-War Bear was born in a small village in Abalathia's Spine on The 8th Sun of the 4th Umbral Moon in 1540 of the Sixth Astral Age, He was born five minutes after he maternal twin War Siren. Making him the Third child of Steel Blossom (Mother) and Roaring Mountain (Father). He also had an elder brother by one year Thunder Axe. All three children were trained rigorously in the arts of war and weaponry, while Thunder Axe was also tutored in the tribes way, War Siren and War Bear were not privy to those teachings being the second and third children, they knew one day they would have to leave to find their own path in the world, as was custom of their people, due to sparse resources of the land in Abalathia's Spine.
Life was hard but good, War Bear and War Siren excelled at their training, and having become obsessed with the legend of the Warriors of Old the Twins decided they would seek a similar fate, to master their inner beast.

On their 13th Names Day War Bear and War Siren were given Halberds of their own and armor, and sent on their journey to make their way in the world. They never saw their parents or eldest brother again.

-Never forgetting the tales of old, they sought out any that had knowledge of the Hellsguard Warriors of old. Constantly training and emulating what they could find, it wasn't until 6 months into their journey that they stumbled onto a "tomb" of a Roegadyn Hellsguard Sellsword platoon lost to a bygone era, that they found their Soul Stone, the key to unlocking the Inner Beast.

After unlocking using only stories and legends as guides the two undertook the task of becoming as the Warriors of old were, they decided to go separate ways for 3 moons to tame and control their Inner Beasts and meet back at the spot they parted.

War Bear Spent those three moons deep in the deserts of Thanalan slaughtering any creature he came across in a bestial state for days. Final he was able to gain control covered in gore from his bestial victims. He slipped in and out of control for the next few days, every time awaking to carnage and slaughter of local predators. He struggled through black outs and wounds to gain control of the Inner Beast, he finally gained control after weeks of struggle. He realized that instead of controlling the beast, he needed to accept it as a part of him, as an ally and not treat it as a monster to be caged. He had done this with a few days to deadline to depart for his return to his Sister, he was uneasy and and decided instead of heading back a few days early to remain to make sure the beast was in check.

When he returned to the meeting point he found War Siren Eating with a camp set up. She had told him that she had returned a week ago. They both exchanged tales of where they went and how they managed to gain control of their inner beast. Where War Bear eventually welcomed it, and embraced it; War Siren forced control and will over it. Two different paths to what seemed like the same results. The next day the two plotted a course to a city they felt they could find work. Ala Mhigo, they had heard tales of the growing unrest between The King Of Ruin Theoderic, and the Fist of Rhalgr and thought they may find work in the city.

-Upon arriving in Ala Mhigo, War Bear and War Siren quickly found work among King Theoderic's forces as mercenaries. The next few years were bloody, cruel and shaping. upon they're first week, they were recruited to assist in the purging of the Monks, The Fist Of Rhalgr. It was a bloody massacre, and the first time the twins had ever seen Death on This scale. During that bloody battle, War had met another Roegadyn named Flameson Hammersmith, the two were more acquaintances than friends, but he looked up to the machines of ruin the Smith wrought. After the siege was over, War Bear was down four axes, the Smith perhaps taking pity on the young man, his reasons are unknown to any but himself forged an axe that could stand up to the young man's furious blows. He also gave him the nickname of "Breaker." War Bear named the Axe "Mountain's Cleave". It saw it's fare share of blood in the years to come.

The years that followed the purge, still haunt War to this day. Theoderic's insanity grew by the passing months. He had Family, friend, and subject slain in his fits of insane paranoia. There was beheading, after beheading, the blood flowed but yet the mercenaries stayed their contract, not speaking their disgust less, they're heads added to the growing number taken. When the people could no longer take the cruelty, and insanity they revolted, War Siren and War Bear agreed it was time to turn their backs and walk away. They had too much blood on their hands, and had planned to set off to only do jobs that would help others as a redemption of sorts.
Before the Twins could leave the Garlemald Forces descended. The conflict if you could call it that was swift, and over before anyone knew it really began. Using the revolt as an in they came in and conquered the city, War Bear and War Siren decided they would help get as many out as they could, to hopefully find refuge for the weary and broken citizens else where.

