<tr>At a glance, Sulnera would seem like almost any other Midlander after the Calamity. His life was greatly affected by the end of the 6th Astral Era, and he has made it his mission to forge his own path with the coming of a new one. Stalwart in his beliefs, he wishes nothing more than to find a place to call his own in this new world, although the twisted deigns of Fate seem to have other plans for him, much to his chagrin and dismay. Even so, he continues on, never allowing a setback or failure to deter him from his hopes and dreams, whatever they may be at the time.

: Standing tall by Midlander standards, he keeps himself covered in a thick Crimson Red jackcoat, holstering a length of rope and his daggers by his hip. A scarf and Necklace adorn his neck, keepsakes from his Mother and Father, respectively. His mouth is usually covered by a large metal mask, which he is generally never seen without in public. His body is at the peak of fitness, small amounts of muscle visible through his partially uncovered chest. His blades appear to be a pair of short scimitars, balanced and sharpened with great care to be perfectly symmetrical.

: While generally holding an aversion to crowds, when in small groups and social situations he tries to keep a good nature about him, generally calm and calculating at first glance. Once people have gotten to know him, he opens up to an entirely different person, the calm and calculating persona giving way to an almost foolishly immature air, sometimes described as a bit of a Buffoon. He cares not for such titles, and only wishes for those around him to be at ease and happy. He is completely trusting of those he considers his friends, and hopes they feel the same in him, always doing his best in their name.

: Born back in the city-state of Ala Mhigo, he grew up nurturing his parents kind hearted and open nature, being taught to always consider and value those around him. His parents were Archaeologists, Architects, and their love of history, literature, and other such arts were passed down to him from an early age. Life soon turned sour, however, with the rise of Theodorac, the King of Ruin. His parents were stalwart in their ideals, holding their love of history, many of their findings sanctified the Twelve, other than Nymeia. Theodoracs reign did not allow this, and they were thusly executed, leaving young Sulnera to fend for himself in the militaristic rule of the Tyrant. Alone, without family or friend, he made due with what he could.

: Life in Ala Mhigo was...rough, to say the least. Many a day he went hungry, without food, water, or shelter in the blistering desert. He was forced to take up thievery, subterfuge, always hiding the few relics he kept of his parents to hold their memory. His parents teachings still held true, even though he scorned the name of Nymeia each day of his life for bringing this ruin to him. He grew, was trounced, beaten within an inch of his life on several occasions, only to get back up, determined not to allow the Weaver of Fates to cut him so early on.

: The Garlean invasion came swift, fast, many hailing them as saviors, but he knew better. He fled with others, finding himself in Limsa Lominsa, tired, hungry, unknowing of what he would do from now on. Unbeknownst to him, Limsa fit his skill set to a T, soon finding himself in a government sanctioned group of Privateers, helping to combat the rampant Piracy and Sahagin activity around the harbors. With the coming of the Galadion Accord, and the onset of the Calamity, he found himself without work once more, using his small fortune to roam the world, trying to find himself and study the remnants of the past his parents always held so dear.
