Menphina and it had warped the Miqo'te woman into a foul embittered, and defensive thing who was obsessed with appearances.

This all proved to be bad news for the young Siha who was nothing short of a disaster child, born the only child from a fling between her mother and a pirate Miqo'te (Yuzu'ya), she was clumsy and much too outgoing and unrefined for her mothers taste but Shota couldn't simply disown her. It would have shown weakness and there was no father to pass her to as he had no idea he'd fathered a child and being a man of the sea Shota had no way and no want to find him again. Instead the mother was hard on the girl and tried her best to hide her disdain behind sugary veiled threats, accidents and underhanded snide comments towards the unsuspecting little girl. The rest of the clan left Shota to her devices with the girl, unwilling to touch the tainted females progeny and so it only embittered Shota more that the birth of a girl wasn't finally her ticket back into the good graces and standings of the clan.

Siha blinded herself to her mothers mistreatment and instead contented herself with wandering far and wide, days at a time when she could manage, and she usually could with her mother always hoping she just wouldn't come back. All of Shota's bitterness was attached to the girl through no fault other than she was a female and still unworthy of gaining her mother favor, she was a failed hope and it made Shota hate her innocent daughter. Siha's brothers as well as the most of the clan had little love for their sister, the brothers because they would take any chance to curry Shota's favor and dodge her ire, while the clan simply saw her as cursed like her mother and the rather destructive screw up of the clan. Still Siha kept up her spirits and started on the path of the Arcanist, aether had always fascinated her and despite being clumsy the girl wasn't completely dull, in fact she was rather sharp! It wasn't until the girl had turned 15 that her visions started, but when they did it was as if hell had broken loose on her, they were frequent and terrible and worst of all she dreamed of the Calamity with no inkling that it was something to actually come to pass.

When the Calamity did come to pass the clan the girl came from was devastated like any others and lost almost half their numbers to the event, but the emotional damage went far beyond that for the budding seeress who not only had the privileged of knowing those that died but knowing she could have warned them. She had dreamed it after all. For months she was inconsolable, isolating herself from everyone in her clan, she had to force herself to come to terms with that guilt or bury and as before...she buried it, leaving it a deep wound with only a thin covering to keep it from reopening but covered it was. She returned to the clan and her studies but her confidence was shattered and so her skills suffered more until her mother could hardly look at her without shame, that's when Shota was given a way out after hearing of tradition that other clans employed, pilgrimage. She would toss the girl into the wilds with a vague idea of what she was doing and hope for the worst, that her daughter would never return regardless of if it was due to death or misdirection.

Siha had no idea the pilgrimage her mother gave her with shining eyes was anything less than honest and a chance to prove herself so she took it eagerly and has every intention of fulfilling her mother's expectations.