-War Bear was born in a small village in Abalathia's Spine on The 8th Sun of the 4th Umbral Moon in 1540 of the Sixth Astral Age, He was born five minutes after he maternal twin War Siren. Making him the Third child of Steel Blossom (Mother) and Roaring Mountain (Father). He also had an elder brother by one year Thunder Axe. All three children were trained rigorously in the arts of war and weaponry, while Thunder Axe was also tutored in the tribes way, War Siren and War Bear were not privy to those teachings being the second and third children, they knew one day they would have to leave to find their own path in the world, as was custom of their people, due to sparse resources of the land in Abalathia's Spine.
Life was hard but good, War Bear and War Siren excelled at their training, and having become obsessed with the legend of the Warriors of Old the Twins decided they would seek a similar fate, to master their inner beast.

On their 13th Names Day War Bear and War Siren were given Halberds of their own and armor, and sent on their journey to make their way in the world. They never saw their parents or eldest brother again.

-Never forgetting the tales of old, they sought out any that had knowledge of the Hellsguard Warriors of old. Constantly training and emulating what they could find, it wasn't until 6 months into their journey that they stumbled onto a "tomb" of a Roegadyn Hellsguard Sellsword platoon lost to a bygone era, that they found their Soul Stone, the key to unlocking the Inner Beast.

After unlocking using only stories and legends as guides the two undertook the task of becoming as the Warriors of old were, they decided to go separate ways for 3 moons to tame and control their Inner Beasts and meet back at the spot they parted.

War Bear Spent those three moons deep in the deserts of Thanalan slaughtering any creature he came across in a bestial state for days. Final he was able to gain control covered in gore from his bestial victims. He slipped in and out of control for the next few days, every time awaking to carnage and slaughter of local predators. He struggled through black outs and wounds to gain control of the Inner Beast, he finally gained control after weeks of struggle. He realized that instead of controlling the beast, he needed to accept it as a part of him, as an ally and not treat it as a monster to be caged. He had done this with a few days to deadline to depart for his return to his Sister, he was uneasy and and decided instead of heading back a few days early to remain to make sure the beast was in check.

When he returned to the meeting point he found War Siren Eating with a camp set up. She had told him that she had returned a week ago. They both exchanged tales of where they went and how they managed to gain control of their inner beast. Where War Bear eventually welcomed it, and embraced it; War Siren forced control and will over it. Two different paths to what seemed like the same results. The next day the two plotted a course to a city they felt they could find work. Ala Mhigo, they had heard tales of the growing unrest between The King Of Ruin Theoderic, and the Fist of Rhalgr and thought they may find work in the city.

-Upon arriving in Ala Mhigo, War Bear and War Siren quickly found work among King Theoderic's forces as mercenaries. The next few years were bloody, cruel and shaping. upon they're first week, they were recruited to assist in the purging of the Monks, The Fist Of Rhalgr. It was a bloody massacre, and the first time the twins had ever seen Death on This scale. During that bloody battle, War had met another Roegadyn named Flameson Hammersmith, the two were more acquaintances than friends, but he looked up to the machines of ruin the Smith wrought. After the siege was over, War Bear was down four axes, the Smith perhaps taking pity on the young man, his reasons are unknown to any but himself forged an axe that could stand up to the young man's furious blows. He also gave him the nickname of "Breaker." War Bear named the Axe "Mountain's Cleave". It saw it's fare share of blood in the years to come.

The years that followed the purge, still haunt War to this day. Theoderic's insanity grew by the passing months. He had Family, friend, and subject slain in his fits of insane paranoia. There was beheading, after beheading, the blood flowed but yet the mercenaries stayed their contract, not speaking their disgust less, they're heads added to the growing number taken. When the people could no longer take the cruelty, and insanity they revolted, War Siren and War Bear agreed it was time to turn their backs and walk away. They had too much blood on their hands, and had planned to set off to only do jobs that would help others as a redemption of sorts.
Before the Twins could leave the Garlemald Forces descended. The conflict if you could call it that was swift, and over before anyone knew it really began. Using the revolt as an in they came in and conquered the city, War Bear and War Siren decided they would help get as many out as they could, to hopefully find refuge for the weary and broken citizens else where.
