At a young age he started working for his parent's clothing shop. Although his family owned a store, business was always slow so they didn't have much money when he was growing up. When Renias was 18 years of age he quit working for his parents and applied to the city guard. He was quickly accepted as he was fairly strong for someone his age. He worked hard as a city guard and was enjoying his new line of work. One night while on watch at the Western Gate, his parents were robbed and killed inside their home. He quit the guard shortly after, but he needed a new way to make money. Renias decided to use his skills as a swordsman and became a bodyguard-for-hire, working for whoever payed the right price. He still looks for any information or clues on who killed his parents.
