Getting by in such a harsh of environment was not easy, and from an early age, Therin was taught survival skills, hunting, and several fighting and weapon disciplines. Her tribe often traded with Ala Mhigan refugees, and it was not uncommon they would have Magitek bits and scraps among their wares. They were agitated that her time spent tinkering could have been better spent doing things they saw more beneficial to the tribe, such as hunting or gathering, helping to raise the younger members, or spending more time with her Nunh.
