There was no time to ask when they made their way to the next possiblity to go somewhere, where the Garlean Empire can't reach. On the way, they joined a couple of Doma'n refugees who were on the way to Eorzea. They gladly took them along to the other continent. When he finally reached Mor Dhona and the adventurer guild, he tried to drown his sorrows and grief for his family in work, much work. But no matter what he would do, there would always be a feeling of something missing in his heart.
 On one day, he and some fellow adventurers got a mission to escort a caravan with goods to camp dragonhead. As expected, a group of heretics tried to raid them, but Typhos knew to defend himself. When Alberic saw what was happening, he quickly relized the potential this young Au Ra had. He talked to him and promised to train him to even improve his ability with the lance if he promises loyalty to Ishgard and protect it from its foes.
 The offer of a future was too tempting that he actually gave in and began his life as a dragoon. Soon he even realized that he is a chosen one, a warrior of light. Forever more, he would prove that he is proud to wear that title and that he is a real hero who someday will take Orthrad back to freedom.

 He is not someone who gets easily tempered, but he won't say no to a challenge. When he feels something, he doesn't try to hide it really much, beeing it joy or sadness. He really has a hard time to hide these feelings. He loves his life and he trys to look at everything and everyone as positivly as he can. He is very proud of himself, not beeing afraid in taking the spotlight as a hero. Usually he doesn't think much of what will do next, but the past taught him that he has to sometimes. Because of his positive attitude, he has a hard time to actually stay serious, often trying to hit a joke where he can. He is confident, maybe too confident sometimes and he doesn't like people tell him otherwise. In secret however he always trys to look at himself and look for things he can improve to stay the among the best in the lines of the dragoons. Before he picks a fight, he rather trys to end conflicts without spilling blood. He dispises revenge, for it only causes more anger and more pain. If someone did a mistake, he usually forgives them really quick. That sometimes makes him end up in bad situations because of his trust in the good in people. Even though he is easy going and has a big ego, he actually works hard for what he is, sometimes bringing himself on the borders what he can do.
